Do you want to vote for someone who thinks they're better than you? or someone who is an addict and commands you to do what he wants? or someone so rich and powerful they can't possibly understand you? if you answered no to these question then Yoshi is the candidate for you! Yoshi is a common forum goer just like you. He understands the problems of the average forumite because he is one, so who better than to represent the people of these fine forums then him? Yoshi is rebooting congress so your voice will be heard! Some of the other candidates may claim your voice will be heard, but they haven't explained how, so either they are hiding something or the haven't planned it out and as we all know failing to plan is planning to fail. So this election do you want someone out of touch with you and is primed to fail? or do you want the the candidate with the plan to succeed? so vote for the common man, the man who will listen to you whether you're green, purple, silver or whatever. Vote for Yoshi!

Alright back to weekly let's get into it: Primary Announcement: The Wrapup is now over a year old. January 27th marked the anniversary of the WSW. COMMUNITY EVENTS Boss's Inaugural GTA V Event For his first Community Event as co-head of Promotions and Events, D-38 Boss started off with multiple bangs and explosions in a GTA V Event. According to Boss, the 343i Community killed some randoms, him and JL got into a personal kill fest with each other, and all in all it was a good time. Participants: GermanShepherdD, D-38 Boss, Magical Love, Torrenting, Edward Kenway, Bnus, and onsokumaru Boss's Real (good) Time Strategy Event And for his second Community Event, Boss hosted a crowd pleaser with a Halo Wars Community Event. Nothing but good feedback about the Event and Boss's hosting. The games were great, one even went for over two hours but Flappy Bird got in the way eventually leading to one team's demise. The attendees of this Event will get the exclusive Halo Wars Playdate Award: Participants: D-38 Boss, Yang Xiao Long, Ledgend1221, Vaulting Frog, UNSC Spartan II, Edward Kenway Everyone who attends Community Events gets the Gamer Award: FEATURED INTERVIEWS Gryffin - Art Department Staff and member of the well known YouTube group, the OnlineKnights. FORGE Featured Map Weeeee it's Baby Guardian by Zandril! This miniaturized version of one of the best Halo maps ever created, Guardian from Halo 3, is a special little aesthetic piece Zandril Forged for the modded Gametype Mini Slayer! GAMING NEWS 343 Partners With Gallery Books Now I don't know much about Gallery Books or what they've published or who they've published for before but I do know one thing: and that's that I love the Halo novels. They're expertly written and go beyond where the games can take you in the Halo Universe so the fact that 343 has made this deal with Gallery Books and plans to keep publishing Halo novels is nothing short of fantastic. French Retailer Confirms Titanfall Beta on Valentine's Day Not too long ago, it was made clear by a Micromania store in France, as seen above, that a Titanfall Beta could be coming our way. Another big week with Spyro's USF Election making a return so let's get into things: Primary Announcement: ANNOUNCEMENT This will be the last time I post this announcement here. Absolute Dog has come in contact with someone at 343industries and they've given us the opportunity to play test for them should you choose to sign up. You will also be getting paid to play test for them. Find the announcement by clicking the picture above. DESTINY Destiny Cover Art Revealed Plus Trailer Announcement Lovely isn't it? The Destiny Cover Art was revealed today and brought to our attention by News Group Member adamj004. Along with this however, Bungie also revealed that there will be a trailer out soon. What's to come? Greatness that's for sure. Destiny Beta for Pre-Order Customers Bungie is always good to its fans and that's why if you've been good to them by pre-ordering Destiny, they're going to give you access to the Destiny Beta before its official release. OH YEAAHHH. Announcement by Jester. FEATURED INTERVIEWS The Podcast Crew - Although I only see Muse online anymore of the crew, my first group interview was a very fun and interesting one. The guys that make up the Podcast Crew are some of the funniest members especially if you get them together. FORGE 343industries.org and The Halo Forge Epidemic present: The Meet Your Maker Dominion Forge Contest is over. Each Forger was allowed two submissions this time around. Judging has begun. Forging The Future The future of Machinima has arrived! Here is a huge project started by our Art Department's Gryffin in association with THFE and ourselves. He's got a lot of members voice acting for him and we're backing this Machinima 100%. It's about 5 Spartans that get sent to Earth to find Monitors that landed there after Requiem exploded. Tons of work being put into this project. Find out all you need to know, even a debut date, by clicking the banner. 343 Industries Community Forge Project By this point you should know what the CFP is and if you don't then read about it here. Post some ideas for our community in the CFP Idea Discussion thread here. You Will Partake in the Community Forge Project... Featured Map I've finally come across a map that I liked so much from seeing the screenshots that I've decided to make the Featured Map sub-section return. The above screenshot is a view of the kitchen from a distance in Astiir's Modern Apartment. The construct is Forge aesthetics at its finest and well worth a look. Truly a good idea and well executed. More detailed screenshots in the map thread, well done Astiir. You better know where to find that by now. GAMING NEWS Games with Gold October The free games for the month of October on Xbox Live are: Magic and Might: Clash of Heroes - a puzzle RPG and... Halo 3 - Greatest Halo game ever made and if you're name is Beckoninzebra1 then you are downloading this on the 16th and playing it! News by adamj! Snipers Update: The Ark and Opticon The Fated Fire has announced that he and SaltyKoalaBear's maps will be making it into the next Team Snipers update. His map is The Ark (seen above) and Salty's is Opticon. These are two awesome competitive maps. See all of the screenshots and read the post by The Fated Fire by clicking the screenshot above.
