  1. Have you heard of Live Action Role Playing, or LARP for short? I was just wondering if anyone here has done it or does it now. If you have no idea what I am talking about, let me give you some info. According to Wikipedia, LARP is, "A live action role-playing game (LARP) is a form of role-playing game where the participants physically act out their characters' actions. The players pursue goals within a fictional setting represented by the real world while interacting with each other in character. The outcome of player actions may be mediated by game rules or determined by consensus among players. Event arrangers called gamemasters decide the setting and rules to be used and facilitate play." The game is very popular in the US and there are many different groups. Here is an example video of a LARP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPgOkDe3_R0 If you want more info on it let me know and if you have done it before, let me know as well because I'd love to know where you play. Thanks!
