  1. Made this up today, it's a Grifball map I hasted together in a few hours, I don't think it's perfect, I haven't played it with anyone yet, though I think it works just fine. I just have the basic four initial spawn, and respawn points on either side of the map. It's basically a room that has a circuit board theme, with black and green. I think it looks pleasant. If you download it, and play it, please inform me if there is any issue with the spawning, or if there is anyway I can improve upon it. 2. "Many dangers lie within these toxic sewers like poisonous gases, corrosive acid, and radiation. Sounds like a great place to play grifball!" A Standard-Size Grifball Map by: ARC GuiltySpark Gamertag: ARC GuiltySpark Player Count: 8 Download Link: Click! Layout Design The layout of this grifball map has everything standard size to matchmaking maps for the best play experience. The size of the court is 260W x 310L (not including the initial spawn area and the side pipes). At the beginning players run in from a pipe tunnel outside the map which is unplayable after the intro. There are also stacks of two pipes on each side of the map that players can jump on and run along. Aesthetic Design The theme for this map was an industrial underground sewers that holds acid or toxic waste. The map uses a 3 tier platform style which is a hard platform, pipes in between each platform, and cables in between each pipe. There is one big pipe running down the middle of the court with acid underneath. There are two big platforms beside the pipe and another set of platforms with more acid and pipes underneath. Two tunnels are at each end of the map where players initially spawn and run in from. In the middle of the map there is another big tunnel that leads up to the surface with light shining through it and on to the court. another series of pipes run along the ceiling. The rest of the map is made of a decaying yellow brick. On one side there is a whole in the wall with acid dripping down the side. The map has lots of cool sounds and lighting effects to immerse you in the environment. There are also special details added around the map like warning decals on the floor and walls as well as barrels and dead bodies floating in the acid beneath.
  3. Gamertag: FatAussieFatB0y (The 0 is a number and not a letter) Map Name: Ice Cream Men Gamemode: Grifball Minimum Players: 8 Players Maximum Players: 12 Players Description of the Map: Ice Cream Men, two factories split by road, a conflict ever lasting and a bomb. Get ready for some serious fun. Ice Cream Men plays with the base Grifball gamemode, this doesn't mean it plays like a base Grifball map. Ice Cream Men is different. Elevation for line of sight, Warthogs to provide faster gameplay, Gravity Lifts that can sling people halfway across the map towards the ball spawn. Just a few differences that make Ice Cream Men unique to any other Grifball map. Pictures of the Map:
  4. Challenge your friends to a 1v1 Beer Pong Match. In this match up, we have 10 super sized party cups per side, and your unique throwing skills. Here is my first Halo minigame, Beer Pong. When I heard the Firefight update had party cups in forge, I set my mind to creating this map. Although it's a simple idea, the execution was not as easy as it first sounded. First off I'd like to thank everyone who stopped by to check out my map, and give it a bookmark, or even a shout. This took loads of time actually, and I'm satisfied with how it turned out. The way Halo 5 Beer Pong works is like normal Beer Pong, the only twist is that you get to take your partners cups away when you score on one of them. You use a color-coded identification system to know which cups your taking away. This is the only way I found the game mode would work. And yes, I tried to script removable goal pads and cups. -Yoink- it, it's fun to take away your friends cups. Don't forget to download my 'Beer Pong' custom Game Mode as well or you're going to have a bad time. Thanks for reading and see ya guys next time. To 343: I put something for adults in your Rated T game, you mad barvos? Play Ball. -AFTM Reclaimer Follow me on Twitter @ForgeAndReclaim for my Forging Updates!
  5. Here is the newest map i have posted on forge hub and would love to get a feature for it on you tube, everything you will need to know about the map s on my forge hub post on this link http://www.forgehub.com/maps/rift-ball.2534/
  6. Well here is my first (complete and working) map. I have a few others made but they are either broken or need more work. There may be some issues with it, none that I'm aware of, but if any arise let me know. If there are any improvements I can make to the map or this post, just say it. Ascension Gametypes: Grifball Player Count: 8 Map Description: Ascension is a Grifball map for a maximum of 8 players and a minimum of 4 players. It is set in the Forge canvas of Parallax. The walls, pillars and glass for the floor are coloured on each side to match that teams colour. The boundary glass is merged with the walls to eliminate that pesky wall walking. The gametype for this map is standard Grifball. To download this map, you can go to my GT (TyroneKing 343i) and get the map from my files.
  7. CaptainDireWolf (2-16 players, red vs. blue teams) Gametype: Broomsticks, basically grifball but able to throw the ball to score (ricochet) Welcome to Quidditch! This is obviously a tribute to the wizard world of Harry Potter with one quaffle, multiple flying bludgers, and the golden snitch that spawns late into the match. You can choose either to play as Gryffindor (Red Team) or Ravenclaw (Blue Team). Don't choose another team color or it won't work! If there is more interest in playing as the other teams (Slytherin and Hufflepuff) I may add them in a future update. (Good for 2-16 players; play as chasers, beaters, keepers, or the seeker) Sadly you can't ride brooms as welding baskets to banshees would be very clunky... trust me, I've tried. Sooooo you’ll be flying around (i.e. traversing very smooth, undulating, invisible floors) trying to grab the quaffle ball mid-air and throw it through the opposing elevated hoops to score (Yay Ricochet gametype!). Watch out for the multiple bludgers as they fly around trying to impede your way. After two minutes the golden snitch pops into view and flies about. I also tried to eliminate spawn kills (which sometimes happens in grifball) by having players "fly in" from outside the field. *Apparently you can't script an objective object (the ball) so it could fly around like a snitch to be caught). So as of yet, you can only win by scoring with the quaffle 10 times, which is still fun. So the golden snitch simply became an aesthetic piece. With that, I certainly welcome any additional suggestions for adding or fixing or removing anything to make this map even better, as I’m an avid Harry Potter fan and try to keep everything as close to the original as possible (within the budget of course). Please click the download button on the forgehub page: http://www.forgehub.com/maps/nimbus-2000-grifball.1664/ and add my GT: CaptainDireWolf and download Nimbus 2000 Grifball (from BOOKMARKS!) to enjoy the map. Safe Flying!

  10. Alright, so I was playing Grifball, as it gets you the most credits on Halo Reach, and I am trying to become a Brigadier. In the second round, I believe, two of my team mates quit, as well as a member of the enemy team. I was left with a team member that goes by the name, who I did not know was friends with the other players on the other team,(sorry, I don't know why the font changed, this is my first post) and took the opportunity to troll me. I thought that we might have a chance of winning, but then he betrayed me. I thought it might have just been an accident, until the enemies, as well as, began to spawn-kill me. I tried to take a stand, as I heard that you would get a high credit jackpot during bull-crap positions like that one. After being spawn-killed numerous times(and mostly by my own team mate, too) I began to randomly smash my gravity hammer. I managed to get a double kill, but then again betrayed. What made me mad was that I took the ball, and was betrayed by my own team mate, and he picked up the ball, and dropped it so the other team could pick it up . I dare not quit, I wanted to show them that I could take being trolled. They began to toy me, jumping around, trying to provoke me, and crouching next to the bomb plate, then dropping the bomb on it. Now thinking on it, I probably should have quit, as they were getting sprees and lots of credits, as well as probably boosting their commendations, which may have earned them about 12,000 credits, whereas I only earned a measly 3000. I wish that 343 were to know about this, and I know that I sound like I'm whining, and 343 is working hard on their next Halo, but I know that somebody out there makes sure nobody hacks or cheats, and I consider this cheating. I think that they should be punished, especially, I maybe I should get a small reward. Well, that wraps up my post, Merry Christmas!
  11. DOWNLOAD HALODROME Canvas: Impact Players: 8 - 12 Gametypes: Slayer CTF Oddball KoTH Extraction Regicide Grifball Ricochet Supported Gametypes: Ricochet (primary), CTF, Extraction, KoTH, Oddball, Team and FFA Slayer, and (just for kicks) Grifball. Description: Halodrome is the bigger brother of Minidrome, designed for the 343i Ricochet Forge Contest. There are four primary routes between the bases: upper, lower, and each side. Both sides directly connect to upper mid and lower mid, allowing the routes to be used in different combinations. All ball spawns occur along the midline of the map on the upper level. While upper mid has good sightlines to the bases and the exit of the lower routes, it is completely exposed by design, with protected approaches from the green and gold lifts. Goals: Since Ricochet allows players to score from a distance, a special goal was designed for that gametype (scoring from the midline was trivially easy with only the CTF setup). The goal makes scoring quite difficult from the center mid bridges or platforms (at least, in testing no one was able to do it in-game), but does allow reasonably easy scoring from behind the Y-crosses on the side routes, and easy scoring anywhere in the arc between the side platforms and basement ramp. It is also possible to score blind from behind the center Y-cross pair on the upper level (above the opening to the basement) and on the ramp up from the basement. During testing, most goals were scored by throws within 10 units of the goal. The difference in the goals is depicted below, with Ricochet pictured first, followed by CTF and Grifball: Ordnance:1x Railgun (lower mid, 140s timer) and 2x Concussion Rifles (wide ramps, one nearer to each base, 130s timers) Weapons:2x Needlers (no extra clips, 100s timers) adjacent to each base, various loadout weapons, frag and pulse grenades. No plasma grenades are on-map. Other Comments:I added Grifball because I could. I don't really have a better reason. And yes, the spawns have been tested . . . you can spawn camp all day long just like in real Grifball. Other Screenshots: And we'll finish up with a screencap of a posthumous Ricochet goal . . . killed in mid-jump to the goal. So close to the +50 . . . yet so far away. DOWNLOAD HALODROME

  14. Jousting by Rabid MidgetMan Map link Gametype link player count: 4, 8, 12, 16 Introduction "What's that you say Rabid? A jousting map without any swords?! Have you gone absolutely mad?!" No good sir, you see they don't use swords in real life jousting either, do they? They use a thing called a lance (aka big stick), hence the name 'Sir Lancelot'. I happen to know Sir Lancelot and he approves of my jousting map. Why listen to him? Because he's good at jousting. How do I know? because if he wasn't he wouldn't 'Lance a lot'. Why? because being bad at jousting hurts. A LOT. Overview In this jousting map, you will find a much more realistic experience, wielding a shotgun rather than a sword gives a more natural range for the 'lance' . There are two teams, many mongooses and a long, straight track. The track is split by a divide (fence) down the middle, red team drives north and on the right whilst the blue team drives south on the left . As the 'horsemen' pass each other, the rider must take a shot at the opposing mongoose across the barrier. A teleporter at the end of the track leads back to the start, ensuring a smooth transition from one 'pass' to the next. A map wide teleporter stops players leaving the spawn area on foot or dismounting while in play. Gameplay The gametype is unlimited lives slayer with increased damage and other small differences. This is a very fun map to play with 3 of your friends (or rivals), but it also works well with 8,12, or 16 players. Plug in your mic and discuss attack plans with your team, just don't forget to cheer when you successfully strike down a challenger Rider: The pump action of your shotgun makes it critical that you time your shot correctly as a miss will leave you vulnerable to attack. It creates a similar feel to grifball, where you must make a compromise between hitting your opponent as soon as they enter your lethal range, but leaving it late enough that you don't waste your shot with a glancing blow. As such, this game takes a lot of precision, skill and practice to master. Driver: The map flows very well if you simply drive forward and stick close to the divide, shooting enemies as they pass. This playstyle is fairly easy, the only challenge being getting as close to the barrier without touching it (grazing the wall causes you to bounce away from it). But you are free to be creative, try different maneuvers like: swooping towards the barrier as an opponent passes, stopping, reversing, changing speeds, accelerating backwards, reversing forwards... Maybe even some dressage?! As the horse you are also responsible for staying as close to or far from friendly horsemen as you see fit. Summary 1) Being bad at jousting hurts-elot 2) Being good at jousting can get you a knighthood 3) Mechanical horses are much softer on the crotch 4) Please download the map + gametype and enjoy playing it!

  18. Gamertag: Rabid Cadaver Map name: UNSC Grifball Stadium Game type: Grifball An Olympic influenced Astro Turf Grifball Arena
  19. Author: Jernst Reborn with help from TurbTastic Gametype: Ultimate Frisbee Map: Ultimate Frisbee Ravine Arena (more coming very soon!!!) Players: 8-16 Teams of 4-7 each work best. Just run around, jump, and use your grenade button to throw! When thinking of new mini-games a few months back, I tried to make an ultimate frisbee gametype because I played in college and still play in PADA and other tournaments around the country. I noticed someone else had created this gametype but it really didn't feel like Ultimate because the ball carrier could move, people could die, the scoring zone was only 1 point, etc... We have created a much more realistic version of Ultimate Frisbee using different feature in Halo 4! Teams start at either side and run to the middle where the frisbee(Grifball) will spawn. There is a soft kill zone in the very middle so people cannot camp this area. In this version the ball carrier cannot move. The ball carrier also gets a trait that lets him jump about 25% higher than everyone else. The object of the game is to pass it to your teammates until you make it to the scoring zone on the other side. The other team tries to intercept it and do the same. If you throw the ball too far and miss your target when no one is near, it will automatically reset to the starting point. The key for letting the ball carrier score at any point in the endzone is that he can jump higher than everyone else. Once you make it to the endzone with the ball, all you have to do is jump and then you teleport to the scoring point above the rest of the court! The new round will then begin with everyone in starting positions. Also the endzones are clearly marked by either red or blue light, so remember you are trying to score in the other teams goal If you do accidentally have the ball and happen to jump in YOUR OWN ENDZONE, fear not, we have a soft kill zone there so you will die and be spawned back on the court. Also if you try to throw the ball from up in this position it will reset. COMMUNICATION IS KEY! Hope you all enjoy the map and gametype! DISC!!!! The Stadium Players rush to the middle to pick up the frisbee The ball carrier can jump slightly higher than everyone else, so time your throws right and aim a little higher than usual! Try to intercept when you can! Blue team scores in the red zone Red ream scores in the blue zone When you jump in the endzone, you teleport here and it automatically scores! If someone gets too close when you have the disc, you can punch them away. Also it will move you a little closer to where they are, which discourages camping the carrier near the endzone. Have fun! Use communication! Be Competitive! Let me know your feedback and I will also be posting more maps for the gametype soon!

  21. I know a lot of people missed Assault in Halo 4. Well, I think I have found a way to bring it back. If you think about it, Grifball was a modified Assault gametype. So, it's possible that we can make Assault in Halo 4 using Grifball as a base gametype. We'd have to change the team weapons, scoring, and Carrier traits--but I believe it's possible. And if it turns out that all if this is a load of headlight fluid, please do not call me a shizno; it's been a while since I've been able to play Halo 4. So I need one of you to build the gametype for me. If the idea works, then hopefully people will realize that 343 didn't give us such a limited game; we just have to use our imagination.
  22. Alright, I didn't see that anywhere so I decided to post it. "Forge Test" playlist (name not final): A rotational hopper featuring small Forge maps such as Relay. Help us test these maps by providing feedback and reporting bugs that will assist us in getting them ready for Matchmaking! Specializations: Pioneer and Pathfinder Specializations unlocked for all players. Week of 1/28 Spartan Ops Episode 7: Five new missions and an accompanying new CG cinematic. Grifball playlist: A rotational hopper featuring everybody’s favorite virtual sport. Catch the disease! Specializations: Engineer and Stalker Specializations unlocked for all players. Week of 2/4 Spartan Ops Episode 8: Five new missions and an accompanying new CG cinematic. Team Doubles playlist: A rotational hopper for those of you that like action of the 2 vs 2 variety. Specializations: Rogue and Tracker Specializations unlocked for all players. As you can see, Specializations will eventually appear in the game for the rest of the players. Also, some all-time favorites will return, such as Grifball and Team Doubles. Plus, small Forge maps will be available in War games matchmaking. And, of course, don't forget about the rest of Spartan Ops season! Again I apologize if it has been posted already.
  23. I'm getting a little bored of Halo 4 and to keep my interest up, I plan to start a new Grifball league. Considering how there are much larger leagues already, like the AGLA, it may take a while to really get going, but this could be great if I get enough support. Anyone want to join me? Info about the league: Name: National Grifball League (NGL) Teams: I currently want to start the league with 8 teams separated into 2 conferences. Each team will have one captain, who is in charge of managing their team's roster and lineup. Captains can cut and trade players, but they must notify the league's commissioner, who would be me. Each team must have a minimum of 4 players, with up to 2 reserves/backups. All new players entering the league must notify me of their arrival and which team they're joining. No one can join the league beyond the trade deadline. The trade deadline date will be made at the start of every season. They will be able to join in the offseasons if they couldn't join in time. Season: I am planning a 40 game schedule as of now. I know, it sounds like a lot, but it is possible that multiple games can be played in one day. Every team will play their conference teams 8 times each, totaling 24 games, and the 4 opposite conference teams 4 times each. You'll play each team less and less if I get enough players to expand the league. Playoffs: With only 8 teams, everyone will be in the playoffs. The first and fourth seed teams will make up one series and the second and third the other. The first round is a best of 5 series, the conference finals are a best of 7, and the championship series is also a best of 7. Arenas: Teams can create their own arenas, however, they must meet a certain set of regulations and standards. Said regulations will be put up once I have finalized them. Rules: It's Grifball, should be self explanatory. However, there will be a small change. Rather than having a score limit, there will only be a 10 minute time limit, with unlimited scoring. Fun stuff: I may not implement this, but if I do, I'd love to have an all star game, based off of votes from players and fans (granted this ever develops a fanbase). Awards will be given to the league's MVP and the championship team. I've already done plenty of thinking on this, as you can tell, but I still have plenty left to get done. If you have any suggestions or wish to help me get the league started, please let me know! Also, if you want to join as a player and wish to be a captain, it's first come, first serve. 24. I forge on a weekly basis when I play halo, but I was wondering why dont we have the insane gametype from reach. That was a pretty cool gametype especially halo ball. I have many ideas for sports gametypes and maps if we can only throw the halo 4 grifball into a goal. Ive already created a working copy of football in halo 4, but now im trying to create baseball, handball or anything else. Forging would be 100x better if we can reallly throw the ball into a goal or have it hit into a goal with the hammer just saying.
  25. I just made a new simple gametype. It's got all the traits of grifball, but instead of planting a bomb, you just run around and hold the ball. Add in passing, and it's the most fun thing I've ever created. It's on my fileshare, or you can add me or message me if you want to see it. I kind of want to make this a big thing, so if you could download it and show it off for me, that would be amazing. Also, is there an online file share like there was with the last 2 games? That would be helpful.
