  3. Need For Speed Rivals, released as a current generation launch racing simulator last year by EA, Criterion, and Ghost Games is getting a 'Complete Edition' this October with all DLC! When you thought of the next generation leap last year, you probably imagined games like Assassin's Creed, Killzone, Dead Rising, and even Forza, one game not well known last year however was the return to the popular racing franchise, Need For Speed Rivals. IGN.com reports that if you were one of those people last year, now is a good chance to try the game with Need For Speed Rivals: Complete Edition! The bundle will release this October, the 21st in North American and the 24th in Europe, and include 6 different add-on packs. These packs include the Ferrari Edition Special Complete Pack, Simply Jaguar Complete Pack, Loaded Garage Pack, the Koenigsegg Agera One Pack, Concept Lamborghini Pack, and the Complete Movie Pack. All of these include a total of over 11 different cars (excluding the Loaded Garage Pack) each with two variations, the Police and Racer versions, locking in at about 22 cars in the first five alone. This pack will release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC strictly through Origin, meaning no retail PC version. If you had your hopes up for a Need For Speed sequel/prequel this year, I'm sad to report you'll have to wait another year, but this should tame your Need For Speed lust for another year. View attachment: need-for-speed-rivals-walkthrough.jpg Are you picking this pack up if you haven't bought Rivals already? Inform me and everyone else reading below! Thanks for reading this article!

  6. What do you guys think about this, and possibly why do you (people that have played Bad Company) want back from the old Bad Company? What would YOU like to see? Eurogame sat down with DICE to discuss a possibility that Battlefield: Bad Company 3 will come into effect, possibly making the best decision in their whole damn company. This is the conversation that Eurogamer and CEO Karl-Magnus Troedsson had, discussing how they "don't know how to deliver it": --------------------- Concerning a new Bad Company installment, it’s not a matter of DICE ignoring their fanbase, they’re just unsure what made Bad Company so popular, CEO Karl-Magnus Troedsson explained in a recent interview with Eurogamer. “Some people say they found the multiplayer controls faster and more direct,” Troedsson told Eurogamer. “Some people liked the single-player and the characters and the humor. People love different things about it. It’s starting to almost get to that place where, if we were to make a sequel to Bad Company, what would than even imply? “It’s scary to go back and try to remake an old fan favorite when actually no-one can really put their finger on what it is people love. Bringing back the characters and creating a great single-player out of that, sure, I can understand that. “But some people say this: the Bad Company 2 multiplayer is the best you’ve ever done. Okay, why is that? It’s hard for people to articulate what that is, which is actually hard for us. It would be hard to remake something like that. Can we do it? Of course. We have our theories when it comes to the multiplayer.” It sounds to me—and you can call my crazy here, Karl—that both the single-player and multiplayer were so good that the Bad Company games offered different things to a multitude of players. Maybe the reason you can’t put your finger on what made it great and people keep giving you different answers is that you appealed to such a wide audience, for once, that a lot of different people found something to love. Definitely not something that can be said for Battlefield 3 or 4. Troedsson closed by offering Bad Company fans the faintest glimmer of hope, saying the sub-brand is not dead and it can be revived—unless it’s suddenly revealed that Preston, Sweetwater, Haggard, and Sarge have suddenly become the funniest boys in blue since Steve Gutenberg and gang in Police Academy—but those fans will definitely have to wait at least a little while longer. ---------------------- Source: http://www.egmnow.com/articles/news/ea-dice-knows-fans-want-more-bad-company-not-sure-how-to-deliver-it/ *I KNOW THIS IS A DIRECT COPY! I DID TO FOR YOU GUYS SO YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE SITE!* Your Welcome

  8. Didn't Mention it earlier, but this is for Battlefield 4. So DICE has rolled out a new update that is undoubtedly supposed to fix this issue.. Yeah, I know, never ending process, but it was probably the most hyped update to date. This update contained something that all players are rejoicing about, and the new rebound faith in DICE. People have been seeing a noticeable difference in the update, with all the delay being fixed and all. Players are happy about a DICE NET CODE patch. Yes, you read it right, a DICE NET CODE patch. People all over have be making jokes about how DICE needs to fix the game, and then they say right after, "WOAH!" Personalty, I am extremely excited to play the game now, and will not worry about how I apparently got shot through a wall. So come and enjoy the new patch, as DICE actually did something. Hue Hue Hue Link to the Battlelog, that explains what they did, and how they tested it. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/news/view/new-netcode-update-rolling-out/ EDIT: And that's all I need to say. Thank You for reading!
  9. EA has released a list of 50 games that will soon be losing online support. This following list is of games that will be losing online support in late June due to the recent announcement of GameSpy's closing: As you can see, a very large number of games on many platforms will be losing online support, this is very disheartening news to many gamers. EA has released an official statement along with the announcement of this list saying: "Since GameSpy’s announcement, our teams have been working to evaluate options to keep services up and running. Unfortunately, due to technical challenges and concerns about the player experience, we do not have a solution at this time. Online services for EA games on the GameSpy platform will be closed down at the end of June." You can see from this statement that EA is indeed working hard to keep at least some of these games online. Though some of these games were already set to lose their online support due to Nintendo discontinuing their Wi-Fi connection services. What do you think of this News? Will this change in service affect you? Leave us your thoughts in the comment section below. Special thanks to @Zelda for showing me this news! SOURCE:YAHOO GAMES

  11. Star Wars: Battlefront is going to receive a greatly anticipated reboot in 2015 by Dice Studios. I was a huge fan of the Battlefront series and had a lot of fun blasting droids and rebels alike. So I've compiled a top 3 list of battles I'd like to see debut or return in the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront game! The Battle of Umbara This battle debuted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The battle consists of the 501st battalion (normally led by Anakin Skywalker, but led by Pong Krell because of the situation) and the 212th attempting to take the capital of Umbara. I think the plot from this battle would be great for the campaign and the map would be a quick favorite for matchmaking. The map would be very dark, neccessating the use of night vision. There are many vehicles and weapons (some exclusive to this battle) that could be implemented, and would be excellent for a large sized map. The Battle of Kashyyk Another large scale map, The Battle of Kashyyyk looked absolutely beautiful in Battlefront 2. I liked how the map played, and it featured some very fun sniper spots, and excellent tactical gameplay. I'd like to see this map reappear in the upcoming game, but I'd like to see it expanded even more to fit the depiction of the battle portrayed in Episode III. The Battle of Hoth The battle of Hoth almost doesn't even need a description. Held in high regard among those in the Star Wars community, this map is a fast favorite. The huge AT-AT's seem to be quite the advantage at first, but this is balanced due to how slow they move and how easily they can be destroyed if a skilled pilot is around. I want this to be an exact remake of the map from Battlefront II. It's already perfect, nothing needs to be changed. That's my Top 3, list your Top 3 below along with a description, and why you want them below.
  12. EA announced a Multi-player beta for Medal of Honor warfighter in early October. A new mode called "Hot Spot". This BETA so far is only been announced for Xbox 360 users. Read below for more details From: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/homepage.php? By: Andy Robinson for CVG UK The beta will feature a brand new multiplayer mode called HotSpot, in which players attack and defend randomly-selected locations on the Sarajevo Stadium map in Bosnia. Those who download the beta will be awarded with 60 minutes of Double XP when the full game launches, says EA. Fans will also be able to unlock the new Linkin Park "CASTLE OF GLASS" music video upto five days early by downloading the beta and hitting the three million download mark. EA revealed the first Medal of Honor: Warfighter DLC earlier this month. The map pack is a tie-in with Sony Pictures Entertainment's Zero Dark Thirty, a Hollywood movie based on the real-life special forces mission to capture or kill Osama bin Laden.
  13. EA has confirmed that they will be scrapping online passes for all of their future titles due to negative feedback, so those who usually buy preowned games will not have to fork out extra cash in order to access their online features. This article is from GamingBolt The passes, which require a one-time activation to access online content, have been scrapped due to negative user feedback, according to EA senior director of corporate communications John Reseburg. "Yes we're discontinuing Online Pass," Reseburg told GamesBeat. "None of our new titles will include that feature." The passes have been controversial due to their restricting access to content for second-hand buyers. Once an Online Pass has been used, the second-hand user is required to purchase another pass before accessing the relevant content, which is usually the title's multiplayer features. But no longer. "Initially launched as an effort to package a full menu of online content and services, many players didn't respond to the format," Reseburg continued. "We've listened to the feedback and decided to do away with it moving forward." "We're still committed to creating content and services that enhance the game experience well beyond the day you first start playing." EA titles that have implemented the Online Pass include Battlefield 3 and SSX. Ubisoft and Sony have also used Online Passes for titles including Far Cry 3 and Starhawk. It was announced last month that EA's forthcoming shooter Fuse will not require an Online Pass to access multiplayer features.
