  1. So, you are probably dead of you haven't already watched the trailer, but here it is anyway, a good starting point: Who excited? In an time where every game is moving more and more into sci-fi it is great to see a AAA game take a step back, not only to set the game in the past but in WW1 which hasn't ever really been fleshed out in major videogames is great, but I suppose that is proably everyones point of view. I am cautiously optimistic at the moment, seeing as we have only seen a 90 second trailer and have a few interviews where DICE have given vague answers to easy enough questions. It will be great if the game wasn't focused on America, not to knock their role in the War but they certainly weren't the only players and they did join pretty late. The main art does have a Harlem Hellfighter on it though so I'm not overly confident I'll get exact;y what I want. As long as they don't act like there were 'good' guys and 'bad' guys, WW1 was more complicated than that. Apparently there will be a campaign, which is great. Something like a series of different stories following soldiers across varies battles. Gallipoli is what I want, get me a kickass ANZAC hat.
  2. The Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack will be free to all those who pre-order EA's Medal of Honor Warfighter, and here's a new trailer offering a sneak peek. Read below for more details Source: According to EA, "The Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack is inspired by a decade-long manhunt in some of the world's most dangerous places: Darra Gun Market and Chitral Compound." Describing the two maps, the publisher says, "Darra is home to dozens of back-alley shops and self-taught machinists making guns by hand. Chitral is highly inaccessible and was thought to be one of Bin Laden's hideouts -- only those with the capabilities of total surprise will successfully penetrate the compound." 3. What do you guys think about this, and possibly why do you (people that have played Bad Company) want back from the old Bad Company? What would YOU like to see? Eurogame sat down with DICE to discuss a possibility that Battlefield: Bad Company 3 will come into effect, possibly making the best decision in their whole damn company. This is the conversation that Eurogamer and CEO Karl-Magnus Troedsson had, discussing how they "don't know how to deliver it": --------------------- Concerning a new Bad Company installment, it’s not a matter of DICE ignoring their fanbase, they’re just unsure what made Bad Company so popular, CEO Karl-Magnus Troedsson explained in a recent interview with Eurogamer. “Some people say they found the multiplayer controls faster and more direct,” Troedsson told Eurogamer. “Some people liked the single-player and the characters and the humor. People love different things about it. It’s starting to almost get to that place where, if we were to make a sequel to Bad Company, what would than even imply? “It’s scary to go back and try to remake an old fan favorite when actually no-one can really put their finger on what it is people love. Bringing back the characters and creating a great single-player out of that, sure, I can understand that. “But some people say this: the Bad Company 2 multiplayer is the best you’ve ever done. Okay, why is that? It’s hard for people to articulate what that is, which is actually hard for us. It would be hard to remake something like that. Can we do it? Of course. We have our theories when it comes to the multiplayer.” It sounds to me—and you can call my crazy here, Karl—that both the single-player and multiplayer were so good that the Bad Company games offered different things to a multitude of players. Maybe the reason you can’t put your finger on what made it great and people keep giving you different answers is that you appealed to such a wide audience, for once, that a lot of different people found something to love. Definitely not something that can be said for Battlefield 3 or 4. Troedsson closed by offering Bad Company fans the faintest glimmer of hope, saying the sub-brand is not dead and it can be revived—unless it’s suddenly revealed that Preston, Sweetwater, Haggard, and Sarge have suddenly become the funniest boys in blue since Steve Gutenberg and gang in Police Academy—but those fans will definitely have to wait at least a little while longer. ---------------------- Source: http://www.egmnow.com/articles/news/ea-dice-knows-fans-want-more-bad-company-not-sure-how-to-deliver-it/ *I KNOW THIS IS A DIRECT COPY! I DID TO FOR YOU GUYS SO YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE SITE!* Your Welcome
  4. Didn't Mention it earlier, but this is for Battlefield 4. So DICE has rolled out a new update that is undoubtedly supposed to fix this issue.. Yeah, I know, never ending process, but it was probably the most hyped update to date. This update contained something that all players are rejoicing about, and the new rebound faith in DICE. People have been seeing a noticeable difference in the update, with all the delay being fixed and all. Players are happy about a DICE NET CODE patch. Yes, you read it right, a DICE NET CODE patch. People all over have be making jokes about how DICE needs to fix the game, and then they say right after, "WOAH!" Personalty, I am extremely excited to play the game now, and will not worry about how I apparently got shot through a wall. So come and enjoy the new patch, as DICE actually did something. Hue Hue Hue Link to the Battlelog, that explains what they did, and how they tested it. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/news/view/new-netcode-update-rolling-out/ EDIT: And that's all I need to say. Thank You for reading!
  5. Star Wars: Battlefront is going to receive a greatly anticipated reboot in 2015 by Dice Studios. I was a huge fan of the Battlefront series and had a lot of fun blasting droids and rebels alike. So I've compiled a top 3 list of battles I'd like to see debut or return in the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront game! The Battle of Umbara This battle debuted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The battle consists of the 501st battalion (normally led by Anakin Skywalker, but led by Pong Krell because of the situation) and the 212th attempting to take the capital of Umbara. I think the plot from this battle would be great for the campaign and the map would be a quick favorite for matchmaking. The map would be very dark, neccessating the use of night vision. There are many vehicles and weapons (some exclusive to this battle) that could be implemented, and would be excellent for a large sized map. The Battle of Kashyyk Another large scale map, The Battle of Kashyyyk looked absolutely beautiful in Battlefront 2. I liked how the map played, and it featured some very fun sniper spots, and excellent tactical gameplay. I'd like to see this map reappear in the upcoming game, but I'd like to see it expanded even more to fit the depiction of the battle portrayed in Episode III. The Battle of Hoth The battle of Hoth almost doesn't even need a description. Held in high regard among those in the Star Wars community, this map is a fast favorite. The huge AT-AT's seem to be quite the advantage at first, but this is balanced due to how slow they move and how easily they can be destroyed if a skilled pilot is around. I want this to be an exact remake of the map from Battlefront II. It's already perfect, nothing needs to be changed. That's my Top 3, list your Top 3 below along with a description, and why you want them below.

  9. Adding 4x official servers, answering the fans call. Tired of getting kicked from rented servers? Well, now you don't have to deal with that. READ BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS FROM: http://www.computera...m/homepage.php? BY: Tom Ivan "We have heard your wish" DICE has boosted the number of official Battlefield 3 servers on consoles. "We have heard your wish for more official DICE servers," the studio said. "As of now, we have effectively quadrupled them on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. "Note that you will still be able to get quick matched into any ranked server. For the best results if you want an official DICE server, please refer to the manual server browser and enter 'DICE' as a search term. "If you go to the Server information screen, all official DICE servers will have the owner set to 'DICE'. Remember that you can favorite servers that you like so you can easily find them again on your next session." In April DICE enabled Battlefield 3 players to begin renting their own servers for multiplayer games. Official DICE servers soon began dropping off the radar on PS3 and Xbox 360 because they had been rented out to players, although it didn't take long before public opinion led to their reintroduction. Last week EA confirmed a Battlefield 3 Premium Edition release date of September 11 in the US and September 13 in Europe. It'll include the game, all Battlefield Premium content (including five themed DLC packs), and a 'Multiplayer Head-Start Kit' which automatically unlocks 15 different weapons, gadgets and vehicle upgrades.
