  1. With the ongoing PC issues plaguing Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady has provided an update on one upcoming patch which will fix a few major bugs. Batman: Arkham Knight, the final chapter in the franchise created by Rocksteady, recently released on current generation consoles and PC, with the PC version hosting a plethora of massive issues forcing the game to be pulled from Steam entirely. Since then, Rocksteady reports through IGN.com that they have been working hard to patch the game and are making great progress. They revealed an interim patch will be releasing within the next two weeks if all goes according to plan, and that it is currently being tested. A representative stated, "We are happy to confirm that we are now putting the first interim patch into testing. If all goes well, we expect to issue the patch in the next few weeks. We’ll be sure to report back in the next two weeks on how the testing is coming along." The update will include performance fixes, enhanced game settings, etc. The full list of fixes can be read in the article linked above, but it is unlikely this will be the final patch considering Rocksteady's list of other lower priority issues. Batman: Arkham Knight is available for purchase now on Xbox One and PS4, and can still be bought physically for PC. 2. It seems that Batman: Arkham Knight, which releases this June, will be getting a hefty Season Pass with a ton of content! Most gamers who were excited for Batman: Arkham Knight were shocked to find out recently that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. will be doing a $40 Season Pass for the game. Warner Brothers, however, quickly responded and let loose a plethora of details on what makes the Season Pass worth the money. GameSpot.com has the details, as the Season Pass will apparently include 3 new story packs and 3 new skin packs, one of which is ideal for classic fans. Batgirl: A Matter of Family - A prequel expansion that will take place in Batgirl's past, allowing you to play as her for the first time in a new story arc set in a new location. The Season of Infamy - This expansion will allow you to play as Batman again in a set of missions pitting you against legendary villains from the past that will feature all new gameplay mechanics. Gotham City Stories - The stories of Batman's allies are now playable expanding their lore in the game and taking you from both before and after the events of Arkham Knight. Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks - This pack will give you access to legendary versions of the Batmobile all with different themes and styles and all will be drivable on the game's numerous race tracks which also align to the vehicle's signature era. Crimefighter Challenge Maps - A variety of new maps that utilize the unique crime-fighting styles of Batman and his allies in the game's story. Character Skins - A variety of skins from across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman. View attachment: bet you aint readin this.jpg Warner Bros. has stated that they don't want to give away all details yet, meaning there could be more expansions awaiting us in the future. I am really excited for all the new stuff available with this, and may just have to pick it up when I can. What are your thoughts on this Season Pass, is it too excessive? Let me know down below! Thanks for reading!

Ori and the Blind Forest Delayed Until 2015 More great looking games being delayed, more money not leaving my wallet, more sadness as I look at my Xbox One and PS4 with buyer's remorse. GameInformer.com has the story, as it's been confirmed that Ori and the Blind Forest won't be coming for a little while. This is the official quote, “While we’re extremely excited for all of you to get your hands on Ori and the Blind Forest as soon as possible, we made the decision together with our partners at Microsoft Studios that we’ll need just a little more time in order to add a final layer of polish to – what we hope – will be an unforgettable gaming experience.” The game will be available sometime in early 2015, when exactly though is up in the air. Ori and the Blind Forest is exclusive to Xbox and PC, so if you're a PlayStation user you'll have to fork over for one of the platforms it's on. If you haven't played Sunset Overdrive yet and want to try the game to see how it is, I have some fantastic news for you! IGN.com has passed along the good news that the game is free today if you have Xbox Live Gold. 6. Rocksteady and Warner Brother's new conclusion to the highly praised trilogy, Batman: Arkham Knight, now has a confirmed release date and new editions! Fans of Batman have been seething at the teeth for information about Rocksteady's conclusion to the Arkham Trilogy, Arkham Knight, if you're one of them I have good news and bad news. The good news first, Amazon.com listed two new editions of Arkham Knight today, the Limited Edition and the Batmobile Edition. The Limited Edition goes for $99.99 and contains the game, a finely detailed Steelbook case of Batman himself and the Batmobile, a DC comic for Batman, an Artbook, a Skin Pack unlocking New 52 skins, and the centerpiece of the edition, a 12 inch statue of Batman himself towering over Gotham, with a plaque below reading 'The Gotham Knight'. The Batmobile Edition, running for $199.99, includes all of this except the Batman statue, replacing it with a larger state of the Batmobile. The Limited Edition is still available on the market, but the Batmobile Edition is unfortunately sold out. View attachment: Arkham-Knight-Limited-Edition.png Finally, the bad news. If you were looking forward to the game early next year, you're going to have to wait a little while, as the game will launch on the 2nd of June, 2015. While the game was originally planned for an October 2014 release, it was pushed back nearly a year later, likely due to more polish needing to be put on the game itself. This release date seems odd, as Batman: Arkham Origins was released in October of 2013 and Arkham City was in October of 2011 as well. Arkham Asylum was the only one to be released near this day, being released in August of 2009. Nevertheless if you're looking to pre-order expect the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions to be launched worldwide on June 2nd, 2015. View attachment: BxBdyUcIMAA9ll4-600x350.jpg Are you picking up a special edition of the game? Are you disappointed it is being delayed? Sound off below! Thank you for reading today!

Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer Released Batman: Arkham Knight, the fourth and final game in the Arkham Franchise, is expected to release this fall in October, and we recently got our first glimpse of in-game content rather then just High Definition screenshots. On Xbox's channel, a trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight was released, showcasing a few new things. In the trailer, called "Evening the Odds", we got our first glimpse of in-game scenes with Two-Face and Batman, and our first look at Scarecrow and Rocksteady's new villain, the Arkham Knight. We also see some scenes of the Batmobile and it's ability to drive through the streets and sewers. The video is mostly narrated by Scarecrow, like the first trailer. View attachment: batmanakphoto.jpg What do you think of the new Gameplay trailer; are you buying Arkham Knight? Discuss! Star Wars Attack: Squadrons Cancelled by Disney After the cancellation of the promising Star Wars 1313, fans were skeptical about a new title under the name Attack Squadrons, but with a fairly successful closed beta, we were hopeful that the game would outlast, it did not. According to the official site, StarWarsAttackSquadrons.com, development stopped after careful deliberation about other star wars outlets. They said specifically, "After much consideration, we have decided to cease development so that we can focus on other Star Wars game experiences. We truly appreciate the time you spent engaging in the beta." No other information was released on the unfortunate cancellation, but this could lead to good things such as other ventures in the Star Wars franchise, that will hopefully not be cancelled. View attachment: 1400876695-star-wars-attack-squadrons.jpg Did you see promise in Attack Squadrons, or is this an unintelligent move on Disney's part? Debate below! Thanks for reading, and remember if you like what you've read hit that like button and leave a comment, I'll see you next time Forumians!
