A symmetrical, aesthetically focused arena map supporting Slayer, CTF, Assault and strongholds GT: cuthroat ninja (very edgy I know, I was 11 when I made it) Recommended 4v4 Download link: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-gb/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/map-variants?lastModifiedFilter=Everything&sortOrder=BookmarkCount&page=1&gamertag=cuthroat%20ninja#ugc_halo-5-guardians_xbox-one_mapvariant_cuthroat%20ninja_37b9a1c9-75d7-461b-90dd-be614b7e8d8f
  2. Hey everyone, First post here, thought I'd share one of my maps. It hasn't been tested completely yet. It's set up for a 4v4 but can accommodate 8v8.
  3. Creators: I is Bulimic & I is Dislexic Map Name: Beer Pong Map Gametype: Beer Pong (Assault) Players: 1v1 to 2v2. I've even had 4v4 and it was still fun so as long as it's even teams it should be good. Description: Red vs Blue. Spartan slam the ball into the cups. After you make it, hit the switch to sink the cup. If you get a rim job you die instantly. If you miss the cup completely but still land on the table you can go back to the teleporter in the middle of the table and get another shot (a roll back) however the other team can shoot at you. DON'T SHOOT AT EACH OTHER UNLESS THE TEAM GETS A ROLL BACK.
  4. Gamertag: MJ Rookie Player count: 4-8 players. Works best with 2v2 but plays well with 4v4. Supported Gametypes: All Core gametypes are supported. Map Version: 2.0.0 \\\MAP DETAILS/// The map features a symmetrical layout with weapons featured on both, excluding the central Power Weapons. For power weapons, we have in the Terminal, the Energy Sword. In Court Side (outside), the Sniper. Also in the center as counter Power Weapons, we have a Shot Gun (Upper Tree), Light Riffle (Center Stage), and a Splinter(?) Grenade (Upstage). On the map, there is what we call a "Trial by Fire" on both Red and Blue side. These trials are for power ups in the form of a Damage Boost (Trial of Strength) and a Speed Boost (Trail of Speed). Both equally help dominate the map but are very, very risky to get. Finally the normal weapons on the map consist of AR, H2 BR, SMG, Magnum, Storm Riffle, Frag Grenades and Plasma Grenades. This map focus' on movement, all 3 types of combat (close, medium and long range), and offers plenty of paths to get around the map. The main doors are also able to open and closed to the main Terminal and create a whole different kind of play environment as it shifts. The game is meant for 2v2 through 4v4. This map Inspiration is from Violet Courtyard II which I did in Halo the MCC. That map was inspired by the Firefight map in New Mombasa as well as the first Violet Courtyard created by me in Halo 4. As I gain play testers I will update it more to fix and tweak any bugs, flaws, spawning, etc.. Map name in fileshare will be "VC III: Violet Glass" and description will include version number \\\BACKGROUND/// [Resort info edited by ONI for civilian and public safety] Violet Courtyard III - Violet Glass | Welcome guest to the beautiful resort of Violet Courtyard III, located off the coast of [classified]. 11. Today, me and my friend were having a conversation over Halo 4 about what we, as lifelong players of the Halo series, would love to see in Halo 5. Now that 343 Industries have stripped Halo back to the basics for Halo 4 and started building anew to gain the support of players who may have doubted 343 Industries, maybe it's time they started building again for Halo 5 and started implementing new multiplayer features. And because Xbox One will allow larger multiplayer matches with more players, perhaps they can allow for much larger maps, and thus, larger vehicle. For example, they could introduce a new class of vehicle that we've never seen in multiplayer before - the heavy air assault aircraft. UNSC Vulture Currently, the UNSC has one candidate for introduction in Halo 5 - The Vulture. This beast of a gunship was introduced in Halo: Wars back in 2009. This vehicle is notable for it's impressive forward-mounted chainguns located below the cockpit on either side of the ship. These guns could cut down a small squad in seconds. The Vulture also had two rocket pods located to the rear of the ship on the roof. These were mainly used to destroy other vehicles or structures. If this vehicle were to be implemented into Halo 5, it is agreeable that the rockets will need to be nerfed or scaled down for use against ground based vehicles, but also not strong enough that in a battle, the rocket hog/gauss hog have a chance to severely damage the Vulture. The machine gun turrets, however, may require a player to operate each one seperately from the driver to balance it out. Also, these turrets could be moved elsewhere. I.E, on the side of the ship to provide broad/starboard side defence. The players who operate these gun turrets will also be vulnerable, as they can be killed when their turret is destroyed. Also, the ship's slow maneuvering speed will be a downfall, and make it susceptible to attacks from the Lych, Gauss and Rocket Hogs and even the Wraith. Lich For those who have already played Halo 4, you will know about the Covenant Lich, a large bulky gunship build for ground assaults as seen on Requiem. The Lich is structured similarly to the main chassis of the Scarab, both on the interior and exterior. The Lich it built around 2.5 levels, the second level containing the gundeck with two side-mounted gun turrets The most notable armament of the Lich is the forward mounted plasma beam cannon, seemingly scaled down from the beam located on the Scarab. If this vehicle was to be implemented into the multiplayer, the plasma turret located on the front would have to be scaled down slightly, and repurposed for use against ground units mainly, perhaps making it a turret similar to the Phantom's forward mounted turret. This would be controlled by the pilot. The side mounted gun turrets would be of a similar variety to the normal plasma cannon, making it vulnerable to snipers. This vulnerability would be enforced by the slower speed of the Lich, slower even than the Vulture. However, the maneuverability will be slightly easier than the Vulture. Overall, the Lich will be more vulnerable to the Rocket Hog, Mantis, Vulture and players who board the vehicle from the air, or even from the ground. I urge those who read this suggestion to pledge their support in my ideas. Also, if you would like to provide constructive criticism of any aspects, please ensure that you read every bit of information first. Thank you in advance
  12. GT: DHG The Captain(Map made by DHG MELEE) Map:Assault http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/dhg%20the%20captain/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0&details=031e7e29-1e91-4a5c-b107-72d28dc6a7b2 Game type: Slayer, Flood, Dominion, Regicide(All standard) This map is a mix of close quarters with some vertical advantages here. It has one tower with Sniper rifle for quick sniping at the center. It is filled with corridors and small towers for quick advancement on territory. On one side they a Scorpion with 2 warthogs and mongooses. There are two openings; main opening and a small back door(used for sneaking in on Flood). The main door has a shield with 2 turrets pointing directly at it. Outside the main door is a forest where there lies a warthog, a banshee and a few power weapons. Ordnance are scattered inside the base with both power weapons and common weapons for ammo. Flood spawn first outside base but later re-spawn inside the base. There are 4-5 Dominion bases. Mainly used for both Slayer and Flood.
  13. I know a lot of people missed Assault in Halo 4. Well, I think I have found a way to bring it back. If you think about it, Grifball was a modified Assault gametype. So, it's possible that we can make Assault in Halo 4 using Grifball as a base gametype. We'd have to change the team weapons, scoring, and Carrier traits--but I believe it's possible. And if it turns out that all if this is a load of headlight fluid, please do not call me a shizno; it's been a while since I've been able to play Halo 4. So I need one of you to build the gametype for me. If the idea works, then hopefully people will realize that 343 didn't give us such a limited game; we just have to use our imagination.
  14. Back when Halo Reach and even Halo 3 were the top games being played, I remember that you could hop on, looking for a little chaos, and play some Big Team Battle. My favorite part about this is that it wouldn't just be Slayer. There was CTF, Assault, and Slayer. My favorite by far was CTF. That was the best. Especially on Valhalla in Halo 3. I want to relive those moments in this game. So please 343, put in Big Team Battle not Big Team Infinity Slayer. You can probably keep both playlists if you want. The best would probably be just a playlist dedicated to CTF, Assault, and Oddball (that would be hectic). My friends usually reminisce about Reach and all of the fun we had, loading up in a warthog and storming the enemy base for their flag and trying to leave without being killed. It was so fun and would make Halo 4 a thousand times better if it was put in. Thank you for reading this and I hope you take this into consideration if you make any updates to matchmaking. Keep up the great work, Sam
  15. is it ever going to be added ? I mean why would you not add it ? Only reason I played halo for 7 years read for the teamwork of planning and succeeding with the arm plants or escape missions with flag. If it's not added soon I might as well trade this in for blkops2 .me and my.friends all feel the same way ............and bring back the old school maps like lock out, burial mound , heck even beaver creek. Please from the bottom of one of the biggest halo skirmish / objective lover...bring it all back.
  16. The DMR is the only balanced gun in the game in terms of an "Assault Rifle" category'd gun. The Light Rifle, DMR, and Battle Rifle are your 3 weapons of choice that should every be considered. The Light Rifle takes more shots when not scoped in, less when scoped in; get rid of it. The Battle Rifle is more overpowered than the DMR, and here is why: Although they take the same amount of shots, with and without scope, they are not the same. (I realize that the BR is supposed to be better at a short range, and the DMR is supposed to be better at a long range -- which weapon you use for THIS reason should vary on the map, the gametype, and your playstyle I suppose...) But...Here's why... Let's say there are 2 players going into a 1v1 BR/DMR fight. Player 1 is your average Halo player n00b, where as Player 2 is a professional Halo player that is not such a rookie. Both players are using the DMR with standard settings, everything is normal. Player 1 and Player 2 both hit eachother 4 times apiece. Each player is now 1 shot away (in the head) from dying. Player 2, being more skilled, hits the 5th shot in the head, whereas Player 1 hit Player 2 in the shoulder. ^^^In this situation, Player 2 is awarded the kill, as he should be, for having more "skill", and walks away a "weakened-1shot". In the other way around, Player 1 and Player 2 are both using a Battle Rifle. Both players have again hit eachother in the body 4 times, remaining a headshot away from being awarded a kill. On the 5th shot, Player 2 again hits Player 1 in the head; however, this time, Player 1 has (with his 3 bullets, since battle rifle's shoot 3 bullets in comparison to the DMR's 1) has hit Player 2 in the shoulder, the neck, and the shoulder. In this situation, both players are awarded a kill, and a trade occurs. ^^^In this situation, Player 2 and Player 1 are both awarded a kill, but it is not based off of "skill". I know there is not near as much "spray, spread, swiping", whatever you would like to call it, as there was in Halo 3, but nonetheless, there is still a "spread". I realize that none of these guns will be changed in anyway, and I realize also that it's all there for fun and will remain constant, so people's discussions and complaints are irrelevant, but I figured I would throw these facts out there for those who seem to be upset about these DMR/BR/LR discussions. All in all, don't use the Light Rifle, if you're playing a close range map with lots of hallways, use the BR, otherwise use the DMR. Over all, if you can scope in 24/7 [which you shouldn't be able to], use the LR; but the BR is still the best "Assault Rifle" type gun in the game, for the reasons stated above; unfortunately. <3 p.s. ...the Carbine doesn't count in this discussion. see other posts for details.
  17. Gamertag: HRI Windy AC Map: Basketball Gametype: Basketball Description: The map itself isnt a replica of a Basketball Stadium, so it's pretty basic. Two goals, red team and blue team. 8 on 8 game. The gametype is Assault and it's 10 rounds long. At the start players have a sword and one or two plasma grenades as they race to the center to grab the ball (so alot of carnage at the start). Players have increased jump height so they can reach the goal and "dunk" the "ball" in. Only issue I can see is that each goal is colored with one way shields as to tell you which team they belong to, but after each round the teams switch sides. So it may confuse anyone who is looking to the environment to tell what team they're on. Screenshots
  18. Download Championship: http://halo.xbox.com...etails/30559234 Have a score to settle? This is where you do it. Championship is my take on the ultimate Capture the Flag map. It also works great for Assault. It's perfect for both small and large team games. Each base has strengths and weaknesses. Each base has a set of well balanced, multi-tiered entrances. This map is all about the gameplay. At the heart of the map is the upper level Jump Block Crossing. Below that is the massive Magnet Rink. If you go for the jump block cross, you may end up in the magnet rink. The center of the map is intentionally open to make the players in the magnet rinks inability to jump interesting. The two gates, along with the two ramps on either side of the map add great short and long range conflicts. The light man cannons in front of the bases throw players up and into their opponent's base like old school pirates boarding a schooner. -6x DMR -4x Magnum -4x Plasma Pistol -4x Assault Rifle -2x Needle Rifle -2x Concussion Rifle -2x Needler -2x Grenade Launcher -2x Shotgun -1x Energy Sword -1x Rocket Launcher Thanks for checking out my map, Championship. Have fun!
  19. I have been reading a lot about the Assailt Carbine but I have no idea what it is. I can't find any pictures or even any descriptions. There is however a possiblity that its the MA5K Carbine that's in Halo: Ghosts of Onyx: http://halo.wikia.co...ki/MA5K_Carbine. If anyone finds out anything, like pictures or descriptions, posting it here would be much appreciated. Thanks!
