Microsoft has announced a one-day sale for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” According to a report from the Major Nelson blog on Dec. 13, the company will be discounting several skin and texture packs by 50 percent for a limited amount of time. The sale coincide with the announcement of “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” selling 10 million copies since release. The mash-up packs, which were introduced in a recent title update for the open-world sandbox video game, won’t be a part of the deal. Skin Pack 1 Skin Pack 2 Skin Pack 3 Skin Pack 4 Skin Pack 5 Battle & Beasts Skin Pack Festive Skin Pack Plastic Texture Pack Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack Natural Texture Pack Fantasy Texture Pack “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” came out digitally through the Xbox Live Marketplace on May 9, 2012 and then to retailers on June 4, 2013. Although the console port does not allow user-created mods, 4J Studios developed the skin and texture packs as compensation. The trial versions of the downloadable contents can be played for free but will need to be purchased in order to unlock the full features. The aforementioned 4J Studios development team is also responsible for porting “Minecraft” to the PS3, PS4 and Xbox One home consoles as well as the Playstation Vita handheld system. Games with Gold for April has been announced on Major Nelson's blog and there seems to be a decent line up for next month. Next month Xbox Live Gold members can get their hands on a total of six games rather than the usual 3-4 games. So lets see what Gold members will be getting in April. For the Xbox One Gold users can get Pool Nation FX and Child of Light for free all month long in April. For the Xbox 360 Gold members can download Terraria and Gears of War Judgment from April 1st through April 15th. Then from April 16th Assassins Creed IV Black Flag and Army of Two Devil's Cartel and they will be available to download for free for the remainder of the month. I was playing matchmaking and I noticed once that someone had a Arctic Battle Rifle Skin in Halo 4 and in Halo 3 matchmaking everyone on my team, at least had a Flaming Red Helmet. Is this a hack, or can you get this legitimately? -

Assassins Creed IV Black Flag will not only be bringing back the classic style game play that die hard 'Creed' fans love, but also a new feature that will offer players a whole new way to explore the environment around them. The new underwater swimming experience opens up a vast area for the player to explore and find treasure, upgrades for their ship and other hidden items. You will have the same type of free roam ability under the oceans, seas and lagoons that you find on land except that here you will have no weapons for defense. This means when you encounter sharks, jelly fish, manta rays and various other dangerous sea creatures you must use the environment and stealth to avoid attacks and elude predators because you are the prey underwater. The new experience will allow you to traverse the entire oceans, if you choose, underwater. The one catch is that you need to be wary of your air supply. When diving close to your ship the crew will provide an air bell for use, but in more distant locations you will have to seek out air pockets under rock shelves and in caves. There will be a diverse underwater environment that features ship wrecks, coral reefs, under water caves, lagoons and trenches that are carpeted with lush seaweed beds, sand, clams and filled with all manner of underwater life. In an video interview with producer Arnaud Vaudour, Tom Bramwell of eurogamer.net discusses the new addition of under water exploration in Assassins Creed IV Black Flag.

The last month of the year is almost upon us and that means we'll get our very last free games of 2014 from the Games with Gold program. Lets have a look at the games that will see out 2014. For the Xbox One it is just the one game that is going for free next month and that is Worms Battlegrounds Worms Battlegrounds will be available throughout all of December so get it while you can. As the month of November rolls in so do more free games for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 with the Games With Gold program. First up there will only be one new free game to download for the Xbox One and that is Volgarr the Viking, the latest Indie Game from Microsoft's ID@Xbox program. Crimson Dragon will most likely be rolling over again as Xbox One's second free game. Volgarr the Viking will be available to download for free throughout all of November. After that Red Faction: Guerrilla takes over as Xbox 360's second free game for November and that will be available to download from November 16th - 30th. View attachment: WNW 91314.JPG GTA V Gets Confirmed Release Date on PS4, Xbox One, and PC Grand Theft Auto V, the hype couldn't escape us last year and it likely won't this year either, as GTA V is on the horizon. Polygon.com states that Rockstar has placed a confirmed release date for the current generation versions and the PC versions, though PC users might be disappointed. The game will launch on November 18th on Xbox One and PS4, and launch January 27th on PC. As well as having a flux of better graphics and smoother frame rate, the game will also include new weapons, cars, wildlife, and activities, as well as improvements to damage and weather. If you're one of the four people that cares, there are 100 new songs on the radio station and new mixes. Online will see improvements like an enhanced player count for up to 30 players and the ability to transfer characters across consoles (I.E. PS3 > Xbox One, Xbox 360 > PS4, etc). As well, transferring will unlock bonus content if you completed the prologue on PS3 or Xbox 360. And finally if you pre-order you get an in-game bonus of half a million GTA dollars for single player use and half a million GTA dollars for online. Xbox.com announced the three new bundles available in store October 7th, a Blue Xbox 360 exclusive to Walmart, a Call of Duty Bundle, and a bundle with Kinect. The first bundle is the Call of Duty Bundle releasing this fall, and it includes a 500GB black Xbox 360, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Ghosts, one month of Xbox Live Gold, and the typical controller. This bundle will launch for $249 USD and will be available in the usual stores. GameInformer.com has some news you might like if you're a PayDay fan and a Hotline Miami fan on PC. The two game's developers have teamed up for a neon themed PayDay 2 add-on exclusive to PC. Hello Fellow Gamers of Halo! My GT is Burdened Legacy, I'm the leader for a Military based clan and am looking for two things. The first, recruits. I want to add more people to my clan same as any other. The second, is alliances and rivals. Right now my clan is around 20+ and if your a lone wolf I can respect that. That goes for people in clans already. But, if you'd like to join, message me or Omicron Legacy. We only ask that you change your emblem and something we can identify you easily. Right now, we are focused on Reach, but moving to Halo 4 as well. Aside from being in the clan, when you join, you will be put in a small team to easily know the clan. You will train with this team and you will battle with this team. Each team is around 4 to 6 players and 3 teams make a platoon.
