  1. One of the things i am hoping for in halo 5 is prometian vehicles. I would like to know if there were promethian vehicles, what would they... 1) ...Be named 2) ...Look like 3) ...Have as weapons (i.e. ghost has dual guns, warthog has turret, and mongoose has none) 4) ...Travel by (wheels, hover, fly, treads) 5) ...Have as a UNSC equivelent (i.e. Wraith=Scorpian) 6) ...do when hijacked (i.e. explode like Wraith or taken over like ghost)
  2. Space Base Gamertag: Jaggertp Map: Space Base Game Type: SB Flood Left to die on an abandoned space station it's up to you and your friends to get to the supply pad for evac. Map has multiple tiers so you must holdout in each tier for a certain amount of time and then proceed to move on. Sentry's and stationary vehicles on map as well.   3. Hey guys, just thought I'd come here and share with you all my newest creations in Halo 4. These are all aesthetics that I've invented and they were not actually made in the form of an aesthetics map, but are rather part of my Flood map entitled "Emerald Mine". Through this post I will show you all the Mining-related machines I had in mind while I created them, and then I will follow with pictures that depict my interpretation of these machines. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you can find use for these creations in you maps - although an important note is that some of these vehicles are limited to Erosion only. Gamertag: Robius5991 Map: Emerald Mine (Fileshare) Description: This map is actually a flood map, but features the mining site where the UNSC has found mass veins of Emerald. Throughout the map there are multiple machines that are being use to either dig the mineral, transport it, or analyse it. These are the focus of this post. Pictures: #1: The First machine is a drilling device. For my map I decided to alter it a bit, but the basic sense of it remains: #2: The second machine is a long-reaching crane-like rock crusher. This design stays rather similar within this re-creation: #3. The third machine is a truck that transports all the excess rocks from the digging sites. Once again, the in-game design stays rather similar to the actual machine. #4. The fourth machine is a type of vertical drilling device. This design was rather drastically altered to better fit the set environment. #5. The fifth and final machine is a mineral-testing robot that was completely invented.   5. Over all I love Halo 4 and think 343i has done an incredibly job on the story line, visuals, sounds, etc... This is an amazing Halo game. There are only a few issues that I, and many others, have that are slowly leeching all the fun from the game because they are so annoying and nonsensical. First and foremost: Vehicle friendly fire? Really? 343i... You know the majority of people who play your game online are trolls right? I've played Halo online since Halo 2 and about 3/5 games, in my experience, you will have teammates try to ruin the game for all the other players on their team. Usually you can just ignore it and keep playing, or boot them!... problem solved! However, in Halo 4 this isn't possible. Instead you just end up trying to avoid one or two of your teammates for however long the match lasts so you can keep playing the game and have fun. Now since everyone who plays online games knows that teammates are going to be jerks... why enable them? I love that betrayals are gone (except for splattering, but that kind of makes sense) but why allow teammates to destroy vehicles via friendly fire? I guess I just don't understand the thinking behind it. Second: 343i. In my browsing of the forums and my experience in the game, I see little to no response to the community/fan base and their valid complaints. Why is this? Why don't you listen to your customers? Or at least show that you're listening? I'd rather you act on what we're saying, but even an acknowledgment would be better than being completely ignored. So please listen to the people who provide your paycheck. We're not all mindless and stupid. Third: Why have a daily experience point cap? You promoted the crap out of the game with Mountain Dew and Doritos Double XP, but then you hinder players... seems completely counter-intuitive right? You're not helping anyone by doing that. Since high level players are thrown in with low level players all the time, there's no meaning to rank. So why hinder people who play your game a lot and want to be rewarded if it doesn't hurt any other player? So basically, out of supposed concern for other players, you hinder the players who play a lot, yet allow teammates to destroy vehicles, while promoting the game with Double XP and not letting people get all the XP they want in a day. Overall you're just hindering people and haven't accomplished any of what you claim you're trying to do! Don't get me started on the specializations thing... at least that's behind most of us now. So 343i please just listen to the people you're selling your game to. Take our ideas and thoughts into consideration and I promise Halo 5 will be even better than Halo 4 (which is phenomenal overall).

  7. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed that there are no UNSC aircraft in multiplayer or custom games and I've got to say that disappoints me. I thought the Falcon was good in reach and I would have liked to see the hornet return. I hope they maybe release some in a DLC as 343 have made a great game but some aspects need tweaking.
  8. Does anybody else feel like this game is SO close to being fantastic but is just short of the mark? I love all the new additions like the Mantis, loadouts, Ordnance drops, customizations, abilities, maps, new weapons etc... but I can't help like they took out some of the things I love from older games like Halo 3 when they didn't need to For me, and it's just my humble opinion, they took away too many things of the things I loved in halo 3 (didn't particularly like reach) For example, predictable weapon spawns, skill ranking system, resupply (as an all the time feature, not just an ability) I for one HATE running out of ammo..I get that if you rattle off 10 kills in a row you may need to make a move for more ammo but now it's realistic that you make a couple of kills with the DMR and by the time you track down the body you just killed from mid range, their weapon/ammo is gone. If they had a couple of predetermined spots where a BR/DMR spawned, I could at least track that spot down and regroup. I just don't see why this can't coexist with ordnance drops. Maybe make one of the options in your ordnance drops more ammo for your current gun rather than the stupid needler or damage boost! And I realize you can start with more ammo if you choose that ability but then you sacrifce resupply or something else. If it aint broke, don't fix it.. I wish 343 stuck to that more. Still a great game, but I'm hoping for a couple of small tweaks to make the game great.

Gamertag: mcmillan119 Map: Power Relay Alpha Gametype: HK-Flood Players: 10- 16 This map takes place on Ravine, it consits of five buildings for the humans to defend in or on, there are always multiple ways for the Flood to get to them, the main feature of the map is the skyscraper building, which offers some very cool close quaters combat. Also to add more to the theme (map name) of the map, from the power building (to the right of the skyscraper if looking at it), I have added in power lines & power poles, to show how the different buildings gets its power. On the map there are three Initial weapon drops and one random drop, also there are two vehicles, the mongoose and (normal) warthog. Pls feature this map in a video, it would be really cool for publisity, in Reach i made some very awesome maps but they never had very many downloads because nobody 'followed me', if you get what i mean.
  10. Hey guys just wondering if there are any INVERTED players out there experiencing this as well. In the campaign and on infinity game types I seem to always seem to go from inverted to not inverted everytime I jump into a vehicle. You have no idea how hard it is to beat some of these missions while having to switch back and forth!
  11. I put vehicles on my forge map. But i go to play it on custom games and they don't spawn. Ive tried DOZENS of things to try and fix it but nothing. I even went on the regular maps and tried looking but found nothing. Can anyone help me out here?

  13. i have dreamed flying the pelican in halo i finally got to drive one in reach but i want it in multiplayer so that i can carry troops and they can be passengers and not have to be a gunner like in the falcon but dont forget the phantom or u can use the bandit (spirit) it dose not madder i just want the flying troop transport

Through the history of popular games such as "CallofDuty" and "LeagueofLegends", there have been multiple updates and Nerf's (decreased level of power and ability) for thousands of weapons and vehicles. As we have never experienced this through the Halo Series by Bungie, is it possible for "343 industries" to create and let an "Ordinary Halo Player" use an Over Powered Vehicle or Weapon? Thank you for checking this thread out, and with all respect, please be willing to share your own personal belief/opinion of Over Powered Vehicles and Weapons throughout any game. 1) Can rage appear through the all new Halo 4 produced by "343 industries" from Over Powered Vehicles and/or Weapons, or does the "Over Powered Weapons and Vehicles" apply to certain game modes and maps? With the first ever new "Halo 4" produced by 343 industries being released in literally less than a day with all new weapons and vehicles, will there be Over Powered equipment throughout this game that can create unfair teams and players? If so, what can it take to stop it immediately before the game continues to go on. As many people (including myself) are afraid of this, can this decrease or increase the sales of Halo 4 itself? Not only will this mess up the whole environment of halo itself, but it has the possibility to create madness and sadness throughout the "average gamer". How do you feel about Over Powered Vehicles and Weapons, and what does it take to get rid of it? Can it create debates, or can it create madness throughout the "average gamer"? Or in better words, will there even be Over Powered Weapons in Halo 4? Is this link considered "Over Powered" and will it be able to effect the Halo 4 community?   15. This Halo (Halo 4) is 1/3 Halo 3, 1/3 Halo: Reach (aka how to get revenge on Microsoft and have them pay you for it) and 1/3 Call of Duty. I only like the first 1/3 of this equation. I love CoD. But not in my Halo, which I love more. If you have no sense of humor, please discontinue reading. 1) I dislike spawning into a game that I am losing and have no chance of winning. This was never a facet of Halo. It is, however, a mainstay of the CoD Franchise. There is no benefit to staying in a game where you are losing or outnumbered in Halo 4. There is no deterrent to leaving. You gain NO extra xp for being a gamer with self-respect. Just like in CoD. Also I have begun more games down a man in Halo 4 than in all of my previous Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo: Reach games combined, in just the first four days since its release. It's like they paid Infinity Ward (not Treyarch, those boys know how to make a game) for their MW2 matchmaking formulas. 2) I dislike the ease of which you die in this Halo with the DMR (it appears even more so than in Reach) and overall. Halo (prior to Reach) was all about skill, individual battles and balance with the conventional weapons. In Call of Duty you can kill quickly when you spot someone on the map, well before they have time to respond. This seems to be the way that they are bringing it in line with the CoD engine. Every time I kill someone unfairly with the incineration thingamajigger, I'm sure Cortana dies a little inside. 3) The vehicles are not easy to kill. On a map with vehicles, there is not a plethora of weapons to destroy them with. I have stuck the Ghost twice in succession and not killed it or the driver. Usually there is just one rather clunky Spartan Laser to fight over. And they spawn too many times in a game. I've had the Wraith 3 times in a game. 4) If I wanted to play a game where I had lag/connection/matchmaking issues, I'd play Call of Duty. 5) If I wanted to play a game where I died repeatedly on my spawn or spawned in the crosshairs of the enemy team, I can just pop in Call of Duty. Seriously the spawns seem to have been generated by monkeys flinging their own poop on a large copy of the map. They can't actually claim any intelligence went into the spawning can they? My impression of the only meeting they had discussing it went as follows: "That spawn makes no sense and it stinks in here. He's..." "Silence! The monkey poop has spoken." 6) The sniper Rifle stays zoomed in even if hit. This leads me to my closing statement. The people who made this game were NOT Halo fans, at least not before Reach. They either were CoD fans, or were trying to get people who buy CoD to buy this game. There is no point in buying future Halo games unless you loved Reach (WHO ARE YOU? Seriously who liked halo 2 and 3 and then Reach? If you liked it then you are at the 'Gump Line'). If you love CoD and want to play a futuristic Call of Duty, then this is your game BLOPS2 will be out soon. So get your brooms out, it is time for Shennanigans.

One belongs to UNSC and one to Covenant. The Lich and the Broadsword. Broadsword Lich (Sorry for the difference in picture size. Couldn't get them to resize properly.)   18. so i was playing btb today, and i jumped in the banshee, i got maybe 5 kills before going down. thought maybe i was just a little "rusty" since i had not been online in a while. but it kept happening game after game. i felt like i was takeing less fire but going down faster, then before i quit playing for about a month. got to talking to my freinds, same thing was happening to them as well. Did 343 weaking the vehicles again? anyone no why they did if they did? and how can we get the vehicles back to normal. it use to take a coordinated team all fireing at a vehicle to take it down quikly, now if feels as a couple of people can take one in the same amount of time it use to take an entire team. Has this happend to anyone else?

As you all know, the only vehicles worth using in Halo Wars was the Vultures, a pelican with roofed heat seeking missile ports, Machine guns and missile barrages, and the Locusts, mini scarabs that shot focus beams. Since Halo 4 is right around the corner, we need to act DOUBLE FAST! so let's be general, casual forum readers and let's tell them what we think about this! First off, I would only recommend that a vulture is a neutral vehicle placed in the middle of the area, rather than every team is flying with millions of missiles at hand. And limit Locusts like wraiths, but keep them handy. Also, Locusts need to have a secondary firing option and overheating that opens the upper canopy and makes the driver vulnerable from behind. A must feature for the vulture is that when a player ejects from it, the vulture must auto-pilot back to the landing zone. Otherwise players will be able to use the vultures large mass as an obstruction or a bridge or whatever. Also, the vulture is a one man vehicle. Even if these aren't forgeable, they will still be fascinating to the 1st person view. In conclusion, this would be worth the game delay. But I'm making this thread for you guys, so what do you guys feel about adding more vehicles into Halo 4?

  21. So me and my friend were playing Halo:Reach the other day and noticed that exiting a vehicle (Usualy a Banshee) was taking to long when your been shot at by the whole enemy team. So we were thinking and thought it would be a great idea if there was a quick ejection system, maybe hitting the right bumper or a simliar button while in a vehicle and you would dive out of it. There has to be a catch right? So maybe you loose some of your shield when you dive out depending on your speed and how you land. You may also consider not beening able to use your abilities until they recharge again. I hope that everyone shares their thoughts and opinions on this. Your Friend, Connor AoT x EpiczZx
  22. I have posted an idea of a UNSC version of the scarab (called the UNSC Buffalo) i'd like to know if this vehicle has been put into the game but i cant find a list of confirmed vehicles. If anyone has any links or if a 343 mod can give some hints i'd be very thankfull

  25. i personally think that they shud make a couple more sky vehicles, besides just banshees and falcons. Also, i think they shud make a spartan vehicle that is more like a ghost, and u can fire from the driver seat and move really fast I also think that (even tho it sounds rediculous) they shud make not only air and ground vehicles, but water vehicles, like a speed boat or something, or just like a warthog that can drive on land and water. Another good idea is that they make more types of warthogs and falcons, like the ones in the campaign of reach. My last idea is to just have more vehicles in general. I heard somewhere that they are planningon putting pelicans and phantoms If you have a comment on any of these ideas, or your own idea, then plz post it.
