  2. The hit title Assassin's Creed Unity marketed to release October 28th is now releasing 2 weeks later on November 11th, the same day as it's counterpart on previous generation Assassin's Creed Rogue, another Ubisoft title The Crew, and the largely anticipated Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It's no secret that companies like to compete, especially in the gaming world, and that's why the news about Assassin's Creed Unity's delay sort of makes sense. IGN.com reports that Ubisoft announced the delay today, slating the release for November 11th, 2014. The same day as Assassin's Creed Rogue and The Crew, and some time near Far Cry 4. While it could be understood that Ubisoft would set the date to compete with Halo: The Master Chief Collection, it makes little sense to compete with other games under your belt, two of them releasing on the same day. As well the game now has a Day One patch, what the patch is for is currently unknown. The dates for AC Unity and AC Rogue are also aligning in Europe and other countries where the releases usually happen later, as both games are now slated to release on the 13th. View attachment: Assassins-Creed-Unity-assassination.jpg What do you think of this news, are you disappointed Unity is coming later? Let me know below! Thank you very much for reading!

  4. I'm not late, it doesn't count! We have your usual three articles today, tried to spice it up by making them a bit more diverse this time around. So sit down, get your popcorn, and prepare for- What? I need to leave the premises? Why? I don't work here anymore? That's insane! You're getting the swat dogs, okay I'm out! Before we start the link in the article below does contain coarse language, viewer discretion is advised. View attachment: WNW 71914.JPG Ashley Johnson (Ellie, The Last of Us) Responds to Ubisoft Female Assassin Controversy Ubisoft has been under heavy fire from Gaming Press, Gamers, and men and women alike in the gaming media for their decision to not include a playable female Assassin. Ashley Johnson, best known as Ellie from The Last of Us, is one of those women, as she has fired at Ubisoft according to Polygon.com. Leaving out Ashley's choice words likely too mature to be fully stated here, she is completely against the decision, saying, "It's 2014! How many video games do you have to make to realize maybe have an option to have a female be in there?" Her co-star in the game, Troy Baker, has made a much less volatile statement, cautioning the idea of forced inclusion of females. Ubisoft has tried to quell the massive response of angered gamers, but even their wide array of efforts have done little to stop people. Ubisoft is composed of a diverse library of employees, men, women, foreigners, and for the most part anything in between. They were also under similar fire for controversy over the Far Cry 4 cover art showcasing a lighter skinned man holding down a darker skinned man. Sony announces two new PS4 bundles in Japan: Custom Destiny Bundle and The Last of Us Bundle PlayStation 4 bundles have been popping up in massive degrees lately, between the Driveclub bundle announced and the recent questionable Frozen bundle, Japan has a wide variety of different PlayStation 4s to choose from, and now we can add two more to that list. IGN.com states that Sony has announced a Destiny bundle with a custom console, and a The Last of Us Remastered bundle with a custom TLOU: R themed PS4. The Destiny bundle is the same as it is here in United States, save for the Destiny logo imprinted unto the console. The Last of Us Remastered bundle includes the game, the PlayStation 4 with the two main characters on the cover, and the DualShock 4, all in their signature black. Destiny is slightly different sporting the Sony logo on it's bottom right corner as well, as it is a PS4 exclusive in Japan. The bundles will likely be the same price as your typical game/console bundle. 7. Assassins Creed IV Black Flag will not only be bringing back the classic style game play that die hard 'Creed' fans love, but also a new feature that will offer players a whole new way to explore the environment around them. The new underwater swimming experience opens up a vast area for the player to explore and find treasure, upgrades for their ship and other hidden items. You will have the same type of free roam ability under the oceans, seas and lagoons that you find on land except that here you will have no weapons for defense. This means when you encounter sharks, jelly fish, manta rays and various other dangerous sea creatures you must use the environment and stealth to avoid attacks and elude predators because you are the prey underwater. The new experience will allow you to traverse the entire oceans, if you choose, underwater. The one catch is that you need to be wary of your air supply. When diving close to your ship the crew will provide an air bell for use, but in more distant locations you will have to seek out air pockets under rock shelves and in caves. There will be a diverse underwater environment that features ship wrecks, coral reefs, under water caves, lagoons and trenches that are carpeted with lush seaweed beds, sand, clams and filled with all manner of underwater life. In an video interview with producer Arnaud Vaudour, Tom Bramwell of eurogamer.net discusses the new addition of under water exploration in Assassins Creed IV Black Flag.

  13. Ubisoft has released a trailer focusing on Desmond Miles, the 21st century protagonist. Read below for more details Source: Computerandvideogames.com Even if you're still not a fan of Desmond, who has appeared in every game to date, AC3 creative director Alex Hutchinson thinks you'll be very happy with how his story's tied up. "The story of Assassin's Creed, AC II, Brotherhood and Revelations was to build Desmond up," Hutchinson recently told Edge. "He's this guy who's a bit of a nobody when it starts out, and gets new abilities through reliving the lives of his ancestors. "So we've built this guy up over the course of the games, and I really believe that we can pay that off, and in retrospect he'll be terrific. I don't think anyone really liked Luke Skywalker in [star Wars] A New Hope, but by the end of his character arc, this journey that he goes through, makes him amazing." Ubisoft has confirmed an Assassin's Creed 3 release date of October 30 on PS3 and Xbox 360, with a PC release to follow on November 23. A Wii U version will be available at the console's launch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTcE1Tlxw38

Assassin's Creed 3 comes to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms on October 30, 2012. View full article
