  1. Hey! Whatsup everyone? I'm x KELLZz and i'm here to tell you all about TSF or The Spartan Force. TSF isn't like most clans, we are a community clan that's all Halo, all the time. We have very close to 100 members so far and were gaining members everyday. My job here is to tell you about this amazing clan. I'll tell you all about my personal experience with TSF. I'm not a clan guy, I usually lone-wolf it and iv'e been doing that for a while up until March. When Gunn3r (TSF Leader) invited in I was a bit skeptical about what they said about the clan. That skepticism turned into hard, hot, super sexy facts lol. Everything Gunn3r told me 100% true, i'm going to tell you about the events and groups that he told me. Maybe you will want to sign up, believe me its worth it. Every Friday night we have Game Night, i'm one of the two Game Night Leaders. In Game Night, we have about a couple lobbies full of people and we just play fun and epic custom games all night. Game Night starts at 10pm EST and ends, hell till the sun comes up . On Saturdays we have Halo 3 Day where we all hop on Halo 3 and relive those awesome memories that we all had during Halo 3. Every week we have a short or long video called "Multi-Kill Monday". Its where our Film Leader gets clips from players and gives them great effects to make one awesome video of multikills. On Thursdays we have the ***** ( yeah i know, laugh it up ha ). The ***** is a tournament that every player in TSF can attend at 7pm EST. The winner gets their own video commentary of their victory on the forums so everyone can see. They also get a nice shiny medal on the forums. Let me talk more about the groups now. TSF has 3 Divisions, 9 Squad Leaders and 27 Teams. Some Squad Leader spots are still open. I'm 3rd Long Division, 3rd Squad Leader. I look after my 3 teams: Zulu (main), Whiskey and Bion. Every SL has 3 teams to look after. If you become a SL, let me tell you by experience, its sweet. You have power and feel really important. Whats not to love about that? To sum it all up, TSF is a great, i don't just mean great, i mean GREAT Community Clan. The members are funny and unlike other clans, are actually good at Halo. Yes, i went there. If you gamers want to check it out, the link is below. There are no requirements to join, only thing you have to do is sign up, type who recruited you (me ) and fill out a simple survey. Here's the link. When you click it, your making a great decision. http://thespartanforce.enjin.com/ -If you have any question about TSF, don't hesitate to message me on here, Xbox or the TSF Forums. All my names are they same, x KELLZz
  2. Hello everyone and welcome! I am currently the representitive for the clan Honor Bound Alliance, or HBA, for short. We are a dedicated clan that is in for fun and for competition. We have clan training sessions so that you can rank up quickly and if you mess up, we will tell you what you did wrong and how to improve to get better not only in the clan, but at gaming in general. We are a fairly new clan with almost 50 members to date and still counting everyday! We also have clan battles. But onlywithin our clan currently to judge how well our members are in general. If you are good, you can expect to rank up quickly. Here are some tips on ranking up in the clan. 1. Be active. Don't join just to be apart of something. 2. Be loyal. Don't join and then leave to go to another clan and then leave that one saying you want to join back. You will have one chance to join back after the first time you leave. After that, you will be permanantly banned from the clan. 3. Go to clan training sessions. These are more importamt than you think. 4. Go to clan battles. These also are important, and they are very fun! 5. Go to clan meetings. These are highly important. 6. Recruit more members. The more you recruit, the higher your rank is! That's pretty much it. So don't be shy or afraid that you are too bad at gaming to be apart of HBA. Becuase you're not. We can help. And we don't care about your rank or your age. Just don't get on our nerves if you have a squeeky voice (no offense). So if you want to join, post below, send me a message on Xbox LIVE, and send me a friend request. And don't forget that now until June 30 is an automatic rank up to Corporal! This saves you two training sessions!
  3. It's come to my attention that there are a couple of playlists that used to have far more players than they do now. Those playlists are Team Swat and Team Snipers. The main reason for this is because playing on the same maps over and over again gets old pretty quickly. The lack of maps in both playlists is annoying to say the least. Another reason is that the credit jackpots and challenges are geared toward the larger playlists (which is pretty ironic given that Swat is a pretty large playlist). The following is all in my own opinion. Updates that should happen for Swat: 1. New maps. There are quite a few maps in Team Slayer and BTB (ikr) that would be great for Swat. While adding new maps to Swat, it should be remembered that in Swat symmetry is a good thing. You can learn a lot from maps that players have forged as to what would be good in Swat and what wouldn't be (most maps designed with Swat in mind are perfectly symmetrical). It wouldn't even be hard to add Team Slayer or BTB maps to Swat. There is no need to edit them because if Slayer works, then so does Swat. Adding maps is the critical update that is needed. 2. A possible ZB option. Most Swat veterans are of the opinion that Swat would be even more amazing with Zero Bloom. It shouldn't be permanently switched to ZB, mind you, but the option to play Swat on ZB should be there. It would make Swat a little more difficult, but Swat isn't exactly considered an "easy" playlist like Slayer, BTB, or Objective. Another argument that supports this is that Swat is supposed to be based off of a players aim rather than how fast they can spam a trigger. 3. A Super Jackpot. As far as I know, Swat has never had a Super Jackpot before. Which seems rather unfair considering that nearly every other playlist has. Even Infection. A SJ would bring more players into the playlist, which would give veteran players new people to play with. It will also encourage other players to at least try it out a bit to see if they like it. Updates that should happen for Snipers: 1. New maps. DEFINITELY new maps. There are nearly a dozen maps that should be in Snipers that aren't due to either oversight or laziness. ALL BTB maps work with Team Snipers, ALL slayer maps work with Snipers, and all MLG maps work with Snipers. The only excuse for the lack of maps in Snipers is "We haven't gotten around to it yet." If more maps came into Snipers, the size of the playlist would probably double by the end of the week. 2. More Daily and Weekly Challenges. There are no daily or weekly challenges that I know of that are especially attuned to Snipers. There are some for Swat (magnum kills can happen in other playlists of course, but it's obvious that Swat Magnums is the quickest way to get the challenge) so why not for Snipers? 3. Raised Game Time. There are a lot of Snipers games that aren't completed due to lack of time in game, especially on larger maps like Hemorrhage. Another couple of minutes should see these games through to completion. 4. Super Jackpot. It will do the same thing for Swat as it will for Snipers. More people playing = more fun. 5. Either update or remove Hemorrhage. The spawns are Red heavy (means it gives red a little advantage over blue. Yeah, you know it does don't lie.) Spawns at half-map or in the bases (rather than around the base in plain view) will go a long way in making it more entertaining to play on Hemorrhage. That's all I can think of for now. If you have any more, feel free to post them.
  4. I am really hoping that people are willing to come and play a few custom games with me. If you are interest post a message. If you have a mic please state in post.
  5. Halo: Reach does not exist, the game plot is completely wrong, and none of it ever happened. I am here to prove once and for all that the plot of Halo: Reach is not canon, it is a rewrite, and is not real Halo, not only as a cry for justice that we have been betrayed by the people we trusted to deliver the battle of reach, "From the beginning, you know the end." as the official slogan of the game goes. But to shoot down any bastardization of future plot destruction by way of material from Halo: Reach being used in the future. I will start with the most plain flaws of the plot, number one on my list is the Pillar of Autumn. The Pillar of Autumn as seen in Halo: Reach was grounded and preparing to launch, this is not true, I reference the book 'the fall of reach'(which came out before halo2) as my evidence. QUOTE FROM "the fall of reach" CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE 0400 Hours, August 30, 2552 (Military Calendar) / UNSC Pillar of Autumn, in orbit around Epsilon Eridani System, Reach Military Complex Captain Keyes tapped the thrusters of the shuttle pod Coda. The tiny craft rolled and the Pillar of Autumn cam into view. Normally, Captains did not ferry themselves around the space docks of Reach, but Keyes had insisted. All unauthorized personnel were restricted to a narrow flight path around the Pillar of Autumn, and he wanted to take a careful look around the outside of this ship before he took command. END QUOTE/// This is about half of the first page of chapter twenty nine of 'the fall of reach' page 271 by my book. As we see here clearly the Pillar of Autumn was not on the ground when the battle started, and ive even heard that the Pillar of Autumn was built in space and cannot land, but I dont have a source for that so its not valid in this argument. QUOTE FROM 'the fall of reach' (last paragraph of chapter twenty nine) "Approaching Reach system's edge," Ensign Lovell reported. "Ready to generate a slipstream--" "Captain!" Lieutenant Dominique cried. "incoming Alpha priority transmission from FLEETCOME HQ at Reach... sir, they'er under Covenant attack!" END QUOTE/// Page 278 by my book. With both of these quotations in mind, the plot of Halo: Reach, is utterly wrecked in totality... The basis of the end plot was that Cortana, or a portion of her as has been suggested to me, could not possibly be delivered to the Pillar of Autumn, because it was, as seen in chapters 33-37 in space throughout the entire battle. Even the battle itself in Halo: Reach is completely wrong, I will not quote anymore in the interest of saving space in this post, but the final chapters 33-37 are available to be read by anyone who is willing to take the time to read them. In summery, the Pillar of Autumn was surprise attacked by a Covenant Carrier and narrowly destroyed it because of Cortanas skill and capability taking control of the ship. They then turned around and make full thrust to return to Reach in an attempt to join the fleet in orbit, which they were unable to do. They then witnessed the battle for reach from a large distance and on approach, there were approximately one hundred fifty UNSC ships in orbit, with approximately three hundred Covenant ships preparing to attack from afar. By the time the Pillar of Autumn came into range of the battle in was nearly to late. John(master chief)Linda, and James, were dispatched to secure navigation data from a space dock to keep it out of Covenant hands, while the rest of the Spartan-IIs were sent to the surface of Reach to defend key instillations that powered the SUPER-MAC orbital platforms that defended the planet, similar to the Cairo Station as seen in Halo2. James was died, Linda was mortally wounded, John as well as SGT Johnson and a few marines who were on the station escaped back to the Pillar of Autumn, and they jumped to slipstream-space to Halo shortly after. There, it is done... lol Again, anyone can read the last few chapters of 'the fall of reach' and verify this summary. With all that said, does this sound like the plot of Halo: Reach? Even a little? Of course not, because Halo: Reach is a rewrite and bastardization of a perfect plot that would have been one hell of a game all on its own... Leaving all of that aside, we have the Spartan-IIIs According to the book 'ghosts of onyx' the III program started in the year 2531, with candidates of ages six, doing the math, the oldest possible IIIs in existence would at oldest be twenty seven years old. When looking at Carters profile on Halopedia, we see that he is in fact thirty two years of age, this is impossible, not to mention that the first two batches of IIIs had all died off. Kat-B320 22 years old Emile-A239 29 years old Jun-A266 28 years old Impossible, all impossible, Kat is the only one old enough to even exist, and that in of itself is in question. I could drag on and on pointing out every single flaw in the very substance of Halo: Reach, but this alone is enough in any court of law for to exact a ruling. I would like to last mention that the armor they use is not even armor rated for IIIs the armor they use is refered to 'ghosts of onyx' but as I said im done at this point. With the conclusion of just what we see above, not even the fullest documentation of lies and insults to the fans, the destruction of integrate and well as the truest nature of the halo universe in the minds of countless fans around the world. I here by demand an official apology from those responsible, I want a public statement that the game Halo: Reach is not cannon, and is in fact a rewrite "fan-fiction" game, and has not sway or control over any plot material past present and future. Any questions or concerns with the evidence above I will be happy to explain and assist in any way I can, I want to make this fact as clear and understood for everyone as much as possible. Thank you.

  7. Hola, My name is Cynicz00. Well, at least it is to the Internet. I'm 16, a sophomore in high school, and f*cking sick of the stereotype my age group has become, and so I came to the Internet and gaming. Here, I've been able to converse with people that don't have the combined IQ of soap. As you can see, I lead an exciting life. To preserve my grades, I only play Halo: Reach competitively during the weekends, but I'll be on multiple hours every day in about a week when finals are over. Things that might interest me in you, or you in me: - I'm just started playing Halo: Reach again after a break, so I'd like a "clan" or just some cool peeps to play with online. My new "friends list" is empty. - My K/D is positive 4/5 times (I'm basing that off purely vague memory). - People that kill teammates for "power-weapons" should die in a fire. Underwater. In a volcano. - Dat Halo 4. - Interested in career in game model design. Not necessarily Halo, but obviously that'd be cool. If you know how one would get started with the basics of that aspect of game design, drop me a message. That about wraps it up. I look forward to doing "whatever people do here" with you guys. Dearest Regards, - Cynicz00
  8. Alot of Reach, my characters armor will lag out, and I will be set to the defualt spartan (all grey, defualt armor, septagon emblem, no service tag) and when it does that, I can't earn credits and sometimes the Reach servers will be unavialable. PLEASE HELP!

  10. Dear 343industries, in case you were planning to port Halo Reach to PC, let me give you advice to make it better. In my opinion, Halo Reach pc should: -include all DLCs and multiplayer maps -be graphically improved (HD textures, Antialiasing,...) -include online and LAN co-op
  11. Im curious to see what clans are still out their and are still going strong even after a bunch of them fell apart after Reach. I was just wondering what clans, are available and worth joining, please let me know. (Well organized clans are the most appreciated.) Thanks!, Master
  12. So, I, like many others, aren't that big a fan of the armor abilities in Halo Reach. But I'm also pretty sure that no amount of whining will get them removed from Halo 4, or even if that would be for the better. What I am saying, is that I could accept armor abilities, and maybe even grow to like them, if they take more of a back seat in Halo 4, sort of like the equipment in Halo 3, only a little better integrated. Evade, and most of all, sprint, were welcome additions, and I'm pleased to hear that sprint is now a standard ability. It was one of the few things CoD had, that Halo needed. Gameplay-wise, armor lock, and especially jetpack, are pains. The invisibility one is a little annoying, but it don't bother me much. But those are not the biggest problems, as far as I'm concerned. What annoys me the most in Halo Reach multiplayer, are the maps, and how they are designed. They aren't bad, most are pretty decent, but they are all very much designed to make the armor abilities central, most noticeably the jetpack. Pretty much every small-to-mid-sized map in Halo Reach is full of levels and lines-of-sight were you can shoot, but not travel directly between. That is, unless you have one of those cursed jetpacks. (Uncaged, I'm looking at you!) I see many possibilities for integrating armor abilities in awesome custom games and special gametypes, I just can't possibly imagine it to be for the best to have all of them available in standard playlists like Team Slayer, Arena and Team Doubles. At least not in the state that they are today. So, these are my two cents on armor abilities, hope I don't appear as yet another whiner, but I really believe we can have our cake and eat it too! Please don not the armor abilities as central as they are in Reach now, especially the jetpack.
  13. Is 343 ruining Halo: Reach? Sadly the answer is yes. Bloom is good! Why would they remove it? It seperates the noobs from the pros. Only 300 people play the TU Beta. Why? IT SUCKS. Notice how every playlist that gets the title update subsequently loses the majority of it's players. Every update has made the game worse. I hope 343 gets the message and stops ruining Halo: Reach. If any 343 staff is reading this, PLEASE STOP. YOU'VE ALREADY SCREWED UP HALO:REACH ENOUGH. Bungie was SOOOO much better. Please stop. It was amazing and now it's getting worse.
  14. Hey, My name is x Master Rob x, and my colleagues and I at Superior Masters Productions just created what is hoped to be the first machinima in a series. It's a Halo: Reach machinima called Chimera Team Alpha, and is meant to be sort of a retro buddy-cop take on the Halo universe, with the man-child spartan Crackshot paired with the sardonic elite Niblick, with both of them directed by the gruff Admiral Tyrell. We're new and we're still finding our footing, but we think we have something to contribute to the Halo machinima community. Our pilot episode (Episode 1) can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnHiM0SodB0&list=PL2F9536BB3629B61E&index=1&feature=plpp_video [EDIT: the link to the video has changed as the video has been picked up by the 343iCommunity YouTube channel. Which is awesome.] Thanks, x Master Rob x

  16. Interested in joining a clan? Bored of playing by yourself? If not then find something to do. But if so then I have got a clan that is available for you to join. : DJ clan : Dear Players The DJ clan is a simple clan and requires your gamer tag to be changed to DJ Example ?? and two numbers replacing the question marks. A bit about the clan is that it requires NO age limit. Of course if your like 5 or younger then no, but we at least need a mature player who understands the concepts of life. -__- . Anyways, the clan is fun to be in because we can go from playing matchmaking together, mostly infection, to show the clan's teamwork in surviving 3 waves of zombie hordes. Another thing we do is play on Custom Games (what is Fun without that?) . On Custom Games, we pretty much play what ever the people agree on playing. Their are about 15 people in the clan, and yes it is a little because little means more order to keep the clan together and to contact each other easily. If you're interested in joining please contact me at my gamer tag (DJ MiKE 16) and I will introduce you to the clan. Send me a message, or add me, or something please. Well there you have it, the DJ clan, if you don't like it then move on and stop wasting your time. By the way, I am the only one in the clan who is doing anything for the clan, so help would be great. <THANK YOU> ^DJ MiKE 16^ And Don't Forget About MC...sorry if the PIC. didn't show
  17. Since the Banshee has pretty much been confirmed to be in H4 by its presense in some of the latest concept art, I figured I'd make this poll beacuse the banshee is near and dear to so many people, including myself. I thought the H3 Banshee was both more balanced and more powerfull and much preferred that, also felt that it looked allot cooler so I'm glad to see them going back to the H3 style in the concept art.
  18. I participated in the Beta back last summer, but I never got a email with a download version of the game. What do I do?
  19. Can't play three games without running into a full team of max level cheaters whose kd's are all rediculous. Im so tired of not being able to play the playlist I love without these cheating teams. Constantly and I mean like every one shot from the passenger seat of whatever vehicle just for starters. There's gotta be something done about this.
  20. Is it just a bug bug or is reach full of cheaters. I have recently come across allot of players with a really high rank, but when I look at their playtime it can sometimes say a day or even less and it also says they barely have any kills? I'm really confused any help?
  21. Im feeling like playing slayer or invasion anyone want to join me send me a message
  22. Hey this is A hil13 (GAMERTAG), and i am looking for a small, new, big team battle clan to have a clan war with on custom made maps. If u wish to do this with us please reply, friend me on xbox, and message me on xbox Also, if we can get enough clans, id like to have a small tournement. For any info on what to do for the maps, what kinds of things can be on them, and what to do for the game type, reply to this thread.
  23. Correct me if I'm wrong... But after bungie cancelled their file share due to the transfer, 343 hasn't made a new one, have they not? We all like to use our file shares, and now we cannot because of the bungie transfer. We like using file shares for just that: sharing our files. If it's possible, 343, please make a new one! Thanks!
  24. While arguing in another thread it occurred to me what went wrong with the introduction of Armor Abilities. AA's were envisioned as the follow up to previous Halo's equipment and Power Ups. But those things had been "power ups". They conferred an advantage on purpose. Where Reach went wrong was trying to apply things which were meant to make you more powerful in such a way as to make everyone equally powerfull. In Halo 3 the Bubble Shield is not meant to match Active Camo. It is not supposed to be a level playing field. In Reach, Bungie tried to modify all these preexisting things than throw in some new ones without making an effort to make the different AA's balance each other Rock,Paper,Scissors style. So the core problem is trying to adapt things which are inherently asymmetrical in gameplay terms to be symmetrical, and the result of this contradictory approach is you get AA's which are either lame knockoffs of previous versions (Active Camo) or Overpowered (Armor Lock). And this says another thing about the future of Halo...if 343 makes an armor customization system which changes peoples abilities but is not necessarily the Armor abilities of Reach, it doesnt have to have the same problems because rather than trying to adapt things which are inherently unbalanced to be balanced, 343 will likely be starting off from a point of "what little changes can we give people to customize themselves while remaining balanced?".
  25. Heres a bit of a rant about two arguments I am always reading. 1) "But that's not Halo!" -Traditionalist Halo player complaining about changes. 2) "Adapt" -Progressive Halo player complaining about people complaining about changes. Neither argument means much of anything because neither argument really says much of anything about the nature of the change being made. The first argument isn't as bad because there are a few cases when it actually applies...for example, I personally don't think the perk system in Call of Duty detracts from Call of Duty but it certainly does not belong in Halo, so I guess its okay to say "But that's not Halo!" but then (for example) when people talk about something like universal sprint or 1st person vehicles, people say "but that's not Halo!". Yeah...its not Halo because it hasn't been in Halo. Might as well say Brutes "aren't Halo" (before Halo 2) or Forge isn't Halo (before Halo 3). What I'm wondering is what is this strange intangible "Halo-ness" which we are comparing these new elements to? Then you get people saying "adapt", like when talking about changes in Reach. This is even worse than the previous argument because at least saying something wasn't Halo was making some sort of value judgement about something...with "adapt" we could be talking about any change in the book and the progressive Halo player might blindly insist that the change is for the best and that we should blindly keep singing the particular Halo game (and its developers) praises even though people might very well know in their heart of hearts that the new element is at best neutral in terms of improving the game and at worst completely stupid. Point is, the community should just judge a particular element by its own merits, not based on a need to freeze Halo as it currently is, or to deceive yourself into thinking that the last Halo is as good or better than the last.
