  1. Wow. Have to say I absolutely love the gameplay of Infinite, and especially the ranked playlist, BUT, there is absolutely no reason to stick to this game. There is zero sense of progression. There is nothing to unlock. OK, we have the battle pass, but what do you get from it? A couple of armor mods and shaders you can't even equip because its locked to an armor it isn't possible to unlock stuff for. Seriously, the progression in this game needs fixing. I want a grind. I want bragging rights. Give us a reason to play please.
  2. The multiplayer progression system is still a brutal grind. Yes they made a small fix by each game only granting 50 points, but I feel like that's a bandaid on a wound that needs stitches. It doesn't provide incentive to win because you get the points regardless. I've play multiple games in quickplay and 1/4 games there was someone afk the whole game. If 343 implements a system to just kick them out then players will just rubber band their controllers. Also a whole progression system base around a battle pass is a terrible idea when coupled with the only real way to level it up is through challenges. That brings up another issue. People working on the challenges won't care about winning, just the challenges. Challenges should be a bonus to the main progression of playing well like how Halo Reach was designed. I finished all my weekly's for the first week and lost interest playing because there is no incentive to keep going until the next week. 343 if you see this please take all of this into great consideration and if any Halo fans noticed I missed anything feel free to add on.
  3. Looking to see what peoples opinion on the new battle pass system for Halo infinite. And to see if developers will explain why they have decided to go this route rather than sticking to the traditional halo formula.
  4. Hey guys, What style is the flood map? I have created a 'Defend the house' style of map. For people who dont know what that is, its basically defending an area or building by barricading yourself with crates and holding for the remaining time. What is the map? The map revolves around an old Diner, which is on a deserted highway. It has two levels and requires some effort to reach the second level and promotes alot of teamwork. It has some other holdout areas on the map like a Garage. You can explore the ruined roads and lam-posts on the highway but if you dont want to get mowed down by flood you should stay inside Recommended players: 9 - 16 Flood and Human traits for the Game type? The gametype is called 'Diseaged' which is my main overall gametype for my flood maps. It takes 2 shots to kill the human and the flood have a special ability which is Auto-turrets. The reason for this is for open spaces flood have a chance of surviving and promotes the humans to not camp in the open. Have fun! i had alot of fun testing this map and hope you do too! 5. Gamertag: HAL0 M4N Map: Pestilence [1]: Mineral Lake Gametype: Pestilence Description: This map is a journey/progression map. There are 3 areas: Elevator Platform, Supply Depot Building, and The Boat. After 1 minute, the next area is unlocked by having ramps spawn so the Survivors can get to the next area (Survivors cannot jump, so they can't get over the blocked paths until the intended time). At the beginning, Survivors spawn on the Elevator Platform. After the first minute, Supply Depot Building is unlocked, and The Boat is unlocked after the second minute. Flood's spawn is across the Elevator Platform on a rock ledge. There are man cannons that the Flood can take to get onto the Elevator Platform. Or the Flood can take teleporters. These teleporters spawn after a certain amount of time so the Flood can get to the Survivors quicker; These teleporters cannot be blocked by Survivors. This map is highly recommended for a certain gametype, mainly so the Survivors can't get into the next area until they're permitted to do so. This is done by making the Survivors' Jump Height Unchanged in the gametype, and then having the map's Trait Zone (which covers the entire map) make it where the Survivors' have 0% jump height, and also having ramps spawn after a certain amount of time in the map so the Survivors can progress. As for the gametype, there are 3 Initial Flood (There are no Alpha Flood). Survivors spawn with AR and Shotgun (90% Damage), and get Personal Ordnance Drops of: AR always on the right, and in the middle is either Speed Boost with a weight of 8, Overshield with a weight of 4, or Damage Boost with a weight of 1. Flood get shields (50% Damage Resistance), Promethean Vision, and 40 meter Motion Sensor. There are 3 rounds, and each round lasts 4 minutes. Survivors cannot jump and run at 90% while Flood run at 120%. Flood can kill a Survivor in one hit (if the Survivor has Overshield, they can survive two hits). The map and gametype are both intended for a Matchmaking environment. Recommended Player Count: 10 - 12 Screenshots: Avoid The Pestilence! Overview

  10. Ok, so i'm fed up with 343 not listening to the players who make Halo, Halo. What's the deal with not including a competitive ranking system? Don't give me the "cheaters" excuse, because i think that's a cop out. 343 you're really going to dumb the game down to avoid cheaters? You have to realize what gave Halo such great replay value was it's RANKING SYSTEM, nothing made the player crave halo more than it's ranking system. It got us all addicted. I mean running home after football practice just to play, waking up in the morning and the first thing we do is turn on our xbox... I think we need to start a petition - maybe Halo 4 should create an online pass - 343 must somehow give us the option to play competitively. Can't they see that WE ARE ALL ASKING FOR IT. We want to be able to stand out among other players because of our true skill, not because of the countless hours we've spent playing. Please, do not belittle the Halo Universe, with all of it's true HARDCORE fans, to a ranking system based on accumulating points. If so at least bring CLANS back or give us some sort of relief, so we competitive types, can have something to be proud of. Basically, THOSE WHO PLAY CUSTOM GAMES ALL DAY ARE HAPPY. WE WHO PLAY HALO COMPETITIVELY ARE NOT. Time for a petition. I don't think 343 understands it's players. They've turned into some comic, customize your spartan, make him look cool, WOOP-DEE-DOO, there are many of us who don't care for this. We just want a solid ranking system, with a number, bring back the cool symbols if you'd like. But just please, give us what WE want. Who knows what's the right way to go about starting a petition? It would be great to have one circling the Internet. Thanks, Phil
