Map: ODST Gametype: ODST Creator/ Gamertag: thehiggsparticl Available On: thehiggsparticl's fileshare Prepare to drop. The Covenant has mobilized a Spirit to drop troops in a cave to study the Flood. The UNSC knows how that goes, so it's deployed a squad of ODST's to stop them The red team (ODST's) drops in from almost the maximum height on one side of erosion with their EVA packs. The blue team (covenant) drops in on the other side of erosion. There are four classes of covenant: grunt, jackal, elite, and hunter. They get their own loadouts to mirror their weapons and armor abilities from campaign. The ODST's don't have the gravity well technology of the covenant, so they must use EVA packs to enter the area from such high altitude. The ODST side of the map is laden with buildings, barricades, and 2 warthogs. The covenant side of the map is covered in energy shields and a tactical post ideal for sniping. While the covenant have superior weapons, the ODST's are the only ones with long-range weapons. So, do you have the guts to jump into hell? Test your true skill against not just the covenant, but the covenant controlled by another human. So, download it now! P.S. Hello, guys. I bet you guys know about a game that came out after Halo 3 ended called "Halo 3: ODST". The game was about this particular ODST squad that got scattered during the events of Halo 3. As most of us know, the events of ODST also took place on New Mombasa(?) on Earth. Perhaps this has been mentioned before, but I wonder if we will ever see a what happened next after the ending sequence of ODST. Actually, wouldn't it be great if we could get a sequel to this gem?

I was just playing Halo 4 and Battlefield 3 and i was thinking, it would be cool if Halo was a bit like Battlefield. I guess people would only understand what i'm talking about if they have played battlefield. Instead of playing as overpowered/shield generated spartans, we could play as ODSTs, marines, engineers, marine force recon, snipers. I guess some people might say, who will fight who? mmm maybe marines against marines from different halo games? For example: Halo Reach marines vs Halo 3 marines, ODSTs vs Marines? To make it fair, and not biased it should be made so that being in different branches of the UNSC or being a marine or ODST doesn't make differences just difference in appearance. Or following the halo story line, it could be UNSC vs Insurrectionists and using different weapons from different Halo games, bringing back.. classic Halo CE assault rifle, SMG, Halo 2 & 3 & 4 BR, Halo Reach & 4 DMR and of course adding Covenant and Fore Runner weapons. Also unlocking attachments and making attachments affect the weapon and gameplay different. It would be hard to moderate and control the damages done by the weapons to make the game play fair and not biased. But it would still be cool. Multiplayer maps could be made bigger in scale to support bigger battles with much more people and vehicles. In Battlefield 3, there's always some form of vehicle you can ride: Jets, Tanks, IFVs, Helicopters and Jeeps. You could bring Warthogs Mongooses Pelicans HORNETS (I miss the hornet from Halo 3) Elephants Falcons Tanks [unlockable attachments for vehicles too?] and more. I guess what makes halo different from Battlefield, Call of Duty and many other games is its unique multiplayer, gameplay and campaign. And I understand that a lot of people may disagree with me and think this is absolutely ridiculous, but I don't know, I don't think it would be that bad. To add on, I know Halo 5 is going to be a Reclaimer Trilogy but who knows what Halo games will be like in the future? With generations of XBOXs to come Tell me what you guys think!

I cant help but wonder how many people on here actually hated ODST and how many liked it (I loved it, one of the best Halo games I think).

I've been sitting around playing some of my Halo games, when I stumbled on ODST. I remember how good the story was though a bit short, and how firefight was so much so I put it in and begin playing. All the good memories came floodling back as I began playing it and I love it all over again, after beating it I began thinking that it needed a sequel. So I looked around and found out a lot of other people wanted a sequel do it as well. So I'm here to state a claim. I would like it if 343 made an ODST 2 and maybe branch it off as it's own separate series. But I don't want a new team, I want (so would everyone else) the old team with Buck, Dutch, Mickey, Romeo, Dare, and the Rookie. I don't know anywhere else to get this idea to 343 and hope to get it to happen but here so...you know...if you're with me throw up some comments. WE ARE ODST.

So why isn't there any ODST armor parts for the Spartan IV's? Wait... Why aren't there any ODST's peroid. I understand the Spartan IV's are the new S*** but still. The Spartan IV's would still be very expensive to produce and there wouldn't be a lot of them. How much money would the the UNSC have for increasing war materials in a time of peace any way. I know they can obviouly cite the Covenant and Flood threats for more funding but you also have rebuild D*** near everything. So yeah keeping a UNSC institution that did its part to save humanity? and produced cost effective results. uh duh. So I miss the ODST's and want them back! or at least some armor. WTF 343? "Helljumper, helljumper, where you been? Feet first into hell then back again! When I die please bury me deep! Fix my MA5 down by my feet!" — ODST Slogan.

Are you tired of playing with a bunch of randoms that don't work well as a team? Are you looking for a clan that is fun, laid back, and yet still competitive? Then look no further. I'm Skirata2 I'm the Commanding Officer of the 501st. I'd like to give you some information that may help you in making a decision. The 501st though it mainly consist of US residents is a global clan. We have several members in the European and Australian continents. We're constantly accepting from all 3 locations. Another thing that you should know about the clan is the ranking structure. The 501st uses a military based ranking structure. Unlike many clans that base ranks solely off of activity and the ranks being meaningless or clans that base ranks solely off of in game skill, The 501st bases its ranks and promotions based on the members overall contribution to the clan as well as the members potential to grow as a person and a leader, their current leadership abilities to make the members rank mean a little more than just a title. In the 501st a members rank determines how much power they hold in the clan and what positions within the chain of command they're able to hold. With the clan is relatively small but growing. This means that promotion opportunities come by pretty quick. Though I don't guarantee this to happen to you, it has happened before that a member has gone from being a fresh recruit to a clan officer within a years time. Also in the 501st we recognize members efforts and accomplishments through other means than just rank promotions. The 501st has a ribbon/awards system set up. We have clan contribution ribbons that members can earn. This is a great way for members to work towards something if they're currently on an extended wait for their next promotion. It also give the member a little extra they can add to the list of reason they should be considered for promotion when they're boarding for leadership positions. One thing that the 501st does offer that most clans don't that use an award system is an award for doing things in their local communities outside of the clan. We have an award that is awarded to members who serve their communities through some sort of service organization such as but not limited to: the military, law enforcement, emergency management, etc... The 501st encourages members to take the leadership skills and apply them to life. The clan staff all feel that it's important for members to be involved in their communities as to not waste their lives away in front of their xbox. Yeah, we still play a lot of xbox but many of our members choose to serve in significant ways that can impact the lives of those around them. The clan over all is mainly a social clan. We're mainly in it for the fun. However, if you're looking for a competitive clan we've still got you cover there as well. We do participate in clan matches on a semi-regular basis. As the demand for clan matches grows in our clan the more that will be scheduled. But regardless of what you're looking for in a clan you can usually find a niche that fits what you're looking for within the 501st. Okay, so I was helping some friends with some achievements for ODST, and started to reminisce the times I had playing all the other games when I remembered something quite terrible. I Played every game, beat every single aspect, achievements, rank, several times, then had to do it all over again in the next game with nothing to show for it. The closest Any of the games came to satisfying this was Halo Reach, but the three armor components didn't seem enough. So I propose a rather interesting Idea for the avid player; what if your progress made a difference; what if in Halo 4 you got gear for playing the other games. Not just one piece of armor or a special emblem, but a whole separate set for each. For Example, you would gain the following for each game: > Halo 3 - Type-25 Carbine - Type-2 Antipersonnel Fragmentation Grenade - Type-52 Pistol - M7/Caseless Submachine Gun - MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/R variant - MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark VI - Legendary > Halo 3:ODST - M6C/SOCOM - M7S Caseless Submachine Gun - Type-25 Directed Energy Rifle/Jiralhanae Variant - Type-3 Antipersonnel/Anti-materiel Incendiary Grenade - ODST battle armor - VISR mode from ODST - Eternal > Halo Wars - Type-2 Energy Weapon/Hammer - Type-25 Grenade Launcher - Type-50 Sniper Rifle System - TR/9 Antipersonnel Mine - Hayabusa Powered Assault Armor/Katana - MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark IV - Legacy > Halo Reach - Type-51 Directed Energy Rifle/Improved - Type-52 Special Applications Rifle - M319 Individual Grenade Launcher - Radar Jammer - Bubble Shield - MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark V - Noble > Halo CE: Anniversary - M7057/Defoliant Projector - Type-25 Directed Energy Rifle - Sentinel Beam - Energy Disruptor - Flashbang grenade - MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark V - Mythic I think that players would prefer to be awarded the above rather then have to unlock them by spending more hours if not days when they already went on the journey to earn them. Anyone should be able to unlock them, but only by playing the other games. This may prove to anger the players who never played the other games, didn't complete the requirements, or had to switch profiles due to reasons unknown. However, they should still be usable in game, but through this method only would they be able to be unlocked for use in Personal Loadouts. They would not effect combat any more then any other of equal ability already within the game. I also recommend the return of the other two factions of the covenant; the Zealots commanded by Avu Med 'Telcam will make very interesting foes, and their armor matches their religious commitment, but to see how the Separatists, under the Honorable Warrior's command of the Arbiter, and the Loyalists, the once servants of the Prophets, now ruled by the Tribal order of the Jiralhanae, free of the chains that suppressed their ancient barbaric nature, they now fight amongst themselves; vying to rule the other tribes. All three of these factions have much to gain from Requiem, and are likely to galvanize under the threat of the other factions or the UNSC gaining the secrets of the Shield world. Seeing the three fight would make quite a sight; the Wild Jackals running about with almost random weapons that they scavenged from lord only knows, against the Storm Jackals and their vicious nature. Not to mention the countless possibilities of new and old Brute weapons and vehicles. Like a Spike turret, a fusion of Super heated metal and rapid succession. An Assault rifle version of the Spike riffle would seems to be in order. A new cocktail of death from the mind of a twisted soul, the Harpoon gun will leave your mangled corpse stuck to the wall, floor, ceiling, or whatever is behind you when they release the trigger. Working like a fusion of the Spiker and the Light Rifle, it can fire by simply tapping the trigger, firing metal barbs with great precision, or you hold the shot, then release to twine three barbs together and staple the target to whatever might be behind it. That Metal on Metal would not only punch holes through you, but sear the flesh just the way they like it. Sound like a party?

Hi guys it's CAMS24 I have a new annoying question for you. I'm asking this question to every person who played and/or play Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach. The question is: ''Which Firefight mode do you prefer'' ? Do you prefer the old/original mode of Halo ODST ? Or do you prefer to be free to change the settings and modify everything, in the Halo Reach/New mode? Personally, my favorite mode is the Old one. I could not explain it. I just think it was better, the feeling of making a firefight, survive... Then what's about you, everyone ?

Halo 4 better have ODST armor in it that I can wear like in Halo: Reach. If there is no ODST armor for me to customize wear then I am going to be so pissed. "Truely if I were any better I would be a spartan, but I choose to be an ODST."

Hey community! I was watching FUD part 2 yesterday and after watching how Cadet Sully and Lasky's brother are portrayed in the series so far, I have a feeling they're both going to die. First Lasky's brother. Lasy's brother is an ODST, and throughout the series, Lasky has been receiving video blogs from his brother who is out at war (I think) with the other helljumpers. Now just think, why would they include Lasky's brother, who is an ODST, in the series if he didn't have a major purpose. I think the filmmakers are building up this relationship between the brothers that the audience knows about, for a huge emotional scene. I think that Lasky's brother will die probably while fighting the Covies (I think ODST drop pods or Covie drop pods are at the beginning of the FUD trailer). If they are ODST drop pods, Lasky's brother will probably arrive at the academy after the Covies invade, get killed when saving Lasky's life, and then the Chief comes in and goes "I'm your only chance for survival". (Similar to "Come with me if you want to life" from the Terminator.) So yeah, what do you think? Now, Cadet Sully. I don't have a particular or major reason as to why I think he'll die in the war. Like many characters in movies who are like Sully, annoying and the one out of the group who is immature, they usually die at the end of the movie. I could be wrong, but I just have a feeling he's gonna die. What do you guys/girls think?

I certainly hope im not the only one who didnt like ODST, because truthfully it wasnt that fun The campaign kinda sucked and there wasnt much to do after it. So am i alone or not?
