This is a medium to large inversely symmetrical map on Forge Island's largest "Great Anvil, designed primarily for Team Slayer and Capture the Flag, however Flood, King of the Hill (with multiple Hills), Oddball, Infinity Rumble and Regicide are also supported. It can play anything from 2-8 players per team, but works best in a 5v5 - 8v8 range, due to the size and scope of the map. GT: TheBloodbath22 Map Name: Crosshairs Supported Gametypes: Team Snipers, Slayer, CTF, Oddball Suggested Party Size: 1v1 to 6v6 (2 - 12) Map Description: This one is an aesthetic and more straightforward creation, indeed not based on anything but the crosshairs in your rifle's scope. Crosshairs is an asymmetrical mid-sized arena which fuses nature and geometric structure to prompt deft hands to use strategy and teamwork to overcome the opponent. With dozens of nooks and crannies, certain rocks deliberately impede or smooth out movement. From a bird's eye view, the arena resembles Crosshairs. This arena was strongly dedicated, but not limited to, fellow Snipers. ***NOTE*** I've been having issues since May 5th with downloading my screenshots. There's a serious bug. Therefore, I'm afraid I have only one screenshot to reference, so my apologies.   4. Map Name: Incumbent Creator: Did4ct Gametypes: Slayer, CTF, Extraction, KOTH, Regicide, Oddball, Multi Team Description: Incumbent is an asymmetrical medium-sized map with good lines of sight. There is no one position that dominates the map. The map consists of a group of large rocks in the center with passageways running inside of the rock walls beside the two "bases." There are key positions in high and low places. I put trait zones with 200% gravity along the top of the outer walls along with a bunch of soft kill zones making it impossible to escape (I couldn't find a way out). It is called "Incumbent" because there is a very noticeably large forerunner structure "leaning" against one of the back walls. This map is my favorite map I have made thus far and I think it's kind of reminiscent of the older Halo maps. The aerial pictures don't show but when you're in the map everything looks a lot bigger and is a lot cleaner. Supports 2-16 players. Plays best with 6-8 Video Vehicles/Turrets Normal Hog (replaced by Ghost in CTF) Ghost (2 in CTF) Machine Gun Turret Shade turret Initial Ordinance Rocket (Center) Sniper (Side) Concussion (Side) 2 Fragx2 (each by blue and red spawn) Random Ordinance Laser/Sword Shotty/Railgun Needler/Beam Rifle Saw/Binary Rifle Fuel Rod/Scattershot/Scattershot (Middle)

Duringa major fissure in the hills nearby, much of this site went with it” Shotgun – 120 seconds Rocket Launcher – 120 seconds Sticky Detonator – 120 seconds Sniper Rifle – 120 seconds (2) DMR – 60 seconds (2) Battle Rifle – 60 seconds (2) 2 Frag Grenades – 30 seconds (2) 2 Pulse Grenades – 15 seconds 3 Plasma Grenades – 15 seconds (2) Needler – 90 seconds -2 Mongooses were added, mainly for aesthetic purposes; they do have SOME use- -in Dominion, a Banshee spawns at "B"- Defenders (Red team) spawn directly in front of where the screenshot was taken, next to the giant crate, the Attackers (Blue team) spawn up the incline towards the back of the picture. Sticky Detonator spawns in the center of the map. Soft kill and kill zones are placed accordingly. The Rocket Launcher in the large building, Shotgun spawns below. Sniper spawns on second level, the mounted turret is on the third level. The man cannon sends you to the third level. Jet packs work very well on the whole map. Remember, this map is supposed to look like s***. (JK!) Reread the description at the top to understand the aesthetic value. DOMINION SCREENSHOTS (A, B, then C) (note that this is the only gamemode with a banshee; it spawns at "B") I thought it was important to not only have a height difference throughout the map, but also keep a ceiling height difference, to create different combat situations; hence the locations of all the weapons on the map. I recieved a response on a different forging website saying my map looks like it has rocks that are out of place. Remember the description at the top of the forum when viewing the screenshots. Download here: http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/filebrowser/details/78fd2b42-c054-4ec9-9123-1541b6229382 Description: I have designed an almost exact replica of the Secondary Expo of Rokkaku Stadium from the legendary, unique, and unfortunately ignored classic JSRF, a game which oft released in a bundle package with the original Xbox console. The movement of the characters has been appropriately recreated in the gametypes as well, using 200% speed and 125% jump height. City Rush was developed by requiring the height of the end of the track to reach the hill, gaining points as you glide down gravity volumes to the beginning of the map again; forcing one to race laps. To avoid players simply killing each other, there are unlimited lives, x3 overshields, unlimited time, and everyone has only a thruster pack (to resemble a x10 can boost) and a magnum. However, Rocket Launchers, Incineration Cannons, and other power weapons that move players are available to kill off the opponent. ***NOTE: In Ball Hog, there must be four players present. 1 v 1 is not allowed, as the Hot Potato rule is in effect to vary gameplay. Unless of course you disable it yourself, which is easy enough. Since killing by any means the ball-holder is all that makes them drop it, I wanted more varied gameplay with 2v2s. There's no other game quite like it except its predecessor, Jet Grind Radio, and although it's a backwards compatible game--isn't it neat to find it in Halo 4? It is a map and gametype that I made for those who wish to play Baseball in Halo 4. It features a dug-out, a pitcher's mound, three(3) bases and a home base as well as base lines. Because the maximum player limit in Halo 4 is 8 vs 8, there is no catcher unless the fielding team is up to the challenge of losing a fielder. There were many issues discovered when play testing this mini game such as the difficulty to hit the ball with the "bat"(gravity hammer) because of the automatic pickup of the oddball. To counter this, I have turned automatic pickup OFF. Although this puts fielders at a slight disadvantage. I did try trait zones, but they do not allow to change automatic pickup as it is a gametype setting rather than a player trait. This map is made on "Ravine" and because the area to play in is quite small, I have added what I call the "Homerun Line", which is basically a line that surrounds the walls around the field at about the halfway point. In MY ruleset, if the oddball hits the wall above this point, it is instantly a Homerun. As this is not part of the actual game, you can change this as you please. The red team spawns in the fielding positions while the blue team spawns in the dug-out. There are nine(9) innings (rounds), each lasting twelve(12) minutes. This gives enough time for five(5) minutes as fielders/batters and two(2) minutes to switch sides. Thanks to everyone at THFE for teaching me the best forge tips out there. Any feedback(bug fixes and ideas for future maps) is greatly appreciated. Thank You!

I miss the epic CQB moments I used to have in Halo: Reach so I created a map with CQB in mind. !PLEASE NOTE! this map will have frame rate drop if you play it on split screen. I really wanted to make a role-play style map, so I really hope you enjoy this and here goes... The Lore: Station 07 is the 7th of 10 experimental Cruiser Class Anti-Air weapons stations deployed on Requiem. It consists of one massive thermo-nuclear pivotal gun battery, crewed by a team of five men. The ammunition is too unstable and volatile for conventional reloading systems; therefore an external, manually-operated system was designed for each station. Although there are 10 stations, Station 07 is the most famous due to its hazardous location and impressive kill count, currently boasting the destruction of 3 Cruiser class, and 8 Corvette class covenant ships. Fame however, comes at a price. With Station 07's casualty rate being the highest of all stations; averaging the loss of one crew member every 3 weeks.

Gamertag: TheJudgemodalla Map Name: Silo Gametype: Team Slayer, CTF, KOTH, Dominion, Oddball Description: Silo is a large symmetrical competitive map that works with almost every gametype in Halo 4 as of now. There are 3 main areas which may be vital areas of control, which are the Red Spawn, Blue Spawn and the Middle Base, or just A, B and C for short (A being red, B being the middle base and C being blue). Each base has two gravity lifts which can bring the player to the highest level of the map, being a connection of rings made by bridges. These higher pathways have mass coverage over parts of the map, but in return have no cover what so ever from fire below. Each base is supplied with a sniper rifle and the middle base holds a Rocket Launcher. The opposite side of the middle base is an isolated rock path that is separated from the central routes of the map (this area holds a Spartan Laser). Both the Red and Blue spawns hold Warthogs which can only be accessed by the team corresponding to the color (red or blue). I placed shield doors in front of bases A and C so that immediate fire would not occur and kill players instantly (much like how it did on Countdown). The center of the map has a man cannon that will launch the player to the middle ring of the elevated paths. This map also has a auto turret that can fire at enemies in the center of the map (only in dominion). This map would work well with 4v4, 5v5, and 6v6 due the the amount of coverage one spartan can hold. Please leave feedback if you could. Map: Renury Gamertag: XreignZ Map Description Played as 4v4 or 5v5 (or 2v2 I guess), this symmetrical map works with Team Slayer, Extraction, CTF, Oddball, and if people want it for some reason I will add KOTH. It is designed to be an arena style map similar to what you would see in competitive gaming tournaments such as MLG or AGL, which is why some weapon spawns aren't done as ordnance and personally I think the map plays better on MLG/GB/AGL settings. Renury is quite an open map, with some long sight lines, but there is always some decent cover nearby or a different floor to jump up or down onto. The main inspirations for this map were Sanctuary and Simplex, there are certain maps which just inspire me to forge and those are two of them So please post any constructive criticisms in the comments below! Don't be too harsh as I'm still pretty new to forging competitive maps. I have an idea for a real type of escape map, u and others start at one point and race every thing u have to get to the end, with every passing second the map becomes unstable and inevitably kills every one, all u have to do to win is get the Oddball. just looking for feed back on this idea.... who might be interested?
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFAFZ4lMDAM Gamer Tag: LeadingChimera3 Liquid Space is a symmetrical team objective map. It also plays very well as an infinity slayer map, or as a flood map. The element that I spent the most time on and eventually built the rest of the map around is the "Liquid Space" gravity pool. It is comprised of 12 10x10 gravity volumes and a couple overlapping trait zones. The end result is a 20x10 free standing gravity pool that you cannot fall out of. The pool area is a great fun for lots of mini games and such, but I also wanted to build a full team objective map around it. Even though the map has a very unusual central element, it is surprisingly straightforward and simple to understand. (The video clips are all from one game with many first time players. As you can see they intuitively pick up on what to do quite quickly.) I worked very hard on making every room in each base as dynamic as possible. The 2 floor central control rooms have created some really awesome conflicts during my time testing out the map.

Grab the ball and hold on for dear life as your opponents attempt to pry it from your cold, dead hands. Use your guns as you wish, but without a small army, only melee will take down the carrier.   17. Time to stop bitchen and complaining about things you think 343 did wrong, and time to talk about something 343 got absolutly right. With the scattershot blast of changes method your bound to end up getting something right, and heres one: I'm talken oddball baby. Oddball is way, way better now thanks to 343 and im mega happy with it. Auto pickup and the ability to throw the ball has turned what was once a midicre game of keep away or smear the qw33r, into some crazy intense form of Rugby but with guns and grenades instead of elbows and fists

  20. You have to make flags and oddballs so that you have to actively pick them up. Makes me rage so much when someone just trows an oddball to me and I can't do anything. Same with the flag. Accidently walk over a flag and then it's in my hand and I'm unable to do anything.
  21. I just made a new simple gametype. It's got all the traits of grifball, but instead of planting a bomb, you just run around and hold the ball. Add in passing, and it's the most fun thing I've ever created. It's on my fileshare, or you can add me or message me if you want to see it. I kind of want to make this a big thing, so if you could download it and show it off for me, that would be amazing. Also, is there an online file share like there was with the last 2 games? That would be helpful.

Just played a Oddball match on Complex, Sunday November 11th, 2012, 13:02:25 - Opponent grabbed the ball, walked into a base (Red started at this base, has the number 8 in it), went to the back door exit and jumped up and into the wall. Result: - User not only held the ball the entire match and won, but played catch with another user who was also inside the wall, playing catch significantly increased their xp. Main user: THE TANK DEEZY
