As the title says, this is an attempted full recap of the Halo panel at Gamescom, Day 1. First up it's the Halo Channel Next up is the Halo 5: Guardians Beta First Look. Lastly, we have the Sanctuary MCC reveal (Sanctuary is Reach's Asylum) The ranking system for MCC was mentioned somewhere (probably in the full panel, which HaloFollower has on his profile... which I don't feel like linking since it's not the official post), and I think P34nut has it on his thread. Soo colorful... And last, but not least, we have the Delta Halo Campaign Gameplay (Ardent Prayer). Welp I'll try to get some more information, but for now this is it. Thanks to P34nut, Ledgend1221, Edward Kenway, and Ardent Prayer for a good chunk of the information. - - - - - Thoughts? The limited edition for the Master Chief Collection has been announced We asked for it, and we got it! A Master Chief limited Edition has been announced. This limited edition is now available for pre-order at most retailers. This edition will include: -A Steelbook case -A physical map book featuring all maps that are in the game -The Grunt Funeral Skull DLC Now a little sad news for the US gamers. The Steelbook case will not be available for you. But you can of course still get your hands on the Map book and early acces for the Grunt Funeral Skull. (All skulls will be available to everyone after a month) An official price has not been released yet but my guesses are that the price won't be that much higher since we're only getting 3 items. The release date is set on Nov 11th for the US and Nov 14th for the UK. Now I'm interested to hear if you're going to get this limited edition and of so, would you rather have it release on Nov 11th without the Steelbook or would you rather have a release on Nov 14th with the Steelbook? Let me know down below! Thank you for reading! Source

Well, the Halo 2 Anniversary Trailer wasn't all that was revealed today at San Diego's Comic Con. 343 also threw out some new pictures showing off the Anniversary edition of the fan favorite map, Zanzibar! Zanzibar looks beautiful! We can expect more screenshots of other maps in the future like at Gamescom, as well as the reveal of the last 2 of the 6 expected map remakes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-PtjomjQ-Y This trailer was released today on HaloWaypoint's channel. It would seem that the terminals will be set around Arbiter's life before meeting Master Chief, and his troubling deeds from the past. Also we now know the true full name of the Spartan with Arbiter, which is Jameson Locke. So what did you think? You like?

1080p in campaign??? Might not happen
r4nd0m4ct5 posted a topic in Halo: The Master Chief Collection
According to Halo Follower on Youtube, Frank O'Conner has stated that they are having troubles getting Halo 2 Anniversary campaign to run at 1080p. He states that it is due to running 2 graphics engines at once and allowing for the instantaneous switch between OG H2 and updated graphics. While I would prefer to have it at 1080p, it isn't a huge deal. He says that this is not affecting the MP, only the campaign. What do you think about this? -
