  1. Hello, I'm Vasquez USA, Grand Elder of Fallen of Ragnarok Evolutions also known as FoRE for short. We were founded in 2009 after fragmenting from another clan and have been with the Halo series since Halo 3. We implement Viking mythology and themes into creative ranks, weekly events, and maps. However, we have much more to offer than that. Let me give you a small tour. Weekly Events We have a total of 2 training sessions every week called Battle Ready Nights (BRN). These take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7pm until 8:30pm, and an optional BRN is held Saturday night at 7pm. These nights are our more serious nights and it is where the majority of our training will take place. It's these nights when our members gather to train for clan battles and other future activities. We do map tours for callouts, vehicle and weapon placements, and more. This has been proven that if you attend a good number of these, you'll improve. Friday nights is our Custom Games Night (CGN). These nights are just a fun time to relax and get your mind off things if you aren't busy on a friday night. Consider it an opportunity to get to know your fellow clan brethren, bring popular games, or show off your own creations. Activity FoRE has a simple activity protocol: 1. New members (Greenhorns) must attend at least 1 FoRE weekly event and maintain at least 1 post per day rule on our forums. Once these requirements have been filled, you'll be on your way. New members are encouraged to add FoRE Warhound: a silver account dedictated to storing all active FoRE members' gamertags. 2. All other members must attend 1 weekly event and post at least once a day. 3. For those members that might be inactive for a while, we have a Inactivity Thread. Just post how long you'll be inactive for and estimated return time and you're good to go. Forums, Members, & Miscellanous 1. Our forums have interesting topics and helpful admin. 2. Members of FoRE are cool, fun, and mature. We're here for a good time, so why not join us? 3. We have various pinned topics to get familiar with the doings of FoRE. 4. Every month, a member gets an interview for dedicating time to FoRE and what they like about it. Also allows for a better insight of others and to respect one another. Consider it kind of a "Member of the Month". So there it is: a little sample of FoRE. But now you might be thinking: "What do I need to join?" The only thing necessary is have a mic, be active, and have a good time. We'll work with you no matter what skill level or rank you are. We don't even care what country you're from. We accept everyone. Wanna join us? The links right here: FoR Home
  2. Personally, I really don't think Master Chief's face should ever be shown. It's too late for that, but luckily, we've only had a brief glimpse of him. There are plenty of reasons why his face should remain hidden, only a few of which I'll state here: -Precedent. Bungie never showed his face. 343 didn't have the right to do that, especially in their first Halo game. He's always been masked by his MJOLNIR armor. -If Master Chief removes his helmet, then it's a sign that he's getting close to retirement. I'm already scared that's what 343 was getting at when they threw that in as the legendary ending. -Master Chief will not look pretty. He's not terribly young, and he spends too much time in his armor. To accurately portray him, he'd have wrinkles, pasty white skin, and bags under his eyes. -People regard Master Chief as something above human. To give him a face would be to bring him down to our level.
  3. After years of Epic Gameplay, Fun, and all things awesome, we decided to give back to the Halo Community with a Parody of PSY's Gangnam Style, only with Halo. Spartan Style. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrsELPyG3_0

  5. Sorry, I just got fed up reading all the negatively titled threads so I'm starting a good one... Best parts about halo 4 Campaign -The Campaign was so in depth and detailed and just generally awesome -It has been by far the best game I've ever played at getting by emotions involved and yes by the end I was in tears -The new race of enemies put me out of my comfort zone as I was getting to learn the best ways at killing the Forerunners, this was particularly noticeable on my second play through on legendary, which surprisingly I am finding easier than when I first played Heroic. -The new weapons were very nicely done and apart from the incineration canon none of them are too overpowered , despite this though they still got across through the weapons how much more advanced the forerunners are. -The development of Chief's and Cortana's characters was incredible and really made you even more attached to them -I like the new supporting characters - mainly Lasky and Palmer Multiplayer -Despite complaints from some about no respawn time etc, I personally thinks it just adds to the madness that is a Halo fight -I think all the maps are brilliantly designed so there is virtually no camping what so ever -I like having custom classes, it allows people to specialise their gameplay but it doesn't give new players too much of a disadvantage as the weapons and abilities aren't too powerful -Spartan Ops is just a genius alternative to firefight and adds more story to the game -I think the player cards as opposed to just names is a very nice touch along with changing infection to flood and not allowing people to change their vote - stops people voting with the majority, happened all the time on Reach Improvements for Halo 5 -BRING BACK CORTANA... my preference anyway -Make it ASAP.
  6. Hello everyone! I just finished the last episode of the FUD series, and the final moments were quite interesting to me. In the pelican on their way off of the planet, the SPARTAN soldiers (nix Master Chief of course,) remove their helmets to show very young faces. Now I read the first Halo novel but quite a few years ago. I do, however, seem to recall that the SPARTAN soldiers don't face the Covenant until a few years after their augmentation, and I remember their augmentation being around 15 or 16 years of age. Am I remembering wrong? I suppose it's possible that they weren't intentionally supposed to look young, I mean the main actors and actresses all look like they're still in grade school to me lol. How old are the SPARTAN soldiers supposed to be in this series?

  8. So I just beat the campaign on heroic last night. I was a little confused about the ending, when Cortana died. How did she actually save Master Chief? It just showed them inside of a data field after he set off the nuke, did she create a shield around him or something?
  9. Microsoft and 343 Industries might have spent a fortune on developing Halo 4, but that doesn't mean they've spared any expense in promoting the game. In fact, they've taken over an entire country, invading Liechtenstein with Master Chief riding roughshod in his Warthog, leaving a trail of devastation in his wake. Read below for more details Source: Xbox360achievements.org "In a ground-breaking world first, Xbox 360 yesterday became the only brand to ever transform the Principality of Liechtenstein by taking over some of the country’s most iconic landmarks, including a 13th century castle and a working mine, to create a real-life replica of the “Halo” universe within the heart of Europe to mark the launch of “Halo 4”," reads the press release blather for the elaborate publicity stunt. "For one day only, the mountainous landscapes of the normally tranquil Liechtenstein countryside became a stage for an epic sci-fi saga as Xbox 360 created a mysterious alternate universe inspired by the video game franchise which has sold a staggering 46 million copies worldwide since launch in 2001." Take a look at some of the highlights from the insane Halo 4 launch event, which saw actors taking guests through their very own Halo adventure in Liechtenstein. Awesome stuff. Halo 4 is out on November 6th. View full article
  10. So it has finally been confirmed that Assassinations, The Covenant and Grifball are coming back. Here is the exact confirmation from Frank O'Connor on the Halo Waypoint Bulletin for this Week: I'll say what I think he means below. 1. Will assassinations return and if yes, will we have more unique weapon moves, for example the Energy Sword in Halo: Reach? –D4RKNESS 360 Short version, yes. Assassinations are altered, but they’re back. The weapon question isn’t something we’re going to answer today. 2. Will there be any Covenant presence in Campaign or Multiplayer? Be it weaponry, equipment, architecture, etc. –Lloyd Jo en es Yes. The Covenant will definitely return, albeit in a completely (graphically, politically and sonically) overhauled form, but they may be the least of your problems. 3. Will Halo 4 include Gravity Hammers and Energy Swords (or adequate replacements) for Grifball? –Kalbelgarion It will be (more or less) possible to play Grifball in Halo 4. 1. I think assasinations are coming back, but differently. For instance, I think we'll be seeing some neck-snaps, knife-stabs, and certain gun-assassinations. 2. I think this means that the Covenant are coming back to try and find forerunner artifacts. Their leaders might be dead, but they might have a new prophet. Anyway, I think when Frank said "but they may be the least of your problems".... He meant that they are aren't going to be the only enemy we face. Could we be facing Forerunner's instead? Most likely.. Maybe even Flood. Does this mean we'll also be seeing Elite's again? Because even though they aren't part of the Covenant anymore.. Our good 'ol friend The Arbiter, might come to help Chief. I mean come on, what would a Halo Game without Dinosau-, I mean Elites, be like. 3. Now after reading this over a few times, I think Frank is trying to say that we 'll be able to play Grifball. But we'll have to make a custom map in forge, along with a game-type for it. And yes, Forge has already been confirmed in Halo 4. Look it up.

Source: http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/728612/heres-why-you-wont-see-master-chiefs-face-in-halo-4/ You will not see Master Chief's face in upcoming FPS Halo 4. 343 Industries, the game's creator, says it is not ready yet for the biggest reveal in gaming since it turned out Samus was a woman. "It's funny we don't then show his face," Frank O'Connor, Franchise Development Director for Halo, said. "But that's a device to keep the player invested in the character and keep the player from constantly being reminded that they're not a hero or that they have to be a boy or they have to be a girl, or whatever that is." While casual players might think there's no way to know what Master Chief looks like, the hardcore have an idea. The Fall of Reach, a 2001 Halo-based novel written by Eric Nylund, provides a pretty in-depth description of the face underneath Chief's helmet. It's under the "Read More" tag. Here's how Frank O'Connor described Master Chief's visage, in an interview with Eurogamer. "If you went down into that line and found a nerd with a deep canon Halo t-shirt and said describe the Master Chief to this police sketch artist, that police sketch artist would then produce a perfectly accurate rendering of an older man, almost painfully pale, almost albino white, with pale blue eyes, reddish hair, close cropped to a skin head, and maybe the last remnants of freckles he had when he was a kid." The Sources opinion on this: "I don't want to see Master Chief's face. It would ruin the mystery, and if he's just a dude with red hair and pale skin, won't that be sort of a let-down?" 14. Hey guys, just wondering if anyone can help me with a problem i've been having. In the first teaser trailer of halo 4 it shows Master Chief turning on his light to see Cortana. BUT in the controls i've seen it doesn't show how to turn on lights, or even night vision. If anyone has the answer to this that will be great!
  15. What new user created gametypes will become the classics. By classics I mean like Ghostbusters, Fat Kid, Duck Hunt, etc. What will you create that will become a classic for Halo 4? Heres a forge preview!

  21. Was watching the Forward Unto Dawn episode 1 and in the beginning when master chief is in cryo out of the window, you can see the blue light of requiem shining over the horizon but then there is a red flash. What could that red flash be or what could it foreshadow. Do you think the Infinity crew are going to meet the prometheans in Forward Unto Dawn. It would be awesome to see what they would look like!
