    WHY !?!?

    Like a lot of people, I bought Halo 4 BUT ... I woudn't buy Call Of Duty !!!! I'm really fan of Halo, it's the best game but 343 industries killed this game ! Why !? Just for the money of a great licence ? Or maybe for killed halo and I think it is ! In Halo 4 you can't play with talent because there is a system with lvl (SR-1,SR-50), weapons are not available at first, we must unlock, like killstreak in Call Of Duty ! Lets's speak about equipment, WHAT THE F*** !?!? Promethean View, you can see ALL the map with ennemys, the helmets are ... ugly (not all). We are in call of duty. There is the camp, the needler (over cheat), problem of connection and kill cam and when somedy quit the game, the host restart before all of us so he can kill everyone !!! The only thing i love in halo 4 are the maps (they done a very good job) A lot of Halo fans will be Disappointed. Please take the control of your game !!! Any gamer of the series knows this map for its close quarter firefights and those long range Famas shots across the open top of the map to the other side. This map brings that and more. Designed in the mindset of CTF, this map can also be used in TS. The map from its V1.0 has been modified to ease gameplay and eliminate long sight lines. The images you will see will mostly be accurate, but the spawns have been changed. Instead of the ugly forge pieces you see in the images, I have made new objects back in the spawn area to make the area more aesthetically pleasing and nice looking. Unfortunately due to school the updating of these images has been rare. The best way in full aspect is to play it yourself and see the competitive side to it in difficulty. Guns Below: DMR x 6 ST: 30 Seconds Sniper x 2 ST: 60 Needler Rifle x 2 ST: 30 Plasma Pistol x 2 ST: 30 Frag Grenades x 6 ST: 15 Plasma Grenades x 4 ST: 15 KillHouse V2.0 Created by Legit dp Inspiration from Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Map KillHouse Map Description The map features an inspired design from TC's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Map KillHouse. The map has been redesigned with competitive gameplay in mind. The map is symmetrical on both ends and features two height variations. The map features two main buildings both with a front patio. Along with a back open loft area, which houses the stairs to the second level. Each main base contains five ways in and out. Two of which on ground floor. The map features two snipers, one grenade launcher, two plasma pistols, two needler rifles, four health packs, and 6 DMRS. The map has a top middle and bottom middle. The top middle portion is attached to the main buildings via the base bridges which protrude out from the second story of the buildings. And a main walkway which spans the whole one side of the map. Featuring an interesting High-Low gradient when looking at the map from front view. Spawning is key in this map and has been placed strategically to allow chances for a player to help teammates or in Capture the Flag put the player in a position to make quick decisive action depending on where the flag is ran. No high point is over powerful in this map because of the pieces of cover and line of sight breakers being used threw out the map, leading to an extremely balanced game. Pictures are below. Here is a above view of the middle of the map. Straight below the view you have (Which can not be seen)is the grenade launcher spawn. Which can be accessed by 2 lifts on either side. Or the top middle bridge itself. We also get our first look at the top middle layout along with the first floor cover pieces. (Left and Right) Here is a view of Red Base. We can see the patio where the Red Team Flag would be located in Capture the Flag. Also we can see the multiple access points located on the left and right of the patio.To the left is the main walkway. A Red light has been placed on the base to solidify the team the Base belongs. No framerate problems with the lights. Same with the Blue Base. Here we have the look at the front of Blue Base. As this can be easily seen the base is completely symmetrical to the Red Base. Here we have the first bottom middle view. Above the view you see is where grenade launcher spawns. (Top Lift) The lifts are located on either side of the walls, though not visible, left and right or the screen. These lifts are one way shields, therefore they make no noise when used. We can also see the line of site breakers in bottom middle. An interesting piece which creates and interesting battle in bottom middle. A health pack is located right behind the view this image gives us. This is also a neutral spawn area. Here is another view of bottom middle, but this time on the opposite side of the map. No lifts are located in this area. And the health pack is behind the view this provides once again. The walkway that spans the whole side of the map is located above this view. This is a neutral spawn area. Here we get a full length view of the Underneath Walkways side of Blue Base. There is a line of sight breaker immediatley ahead and further up. This area has no spawn in it for its lack of protection. Even though this area is commonly avoided by players. Making this a good flanking run on the enemy. Here we have the underneath walkway side of Red Base. We have the same line of sight breakers as on the Blue Base Side. Here is the view of top middle from the top walkway perspective. Here we can see the bridges from each base the feel of the map more effectively. The walkway is the same height as top middle so the image we see is a bird’s view of the area. Below this photo, though not in view, is a neutral spawn area based around a piece of cover. Here is the open side of Blue Base and as we can see there are line of sight breakers so players on the other side of top middle cannot see all the way through. Here is the first look at grenade launcher spawn. And the open side of Blue Base. Here is the inside look at the Red Lobby of Reds Base. A nice ceiling height allowing full jump and close quarter turns around each wall opening to the wider portion of the base. Here we can see Blue Lobby of Blues base. It is the exact same design as Reds Base. I would like to thank all very close friends of mine who helped test the map.I would also like to thank anyone in advanced for submitting feedback to the map. It means a lot.

  10. I am looking for people to test three of my maps. Vertigo v1.1, Vertigo v1.2, and "[Enter Name Here]". If you want to test them just message my GT for an invite to a game. At least 8 people are required to start testing. Edit:I will not be online until tomorrow morning (August 19th). Based on the opinions of the beta testers, the map will be improved for better gameplay. On the maps Vertigo v1.1 and v1.2 there will be multiple gametypes tested. Including KOTH, Stockpile, Headhunter, and Team Slayer.

  12. Halo 3 is still such an amazing game all around. What is your favourite map? Construct is definitely mine. Sticks, laser and sword. What more could you ask for?
  13. It's come to my attention that there are a couple of playlists that used to have far more players than they do now. Those playlists are Team Swat and Team Snipers. The main reason for this is because playing on the same maps over and over again gets old pretty quickly. The lack of maps in both playlists is annoying to say the least. Another reason is that the credit jackpots and challenges are geared toward the larger playlists (which is pretty ironic given that Swat is a pretty large playlist). The following is all in my own opinion. Updates that should happen for Swat: 1. New maps. There are quite a few maps in Team Slayer and BTB (ikr) that would be great for Swat. While adding new maps to Swat, it should be remembered that in Swat symmetry is a good thing. You can learn a lot from maps that players have forged as to what would be good in Swat and what wouldn't be (most maps designed with Swat in mind are perfectly symmetrical). It wouldn't even be hard to add Team Slayer or BTB maps to Swat. There is no need to edit them because if Slayer works, then so does Swat. Adding maps is the critical update that is needed. 2. A possible ZB option. Most Swat veterans are of the opinion that Swat would be even more amazing with Zero Bloom. It shouldn't be permanently switched to ZB, mind you, but the option to play Swat on ZB should be there. It would make Swat a little more difficult, but Swat isn't exactly considered an "easy" playlist like Slayer, BTB, or Objective. Another argument that supports this is that Swat is supposed to be based off of a players aim rather than how fast they can spam a trigger. 3. A Super Jackpot. As far as I know, Swat has never had a Super Jackpot before. Which seems rather unfair considering that nearly every other playlist has. Even Infection. A SJ would bring more players into the playlist, which would give veteran players new people to play with. It will also encourage other players to at least try it out a bit to see if they like it. Updates that should happen for Snipers: 1. New maps. DEFINITELY new maps. There are nearly a dozen maps that should be in Snipers that aren't due to either oversight or laziness. ALL BTB maps work with Team Snipers, ALL slayer maps work with Snipers, and all MLG maps work with Snipers. The only excuse for the lack of maps in Snipers is "We haven't gotten around to it yet." If more maps came into Snipers, the size of the playlist would probably double by the end of the week. 2. More Daily and Weekly Challenges. There are no daily or weekly challenges that I know of that are especially attuned to Snipers. There are some for Swat (magnum kills can happen in other playlists of course, but it's obvious that Swat Magnums is the quickest way to get the challenge) so why not for Snipers? 3. Raised Game Time. There are a lot of Snipers games that aren't completed due to lack of time in game, especially on larger maps like Hemorrhage. Another couple of minutes should see these games through to completion. 4. Super Jackpot. It will do the same thing for Swat as it will for Snipers. More people playing = more fun. 5. Either update or remove Hemorrhage. The spawns are Red heavy (means it gives red a little advantage over blue. Yeah, you know it does don't lie.) Spawns at half-map or in the bases (rather than around the base in plain view) will go a long way in making it more entertaining to play on Hemorrhage. That's all I can think of for now. If you have any more, feel free to post them.

  16. I have found that playing on the Anniversary playlists is so much more fun than the normal playlists. It feels more like Halo 3 and it made Reach feel like I whole new game. Also, the magnum is just amazing. I've been having a lot of fun, and was wondering if anybody else agrees that the game feels better with the tweaked speed and no armor abilities. I now have complete confidence in 343 Industries.

  18. Now that you can use forge on Halo CE maps, it is brilliant, I thought that the new forge objects on some of the maps like the forerunner crates on Prisoner were a good addition. Well done 343 What do you think of forge on Halo CE?

  20. So, since I got the Anniversary maps, I've been busy forging on a couple of them. Anyone know if there is a way yet to submit community made maps for the Anniversary playlists? Because I've already seen quite a few community created maps already up in the Anniversary playlists. Anyone know how people are submitting their maps for the playlists? Have there been like, contests or something? Or is there an thread or site where you can submit your map for review and consideration? And I'm not talking about the community maps submissions that used to happen on Bungie, I'm talking about 343.
  21. ive recently been playing the anniversary map pack for reach. ive experienced each map. some of them were, of course, better than others. the new anniversary slayer brings back bleedthrough, the CE pistol as well as other modifiers. i rate the map pack at 8/10. although most of the maps are great fun to play, a few of them dont really work with reach. below, im going to list my favourite maps in order from least favourite to most favourite breakneck hang em high solitary timberland battle canyon penance breakneck is too big a map for my liking and the vehicles make it a bit one sided(if one team gets the gauss hog, theyve pretty much won). hang em high is too open, if you respawn in the middle area, your pretty much dead. people just cross map. solitary is ok, but it feels too much like sword base. the multiple levels make it slightly confusing timberland is quite big, however, since there are numerous vehicles and outposts, there is plenty to do on this map. battle canyon is a bit too small, especially with a sniper rifle on the map. however, it is still great fun due to the enclosed spaces as well as the wide open spaces. the teleporters offer strategic routes if your playing capture the flag. penance is medium sized, with lots of enclosed spaces as well as wide open spaces. the weapons and their placements are perfect for the size of the map. the layout offers strategic options for objective games, due to its multiple levels. and, whilst there are closed in paces, nobody really camps on this map. below, im including a link to my first ever game on penance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbndHtK_DoU
  22. I found this video on youtube where this guy made some halo maps in Far Cry 2's forge and was impressed with it. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen this video and if so which forge is better? Reach or Far Cry 2.
