  1. A new Evolve DLC is on the way introducing four more hunters and one new monster to the fray on Shear! Evolve has been hammered for it's lack of content, and it looks like Turtle Rock Studios hopes to fix that this month with a new DLC for the game introducing 5 new characters. There are four hunters included in the pack when it launches, as confirmed on EvolveGame.com. Torvald, the Assault, a cyborg with a mortar ability, Crow, the Trapper, who has a bat-like creature at his disposal, Slim, the Medic, an insectoid who utilizes a power draining gun, and Sunny, a Support with a keen grenade launching rifle. On top of this, a crab-like monster is being tossed unto Shear known as Behemoth. All are available on the same date, March 31st, and will cost money to download, unless if you pre-ordered, in which you'll get Behemoth for free. All platforms will get the DLC on the same date for the same price, Turtle Rock has confirmed. View attachment: SlimEvolve1.png Personally, these all look very cool, but I'm not sure I have the cash to shell out on an already $60 title for these minute bursts of new fun. Let me know what you think down below! Thanks a ton for reading!

  3. Has anyone else ever thought of different Lekgolo constructions? I feel like with their biology there's a whole mess of possibilities 343 could capitalize on. Kind of bring something unexpected from an enemy that everyone knows exactly how to deal with.
  4. Throughout the Halo saga, humanity has been plagued with deadly foes. First it was the Flood; then the Insurrectionists (Innies); then the Covenant; and most recently the Prometheans. So I ask you: Which was your favorite, which wasn't, and which would work best in Halo 5? Feel free add ideas for entirely new reasons, or support your own opinion of which is the best/worst. Thanks for all the support in the previous Volume; here's to many future Volumes to come!
  5. Here is an idea that might actually get some interest. I, like so many Halo geeks, am somewhat fascinated by the Hunter species, particularly the fact that they are a collectivist species of several worms. First, I am curious about the Hunter home world, their culture, and what other possible species or variations might exist. I first brought this idea up in this topic. So, the idea goes like this, and has two parts: Part One: In a future Halo installment, such as Halo 6, we could be introduced to a new Hunter-like enemy (or enemies?), one that is more agile perhaps, offering a new Elite like enemy, but with its own unique qualities. This offers new variety to the game without necessarily losing the core elements. Also, new weapons, Armor Abilities, etc. The second part of this idea goes like this: 343 could run a trillogy with this Hunter-type character as the hero in this new saga. We could learn more about the Hunter home world and I think it woud be a way to explore something new within the Halo Universe. What are your thoughts? CV
  6. What do you think about a game variant in multiplayer where you could choose to be any one of several Halo characters (Brutes, Elites, Spartans, Flood, Promethean Knights or Hunters)? I am not sure what I think about it at this point, but I wanted to put it out there and see what other folks in the community think about this. I would not want every variant to have this, just a specific game variant. You would be able to customize each of the characters similar to the way we customize the Spartan armor, loadouts, specialties, etc. What do you think?
  7. Boarding Hunters!! That was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. Seriously. Instead of the pain of the little dance you normally do with Hunters to kill them, what about boarding? Only if you have a grenade, though. Simply walk up to the Hunter, "Hold RB to board Hunter", and shove a grenade in its back!
