Halo: The Master Chief Collection Update Beta Before 343i releases the next update for Halo: The Masterchief Collection they want to beta teast it first. A few days ago the patch notes for the upcoming update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection were revealed on Halowaypoint and covered by EK. His article can be found here. But instead of the usual download prompt everyone gets the following week, a select group of people will get to beta test it first before it is released to the general public. Yes you read it right, a beta for an update. Members of the Xbox One preview programme located in North America will recieve a message from Xbox Live somewhere these days with an opt-in download to download the upcoming patch to beta test it. A Q&A on how this will all go down for the preview programme members in Noth America can be found here. The Beta will run from January the 23rd to January the 26th and will eat up 1-2GB of your HDD. The reason why it will only be tested in North America is to ensure a maximum amount of players during the evening in North America. Strictly business, no hard feelings A date for the public roll-out of the update has not been released yet. What do you think of this idea to beta test an update? Let us know down below! As always, thank you for reading! Source: Eurogamer

Personally I chose Operator upon achieving Rank 50 in Halo 4, but Operator may not be the best fitting for your your style of playing. This is a guide to what all Specializations are right for you by explaining all the details of each specialization. Wetwork: This class is mainly for assassain-style gameplay, AKA "Ninja mode" gameplay. Enjoy sneaking around like a boss. The Tactical/Support package is Stealth. With it, you do not fully show up on Promethean Vision, (You only appear as an outline), Quiter footsteps, and you assassainate faster, leaving you less vulnerable. Operator: Vehicular-based gameplay, playin' with the big guns. The T/S Package is Wheelman. Acquiring Wheelman lets your vehicle's health regen faster and reduces the duration of EMP. Pioneer: For ranking up faster and gaining as much XP as possible. Package is Fast Track, in which gives you bonus XP (for as long as you had it on) at the end of a match. Pathfinder: Seeking out them enemies. Package is Gunner, it reduces the overheat on turrets and removes the speed penalty on carrying detatched turrets. Engineer: Mechanically-based playing. Drop Recon, you can see where an ordnance is dropping 12 seconds before anyone else, so you can get those drops before anybody. Stalker: Spying on targets like a ninja. Nemesis, which highlights the opponent who killed you previously. Get revenge every time. Rogue: For the lone wolves. Stability will reduce your flinch when shot, increasing accuracy and making BR and DMR battles a breeze. Tracker: Seek out your opponent. Requisition lets you choose a different set of drops for your ordnance by pressing up on the D-Pad. -------------------- So which one best suits you? Leave a reply!

Hey guys ,i've recently been inactive due to me being drawn away from Halo, so here is me advertising myself for some random clan to find once again. The following has been posted before, i'm just copying and pasting what i wrote on an old forum because i'm practically still in the same situation, so here goes ..Halo 4 is getting boring. I haven't been playing for awhile. Not because i dislike it, but because i have no one to play with. I have a mic, i have friends (that don't have Halo), but there are so many aspects i am not able to enjoy because i don't have anyone to play with, ha. So, i'm looking for a clan, preferably a Military Clan. I'm looking for something that is not too entirely strict, but still takes things serious. I want to have fun and not be overwhelmed with things that don't exactly concern things other than whats going on in game. I want team work, and i would like something fairly organised, however not with an entirely massive population. But, even if i can't get this, beggars can't be choosers. I'm kind of willing to play with anyone right now as long as you don't sound like an infant and have a winning mentality. It's okay to joke around and not take things seriously sometimes, but if you're just in it for nothing, then i'm not interested. So, send me a request. Come talk to me, i really need something guys ! Hello everyone! I recently put together a video using cosplay footage from the 2014 Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle. There are a couple scenes with Captain America fighting Master Chief, so I figured you guys would get a kick out of it. I also added some basic visual effects with Adobe After Effects! Enjoy!

Hello. My name is Aaron Wright, also known as Callion18. Soon to be one of the five leaders to a clan that will be a W.I.P through Halo CEA, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo 5: Guardians (once it comes out). I started Legendary Orbital Drop Troopers - LODT with a few friends and my girlfriend, I hope to see you all join us when the time is right and when you think you want to join. If you want to know more about my clan that has yet to be started (since I don't have an Xbox One yet), I hope you'll all understand that this isn't anything about a clan, it's just for me to introduce myself and introduce anything that I'll be able to bring to you all when the time has come. So for now, I will only mention what I love to do in my free time; I love to play games (mainly Halo), I read Greek and Roman Mythology, I write lyrics and books such as biographys on my Fursona on a game called SecondLife, and I also love to listen to music that is not inside a game (it helps me concentrate on the task at hand). Once the Legendary Orbital Drop Troopers - LODT starts it will be around the time I turn 19 (I'm currently 18 until March 21). I have a facebook but this isn't the time nor the place to get new friends on it, mainly because most of my friends are not appropriate (neither am I but I keep that too myself and not post anything inappropriate on any social media you can come to think of). I hope I can come to make good friends here who'll help me through any problem, in game or not. You can be of different clans, even rival clans, I'll still count you as a friend and hope that you'll only hate me on the battlefield. This is Aaron Wright, signing off until next we meet. Hopefully in game on the same team.

Full Flood Match on Complex (With Spartan Perspective)
DarknessX03 posted a article in Halo Articles
Hey everyone! By now I'm sure all or the majority of you have seen the Flood match on Complex. However, this time the player starts out as a Spartan.. however he dies within the first twenty seconds of the match But we get him as a Spartan again in Round 3 so no worries This overall is some really good gameplay, and it happens to showcase a bit more of the map than the last video that was released. so be sure to watch and enjoy c: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jwfap3S8O7I&feature=g-user-u Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed. Don't forget to give Ducain23 a like for all of the news he's helped bring to us -
The new Spartan introduced in the Halo trailer should be customizable, like Noble Six in Reach. Does anybody else agree?

I stumbled upon this argument and thought you guys would like to see it. It may start some more arguments so be prepared! i don't know how to get a pic of it so ill put up a link It started off with person #1 giving a compliment then escalated from a mad artist person #2 yelling at person #1 opinion

Order of the New Atlas (ONA) is a sangheili clan based on the masterchief collection. We are hoping to raise up a formidable army much like our last on Reach. People joining this clan should expect strict leadership. ONA is a convalescent institute for players looking to build their skill. We see small custom games as a waste of our time (what you do with your time is your business while in the clan, do not expect clan time to go towards meaningless customs). Please don't contact us if... -You insist on yelling through your headset, at us or people around you. -You are younger than 13 (13 is still stretching it by our standards, be mature). -You can't speak English (pretty impressive if you could read this far). -You don't have a mic. -You are not willing to change your armor or emblem. -You will run off at the first sight of disciplin. Training is pretty straight forward. -team building skills and exercises. -BR skill building. -callout classes -advanced weopon training Send messages (xbox) to myself, Apex Arbiter, or imsupercooLL if you have questions or want to join.

Ok, so 343's giving away all these great things to make up for the buggy servers and such. Every one who played the Master Chief Collection before December 19th is getting; 1 month of gold Halo 3 ODST exclusive avatars, and exclusive nameplates. Now I get that 343 is making up to the fans who had to put up with buggy servers, but the servers are still buggy. Still to this day I can rarely get into a game! And I started playing on December 26th. So, what I'm wondering is, what will the fans like me get for compensation? I feel like we are missing out on a lot of great content, just because we happened to wait a little longer to play, and are still facing the same issues as the people who played before the 19th. What do you guys think about this?

Just joined the forum to make this post! I'm loving this game, but I'm cycling through controls schemes to find the one that is most optimal for my aggressive style of play. I'm currently using on the Halo 4 control layout, and decided to create this quick mock-up of what I feel would be an ideal setup for people not looking to mod the control itself. I do not care to own it so long as I can use it. I thought I'd name it as well...because like, the others have names too

Please, with all of my heart and nostalgia. I am begging for a way to join user-created Custom Game lobbies in Halo: TMCC and Halo 5. A list of open and available lobbies for user-created game types would be at the top of my list of wishes. Please 343i, say it will be so! I want to join private super bouncing lobbies, hide n seek, cat n mouse, Trash Compactor & other creative user-created game types! I don't want matchmaking to be the only way to join a public game. And trying to find friends/friends of friends to invite to a private custom game is a huge pain when all it takes is a custom game 'server list' of available user created lobbies. There are so many fun game variants created by users! Please give us a way to host custom games and have them available to the public for people to join. It would be an identical feeling of a big LAN party... Well, one with voice chat only xD - Lou This is what someone said in the Halo Waypoint forums. I couldn't have said it better so I copied and pasted it. Here's the original forum post: https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst249152_Suggestion--Halo2-MCC-NEEDS-custom-lobby-list.aspx

Hello everyone, as you may have read recruiting for the Team Barays on the message board during the summer, well, we return. We were successful near the end of summer on Halo 4, but many leaders of divisions within the clan couldn't find the time to get online for a while. Well we have completely transferred over to the Xbox One for halo. For those who didn't read about the clan during the summer, we have leaders for the main playlists online. For example, we have leaders for SWAT, CTF, Team Snipers, etc. But as you should know, the luxury of those playlists aren't on the MCC. So we will have leaders for playlists such as Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, SWAT, etc. We already have leaders for some of the playlists. Unfortunately, we will have tryouts for those who want to lead divisions. Message me online, GT: Z1kz, on what division you would like to lead, and i will schedule a tryout time. If you just want to join the clan and have a fun time, also message me. **Please note that we will have a CLAN BATTLE TEAM for each division (or playlist)** **you will also have to tryout for the team, so message me online** Thank you all and have a nice day. -- Z1kz
