  2. Personally I chose Operator upon achieving Rank 50 in Halo 4, but Operator may not be the best fitting for your your style of playing. This is a guide to what all Specializations are right for you by explaining all the details of each specialization. Wetwork: This class is mainly for assassain-style gameplay, AKA "Ninja mode" gameplay. Enjoy sneaking around like a boss. The Tactical/Support package is Stealth. With it, you do not fully show up on Promethean Vision, (You only appear as an outline), Quiter footsteps, and you assassainate faster, leaving you less vulnerable. Operator: Vehicular-based gameplay, playin' with the big guns. The T/S Package is Wheelman. Acquiring Wheelman lets your vehicle's health regen faster and reduces the duration of EMP. Pioneer: For ranking up faster and gaining as much XP as possible. Package is Fast Track, in which gives you bonus XP (for as long as you had it on) at the end of a match. Pathfinder: Seeking out them enemies. Package is Gunner, it reduces the overheat on turrets and removes the speed penalty on carrying detatched turrets. Engineer: Mechanically-based playing. Drop Recon, you can see where an ordnance is dropping 12 seconds before anyone else, so you can get those drops before anybody. Stalker: Spying on targets like a ninja. Nemesis, which highlights the opponent who killed you previously. Get revenge every time. Rogue: For the lone wolves. Stability will reduce your flinch when shot, increasing accuracy and making BR and DMR battles a breeze. Tracker: Seek out your opponent.   4. Hey guys ,i've recently been inactive due to me being drawn away from Halo, so here is me advertising myself for some random clan to find once again. The following has been posted before, i'm just copying and pasting what i wrote on an old forum because i'm practically still in the same situation, so here goes ..Halo 4 is getting boring. I haven't been playing for awhile. Not because i dislike it, but because i have no one to play with. I have a mic, i have friends (that don't have Halo), but there are so many aspects i am not able to enjoy because i don't have anyone to play with, ha. So, i'm looking for a clan, preferably a Military Clan. I'm looking for something that is not too entirely strict, but still takes things serious. I want to have fun and not be overwhelmed with things that don't exactly concern things other than whats going on in game. I want team work, and i would like something fairly organised, however not with an entirely massive population. But, even if i can't get this, beggars can't be choosers. I'm kind of willing to play with anyone right now as long as you don't sound like an infant and have a winning mentality. It's okay to joke around and not take things seriously sometimes, but if you're just in it for nothing, then i'm not interested. So, send me a request. Come talk to me, i really need something guys !   7. Antrum is staged as a cave used by the forerunners to pump resources from deep within the planet that is used on the Erosion canvas. Antrum is Latin for cavity or chamber, which is were I got the name. Antrum was my first attempt at map after a hiatus from forging. I've had no complaints so far, but I want criticism for my work, as it will only polish my forging skills. Antrum is also a modded map, by which it was modded by Lord Zedd (ddeZ droL is the map's author name, but same person), that I had downloaded. The only mods that are on this map are extra pipes and extra building blocks, but other than that the map was forged by me. The location is also great because there's more of an echo, making gunshots and other loud noises all the more dramatic sounding. The Pump house in a better view. This side path that flanks the Pump house, it's also one of Red team's respawns. Pretty much all pipes can be climbed on, with the exception of the pump house pipes, this tends to create a unique dynamic mix of close combat, and mid and long range shoot outs, thanks to the objects that can block line of site. There are also lots of obvious trick jumps on this map, but I like it, as it allows easier travel around the map. I also made the map a little interactive, as there's a breakable fence and a break-able platform that can cause foes to fall to their death. There are also many power positions on this map thanks to the many pipes, but this is balanced by the fact that there are so many power positions and line of site blockers, as well as the fact that all these power positions are exposed, with no cover. P.S. I'm also wanting to test Flood on this.

Action is spread throughout the map because players are encouraged to move around instead of staying in one spot. No area is too strong because of the many flanking routes offered to players. The strongest position in the map is top blue. However, it's not too strong because it's very open and there are two positions in the map that can counter it quite well. Top blue can be countered from afar by top red and enemy players can push up using top Gold. Don't fall in the acid.   11. Hello, I'm the Clan Leader of the Sangheili Swords of the Ark War (SSAW) which is a Halo 4military styled clan based off the covenant's ranks for the elites with a few exceptions. The SSAW Military is split up into three Branches that each and every member has joined at the end of their initiation Boot Camp. These branches have a unique weapon load out to separate members into their preferred choice of arms in the SSAW.There are only two requirements to join: - Must be above age 14 - Must have a working mic (preferably not a Kinect) - Speak English There is no discrimination in gender, race, beliefs, region, connection, or skill no matter how bad; All players are welcomed to join the SSAW The only exception is abusive language, but a solution is being worked out to that problem.   12. ok so i've been trying to access war games for an hour now and it says only basic matchmaking is available? it says 8 people are playing and only in slayer.. how long will the servers be down? i just got home from work and all i wanna do is play some games. and every time it says player incoming, it cancels and says searching for player again. it's really frustrating, i'm not the only one experiencing this am i?

  15. Just wanted to give you guys a shout out and say thanks for continuing your efforts to try and fix this great game that has so much potential. I also wanted to try to let someone know about the universal green thumb controls for Halo 4. For some reason the zoom button, which is RB for universal green thumb, is bugged. Instead of staying zoomed in, you have to hold it down which makes gameplay practically unplayable at certain points in the Halo 4 campaign. Also this poses a problem for sniping weapons because it is impossible to zoom in twice since it won't stay zoomed in. I hope you guys can help fix this issue. If anyone else is having this issue please comment and let me know, or if you have some spare time, test it for yourself even if you play bumper jumper or any other control scheme. This is an aesthetic and a Flood map. I spent three days forging this map on Forge Island to be as close a replica to the actual farm from the hit show. The map is a free roam, Last Stand type map where the humans are unable to jump and must coordinate their efforts to stay alive. The "Walkers" (moving at 75% speed) actually move slower than the humans (moving at 90% speed plus sprint) do but their ability to lunge more than five map units make them a threat still. The gametype also makes the "Walkers" 500% more durable, but still weak to headshots. The Last Man Standing gets a significant damage boost that makes it very difficult to kill him in the end so the "Walkers "will have to overwhelm him with numbers. There is a lot of open space in this map aside from the three story home and the barn itself. The home has three stories with a porch on the ground level, a small balcony on the second story, and a large balcony equipped with a sniper at the top. The barn has two stories. The ground level where the "Walkers" will spawn initially, and the second level that has a sniper rifle and two energy swords. The Humans can reach the higher level of the barn using the ladders on the outside and inside, but the "Walkers" will only be able to get up by using the lunge ability. Since the "Walkers" spawn inside the barn occasionally, it is a dangerous place to try and hold out. The Humans will have a waypoint over them to make up for the slow speed of the "Walkers" and the openness of the map. I would recommend at least 10 players on this map up to however many you want. Three "Walkers" will spawn at the start of the game with Alpha flood benefits such as the same speed capabilities as the Humans. With the people I have played this map on, they really enjoyed the gameplay of it and also the ability to reminisce to their Walking Dead days. I really hope you all download this map.   18. Download Link The attack on Salvatus destroyed half the city. With rescue efforts neglected, citizens were forced to start anew. Noble here, and man it's been too long since I shared a Forge map. This is my latest map--I uploaded it over a year ago, near the end of Forge's Golden Age. It's since gotten minimal downloads, though I consider it to be my best map. With all the hype surrounding the Master Chief Collection, I decided to take another stab at the Forge community and renew my name as a Forger. So, here goes. The Backstory Alienation is an urban freeroam Hivemind map. The setting is Salvatus, the largest city on the planet Epiphany, otherwise known as Kepler-62f. The planet's first settlement has a total population similar to that of Canada, but it is declining. A series of mysterious bombings has plagued half the city, now known as the Rubble District. Fallen buildings have blocked safe passage into the city's richer half, the Ivory District, and streets have collapsed into the sewers below. Surviving citizens have opened market, trading what little they have left for food and water. Those who have been lucky enough to take shelter in abandoned buildings rely on makeshift wind turbines and solar panels for power. Those that weren't pitch tents in the street. Rather than attempting to convict the perpetrators or make dearly needed rescue efforts, the city's government has neglected the Rubble District, and to make things worse, an apparent bioterrorism act has begun, and with escape routes blocked, it won't be long before there's no one left to fight it off. The Map The streets of Salvatus may be confined, but several locations will appear opportune to a keen eye. For example, the Town Square offers wide visibility, but make sure you and your teammates have eyes on all angles. You may want to hide out in the corner store. The boarded up doors will offer you some protection against the horde, but watch your back or there'll be a clean up in aisle two. Alternately, you can tackle the rooftop, but you'll need a boost to access the nice height advantage and the deadly sniper rifle. And be sure to knock down that crate quickly for your bud. Don't want him to be angry at you when he's craving flesh... Lock yourself up in the bank and withdraw some grenades, but don't get too cocky about the single, narrow entrance--remember that there's no escaping the vault. Of course, the warehouse offers height advantage and an easy escape, but watch out, because the infected could jump up at you from any angle, and who knows what's waiting for you outside that window... Don't mistake the sewer for a holdout--yes, you'll find a rocket launcher in its depths, but there's infinite ways in, and only one way out.   20. i am sick of the bullcrap i encounter on the garbage that is called Halo 2, i need (everyone else) some real action and stable gameplay. I feel cheated that they have taken out half of the decent playlists for along while now. Atleast Halo 4 to come back first, SWAT also... i didnt even get a chance to play most of the gametypes before 343 took them down...
  21. Hi Guys! Aside from the server issues, there are some playlist complaints. I have played Halo since the 1st game and am committed to this game and no other. Here's the Game Filter suggestion (probably suggested by others but I want to reiterate so 343 will hear us and implement): Many people who like H1, 2 &3 didn't like H4. I personal love H4 but not the others. So most players are unhappy having to play the game versions we don't to. The solution is to give us a filter that we can set to only get the game-type (Any combination of Halo 1,2,3 or 4) and maps we want. So, if you only want to play BTB but I want Halo 4 games, you apply the filter to play only Halo 4 maps with other people who also want to play Halo 4. Then everyone can play 100% of what they want to play. People who don't care wont set the filter and will get all games as they do now. People who only want to play certain versions will get to play the versions they want and not those they do not. Mission Accomplished - Let's go play some Halo!!! C HUNTER 0NE

  24. My gamertag is Pazx. I spent 100s of hours perfecting this map Areolite. Every piece coordinated into place. It has a Multiple racial theme of human bases (red and blue) a forerunner base (orange) and covenant (purple). Has multiple levels. Started off as a Lockout remake and became something of my own with similar concept only less fall space. They help flush out campers. Multiple run routes and trick jump short cuts. Only two symmetrical advantage spots for jet pack on top of small silos. Mainly a br/dmr/sniper map. 3 main playing levels the middle level (directly under top mid) is for safe spawning and quick escapes as well as fast access to bottom level. I put a lot of thoughts into everything I did. Even did halo research for the description which is as follows ( An interstellar arena constructed by the Precursors in order to determine which race will inherit "The Mantle of Responsibility). We all know the forerunners were the inheritors so I made there base the tallest. After them it was clearly the humans( john 117 the reclaimer) and I made the convents base the lowest however all bases are equally dominating over the play field. Many lines of site add up between the 4 bases. Overshelid and damage boost top mid and bottom mid to encourage use of the middle of the map. Long weapon re spawn times. Map is missing grenades in red and blue base bottom small room
  25. Hey all! I'm back again with my most recently completed minigame called "No Man's Land." It started off with a whole bunch of great ideas but I cant always meet those expectations so it is a fairly simple map that didn't take a lot of time to forge. You have no sensors but for the first few yards, anyone entering or leaving any trench will gain a waypoint over them as sort of an early warning system. Sometimes it is best to charge into the other trench from the start, as no one is paying a lot of attention to things going on across the way but there are mines hidden in between. As you can see above, this is a pretty basic map. On each side, there is a trench that is symmetrical to the one across. The cover to distance ratio is pretty generous but in some areas, you'll find decent lines of sight. If you're lucky, you can hop into cover right behind someone and assassinate them. There isn't much more to say about this map except that it was just me taking a break from a far greater project to come. I recommend a 6v6 for this map although it is equipped for a full lobby and it's in the Next Gen effect because default seemed too cheery for the concept. I should be back soon with a new super awesome minigame and this really is just a simple and fun icebreaking type of game so I guess let me know what you think about it and if I should keep it clogging up my file share.
