Alright guys. I didn't realize this was an achievement until I ran across it. It's pretty simple, you just gotta remember. In Halo Master Chief Collection, on the game Halo 3. There is an achievement for coming across just 2 signs on the multiplayer map in Halo 3: Valhalla. These signs are simply on the big wall in the center of the map. They're pretty easy to spot, it's just difficult to know when they spawn. Here is a list of the days they spawn and what they look like: - January 1 (New Year's Day): Make Love Not War - April 22 (Earth Day): A skull with a recycling sign. - May 5 (Cinco De Mayo): Toady Was Live! - July 4: BBQ at Bob's Place (this is a reference to Marathon in which you kill BOBs or BOB-B-Qing). - July 7 (Bungie Day): Seventh Column Symbol. -October 31 (Halloween): A grave stone that has the initials "R.I.P.", meaning "Rest In Peace". -November 11 (Veteran's Day): Kilroy Was Here. -December 25 (Christmas): A Christmas light with an X on it. An ideal picture is simply here: April 22nd and May 5th are coming up soon. You guys can get this within less than a month! The gamerscore is worth 15 and the name of the achievement is Elder Signs. So why pass up a guide that helps you? Go get it! Edit: 7th Column is included. Also, the signs tend to be more on the right side of the wall than anywhere else. However, if you get too close they'll start to bug/glitch.

A new trailer has been released for Halo Online with many more details than originally expected this early in development! Halo Online had better go worldwide, after seeing this I may need to move to Russia if it doesn't. A user managed to find a clear quality trailer that is about 1:15 worth of action and customization details. The game will have a system of buying items, in three categories, Standard, Premium, and Platinum, or they can be unlocked. Weapons will be FULLY customizable, meaning BRs, ARs, and DMRs that deal with separate qualities such as a heavy style BR with NO RAILS. Some armors I noticed were Cain, NI-Hard, Gladiator, Paladin, Renegade, Soldier, Air Assault, Scout, Mongoose (interesting), Mirmillion, EOD, Boxhead, Breaker, Samurai (Hayabusa), Iron (War Master), Stealth, Rogue, Ninja, Defender, Pilot, Hoplite (returning from Halo 2 Anniversary), Mercenary, and Buzzsaw. And that's likely a drop in the water compared to what is actually in the game. They showed off a host of maps including GUARDIAN, and what looks like a reskinned Blood Gulch. As well, old fan favorite guns return such as the Mauler, Storm Rifle, and the BRUTE PLASMA RIFLE. Also, something strange is most of the text is in English... While they're marketing this to a Russian audience... Hmm. There are more details to be found by Reddit, but until then, look at these juicy screenshots below. So excited... SO EXCITED. I really want this to come to US and if it doesn't, well then I'm doing something to play it, I'll learn Russian if I have to. I have a Ukrainian buddy, maybe he'll help me. I was playing matchmaking and I noticed once that someone had a Arctic Battle Rifle Skin in Halo 4 and in Halo 3 matchmaking everyone on my team, at least had a Flaming Red Helmet. Is this a hack, or can you get this legitimately? -
Which one do you prefer, Carbine or Battle Rifle? Before you go on saying that the BR is OP, think about it. The Carbine has a faster rate of fire and I think more shots, considering the BR is a 3-round burst. I preferthe Carbine because you can use it against Brutes, Grunts, and everybody, though it's not that good against the Flood.

Hi Guys! Aside from the server issues, there are some playlist complaints. I have played Halo since the 1st game and am committed to this game and no other. Here's the Game Filter suggestion (probably suggested by others but I want to reiterate so 343 will hear us and implement): Many people who like H1, 2 &3 didn't like H4. I personal love H4 but not the others. So most players are unhappy having to play the game versions we don't to. The solution is to give us a filter that we can set to only get the game-type (Any combination of Halo 1,2,3 or 4) and maps we want. So, if you only want to play BTB but I want Halo 4 games, you apply the filter to play only Halo 4 maps with other people who also want to play Halo 4. Then everyone can play 100% of what they want to play. People who don't care wont set the filter and will get all games as they do now. People who only want to play certain versions will get to play the versions they want and not those they do not. Mission Accomplished - Let's go play some Halo!!! C HUNTER 0NE -

As a true halo fan aside from already destroying kids with its perfectly balanced multiplayer the way it WAS,The armor was some thing truly special to me,it made you feel like a bad -snip- and made you want to flock it to anyone you killed, In H4 the armor style was just wack,everyone looked the same since it was so fast,and i felt no urge to really want to play the game to unlock more of its armor unlike the previous Halos,Halo 3 and reach had fantastic armor,and after Bungie left they took that great armor styled talent and put it in Destiny now,The titan class?? Man i could only imagine how they wouldve made the spartans look in halo 4 with that talent,but im not here gonna praise Bungie now,cause 343 can do it too,If they just spend a good amount of time putting the effort into every single piece of armor instead of just using an easy template for all the spartans,I mean if you need help just look at the Destinys Titan class xD (sorry again) but no really, I love what 343 is doing by going back to Halos roots and everything but the Armor was Definitely apart of that, Each spartan looked truly different from buff spartans with that huge knife as a shoulder piece in Halo Reach to slim spartans like in Halo 3,and then people would just make crazy combinations and it was great to even then see their spartans in Halo reach on the side with the vertical list view (As in all halo games) unlike H4 with its horizontal card style which made me feel like i was playing a game that was not Halo sadly,So yes Im hoping 343 would really hear me out on this cause im sure every halo player is hoping of a much better armor customization style for Halo 5,cause after they nail the multiplayer and make H5 go back to how Halo was, Im going to get bored if theres not that super impossible god like piece of armor that ill have to put in mad hours to get,like how halo reach did it ,if anything you can implement credits again and just use them to buy pieces of armor,make them at ridiculous prices and thatll get players to put a lot of hours in the game and especially if you can unlock armor from playing the campaign,and unlocking achievements,thats how you get them hooked,but once again MAKE THE ARMOR LOOK BEAST like a true war fighter spartan,just think Tactical,Military,and Warrior with sharp edges,and even in halo reach you could see some of the dirt and damage on some armor too. but if you listen I bet youll be in the right path to make some fine Armor for H5,Not super power rangers from space with retarted bright colors that made the red in matchmaking look salmon and the blue was like sky blue?? DO NOT REPEAT H4 with that armor style ever,again.but thank you for reading i know it was a lot to -snip- read but i felt i had to get this point across ASAP,cause this will be the decision for me if i actually want to keep playing H5 after you guys make the game "Go back to its roots" Side note: Whats up with all the Blue in Halo 4's UI? So 343 have shown us what the Halo 3 Campaign will look like during PAX. What are your thoughts? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62t55zbZPxY I don't see a major difference but it definitely looks better. To me it looks clearer and smoother than how the original game was. The lighting and framerate was clearly improved. They didn't change anything in the game itself but definitely made it nice to look at. On Tuesday, August 26th at 3pm ET the Competition will begin on Halo 3. 4 teams of 2 will be competing, and the teams consist of veteran Halo 3 & YouTube "Stars" (I don't know what they mean by stars honestly. Pros?). Well I've been trying to download some Modded, and hilarious maps for Halo 3 the past few days, and I've had trouble finding anyone who still has their File Share intact. I went on YouTube and the interwebs to find relevant Profiles with the maps, but to no avail. I used the Chat option (it's below), but I hate having to invite people just to see their File Share. So I guess this is just some sort of File Share center to share your Halo 3 maps. I guess this topic will also serve the same purpose when the MCC comes out. Anyway if you're wondering how to actually view someone's File Share: UPDATE: I've found that the old Bungie File Share still has some of the Map files, Gametypes, and other stuff there. Here's the method to get the files: Lastly don't just post "Hey I got maps here's my GT". Please explain exactly what you have in your File Share. Also be prepared to receive Chat PMs if you do reveal you have maps. Just ignore them.

The hunt for a specific Easter Egg in Halo 3 began in 2012 when a bungie.net user that goes by the name of "Its A Mirage" asked a question for Bungie's mail sack. The user asked a question to the participating employees of the mail sack regarding Easter Eggs. One of the employees, Jon Cable, replied to the question confirming there are undiscovered Easter Eggs still out there. "Its A Mirage - Are there any Easter eggs from your past games that surprised you at how quickly they were found or any that surprised you at how long they took to find?" "Definitely the IWHBYD skull in H3. But you cheated. There is one Easter egg in Halo 3 that I don't think anyone has found - I stumbled across it in code a while back. It only happens on a specific day...so good luck. Jon Cable" After seeing that response members from the Bungie/Halo community tried to find the Easter Egg but had no luck tracking it down. In a later mail sack (no link available) another bungie.net user asked a question for the Q&A. "What is your proudest moment in your time at Bungie?" "Showing my wife the Easter egg I put in the halo 3 loading screen for her - the one that nobody has found yet. Adrian Perez" This time there was a hint to where players may find it, on the loading screen in Halo 3 on a specific date. For two years nobody had found until yesterday when a video was uploaded to Youtube by user "Lord Zedd" The date when the Easter Egg would appear is December 25th and on the Halo ring in the loading screen had a message along the side of it saying "Happy Birthday Lauren!", Lauren is Adrian Perez's wife. Lord Zedd was able to find it by changing the date while offline on his Xbox to the required date. So there you have it, the hunt for famous Halo 3 loading screen Easter Egg is now over and can now be added to the long list of Halo 3's discovered Easter Eggs and Halo overall. Armor Ideas. I know at least 80% of Halo fans have soooooo many armor ideas that haven't been added yet as well as gametype ideas, weapon ideas, etc. but those can be saved for another thread so what I want you guys to do is just post what you would like seen for armor in the comments whether it be a picture or just a description or both I just want to see that the halo community can voice it's ideas to the fullest possible spark in fact I'll start us off. Armor Name: Titan Armor Style: Heavy Helmet: A mix between Grenadier(third attachment option) from Halo Reach and Protector from Halo 4 Chest: A mix of ODST from Halo 4 and Katana from Halo 3 Shoulders: A mix between ODST and EVA from Halo Reach Forearm Left: Mix of Tacpad and Assault Breacher from Halo Reach Forearm Right: A Jackal Energy Gauntlet Legs: Hardlight from the knees down with grenade pouches on the right calf Visor Color: Gold and Red Unlockable Skin: WARTRN (War Torn) which takes the armor and puts it into as much action as you've been in in Halo Multiplayer history by cracking the visor a bit as well as the tacpad, showing some skin by cutting up the jumpsuit some, putting a couple of energy sword marks in your chest, and Putting some blood on the armor wherever. How you unlock the Armor: Get SAW-Distinguished in Halo 5: Guardians How to Unlock the Armor Skin: Get Human Ordnance-Master Special Weapon Skin unlock criteria: WARTRN Which is like TRM (Trauma) from Halo 4 but beats up your weapon a bit too and you can get it by unlocking the WARTRN armor skin.
