  1. Hi guys, I've decided to make a few tutorial videos for those who are completely new at Halo. I personally believe that Halo is a bit more complex compared to other shooters. I thought it would be nice if i could provide new players with a bit of information about the weapons in the game, so that they could improve and hold their own in a match. Hopefully i can push them in the right direction and help the Halo community grow. Some of this information may seem very basic, so Intermediate or advance players please don't be offended.   3. I've played approx. 10,000 - 15,000 matches of the halo sega for 12 years. Enough to confidently say what halo should consider fixing/looking at Level system - this wound has been picked endlessly but halo's series was founded on its competitive nature and goal to achive. You cared when you lost! 1-50 needs it return, It's Halo 4, reach died for a reason. Apparently they bring the halo 2 ranking system back. Search preferences: Where did they go? I was getting in consecutive europe-North american games and its brutally disadvantageous. Dmr is noticeably more effective than any other primary at 15 or more feet. Saw is overpowered: you can kill 3-5 spartans on one clip. Storm rifle and carbine are clearly under-powered. Boltshot is arguably over-power at close range. These are just a few things ive noticed I'm sure many others share my opinions but i'd be happy to hear what the community thinks about it. Oh and Double Team needs its return! im sure half the community agrees.. =)
  4. I'm still torn. I'm a slightly above average player and I can't figure out which gun I do better with. The BR can nip the last little bit of a shield with it's 3 round burst while the DMR is as powerful as it sounds. I'm interested in reading about your experiences with both guns and which one you will stick with the most.

  7. Hi, I have watched a ton of videos on youtube and MLG and I cannot stress the importance of the sounds of the guns. It gives the game a more realistic approach to an already arcade-esque game. It gives the feel and gameplay more power if the guns actually sound destructive. Having said this there are a number of guns that just have a high powered staple gun sound to them. These include the battle rifle first and foremost. For some odd reason I get a plastic sound behind the gun. It could be just me, but it is possible to give a stronger bass to that gun being as it is a rifle. The second is the pistol. In Halo 1 and Halo 3 I thought they had the best sounds for the pistol. It felt like that single shot meant it hurt. The third is the shotgun. I am sorry but the shotgun really sounds like pebbles are thrown at a wall. I have talked to a number of people and they all agree that the guns just don't feel like they have an impact as they did to their counterparts. Please 343 Look and read this post.     I am so exited how the battle rifle looks but, i liked the DMR too. O well hope it was worth it

The Minor Armor customization (preferably more than what Reach had) and armor color: Primary, Secondary AND armor detail Bright, Very visual lighting like in Halo 3 Equipment, they were much more balanced than armor abilities Halo 3 grenades, the ones in Reach were way too powerful New vehicles, a flyable Pelican or other new vehicles would be cool Some of the old Halo 3 Maps like Guardian, The Pitt, and Valhalla 2. The Major More customs games like in Halo 3, customs were what kept Halo 3 great for such a long time Forge, bring back the forge heavens that were Foundry and Sandbox, and I would like to see decorative objects like in H3 and not just structural Firefight, gameplay and maps like in ODST, custom options like in Reach IMPORTANT: The music chanting in Halo 2, H2 music captivating and perfectly conveyed the epic struggle over Halo. I remember the first Halo I ever played (Halo 2) At the main menu listening this track play () I didn't even need to play, I knew this was going to be something great Multiplayer just like Halo 3, not the randomness of Reach DON'T ADD: Any armor abilities EXCEPT sprint Reticle bloom The DMR (the new BR is all we need) Health
  11. Okay so my favorite game type is BTB because of Utopie, spire, trident, boneyard, etc. But I've only been playing one map for like 6 games straight, and its my least favorite, Hemmorrhage! Its not that amazing, people need to stop picking it!
