  1. Bungie has released a video thanking the destiny community for being supportive about their new game that is launching next year. In the video Bungie has provided multiple new bits of gameplay footage from destiny from past video game events that has never been seen by the wider public. Also is that a marathon reference at 0:31? Enjoy.
  2. Bungie's next hit FPS Destiny will be available on the Xbox One market place for gamers to pre-load on their system before launch! Last week, Microsoft heralded in a new feature to the Xbox One with the launch of Madden 15, pre-loading. Pre-loading allows you to download the game to it's fullest on your system before launch and when launch hits, play it with no waiting hassle. IGN.com reports that Destiny will be the next game to receive this feature, and will be available to pre-load soon. A microsoft spokesperson commented, saying, "We’re thrilled to make Destiny available for pre-order and pre-download . . . this option was available for a short period of time before the official pre-order window opened. We’ll have more details to share soon about the pre-order and pre-download window for Destiny." So far no confirmed pre-load window as he says, but I'd expect it to be open around the launch weekend, September 5th, 6th, and 7th. So far this feature for Destiny has only been confirmed for the Xbox One, however I'd expect the PS4 to also receive the game for pre-load with an announcement coming soon. The game launches in just 2 weeks on September 9th. View attachment: 2-2x7wAIQ.jpg Are you going to pre-load Destiny, or is a physical copy a must for a game like Destiny? Discuss below! Thank you very much for reading everyone!
  3. Today, Bungie announced a slew of new details for the new expansion to the game, The Dark Below, including an increased level cap, a new raid, and more! Rumors and leaks spread like wild fire in the recent days surrounding the leaking of Destiny's DLC content, which is likely why Bungie has now officially revealed the DLC and it's contents. Bungie.net has the news, with an info page talking about and showing the new features. To start, the game will increase the level cap to 32, though whether this means the Light cap or that we'll be able to get to 32 normally on top of the extra ten light is unknown. What is known though is we're getting new armours and weapons reserved for these elite players, including a new Hive themed rifle and Shotgun, and a rocket decked out with an old fashioned World War II paint decor. This is so far all we've seen, so there could be more. New story missions following a new Guardian in the tower named Eris will be available. On top of all that, we'll receive new Crucible maps and most excitingly a new Strike. This strike is said to entail finding a Hive Wizard named Omnigul buried in Earth looking to enlarge the Hive army for the Hive god Crota's return. And to top this off, a new raid allowing you and the most skilled Guardians to slay their god, Crota. More details will be seen soon, but we have a confirmed release date of December 9th, 2014. View attachment: 2708222-dark.jpg Does this news excite you, and will you play the DLC? Let me know down below Guardians! Thanks a ton for reading, see ya!
  4. This picture was found on twitter and it's a sclupture of an alien character presumed to be from bungie next game Destiny. It looks similar to an alien character that was in the concept are for destiny. Bungie are revealing destiny this sunday so I'm sure we will find out if this creature is destiny related or not. So in the mean time what are your thoughts on this, do you think it's destiny related, do you like the look of it? It looks a bit similar to this character in the concept art below.
  5. Yesterday bungie tweeted that an ARG (alternate reality game) has begun for destiny and it begins at this site http://alphalupi.bungie.net/. ARG's have been used for bungies games since Halo 2 back in 2004 which was I Love Bees (ILB) and IRIS for Halo 3. So for Destiny another one begins and once clicking on the linked site provided above a series of dots is presented which are geomantic symbols and you are required to align them up in a correct order and it will reveal a picture. You will be required to do this for each one on each day of this week. For anyone who has missed yesterdays (like myself) you can still go back and do that one. So if you are into this kind of thing then get cracking and solves the puzzles. Stay tuned here for updates http://www.343indust...-1/#entry241436
  6. So, recently as a good amount of us have been enduring the darkness and pushing it back, we've also been collection some engrams. And, the Cryptarch as the silly fellow he is never really gave up Legendary items. Thanks to Bungie hearing the plea of us guardians, here's their response to this issue. "Cayde-6 took the Cryptarch aside and showed him a sack of doorknobs. He decoded that mystery pretty quickly. Legendary Engrams will always produce Legendary or better quality items, including Materials or Exotics Rare Engrams will always produce Rare or better quality items Rare engrams will have an increased chance to produce Legendary quality items" That means our blue skinned friend won't be trolling us all for a while... Hopefully. In other news, we also have some changes to Vanguard Strikes. These will now give us Legendary/Rare Items or Engrams aside from the normal rewards you'd recieve. We also get to see certain materials such as "Ascendant Materials" in general become Legendary to match what they are normally associated with. NOTE: All Legendary Engrams will be turned to Rare Engrams when the patch rolls out. Here's what Bungie had to say about this - "Legendary Engram items that exist in your inventory will be demoted to Rare quality when the patch goes live, so decode them while you can. But let’s be honest--even if you don’t, we all know they were blues already..." Praise the Traveller! Source: http://www.bungie.net/7_102-Patch-Preview/en/News/News?aid=12202
  7. In late march bungie will finally be discussing about their next game destiny, the discussion will be held at GDC (game developers conference) at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco. Further details below. This article is from Gamespot. Bungie will discuss its all-new and still-unannounced franchise--believed to be titled Destiny--in late March during a 2013 Game Developers Conference talk at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Presumably, a more formal announcement for Destiny is planned for sometime prior to the talk. Neither Bungie nor Activision had returned requests for comment at press time. Bungie writer and design director Joe Staten and art director Christopher Barrett will lead the discussion, titled "Brave New World: New Bungie IP." The talk will focus on Bungie's design process and world-building techniques, running from concept to production. Those in attendance will get a glimpse inside Bungie's new world, though it's not clear what state the game will be in during the briefing. Additionally, the event description suggests the next ten years of games from Bungie will be based in the Destiny universe. To date, Bungie has released just one piece of artwork for Destiny, but speculation has run rampant. A leaked marketing document in November described Destiny as a "fun and accessible" game with a "deep, tangible, and relatable" universe compared to Star Wars. The game is also described as "social at its core." According to the document, Destiny's plot revolves around an alien ship bent on destroying Earth and the "knights" tasked with defending what's left of humanity. The document also shows images bearing the Destiny logo along with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 icons. Destiny is Bungie's first project as part of a 10-year publishing deal with Call of Duty company Activision. Legal documents from May suggested that the game will be released for the Xbox 360 in 2013, with a 2014 release slated for the PlayStation 3.
  8. I'm not late, it doesn't count! We have your usual three articles today, tried to spice it up by making them a bit more diverse this time around. So sit down, get your popcorn, and prepare for- What? I need to leave the premises? Why? I don't work here anymore? That's insane! You're getting the swat dogs, okay I'm out! Before we start the link in the article below does contain coarse language, viewer discretion is advised. View attachment: WNW 71914.JPG Ashley Johnson (Ellie, The Last of Us) Responds to Ubisoft Female Assassin Controversy Ubisoft has been under heavy fire from Gaming Press, Gamers, and men and women alike in the gaming media for their decision to not include a playable female Assassin. Ashley Johnson, best known as Ellie from The Last of Us, is one of those women, as she has fired at Ubisoft according to Polygon.com. Leaving out Ashley's choice words likely too mature to be fully stated here, she is completely against the decision, saying, "It's 2014! How many video games do you have to make to realize maybe have an option to have a female be in there?" Her co-star in the game, Troy Baker, has made a much less volatile statement, cautioning the idea of forced inclusion of females. Ubisoft has tried to quell the massive response of angered gamers, but even their wide array of efforts have done little to stop people. Ubisoft is composed of a diverse library of employees, men, women, foreigners, and for the most part anything in between. They were also under similar fire for controversy over the Far Cry 4 cover art showcasing a lighter skinned man holding down a darker skinned man. View attachment: ellie-and-joel-the-last-of-us_121708.jpg What's your take on this ridiculous controversy? Debate below! Sony announces two new PS4 bundles in Japan: Custom Destiny Bundle and The Last of Us Bundle PlayStation 4 bundles have been popping up in massive degrees lately, between the Driveclub bundle announced and the recent questionable Frozen bundle, Japan has a wide variety of different PlayStation 4s to choose from, and now we can add two more to that list. IGN.com states that Sony has announced a Destiny bundle with a custom console, and a The Last of Us Remastered bundle with a custom TLOU: R themed PS4. The Destiny bundle is the same as it is here in United States, save for the Destiny logo imprinted unto the console. The Last of Us Remastered bundle includes the game, the PlayStation 4 with the two main characters on the cover, and the DualShock 4, all in their signature black. Destiny is slightly different sporting the Sony logo on it's bottom right corner as well, as it is a PS4 exclusive in Japan. The bundles will likely be the same price as your typical game/console bundle. 10. Hey everyone, if you play Destiny, and wait patiently for Xur each week, I decided to try and help you out a bit and help myself out. Yaaaaay. Anyway, let's get down to what you should and should not buy. Where? Opposite Lord Shaxx near the Hall of Guardians, when you enter, look to the left. Exotic Mains Titan - Crest of Alpha Lupi 124/133 Intellect Crest of Alpha Lupi is a chest that you will make great use of in 3v3 modes where revival is necessary and strikes and nightfalls for quick revives, but aside from that, there isn't much use in buying it. It's a very specific chest for Medic titans who want to get their teammates up faster, and that's about it. If you have 13 strange coins lying around and want to act as the team's Medic, you'll have a lot of fun, if not, there's no need to pick it up. Especially since it has a painfully average stat roll for a chest. Hunter - Radiant Dance Machines 119/128 Strength Radiant Dance Machines have the good advantage of looking very style-ish and being a great addition to a Hunter aiming for max Agility, if you spec in Agility and have the MIDA, you'll love these boots. But, at the same time, they're not that worth wasting the exotic slot on. In my opinion, Don't Touch Me gauntlets are much more useful in the Abyss despite a bit less agility. If you want to spec really good into Agility and don't have DTM, buy them, you won't really regret it. Warlock - Voidfang Vestments HAVEN'T SEEN THESE ENOUGH XUR... Voidfang Vestments are very good if you are a fan of Axion Bolt, it is certainly not a bad exotic, however, Obsidian Mind is a better overall Voidwalker exotic and Voidfangs have been sold enough by now. If you have a good Voidwalker exotic, don't bother, if you have Obsidian Mind, DON'T BOTHER. However, if you're starting on a Voidwalker Warlock, you'll enjoy the chest. Exotic Sniper - No Land Beyond NO. Exotic Chest Engram I got a Heart of the Praxic Fire from this so if you have Motes, pick it up, unless you're really saving for Iron Banner. Exotic Upgrades Titans - Crest of Alpha Lupi > An Insurmountable Skulfort Warlocks - Voidfang Vestments > Sunbreakers Hunters - Aclyophage Symbiote > Knucklehead Radar Weapons - The Last Word > Plan C > MIDA Multi-Tool > Invective > Hard Light = Bad Juju > Monte Carlo With Iron Banner around now, The Last Word is a critical gun to use in PvP. Xur also has heavy ammo synths. BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY
  11. My first thread back in many months, hope it's in the right place. Anyway... So, just to throw out there, for the past 4 months I genuinely have had no life (Don't worry I have a job now, about time as my family would say). I've been playing Destiny for most days of the week for hours a day. Just gonna skip the parts where I say I've done everything and have Maxed out TWO characters to lvl 32 (Well I did until I deleted an armour piece by mistake, now 31 and a half) and the other 31. Just to add, it has basically got to the point where I smash the raids quickly on Tuesdays, including the weekly Nightfall and Strikes so I can just get them over and done with. What I'm trying to get at is if anyone is looking for a guy who's done both raids a million times and has good knowledge of the game, and is looking for someone good to play with by all means add me on Playstation 4! I'm looking for more people to play with and also to help eachother out with whatever (Even if it's just patrol or even just someone to play a little Crucible with, whatever really). My PSN hasn't changed, it's still ShockGazm. I also have GTA 5 just to add.
  12. Today, Activision released some Destiny sales figures and overall statistics. Note, prepare to be blown away! Some people hate Destiny, some people love Destiny, and some people don't care at all about the game. Either way, the game is huge, as Activision stated over at IGN.com. The game has already earned it's marketing revenue of $500 million back within it's first few days, with a current number still unknown. Activision reported that Destiny's sales played an extremely large part in their Q3 2014 and is overall one of the biggest successes this year. Over 9.5 Million players are active in Destiny daily, playing between 3 and 4 hours each day. The success has lead to work being put on future expansions like The Dark Below, and the sequel, which was confirmed by Activision's Publishing CEO. He said, "Work has also begun on future expansion packs as well as on our next full game release, we're very pleased with the launch and continuing engagement." View attachment: Destiny-GI-Cover.jpg Are these sales and statistics deserving of a game like Destiny, which has gotten an overall mediocre response? Leave your thoughts below! Thanks a ton for reading folks!
  13. Hello everyone, welcome to the Weekly News Wrap-Up this week! Glad to see ya'll, have a seat and enjoy. Snacks and refreshments will be offered in the lobby! Again, sit back, relax, and have a good time! Dark Souls II is 1080p and 60fps on PS4 Remaster! (GameStop.com) If you're like me, and you skipped out on Dark Souls II last year, you're probably a bit excited to get your hands on the Current Gen version of the game. It has been revealed by the developers that the remaster will run at 1080p/60fps on PS4. The Xbox One's resolution is still unknown to this date, but we do know the update is quite a bit better than it's Xbox 360 and PS3 counterpart, which ran at 720p/30fps. The Scholar of the First Sin bundle, which releases on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and the last generation will include the game's previous DLC content, as well as more unannounced details. The game will cost $60 and will release on April 7th. Destiny Gets Weapon Tunes - Pulse Rifles, Fusion Rifles, etc. (Bungie.net) Destiny has some great weapon mechanics, with the exception of a few guns being under-powered and OP in some areas, and it seems Bungie is now working to fix that. A new update is coming that will change some weapons in the game involving core mechanics and combat functions. The main issue is with Pulse Rifles, which are the most under-appreciated guns in the game due to their blatant disabilities in combat. Bungie will be increasing their damage by 9.7% and... That's it. But you could be sure Auto-Rifles and Fusion Rifles were getting damage nerfs, being knocked down to about 2.5% on the Auto Rifle side of things. Fusion Rifles will now have a wider burst spread, meaning now less of your shots will actually hit your intended target. Hand Cannons will be slightly touched up on the subject of range as to not be getting kills from halfway across the map, and Shotguns had a nerf on the PvP side but a slight buff on the PvE side. And Shotguns and Fusion Rifles will now spawn with less ammunition in the Crucible, meaning get the ammo hunt fired. The Crew Gets Fixes and Addtions! (IGN.com) The newest racing title coming from Ubisoft, The Crew, will be receiving a few patches as well to change some things around. Some side tweaks are ones like the frame-rate being improved while looking through your car's first person window, and other things of that matter. The game will get a new PvP race mode and 4 additional faction missions for no charge. As far as online fixes go, PvP lobbying as a whole is being improved and bugs have been fixed that made co-op a chore. UI bugs when attaching certain car parts, AI behavior (particularly from the Police), and some car handling and speed issues have been fixed as well. There are other minute changes that will be made to car design, but nothing notable that you'll be able to see. If you want the full list, head on over to the link. In Other News: Halo 5 Beta Feedback Improvements! (343i.org) I for one loved the Halo 5 Beta but felt a few details could be changed, and it seems I wasn't alone, but as Selfie Destruct has reported, 343i is listening to feedback from US, the fans! They released some new awesome statistics about the Beta, like the fact that there were over 1 million individual IDs, which surpassed Halo 3's Beta in the Summer before it's release. As well, they showed that the final product will have a few differences. The big one is that you can turn off ALL spartan abilities in Custom Games, as well as some weapon tuning and spartan chatter options. All of this and more can be read in his article above! Staff Highlights: Weekly YouTube Highlights! (343i.org) Do you love YouTube? Don't lie, of course you do. Well, either way, if you click the link above, you will be taken to a sweet compilation of all of OUR recent videos, such as the Podcasts, of which I was delighted to be a Special Guest on one, and a few other gaming highlights from recent events. 16. What happens when a large company, let's call this company Activision as an example, buys a masterful and genius company, let's call this company Bungie, and morphs Bungie into another, let's say Infinity Ward, pumping out a quarter finished title and promising updates later? Destiny happens! Now look, we were ALL hyped for Destiny, whether you want to admit you were or not, deep down you were excited and the majority of us were sucked in and bought the Limited Edition or even the Ghost Edition on Day One. If you were like me and did the above, I'm sure you're also feeling a bit of buyer's remorse right now even playing the game. It makes it worse when content is cut straight from the game on the Xbox versions and given to PlayStation users for no extra fee, that we're likely to not see for another year or longer. And even worse than this, the discovery that paid DLC is implemented inside the game at launch, whether it be finished or not. Activision is a monopolistic greedy group of corporate scammers who figured abducting Bungie and destroying what looked to be the game to define a generation would make them a few hundred million, which it did. Activision bashing aside, how is Destiny? Well, let's start with core gameplay. This is where Destiny shines in a lot of ways and makes you smash your head into your desk at full velocity in others. Core shooting and maneuvering is done excellently, as should be expected by the company who made Halo. The loot system in the game, on the other side of the coin, is absolutely horrid. With an awkward RNG (Random Loot System) based loot system, the game feels unbalanced and flat out amateur in some areas, coming from Bungie. With absolutely no trading, gambling, or balanced loot drop system, the game is a chore to play as you play for hours on end or end up grinding loot caves on Old Russia. I tried so hard to play fair, I really did, but good god it's a horror show to even attempt, it's so much easier when you just farm away and get good enough loot to attempt the Vault of Glass. The areas of play all feel different and complex, and the enemies (even though all playing like mindless drones) look visually appealing and unique, which is a plus for me. On the subject of Vault of Glass, the raid and all existing strikes are a ton of fun to play with friends and make the excruciating farming a bit more tolerable as you grind Aksor on Nightfall together for five hours straight for that Last Word. Moving on, Destiny's least respectable area (in my opinion), the game's story, if you can even call it that. I was genuinely getting interested after the first cutscene and was quite enthralled to keep going, likely my burning hype trying to fart out one last jolt of excitement, but I soon began to notice very odd patterns, with little explanation to flat out ANYTHING, and odd dialogue that made me feel like the game's characters were encouraging me to buy another DLC. Now, with explaining, they open doors and proceed to leave them open after their ridiculously short story ends on the laziest note I've ever seen, thank god it wasn't filled with the mass amount of plot holes of a certain RPG made by Bioware I won't name. "Who is the stranger? Why are you here? WHAT IS GOING ON?!" Is what you'll be screaming at the top of your lungs throughout the game. And as for the strange dialogue, they say things like, "Congrats, but more darkness awaits below the Moon's surface." and it would make me question, before I realized that DLC takes place down there. They don't give you a victory cheer, they tell you 'you did a decent job, go fight some more, don't question our motives'. And this is coming from BUNGIE, the guy's who made the deepest and most emotional lines of dialogue possible in Halo. Maybe the reason it's so lacking in this area is because the lead writer up and left a year ago, and they scrapped the story with only a year to fix it? That's my theory, but I'm not here to shout hogwash at you. Finally, something I can praise in Destiny, the game's graphics. From the details on the enemies, to the green skies of Venus, to the cold winter air running through Old Russia, this game is gorgeous. The graphics team knocked it out of the park in Destiny and spared no dab or brush of bright colours. It almost feels too pretty for the type of game it's trying to be, but you don't really care all that much when you watch the International Space Station drift apart above the moon now do you? The sound team also did a spectacular job, making the game's score immensely impressive. As a matter of fact, it sounds so good it makes me fuming angry that they fired Marty without a cause. Anyway, amazing job on the score and overall stunning vistas and designs. Though I do wish the sound was appropriated a bit better in the actual game, as certain scores can feel out of place with what you're doing. And since I have more than enough room, might as well mention the ridiculous excuse for multiplayer, The Crucible. I had zero fun with this unless I was playing with people I knew and could chat to about how horrid it is. It's loot system is retarded to excruciating levels, as many players will state. Matches feel extremely unbalanced with Level 2s gunning down Level 20s with ease with their Shotguns and Hunter class actions. If you have the Invective exotic shotgun, and are a hunter, you're gonna have a blast dominating people in Crucible, if not well tough luck getting that Legendary faction armour. Overall, did I enjoy Destiny? Yes, not as much as I hoped I would, but I had occasional fun. The game has extreme problems in it's current state though that Bungie is trying to fix, and they have, honourably, taken the blame on their shoulders, which is admirable. Still, humility aside, the game needs massive work and was nowhere near the title we hoped for. If you buy it for a lower price though, maybe $30 + $30 DLC, you might get a kick out of it, just know that owning the Expansion Pass is a must if you're buying this game, as you'll feel extremely left out in terms of gameplay if you don't. Also, play the game on PlayStation consoles simply because of this dumb deal right now, when the time comes and Xbox players get the DLC, feel free to pick and choose. 6/10 Thanks so much for reading guys, see ya next time!
  17. Hello everyone and welcome to this week's issue of the Weekly News Wrap-Up! I'm your host Edward Kenway and tonight we have some awesome games for you! Let's check them out! View attachment: WNW 62114.JPG Halo: Broken Circle Announced Halo's novel have given the community a deeper and more meaningful insight into the events that occur in the main story. One of the most infamous of these, the splitting of the Covenant by the end of Halo 2, is getting a novel adaptation according to HaloWaypoint.com called Halo: Broken Circle. It will be written by John Shirley and release November 4th, 2014. The story will center around an Elite Splinter Group fighting back, as well as the story of an honest and true Prophet stuck in a dangerous situation. The cover shows three Elite ships (notice the green lighting and powering, not blue like normal Covenant ships) and what looks like a destroyed shield world of sorts. Since the Arbiter has been announced to hold a place in terminals, this could be a sort of side-story concurrent to the main one. Titanfall Available for Free for 48 Hours on PC Titanfall, Respawn's hit multiplayer title exclusive to Microsoft platforms, is going to be available for free for 48 hours on the PC only. This deal comes to us from Origin as one of their new goodwill projects, Origin.com says. The project is called 'Game Time' and while no information has been released on what products will be available next, we can likely expect larger titles like Battlefield 4 or Mirror's Edge to hold a place in it. If you decide to purchase Titanfall after your trial is up, your progress in-game will be saved so long as you're on your account. EA has stated that this is just beginning today, so it isn't available in every country yet, but will be soon. The time starts when you begin playing and ends after 48 hours, meaning that as soon as you activate the game, the clock ticks down, even when you yourself aren't playing. Destiny's Exclusive Content Only Lasts until Fall 2015 Destiny has a hefty load of fresh content coming to PS4 on day one like the Monte Carlo assault rifle, Hawkmoon handgun, new ships and armor, and an exclusive Strike and Competitive map. According to Polygon.com, an Amazon listing (now edited) showed off in it's detailings for the PS4 version the content and stated that it would only be available until Fall 2015. It seems odd that it would be such a short period of time considering how heavily all this content is being pushed on the PlayStation 4. If this amazon listing is to be trusted, Xbox owners can expect to get their hands on the exclusive content (likely) between September and November 2015. View attachment: E3_warlock_desktop.jpg Are you irritated that the exclusive content is only available on PS4 for a limited time, or are you yourself a PS4 owner and happy with the decision? Discuss below, thanks for reading! Thanks for reading my friends, I will see you all next Friday (I'm busy saturday) on the next Weekly News Wrap-Up! Take care Guardians.
  18. 'The Dark Below' DLC coming to Destiny this December will not only feature more Strikes and gear, but it's level cap may also be increased. We've got some details that were extracted from the game's data files. There is a 'Hard' difficulty setting suited for Level 32s. Now how exactly will this play out? Will we need more light to reach a level higher than 30? This could give us the opportunity to possibly have more than one piece of exotic armour. There will also be new Legendary Armour coming, this could be our way to gaining even more light and reaching higher levels. How high do you think the Level cap will reach? Will you be buying the DLC this December? 21. He said, "Work has also begun on future expansion packs as well as on our next full game release, we're very pleased with the launch and continuing engagement." 22. More details will be seen soon, but we have a confirmed release date of December 9th, 2014. 23. Earlier on this week I was playing some Skirmish in the Crucible. I was just trying to complete a few more matches to complete this bounty, and not one match was lost. I continued to play Skirmish and me and my team kept destroying our opposition. Why was I continuously winning in SKirmish? I recorded a bit of gameplay from a match and discovered the key points that allowed me and my team to achieve victory every time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIZ4kTFFsOc&feature=youtu.be Teamwork Sticking with your team is more important in Skirmish than in anything else. This game type relies solely on teamwork. If you're fighting beside your two other team members, you're unlikely to fail. When close to each other, reviving a downed guardian should be no problem. Someone goes down, you can easily pick them up whilst you're other team member deals with the enemies. This is especially useful when the opposing team is split up, you can take them down one by one with ease. They won't have a chance to break your defence. Ammunition Although this may seem obvious, your special and heavy ammo is extremely important. These are what give you an advantage over your enemy. No matter how strong your teamwork is, you'd be useless if all your bullets are harmlessly pinging of your enemies' armour. Your special ammo is important because when you are in a situation where you have to deal with an enemy alone, it's most likely your best shot. Pulling out a shotgun or hand cannon when you see an enemy up close would be one of the first things you'd think of, but it'd be useless without enough or any ammo at all. Heavy ammo is great. If your enemies are gathering together to launch a counter-attack, you can put them back in their place by blowing them to hell with your rocket launcher. It's your choice whether you use a rocket launcher or machine gun. Navigation You want to navigate safely through the map with your team. This means being cautious about what routes you take and how you approach them. It's always good to be on the move, especially sprinting. An enemy sniper will struggle to catch a fast-moving target. When moving around a corner, stick right to the edge so you get around it as soon as possible, you wouldn't want to get caught at the last second. Make sure you are sliding when necessary. If there is heavy gunfire and explosions around you, make sure you are either crouched behind cover or sliding out of the way. Be cautious when using lift, don't make yourself a target with it. Subclass I only have experience with a Titan, so i'm going with that. Your subclass means a lot. With the Titan class, there is Striker and Defender. Striker is the default subclass. Although there are a few similarities between Striker and Defender, there are many big differences which can have an effect on your game. Make sure that you choose the subclass that you know you are going to perform better with, and try out different upgrades to see what you play with best. This is a more detailed version of my video. As mentioned in the video above, I'm no 'pro' or anything, there are thousands that can play better than me. I made this video and thread to help increase the chances of victory for anyone playing Skirmish. Thank you for watching/reading.
  24. I made a post about bungie's new game "Destiny" and how it could possibly connect to an ancient belief called "The seven heavens" Which can be read here. Oakley HiDef from THFE contacted me to have a discussion about this theory as he was interested with it and wanted make a video about it. Bungie have a history of connecting their video game story's to biblical and mythological events, so for any of you who are interesting with the vast depths of bungie's story telling this may catch your interest. So here is the video about Oakley discussing mine and his theories about Destiny and the seven heavens. A big thank you to Oakley for taking an interest in my post and taking the time discussing it, making a video and sharing it
  25. Video game journalist and video game show host Geoff Keighley has made a post on his twitter page that a new exclusive look at Destiny will be shown tomorrow at 11pm ET along with an announcement from Bungie. As you can see from the twitter post no specific details regarding the exclusive look and Bungie's announcement has been given. I personally think Bungie's announcement will be the release date for the beta or the game itself, or possibly both. So stay tuned tomorrow for a new Destiny reveal and announcement.
