Revolution of Gaming is a large gaming community that was started in 2008. A community built by gamers, for gamers who have a passion for playing video games as a fun social activity. All built around a structure that is fit for never ending growth and to create social experiences that inspire action. A new member has the option to participate in the 'military like' rank structure. Not required, you can still join and just game as a gamer. I need a clan, I am tired of playing with the random Halo 4 people who don't know how to play as a team, and have no mic. I am looking for organized clan with ranks, I like the idea of ranking up. I am looking for an established clan on Halo 4, so at least 30-40 people or more. I am looking for a clan that can make me a better player, and in turn I will do my best to make it a better clan. So I built a decent version of lockout/blackout (what ever your preference) its kind of a hybrid from both but definatly a fun and well constructed map. I spent like 10-12hrs on it but now i want to play on them and there is nobody but like 2 people that will play customs (on my list). Hello Halo gamers my name in Jon people call me Froh my gamer tag is FHG DivineFroh and i have a new Halo gaming community. i was in a community sometime ago and it was really fun we had squad battles and tornaments for microsoft points and i made a bunch of new friends but there was one problem. the leader, he was a complete tool and started black listing people for the smallest reasons so i left and so did a group of friends who i made while in that community. So i thought "Hey why don't you make your own community but have more then one leader so there can be discussions and votes." so my friend Chris and I created Forever Halo Gamers (FHG). We have our own website, SquadTag, and right now FHG is open for Halo 4 and Reach for the people who don't have Halo 4 yet. FHG is open to anyone age 13+ also you dont have to be the best to join you could be a n00b and we will help you get better at the game. Hi guy's, i thought i would release a very special interview, Azaxx's interview....his FIRST interview (i think) So here you are guys, please enjoy And BIG thanks to Mr.Wolfy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaatisu: Hey 343 community! Wolfy here with the resident Mudkip, Azaxx, and it's time for another crazy interview! Okey, first question. Where will our mudkip be spending most of his time on Halo 4? Azaxx: Firstly I would spend quite a while in the campaign, playing the story, getting achievements and unlocking all of its hidden secrets. But after a while I'll move onto War Games, and just stay there until Halo 5 comes out, because I love my multiplayer xD Kaatisu: Next one is: what are you most excited about on Halo 4 in the terms of new features, weapons, graphics, vehicles, etc, basically anything related to Halo 4 at all. Azaxx: I am equally excited with how they are going to make Halo 4's story different to the previous trilogy. That is, 343i states that since this is gonna be a bit of a dark trilogy, for a while. So I want to see how they achieve that statement. And secondly, how they tie in the UNSC Infinity with all game modes, interested in that Kaatisu: Personality finder isssss: if you were asked to pick a set of lyrics from a song to describe your life or how you feel most the time what would you answer? Azaxx: This question took me forever to answer, as I don't pay attention to lyrics, I'm more of a music listener. As in I listen to the sounds rather than understand them. But going over one of my favourite songs just then, I found that the song Watercolour By Pendulum relates to how I feel on a somewhat daily basis., "When I'm falling down, will you pick me up again, when Im too far gone, and im dead in the eyes of my friends". A little sad it may be if you understand what I mean, but I have great friends here and in real life to keep me going Kaatisu: Do you have any interesting side hobbies? Azaxx: I don't have much fun outside the forums and school, but when I can enjoy myself, I like to draw and paint. That is I only draw with greylead and pen, and paint with spray paints, which some older members may remember me posting some images of them on the forums. But that's as far hobbies go Kaatisu: What made you decide to use a mudkip out of all the other options? Azaxx: When I first made this account ages back, I was desperate for an image. So after sifting through maybe 700-ish images on my computer at the time, I remembered that I had a mudkip pic which I've used bedore in yet another folder, so again after sifting through a lot of photos, I found it. Put it up and I couldn't be bothered finding another image through all the ones I had, so I kept it. I think I changed it once, for about 2 weeks. But was so used to the mudkip, I changed it back. Can't remember what the image was, oh well. Mudkip rules. Kaatisu: Well that's all for this interview and gratz to argueably the most popular member of this site on getting shoutoutted! After reading recent topics by Twinreaper and Absolute Dog i feel as if i have to share my own opinion of our great community. I have been here for little over a month, and have loved almost every second of it. And while we have improved as a community in my time here, i still see a division amongst ourselves. Whether it be between MLG and Casual gamers , the "hatred" of campers and "noobs", the people who know alot about Halo's lore talking down to those who dont know much or ANY other opposites. These people are gamers just like you and i, respect that, and respect them. We should all come together under ONE SIMPLE FACT, we love games. We are all here because of our love of video games, so lets not fight, show the love to one another, talk to each other as equals, dont go around saying "im better then you cause i have a higher K/D ratio" or anything like that, we need to come together more and be happy I have been to many forums in my time, and i see the most potential in our great community. So come on friends....... SHOW THE LOVE <3

Team Captain: Team Members: (posted here after they join [do that below]) The games played: Halo 3 Halo: Reach Minecraft (Possibly) COD4: MW (Possibly) COD: MW2 (Possibly) COD: MW3 (Possibly) Gears 3 (less than possibly) Sonic and Sega: All Stars Racing (Possibly) Trials: Evolution (Possibly) Doritos: Crash Course (If you don't have it, you can find it on XBL for free) You can sign up for membership in the area below, and if the team has not yet selected a captain, you can sign up for that below too. Captains are basically just people who cover for the generals if the generals don't have the game, or can't make the playdate. Times will be posted after the game, descriptions will be posted after the name of the game, describing what gametyes/maps/and variables we will be playing with. So! Who is up for it!? EDIT: If we're lucky, I will be able to make a video of these events and post it on here, to entertain those of you who want to see it. The victors will not be receiving any special prizes for winning, however they will get bragging rights (until our next event?). Ok this one has been long in the making, and more then deserved. The next guy was the first person i actually met on the site, not my first friend ,but he did become my best bud on here now Soo without much more to say, i give you my next Shout Outee, AZAX :hug: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So as many of you have noticed by now, Aza and i are good friends, i love our conversation, which are like daily btw, and i love how he is ALWAYS willing to listen to what i have to say, just as i am ALWAYS willing to listen to him. He is a great friend to me and to MANY others out there in our great community, so it was only natural to write this up for him, he more then deserves it. He has a great sense of humor and is one of the coolest Brony's i've met XD.He helps people with their problems and is always lending an ear.He has made MANY friends in his time here, and will continue to make many more. I hope, as many of you do, That Aza stays on our great community for many more years to come, the community would be a lesser place without him, and i dont know if i can go one day without seeing that bloody mudkip Aza is a good bloke who deserves nothing less then good friends and this shout out. Hey guys, sorry this is a little bit late, but my internet connection has been really sucky :/ Ah well, todays Shout Out will feature a good friend of mine, who always makes me laugh She lives in the land of potatoes, lol XD, and is always up for a good talk Thats right, it's Cheasemonster, or CHEEEEESE XD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So as i have already said, Cheeese is a good friend of mine who is always up for a good talk AND a laugh, which she does very well XD I have known her for probably 3/4 of the time i have been here, and those 3/4 have been the best 3/4 i have spent here lol XD She knows how to make me, and many other people laugh which is an EXCELLENT trait to have in our great community, trust me, i know cause im not funny and i suffer the consequences of awkward silences, Cheeese and i have had many good chats in the last 2 weeks which have been just great Her, Ryu and Aza make up my circle of best friends on here and im not afraid to say it, as i know many of you have made good friends with these people also. I hope you all treat her as i do, with great respect and admiration for the great member she is And make sure you send her potato peelers for her Birthday, i here there is a shortage in Ireland lol, kidding. Hey again guys, and welcome to Volume 6 of the Community Shout Outs. It's been a good week so far and im hoping to make it even better for one special person ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ok this next person that i will be talking about is an MLG expert (yes you already know the name now, but i must continue this) he is a Brit, and a good friend. Yes that's right, i am talking about Mr. Biggles Mr.Biggles is our communities MLG expert, but he is also more then that, he is a good friend to many of us, including yours truly. (aka MEEEE!!!!) He is a great guy to have a chat with and is more then welcoming to the new people in our community, which is a trait that i found extremely great when i first arrived at our Great Community He is always willing to have a chat about almost anything you can think of, especially Halo matchmaking (cough* MLG *cough). Mr .Biggles also provides our community with much needed news about Halo 4, something we ALL appreciate, especially me I have known him since my second day in our Great Community and have found him to be a great bloke to hang out with (in the shout box) as have many of you great people, and for the last 2 weeks of my time here, he has been a consistently good friend. So in conclusion, Mr.Biggles is a great bloke to hang out with and have a few games of Halo with. So here's to you Mr.Biggles, you have more then deserved this (p.s Dont let him get his hands on the sniper, for the love of god!!!, do not let him get it!!!) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok guys, the next shout out will be tommorrow and it will be the last one until next weeks Shout Outs. Hey guys, sorry im a little late with this one, i've been feeling sick lately but i have managed just enough time to write this in between blowing my nose, the doctors and listening to that song that Azaxx got me hooked on:P Ok todays Shout Out will be going to someone who we ALL know, the Guardian of our forums who protects us from troll,s and just plain......"unfavorable people"....... He is a friend to most of us and a leader to all, yep your right im talking about Mr T!!! Naa, just kidding Its Absolute Dog!!!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- During my first days here in our great community i posted too fast and had a talk with AD, and im not afraid to say i screwed up , i learned my lesson and found that our guardian of the forum does his job bloody well! He is a friend to most of us, and a leader of a great community, one who should be looked up to, to serve as an example of how we should behave. I have had quite a few talks with AD and can say ,without wavering ,that he is definatly a good bloke in my books, as im sure he is in many of yours. Although AD's job is to look after our forum, to prevent trolls and such from getting in, that doesn't mean he doesn't like to chat and joke with all of us, as im sure many of you already know. Not afraid to hang out with us average forum goers and host a playdate or 2, he knows how to liven up the mood when not being serious. His sole job is to lead our community and protect us from mean evil people whose solely want to annoy and provoke us all, and as i have said before, he does a great job, obviously with the assistance of our other great community moderators Absolute Dog is a great leader and a good mate to all of us, he should be looked up to and given respect for the kind of people he has to deal with (trolls and such), He should be thanked for the awesome job he does everyday. I know i will.........Thank you Absolute Dog, for your great service to our community Also thanks to all our other moderators who have to put up with similar people ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alrite guys, the next Shout Out will be tommorrow sometime, im not sure exactly when though. Hey guys, time for another Shout Out XD First off i wanna say thanx for all the positive feedback and i hope to continue this way into the future, perhaps even start another "series" similar to this one, if it does well overall. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK, today's Shout Out goes to a good friend who has a thing for Cats.............and Skyrim,coincidence? I think not If you haven't guessed yet, it's Ryu Hayabusa......................... I first met Ryu on my first day in this great community of ours, and i instantly knew we would get along, and sure enough he became my first friend. For those of you that know him, you can testify that he likes to talk in 3rd person (Skyrim much?) a trait we all get a good laugh out of, which is another reason i chose him as my second shout out, because a community NEEDS comedians. They liven up the mood, giving us all good laugh , even during a serious debate. From what i've seen he is VERY welcoming to new people and i recommend talking to him if your new, i'm sure he will make you feel as welcome as i did. Being welcomed when your new to this community really does make a difference, first impessions last a life time, and my first impression of Ryu was of a good bloke (sorry for Australian Slang ) Its people like Ryu that help the community bond in laughter and debate. Which brings me to my second reason for choosing Ryu as my second Shout Out. Debates. Ryu is always up for a good debate, as i have recently found out myself XD (Dogs Rule By The Way) and the best part is he keeps his cool, even after a debate get's "heated" which is an extremely commendable trait to have, especially on this online world of Trolls, where a single comment can create a firestorm of hate. Other then that, Ryu is always up for a good chat and is a good friend of mine. So i hope you all treat him as well as i do and take the time to get to know him Peace Out People ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stay tuned for my next Shout Out, which will be tomorrow around same time as this one. Hi guys and welcome to the last Shout Out of the week. It has been an excellent first week and i wish i could give all of you Shout Out's Im looking forward to writing next weeks Shout Out's just so i can get these people recognised for the awesome community members they are. I would like to give special mention to Vitamin PWN, one of our many great moderators, for pinning the new "Community Shout Out Index" so that new readers can gain quick access to previous Shout Out's, so thanx Vitamin I will provide link to the index at the bottom of this Shout Out. Ok on to the Shout Out --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I chose this next person as my last Shout Out for the week for many reasons, unfortunately i cant tell them all, i have to keep this short. He has been a very good friend of mine from the start. Many of you know him by the book about his clan "The Burning Wolves" , while others know him for his witty sense of humor. Either way, many of us know him as a good person who definatly deserves this Shout Out. If you haven't guessed it yet, then you have been living under a rock (just kidding) Thats right, i have chosen Mr.Wolfy.......... From the first day i joined our great community, Mr.Wolfy has been a good friend of mine, one who has been happy to chat whenever he is online, which is fantastic because if you haven't guessed, i cant shut up But seriously, Mr.Wolfy oozes enthusiasm and friendliness a trait i find very admirable in a person. He is always up for a quick game of Halo or a chat or anything else that can help ease those boring days. He is also the author of a great fan made book based on his clan "The Burning Wolves" a group of the roughest, toughest and meanest mercenaries in all of Halo ( He paid me to say that ) I had the honor of collaborating with him, and i can tell you, he has Excellent ideas (I will link the thread containing a chapter to his book at the bottom of this Shout Out) Mr.Wolfy enjoys helping people with any issues they may be having and has been consistently friendly to new community members, which as we all know, is a massive help in getting settled into our Awesome Community XD For the few days i have been involved in our great community i have witnessed him make many friends, which is the true goal of our community (in my belief) "to make good friends who share an interest in Halo, and any other games" It is for these reasons and many more that i have chosen Mr.Wolfy as my last Shout Out of the week. He is a great,considerate,friendly and talented guy, so if your a new member of our community, i recommend you get to know him In conclusion, our community is definatly stronger with Mr.Wolfy in our ranks. He truly is a model member of our Great Community. Hi guys. after thinking for a bit i decided i would do a little thing where i would, 3 times a week, talk about certain people in this great community of ours who i think contribute greatly to the overall theme of "community". Now the First person i have to talk about, is quite simply, a Genius. He has one of the most popular threads on this site and is a friend. That's right, I've chosen........The Director XD ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK, first off i have to say that The Director is a great guy overall, but he really shines when it comes to questions, he can answer pretty much anything you can think of with 100% accuracy, he has only been stumped once. The Ask the Director Thread is one of the most popular running threads on the site, with everyone testing his knowledge with simple and complex questions and quizzes, too which he can reply with seamless accuracy. The Director truly is the embodiment of Google. But it isn't just this that makes him a great community member and role model, but also the fact that you can approach him with pretty much anything and he will give you his valued opinion, which is just fantastic. I have had many great in-depth conversation with him and it was awesome to talk to someone who really listened to what you had to say before responding with witty humor and great info ( he is a walking encyclopedia) about many, many topics. I'm sure many of you have noticed what i mean, especially those of you who take the time to talk to him, and not just to ask questions to get the award. Its people like The Director that make this site a community. So in conclusion The Director is an excellent community member who deserves more then awards and rank... he deserves respect, just as much as any staff member on this site. Introduction to the Official 343i Community Map Pack

Well, the time is finally here. The announcement of the 343i Community Map Pack, dubbed "The Director's Cut" by Absolute Dog! This Map Pack includes 5 maps, three of which have never been seen before by anyone on this forum! The map pack is released! http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/11224-its-here-at-last/ These maps are intended for usage in 343i.org Community Playdates, so if you reinvent one of the maps and it seems more playable, don't forget to let party leader know during the playdate so that your version of the maps can be played as well. Here is a brief summary of the maps that will be in the map pack. Walkway: If you were part of the first ever forge contest on the forum, you may remember the map Walkway. This map is a multi-tier map that supports every gametype with the exception of Invasion. It can support up to 16 players FFA and in Red and Blue teams. Tenochtitlan: Tenochtitlan was released earlier this year, and supports every gametype except for Invasion. It is a map that focuses on the advantages of height, and includes some rather humorous aesthetics. This map was made mainly for team slayer, but supports free for all as well. Up to 16 players in Red and Blue teams and in FFA. The Playground: This map has replaced Equilibrium. This map was originally made for Team SWAT, but was recently made into a full blown battleground for Team and FFA gametypes. It has 3 levels, and is COMPLETELY symmetrical. Playable with Red and Blue teams, this map is made for all team and ffa gametypes with the exception of invasion. Shreya's Bridge: This recently completed map was done almost completely offline, and has not been seen by any member of the forum. This map is made for BTB, but is still fun to play in FFA. It is a bridge, as the name suggests, that is between two bases. The arrangement of cover as well as the design of the bridge makes it a rather unique map. It supports every gametype except invasion, and up to 16 players in Red and Blue teams as well as FFA. High Tide: This map was donated by Colin Goree (aka Nocturnparadox) and includes a game type as well. This map is considered "completed" so if you decide to make changes to it, then you will have to change the name of the map itself. Remember, if you don't like the maps after they are released, feel free to make some changes. Add a wall here, or a scorpion there. After this map pack is finished, I will start working on maps that are "Heavy" and made for BTB. (Also, an internet high five will be given to whomever can tell me who Shreya's Bridge was named after. ;D)- 39 replies
