  1. Hey guys! If you stumbles across this thread, then lucky you! Here, We can discuss any Halo 5 ideas with the community, And no matter how crazy they may be, We would still love to see them! So please take your time and think of ideas. Im sure everyone wants to hear them! RULES 1. Dont be rude, Discuss things in a mature manner. 2. Dont spam your ideas over and over. 3. Have fun discussing your ideas, Be known for your creativity! Here is an idea from me to get us started! I think we should be able to make 1 specific item for a custom game we made, Like teacher! I always thought it would be cool if the teacher ran around with a sharp feather pen that he stabs the students (Zombies) with and crosses their name out with their blood on a piece of paper... Weird idea, I know. But we need a little more humor for custom games.
  2. Hosting events every weekend has its ups and its downs. You guys should already be feeling it by now that playing the same games and gametypes every weekend of every month is boring and that's why we've been doing Halo Wars a lot more recently and stuff. So I wanna give you guys a chance to vote for our Special Event for the first weekend of August. So please, cast your vote and whatever wins... Wins! Voting will close when the voting closes. And then it might reopen again who knows! So get to voting! This message brought to you by your Forum President.
  3. Do you miss the original Halo Maps? Well I do, and I'm going to do something about it. As of today, you should post your map remakes here and allow others to play your map. As for me, I will be posting my progress on map remakes. The current map I am working on is Chiron TL-34 from Halo CE. I have laid out the foundations of the map and I have started to look at original map images to get an idea of the map "theme" After I get the basic map finished, I will upload some screenshots of the map. Then I will host a testing play date. I hope that you all will also post your remakes here.

  5. Hello! Ghosts of Razgriz's Second in Command, RAZGRIZ GIRL, is here and I'm looking for recruitment's. Hold on though! There are a few rules: 1. Must be 17 or older. 2. Must have a positive K/D. 3. Active Active Active. I cannot stress this enough. 4. Must have a headset. We use a military style ranking system and there are plenty of ways to rank up quickly. Alot of spots also need to be filled so odds are good! We're hoping to kick start this thing with a bang! Reply to this with your gamertag and age to be reviewed and I'll get back to you within a day or two with more details. We are both a clan AND a gaming community just to let you know!
  6. Hello, I just noticed today, my Oddball, King of the Hill, and Community Forge Island are now gone from my War Games list, but can only be obtained in Team Objective now. They disappeared just today, anyone have help or a solution? This is for Halo 4
  7. I am a part of this large global community called KSI (which stands for Knowledge Strength Integrity) and we could use some more recruits. We have many Regions, Clans, and Rankings, I am the 4th lieutenant of the Solace clan in Ground Zero(GZ). In our clan we have great leaders, we are very cooperative, and you can easily make new friends. We have many gamenights together and/or with other clans, we have teams (slayer, swat, snipers, etc.) and we have real tournaments for microsoft points. But the only bad thing is we have an age limit to where you have to be 16 or older (or at least close to 16). If anyone is interested to join or would like more info, please message me at anytime at my gamertag: KSI Minnow.
  8. SMC ~Sanctus Metus Community~ Hello Everybody. This thread will contain any information that you may want to know in regards to joining our community. I will try to keep everything brief, simple and informative - However if you want more information please feel free to add any gamertag listed at the bottom of this post. >>What is SMC? SMC is abbreviated to Sanctus Metus Community. The name is Latin, and depending of the time period, Sanctus Metus will either translate to "Holy Fire" or "Seven Sins". It should be noted that, as the name implies, we are a Community not a Clan. We focus more on having friends to play various games with and talk to, rather then being extremely one game biased and competetive. >>What will I need to do? There are no mandatory requirements. We dont "train" and have "meetings" on a weekly basis. A meeting will only be called if an issue has been raised that requires attention. Updates will be sent via message from our community gamertag, which will let you know of any upcoming events. >>What Games and Events are played? We primarily play Halo, Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat, Minecraft and others. We have events every week or so, Such as a Halo 4 Custom Game Night or a Mortal Kombat Tournament. They are fun and help us become closer through the Community. >>Whats Unique about SMC? We offer a fair ranking system, where promotions are given by time as a member and how often you take part in community events. We also offer a Badge / Commendation system. These badges are awarded by high ranking members for achieving certain things, such as taking part in a community event or winning the Mortal Kombat Tournament, among many others. These are placed in your Bio for bragging rights. >>Can you join? Yes. As simple as that. We only ask you keep a civil tounge, respect all members and get along with everybody. So if you are interested in joining, Feel free to add any Gamertag below. Also be sure to check our Website run by our co-founder, although it is still in the Beta stages. We very much look forward to hearing from you! ~ KannibalxClown / Leading Member and Founder ~ DrukeSkywalker / Co-Leader and Website Admin ~ De4thDe4ler 666 / Co-Leader Website - http://SMCGamingHub.Webs.Com Memorable Quotes: "Lock, Stock and Roll out. 11. FDS stands for Fatal Death Squad. Formed in 2007 after the release of Halo 2, FDS continues to strive forward with it's message of gaming with honor and integrity. This is what drew me to FDS. It's a community where you can login, go to the community gamertag & see who's playing. Join a friend or rally some members for a round of SWAT or a match on Slayer!! FDS has the goal of creating a safe haven for like-minded gamers regardless of gender, race, national origin, religion, marital status, or disability. However you must be 16 or older to join. We believe that all gamers should have a place to play where they won’t have to put up with any type of drama or problems and be free to enjoy the game to its full extent. In the FDS Community we do recognize player skill; however, we believe that gaming is more about having fun and enjoying the game with friends. FDS has both casual and competitive gamers that actively participate in our community. Keeping that in mind, there is always a place for anyone looking to join. You don't have to change your gamertag but we do ask that you change & remain in uniform colors. Our main reasoning behind this is recognition. Your teammates & other community members are easier to identify in the heat of battle!! You are not required to maintain a positive kill/death ratio. There are plenty of members that you can speak with if you'd like some tips or advice. Please message me anytime with questions, if you wanna hook up for a round online or if you're interested in joining. It's a great community of boys & girls, just looking for some like minded gamers to have fun with. We have a saying, "No tea bagging unless you were tea bagged first." Thanks for reading! Game on! Btw, we are looking for people interested in starting a forge team. If you think you might be interested, hit me up!
  12. I always loved custom games and forges in Halo 3/Reach. But in Halo 4, there isn't as much opportunity. The file share isn't great yet, and most of my friends don't have halo 4. I know there are some great custom games and forges out there, but you have to search by someone's gamertag. Then when I find one, I have no one to play with. I was wondering if anyone was interested in getting a group/clan/community together for forging, custom games, and Halo 4 in general so everybody has more people to play with. Please add me and reply if interested. Gamertag: rooshter77
  13. Ok so im new to this Forum and i'm starting this petition to let 343 know that we (the community) want a Forge world in Halo 4!I I was throwing around some ideas on how they could make a new Forge World, like having allot of different Forging environments into one single map like in Reach, or maybe just remake the old Forge World and put it in Halo 4 as a free downloadable piece of content, just like what Bungie did with the map Chill out in Halo Combat Evolved turning it into Cold Storage in Halo 3. Getting back to business here, all I ask of the Community is to say down in the Comments that you want Forge World back! Don't be afraid to comment either cause there are many Gamers out there that want the good ol' Forge world, and share this Thread so it can be the most popular thing on the Forums! I know its allot to ask but if we can get enough people then we will get what we receive. Please comment idea's too on what 343 can do. Thank You for your time, Love you 343! p.s...... we want Falcons/Hornets back too........
  14. Starting a clan/ gaming community has always been a little goal of mine, so I finally decided to do it. We Don't discriminate against skill or anything else. We have many leadership positions open. So if you are the leader type you have potential to move through the ranks fairly quickly at first. I'm gonna put some details about us below if you feel as though it's something you might wanna join or you want to discuss it further with me, hit me up on Xbox Live my gamertag is "DGS Camaro SV". Community Name: Deadly Gaming Syndicate (DGS for short) Overall goal: The goal is pretty simple and similar to that of most other communities. The goal is to give gamers a positive environment to game in, in which they can meet other gamers and hopefully develop friendships with them. Why a gamer would want to join this clan: -Well, for starters we are a very laid back community just like most of the communities out there. We do have rules but they are very general and easy to follow. We do also have a ranking structure which is based off the military but don't think this automatically makes us a strict community. -I'd also like to do many friendly clan battles among the communities and clans we can become allied with, and have a team/s for GameBattles, and other brackets. - I'd also like to do many community exclusive tournaments and competitions where you can win actual prizes (and no not just Microsoft Points). Website: You check out our forums at http://www.DGSLive.info/forums Or our website http://www.dgslive.info If you have any other questions about the community or you're interested in trying it out, feel free to message me on Xbox Live (Gamertag: DGS Camaro SV). You can also private message me on here, or ya know just reply to this topic . If you are reading this are you're already in a clan or community, DGS is looking for more clans and communities to become allied with! Contact me for further details.
  15. I have made this topic in reply to Total Mayh3m's speech over the change of the Community Forums. http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/23323-a-message-to-the-community/ Just Like Old Times, eh Bud- Alright, so I see a bundle of you guys all in the Shoutbox everyday or in the forums making posts. I also see some of you guys getting your names mentioned, or maybe I see you post a status update. Well, sadly, whenever I look at the Status Updates, which is the only place where it's the same as always, everyone acts as the Community did way back in July 2012. It seems that everyone is friendly in the Status Updates, why you ask? I think it's because people only reply in Status Updates if it's their friend, if they're not your friend, then they most likely ignore the entire thing, which brings me back to the topic itself. There's no such thing as a bad game, only a bad player- I see a bunch of you guys, let it be ANYWHERE on the forums, let that be as it may, but I do see some really ugly creatures out there as well. I'm not talking about Covies either, I'm talking about Insurrectionists. I see a lot of people flaming other members, what has happened, may I ask? You guys were all so well, and so nice to each other a long long time ago. What has happened??? I know that you guys are going to reply saying things like “It's the way I am, deal with it.” or maybe something like “Shut up, you don't mean a damn thing to me.” or there's those of you who say things like “Pffft, why the hell do you care about me? I don't care about you. Now beat it.”. But we all know that deep down on the inside, you have something else going on. Let it be family problems, stress, school, school work, work, bullies, or just something that is bothering you. Don't let that stuff get to you, geez, I mean, we all do hate things like that, Absolute Dog is a real good example at against bullying. Just keep it down, don't let it out on your friends, or any of us. If only it were so easy- This site is a Community, what do we do? We work together and help each other out at the best of our ability. As Mayh3m posted, he sees people redirect them to halo.xbox.com, but I would like to know; why do we do it? If people come here to 343 Industries Community Forums looking for help, then they are here for OUR help, telling them to go to halo.xbox.com is just a waste of our time and their time. How about instead of redirecting them, we do it this way: “These aren't the official forums, but I will try to help you out the best I can, if I can't, maybe another member can.” or something like this “We can try to help you out, what is it that you're having problems with?” But if it's something no one can answer, one person just needs to say “None of us know what your problem is, wish we could help, but you'll have to try Halo Waypoint; you might get lucky and find an answer there. If you don't have the link, I can give it to you if you wish.” Just simple things like that will make it look better for us. - now we all like to troll here and there every once and awhile. I'll admit, even I do. But I think it's time we put the trolling down a tad bit. I mean, if it's during a time when the Shoutbox is quiet, and you guys want to mess around, I mean sure, go ahead lets have some fun. But constant trolling and flaming isn't good for us. Imagine this, there's a 12 year old child with leukemia and all we do is troll him and flame him. Later on, the kid writes a Status Update that day- “I came to this site to get help, I only have two months left before I die of leukemia, and all people on the internet do is bully me and think it's funny. I am crying in tears as I type this, I have my mother holding me and my older sister trying to calm me down, thanks you guys.” Haters gone Hating- Alright, so yes we get it, this is a Halo fan site; but I guess you guys haven't read the section called 'Other Games', so that means we must at LEAST talk about one other game. A really good example of this would be Call of Duty, one of Halo's most competitive games made. I have noticed that some of you guys talk trash about it to other members just to flame them, but truth is, it's not that bad of a game as people say it is. Many of you who talk trash about it have a copy of one of the games anyways! So there's no real point in flaming other members over it, who knows? Maybe one of your best friends on here love that game, but they see you talking trash and then they ease their way out of the friendship, and then turn around to your enemies side. Theater Talk- One of the most popular things that happen in the Shoutbox is Back Seat Moderating let it be accidental or intended. Doesn't matter. If you have noticed, which I bet you have, members get really upset when you back seat moderate, especially the Moderators, it's not your job so maybe it's best we all keep away from it. When someone back seat moderates for breaking a rule, not only do they break that rule, but they do cause a disruption. In order to back seat moderate, they have to break a rule, so you are yelling at them for breaking a rule, whilst breaking it yourself. But we all know, once one member gets upset after this an argument occurs and sides are taken in the fight. Which then causes more trouble for our beloved Moderating Team, so I say we just keep it clean and leave it where it lay. Saying something occasionally like “Hey, I'm being nice about this, but please don't do that, it's actually against the rules, we'd hate to see a member like you leave.” If they get upset, just ignore it, let a Moderator handle it if they see it go out of control. Fun with some keg- Alright my last one, TM did say we don't have much fun anymore, right? Like making threads and having fun with Absolute Dog, Spectral Jester, or Twam. Now how about we get something like that set up again? Get some fun going with the moderators? I mean, the Mods have fun with you, changing your name and that, I even think it's fun when they do do that. Don't complain about it, they'll change it back. But that's not everything, you guys remember in any Halo game when you got an adrenaline rush over something exciting? Well if you are having one of those and so happen to be here, why not let the fun explode right out of you? As long as it's not to critical, doesn't kill someone, or breaks any rules; then give it a go! I mean, everyone loves to get involved, you just don't know it. How to ignore someone: Go to top right corner of the website > pull the drop box down by your name > click Ignore | Preferences > type the name of the person you wish to ignore > add them to ignore list. This is how you ignore someone, but keep in mind, you can still see their shouts and all of that, but just like ignoring someone, you can choose to listen to them. But this is at your very own risk, no one else. How to report someone (via post/topic): Go to their post > on the bottom right of the post it says 'Quote' 'Multiquote' and 'Report' > Click report > submit how the post affects YOU. Also, please don't swear or break any rule, make a simple reason explaining why you reported it so you don't get in trouble as well. How to report someone (General): Go to the users profile > under Latest Visitors will be a button saying 'Report Member' > Once you have clicked it submit explaining what the member has done, it does not display quote for quote what you are submitting about; but you can copy and paste it. I advise you do it the same as if you were reporting via post/topic, that way you don't get in trouble for that either. My Personal Advice: “Watch out for Hammer, Bro.”
  16. Hey guys searching for some people to play custom games with on weekends. My internet cannot handle hosting so if you can volunteer to host that be great! Players for the US area only, sorry but international play (US, EU) seem to create a lag fest. Add my gamer tag if your interested in playing or helping to host. Feel free to share your own maps and gametypes. Add my gamertag GT: Nicomach Ignix
  17. Hi my name is Chase and I am the creator of the Facebook page Halo Custom Lobbies, http://www.facebook.com/HaloCustomLobbies. I am recruiting players for custom lobby events with maps and game types suggested by the players. Although the problem is that my page does not have enough supporters but as soon as I have at least 20 likes I will hold the first custom lobby. The purpose of this page is to bring back those large open lobbies from Halo 3 and Halo: Reach with community made maps. So like my page, suggest maps and game types, weather it be yours or another's, and above all have FUN!!!

  19. Since this seems like an official site of 343i (apart from waypoint), I thought I would just ask, I know it's the lead up to christmas and all, but what is the news on how the playlists are being affected and when the full playlists will be implemented? I've heard that they will be up in time, but has any sort of a timescale been set to do this? I don't think it's just me who wants to know this, i'm sure other community members are keen to find out when that little bit of something extra in matchmaking is going to be added, making this already awesome game, perfect (popular classic gametypes, map rotation etc.). I also think that there has been a lot of input from the community about this sort of stuff and yeah, it's a great game and I realise it hasn't been out for long, but I can't help but wonder if 343i will take up the role that bungie left with as much enthusiasm towards the concerns of the community as bungie originally did. Anyone hear what i'm saying?
  20. Hello all members. This, as you may have assumed from the title, is a thread where you can ask any questions you may have on the site, answered by ZB-85 and I. Please keep your questions appropriate and worthwhile. Thank you, and we will assist you in any way we can! But remember, these are all questions about the site and it's functions. Nothing miscellaneous. *Voice questions below*
  21. Hey, I am the president of a gaming community called United Nation MLG Klan's. We do have clans (which we spell it as Klan's) for XBOX 360/LIVE games only such as Halo Reach, Halo 4, Black Ops, Black Ops II, MW3, and possibly MW2. If you are interested and maybe want more information and/or join the gaming community (UNMK), please check us out at our website by copying and pasting the following link below: http://unmk.shivtr.com/ Thanx and hope to see you soon! -Sincerely, President of United Nation MLG Klan's CXxELITEmilexXN- XBOX LIVE gamer-tag
  22. Over all I love Halo 4 and think 343i has done an incredibly job on the story line, visuals, sounds, etc... This is an amazing Halo game. There are only a few issues that I, and many others, have that are slowly leeching all the fun from the game because they are so annoying and nonsensical. First and foremost: Vehicle friendly fire? Really? 343i... You know the majority of people who play your game online are trolls right? I've played Halo online since Halo 2 and about 3/5 games, in my experience, you will have teammates try to ruin the game for all the other players on their team. Usually you can just ignore it and keep playing, or boot them!... problem solved! However, in Halo 4 this isn't possible. Instead you just end up trying to avoid one or two of your teammates for however long the match lasts so you can keep playing the game and have fun. Now since everyone who plays online games knows that teammates are going to be jerks... why enable them? I love that betrayals are gone (except for splattering, but that kind of makes sense) but why allow teammates to destroy vehicles via friendly fire? I guess I just don't understand the thinking behind it. Second: 343i. In my browsing of the forums and my experience in the game, I see little to no response to the community/fan base and their valid complaints. Why is this? Why don't you listen to your customers? Or at least show that you're listening? I'd rather you act on what we're saying, but even an acknowledgment would be better than being completely ignored. So please listen to the people who provide your paycheck. We're not all mindless and stupid. Third: Why have a daily experience point cap? You promoted the crap out of the game with Mountain Dew and Doritos Double XP, but then you hinder players... seems completely counter-intuitive right? You're not helping anyone by doing that. Since high level players are thrown in with low level players all the time, there's no meaning to rank. So why hinder people who play your game a lot and want to be rewarded if it doesn't hurt any other player? So basically, out of supposed concern for other players, you hinder the players who play a lot, yet allow teammates to destroy vehicles, while promoting the game with Double XP and not letting people get all the XP they want in a day. Overall you're just hindering people and haven't accomplished any of what you claim you're trying to do! Don't get me started on the specializations thing... at least that's behind most of us now. So 343i please just listen to the people you're selling your game to. Take our ideas and thoughts into consideration and I promise Halo 5 will be even better than Halo 4 (which is phenomenal overall).
  23. Hey there everyone! I've been knee deep in Spartan Ops and War Games over the past month, and have taken a long sip from the goblet of pandemonium and teamwork. There aren't many things I can see wrong with Halo4, and Matchmaking for me has become a near addiction. So, in saying that, I've also encountered of a lack of community which, personally, is what keeps me locked to the online experience. In saying that, I'm looking for a clan who like getting together and moving from game to game with mics, entertaining everyone with all flavours of banter. I reckon I'm not that bad of a player and I could be of benefit in competition. I dunno' what people look for as a pre-requisite. I have a positive kill/death ratio, if that helps. Oh, and I’m Australian. Anyway. Hit me up if you like. LeadingSimon316
