  1. Halo 4 was an amazing game, by far one of my favourite Halo's. But there are a few things i personally do not like, and i'm sure many others agree with me. (in no order) 1. ELITES - I was okay with elites not being in matchmaking, but i would have liked them do be in. It adds more customisability and to be able to go on and play as an alien race makes it just that much better. 2. SOUNDS - The sounds in halo 4 where brilliant. The guns where pounding every time you took a shot... but they weren't halo. They didn't sound like halo, the covenant guns didn't sound alien, the assault rifle didn't sound like an assault rifle, and the pistol was very weak sounding. They need to do what they did with Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary. The weapons all sounded like halos, but had a punch to them. Each sound blew you away and yet were still recognisable as halos. And in every other Halo the shield recharge sounded great, it had a kick to it. In halo 4 its kind of weak, not very loud and had a whistle to it rather than this futuristic shield. They need to bring that pump back to in Halo 5. 3. SHIELDS - The shields in halo 4 depleted way too fast and recharged way too slow. I realise this was too speed up the gameplay and all but it doesn't feel like the halo shield i love from Halo 2 and Halo 3. And the over-shield in halo 4 is terrible, it depletes way to fast so by the time you found someone to kill you ran out of the over-shield. They must make it that powerful original shield again. 4. WATER - In halo 4 water kills you the second you touch it. In the other halos the water goes up to your neck before dying. I know its a bit picky but it just annoys me when in halo reach i forged flooded areas. 5. CAMPAIGN - I waited for years to play halo 4, it was worth it but i would have liked to campaign to have been longer and more dedicated. 6. MUSIC - I was disappointed not to hear the classic halo theme and a choir. It would just have made the mysterious settings much better. I loved their version of 'Never Forget' in Halo 4, it kept me watching the credits through to the ending. In halo 5 they need to bring back some more classic music. 7. QUICK TIME EVENTS - No... just no. They should have let us kill the Didact ourselves, like we did with every other boss. Sometimes it was okay but just left me wishing that i was actually controlling it. 8. GAMEPLAY - Its just small but id like the controls to be customisable. Such as being able to have sprint being selected as a default rather always being on. And have the other Halo controls as a setup. And some multiplayer playlists should be changed, like Flood. I loved infection in halo reach, but the flood having armour abilities ruins it. Its way to difficult to survive and makes you angry when there are seconds to go and you cheaply get killed by a flood using thruster pack. 9. THE FEEL - Last thing i think they could change is the feel. Things missing here and there that could be changed. Like i said before, the choir and layouts could be a little more recognisable. When i go into the menu the music is good but repetitive, i enter it hearing the same songs over and over and over again and its a strain on my ears. The Halo 3 music was soft and beautiful. And just small things like the colour and of buttons and the menu needs to be more classic. And thats pretty much it, i love everything else. The load-outs especially suit Halo very much. And i like how the armour abilities have been toned down from Halo reach. Just minor things but i think 343 industries could sort it out and make the next halo the best halo game ever made.
  2. Okay, so there are some things i liked about halo 4, and some things that they made even worse than reach. Vehicles: They are too week. Vehicles are what make halo stand out among the other shooters. There fun and are necessary for when you want to mix it up for a while. The counter argument that people will abuse vehicle use is useless and unfounded, as well as counter productive to the halo series to not have or have weaker vehicles. What's with magically punching a vehicle and having parts from random pieces break off? It's unrealistic and doesn't make you feel any better about defeating a vehicle because its too easy. In reach, killing a wraith was a skill, here no one cares. Plus, you should be able to hijack a vehicle by breaking only the cockpit protector and killing the occupant. This will keep the balance of the one who got there first has an easier time staying alive, while the new occupant is easier to kill. You should be rewarded for doing something hard, not a watered down you get nothing for doing something boring It degrades the experience and will give cod and battle field more players- bad biusiness. However, the grenade thing was a good idea. I also think that instead of busting the tank if you have no grenades when you hop onto the back, you should be able to climb up onto the gun and cause damage to that. if you hop onto the side, it should take just a bit longer to get to the front How to fix it: patch the punching crap, I consider it a glitch and it was annoying enough in Reach Fire arms: Nice job! I love the amping up of the covenant weapons and making them farther, faster, more accurate, and more painfull. I don't need to comment on the foruners as everyone likes them. Forge: Bad job, discraseful and shameful job. The maps are smaller, and they should have kept the tin cups old traits because it slowed some objects when dropped from the sky, so you could bury them in the ground and have the only succesful drop pods that didn't kill you and without the other tacky, second-rate solutions. Marketing scam in dominion: I don't apretiate being lied to about dominion, I only bought halo 4 before hearing critics because there was a comercial with the buildings actually building form the ground and they mentioned strategy, which seems to be abandoned and watered down to just plain shoot'em up with a slight twist. Vehicle selection: Lazy half-*** job guys, bravo. Cut the crap and add all past vehicles into the forge and make the hornet control like the pelican and have faster ascent/decent and straif. There was also hype about being able to fly serefs, pelicans, and scarebs in forge and custom games. you guys disapointed us by being so failure-oreinted. Campaigne: Great job with few issues. cortana's death was un-emotional, thus defeating the purpose of killing her off, though if she survived again I would have been iritated also, because it would defeate the pourpose of her death being an issues. As a side note, I would like to note that the cut scene with the scientists was the sadest part because it was more emotional, and you could feel so bad for them. I was glad they were killed because now they don't have to suffer emotionally their whole life, making me feel like it was justified. diadact ship: epic diadact last fight, but dum ending. the fight was epic, but the nuke didn't make any sence. It didn't even detonate when triggered, and chief got teliported after it should have exploded. it was also unnecesary as the the ship was no longer a threat even though it was still firing. It would have only been firing on the same city it already composed, and the composer could have been taken by the unsc and been usede as a political weapon against the covanent. plus, the fact that the librarian is still alive could have been exploited in that she would inherit control of the ship (as long as she didn't murder him, of course). Earth assault: the covanent could have destroyed the earth, but were probably told to leave as the diadact had an ego the size of a planet, thus making sense, but i would like to note that earth is no longer the strongest planet, siince it has already been over runned, and humanity also has other planets, which would be easily upgraded as earth's demand for resources was lessened do to the masecre Elites and covanent: makes sense. the profits obviously want the elites back in to end their alliance, and they only would have to honour them for saving the covenant and put them back into power to reastablish control. The more ***-kissing they do, the more control they have. For the brutes, there is no reason why they shouldn't have been replased shortly after their rise to power, since they failed and were and unstable society. All they were was a tool for the new covanent party anyway, and it was the elites that saved every single one of them, and even though they rebelled and were independant for a while, their future reloyalty was highly likely anyway. They only joined us to save life, but they rebelled because they were replaced. if they were only replaced, they would still have rebeled and not allied themselves with us. Forge nuances- problems and good things: obviously the magnet and quick dupe was a great idea and i'm sure user data is too, once it is understood enought to be used. however, the physics where you put things on normal and they become fixed after a while has prevented many good ideas in forge on reach. We could have easily made psudo destructable ship wars where the buildings stayed on normal physics and when the bariers and explosives would hold them up until destroyed. forge ideas for the future: bbesides needing all the vehicles, as well as fuel rod gun wraiths and fuel rod gun shade turrets and those blue flack turets in fogre, there needs to be a few more options. You need to be able to: glue pieces together so they act as one building (when paired with my persistant normal phisics idea) and beable to de attach after enough force is applied. we need to beable to set some destructible objects to triger events in buildings such as physics change and destruction, and noncolide so parts can fall through them map and get deleted, thus saving data. buildings need to be modable to where they can take damage which would be user specified and the type of weapons efect it diferetntly. there needs to be some sort of shield thing (in halo 5) that can be alloud to cover buidlings, and air locks need to be scripted so efects like from Reach's map anchor can hapen. imagine how epic the experience would be if the environment changed, even just a bit, when damage is dealt. Why the developers need to head my advise: because you need to keep your investment interesting so you get your money back and gain a profit? DUH! halo is already on the downhill slope, so you need to act now. dont save the changes for later, because it may already be to late one example is given by nintendo. The reason why they are failing is because they banned the cod franchise so long that people like me had time to save up for an xbox (finally) thus deleting the interest i had in the wii. I loved the wii more than xbox because i could easily become more coordinated with the game by using my eye hand coordination skills to make me better faster. I was headshotting people with the most inacturate guns accross the map within a few months with the wii, but the xbox anologue stick makes no sense whatsoever and thus needs years to get a fraction as good. plus, the new kids would like the ease of being able to skill up faster. An extra tip for developers: theres no reason you can't change your halo 4 game now and fuel the interest in the series. patches already are constantly addes so i do't know why things cant be addressed, now before your customers jump ship. I had an idea for the connect of how to achieve the wii effect without having to get new controllers, but i don't want to give my idea away. as soon as i can pattendt that idea, I'm going to sell it.
  3. Waypoint released some hints about 3 undiscovered easter eggs in campaign. Some of you may already started e-hunting, but for others it's a good time to begin Here are the hints, I will update this when I find a video. MISSION: REQUIEM (By Paul Ehreth) What is it? "An appreciation of architecture, and a return to nature." Where is it? "It may be beatiful, but returning here is deadly." MISSION: FORERUNNER (By Cory Hasselbach) What is it? "A deadly ambush waits for you If you have the will to power through Kill them all, your reward is great Weapons to turn the side of fate" Where is it? "After the enemies rain from the sky Before the doorway which you fly You must return to the rock on which the ledge is by Patience is a virtue, but your death is nigh" MISSION: MIDNIGHT (By Chris French) What is it? "A congenial sight." Where is it? "Lost in the belly of the beast." Good hunting Spartans!
  4. I want to beat halo 4 on legendary & cant be bothered on my own! Anyone who wants to play from start to finish add me o0 sniper360 0o
  5. So I posted this in a different thread, but given all the different threads about Cortana and the ending, I thought I'd post my thoughts in their own thread so I don't wind up repeating myself in a dozen and one threads. So without further ado, here are my thoughts on the ending. I understand it if you don't like, or flat out hate, the ending of Halo 4. My only real hope and aim here was to give a different perspective on it.
  6. Well I just beat the campaign on legendary solo and I'm pretty sure I was supposed to unlock Master Chief's armor for my personal spartan but I didn't. Can anyone help?
  7. Hey there, There seems to be a huge issue with the game currently, specifically that if you lose connection to Xbox Live at any point during a Legendary campaign run, you will not get the commendation for the campaign mission you were in. This has been reported many times I'm sure, as well as I have had friends who have encountered it. Unfortunately, it has also negatively affected me. I am not great at Halo, but I had managed to scrap and claw my way through part of the Legendary campaign so far. Unfortunately, because I play with my notifications turned off, I did not receive the "You have lost connection to Xbox Live", and as so I had completed two stages(Forerunner and Infinity), through much effort and perseverance only to release after the fact that those completions had not been recorded. I would very much appreciate a correction on my profile that I have completed these stages, as well as hopefully a fix for this issue the next time there is a patch pushed live. Thanks.
  8. One of the things i am hoping for in halo 5 is prometian vehicles. I would like to know if there were promethian vehicles, what would they... 1) ...Be named 2) ...Look like 3) ...Have as weapons (i.e. ghost has dual guns, warthog has turret, and mongoose has none) 4) ...Travel by (wheels, hover, fly, treads) 5) ...Have as a UNSC equivelent (i.e. Wraith=Scorpian) 6) ...do when hijacked (i.e. explode like Wraith or taken over like ghost)
  9. I was thinking about many things that I would like in Halo 5. Some include different Forge genres like UNSC pieces, Covenant pieces, and Forerunner pieces. I had an idea for the campaign as well. Technically, the Flood was wiped out on the Installations Humans visited, so maybe they stumble across more Flood on an Installation they haven't been to yet. For multiplayer, we should have multiple species to play as. For example, there could be a game mode of ODST's versus Brutes, or Spartans versus Promethean Knights. Finally, there should be AIs we can fight against in Custom Games to mix things up a little and boost the awesome Halo experience to the next level. If anyone from 343i reads this, please take these ideas into consideration. They have a high chance of not making it into the final copy of Halo 5, but at least I would know that workers at 343i took time out of their day to read this. Good luck on the production of Halo 5! -xXFor3runn3rXx1
  10. This is a list/guide to most hidden weapons and some miscellaneous stuff in the campaign. These are not the obvious ones and it won't include easter eggs. It may also include some trivia. "Dawn" When Requiem scans the Dawn for the first time, you can see a holo-pad showing the ship's course. It goes off its course heading to a mysterious planet (Requiem). When Requiem starts pulling all ships inside it, after you go to an airlock, there are some Grunts running but the floor collapses beneath them. If you do not fall down and go around jumping on the remaining floor, when the second floor falls afterwards, there is a dead Elite with an Energy Sword in front of you. (Still on the upper floor) ''Requiem'' At the very start, there are some goodies hidden in the crash site. Once you start, head to your right. There is a crashed part of the Dawn, where a dying Elite is located. Inside it, an audio log can be activated which is Dr.Halsey commenting on Cortana. If you ascend a small ramp, you will be on top of the debris. There is a crate with BR ammo and next a Sniper rifle. In another crashed part next to the first one, the is a SAW which can be useful in the mission. At the starting point, head to the crashed Covenant ship to your left. If you climb it, the is a device which you can activate and hear a dialog between Chief and Cortana. In the map room, there is an object that can be examined which describes the Mantle of Responsibility. Near Rally point Bravo, at the final area, if you go near the cliff where there is sea, you can find an AR, a Magnum, a SAW and a Rocket Launcher. "Forerunner" At the second pylon, you can hear the battle sounds of the Covenant and the Prometheans fighting, though human Assault Rifle noises are heard even though both sides use energy weapons. Most Covenant won't attack you when they're battling with Prometheans, unless you get really close. They will focus their fire on Prometheans first, and when they are all down they'll start attacking you. "Infinity" If one were to stare the Phantoms and Banshees in the beginning, they would see a group of seven stop in front of the hill. When you learn that the Covenant and Prometheans work together, a Jackal with a carbine is on the path to your right. Go there, and you'll see some additional Railgun ammo. While you're inside Infinity with the Scorpion, a Mongoose and 2 Warthogs are on heightened repair platforms. You may need a buddy to get the Hogs Next to the first Mantis' platform, on both sides, there are 4 Mongooses with Rocket Launchers for players on foot. At the final area, when you are ordered to clear the area and defend the anti-air guns, at the far right and left are 2 Mantises. They'll provide you extra firepower when needed. "Reclaimer" After Lasky tells you that you have to destroy particle cannons to get to the gravity well he will go below decks and type on a computer until he is deleted from the map about 20 seconds later. You can store any vehicle or weapon you want inside the Mammoth, a Wraith for example. It will stay there until you are ordered to leave the Mammoth and proceed on foot for the rest of the mission. When you're close to the citadel's entrance, if you jet-pack up to the bridge-like structure, there is a fully charged Beam Rifle. There is also another one, along with some ammo crates, on the upper right path, beneath the structure mentioned above. At the part you meet up with the Scorpions and other UNSC forces, there is a kind of similarity with the level The Ark (Halo 3). Even (Master) Stg. Stacker's lines are similar to his on the Ark. Ex. 1.(Halo 3):"All armor, form up. Hit 'em where it hurts!" (Halo 4):"Everyone form up on the Chief!"Ex. 2(Halo 3):"First line, clear! Push forward!" (Halo 4):"First line clear, check it off. Push forward!" "Shutdown" Through a glitch, one can skip the two towers and head directly to the third tower, drastically cutting the level short. (Recommended for Legendary runs) On the lower level of the Gondola, there are some useful Promethean weapons, including a Binary Rifle. In the final area, if one dies and his body falls down in the abyss, it will fall a little bit and then reach black ground. The fog also disappears. "Composer" At the very start there is a portal-like structure which kills you if you pass through it. On the second area where you need to raise the hangar shields, inside the 2-story building where some allies are, there is 1 DMR with a frag grenade on the first level, and 2 DMRs along with some frags on the second. After the Didact scans the station, clear out the remaining Covenant and cross a thin bridge-like structure. At the end of it, there should be a Beam Rifle with 100% capacity. The room with the Hunters has several specimens from Installation 03. There is also a small room within it with two of Dr Catherine Halsey's personal log entries. It is possible that she had used it as an office earlier. There are several data stations in the area near the Composer which can be accessed to find out more about it. In the Composer area, near the 2 Mantises is a room which contains plenty of Sticky Detonator ammo and some ARs. When you see that the Covenant have discovered the Composer, at your left there is a Spartan Laser on a railing. Through the entire level there are weapons scattered around and if you search off the beaten path, you'd find plenty. I would not be surprised if I have missed many. "Midnight" When Cortana teleports you to the armory (where there are many weapons along with the Grav Hammer), if you load last checkpoint, you won't hear Cortana's normal dialog. Instead she says something else (Maybe "John, our mother needs us") . Now, the weird part is that on the upper left corner where it displays who speaks, it says "Dr. Catherine Halsey" instead of "UNSC A.I. Cortana". Lastly, at the time Cortana tells the player to insert her to a terminal to stop the Didact from using the Composer, if one were to stall, she would gradually get more and more angry, with her last statement being "YOUR KIND WILL BE COMPOSED IF YOU DO NOT ACT." I think this is it, if you have something you want me to add, just say it here or PM me. As soon as I see your message I will add this here. Stay safe and, happy Holidays
  11. So, I was playing campaign on the mission "Composer" with my friends and I came across something weird. Where there are some scientists telling you to get there, go where a dead marine is with a shotgun. Next to the wall there is a normal grenade and, as it seems, a golden one. You can pick it up and throw it just like any other grenade, but, when you throw it, you can see it is gold. I also looked up on the Internet and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0l30hDq15cw Any one up to find the golden warthog?
  12. Im sure im not the only one but Heroic Campaign for Halo 4 was way to easy for it to be Heroic. But the legendary difficulty was so much more difficult. The Heroic was more like a normal mode to me. Was legendary suppose to be that much harder?? Plus i constantly ran out of ammo during legendary which didnt help.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESorreJRV5c Classic "Random Box" egg making it's debuet in 4, as well as a walkthrough on how to get outside of the Campaign Map Infinity. Random Box from Halo: Reach http://www.bungie.ne...px?fid=5538573"
  14. To 343 Industries: First of all, I'd like to congratulate you all on Halo 4. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I started playing it on Solo Legendary about 6:00 the Friday it came out, and had it beat by 2:00 the next day. It was very engaging. I have beaten all the Halo games on Solo Legendary, ODST and Reach on LASO, and I am currently working through the Halo books, so I consider myself well-versed in the Halo Universe. I think you did a great job of keeping true to the feel of Halo, and the new Master Chief looks awesome. I especially loved the intro with Dr. Halsey, it really got me pumped for the game. However, I have some concerns. 1) The legendary ending of Halo 4 shows a glimpse of Master Chief's face. It only flashed for a second, so I only had time to see the intensity in his eyes, but I was still shocked. The face of SPARTAN-117 cannot be shown. Please do not continue to do so. Perhaps some have requested it, but the die-hard fans of Halo do NOT want this. 2) I saw that there are tentative ideas about revealing more about Master Chief's past and the origin of the Spartans in Halo 5. I am not against this, but I fear that if you try to put that into a game focused on the Forerunner story, then it will be butchered. Those areas merit a game to themselves, if it is done right. For example, if the plan is to have Master Chief experience flashbacks throughout Halo 5, I disagree. While in Halo 4, you did a good job of not making our hero too sentimental, flashbacks would suggest that his resolve is failing. It would be a disappointment to fans. But that's just an example. 3) In Halo 4, I saw the Covenant lose their edge a little. They weren't as difficult to deal with as in other games. Please don't downgrade them to make the new enemies appear tougher. Rather, keep the Covenant the same, and upgrade the Prometheans. These points are all I'm really worried about. I believe that the next game in the series will be magnificent. Also, thank you so much for letting us pilot a Longsword! It is now my favorite vehicle.

    Campaign Bug?

After I completed the Campaign on legendary solo it brought me back to SR 1 when I was SR 58 when I started. Also I cant even go on to matchmaking, its telling me the halo 4 servers are not available. I didn't unlock the armor either. I am also not able to log into halowapoint.com. What happened ? How do I fix this?
  16. So, like other people, I've had some issues with getting the Mark VI armour from the legendary campaign. I completed it solo on Legendary last night, got the achievements, but no armour or commendations. I was online the entire time and my network settings are fine. I'm assuming that the issue was due to the Halo servers being 'unavailable'. This is incredibly frustrating, and I really don't want to do the campaign again. I'm hoping 343 will sort this out and give me and other people the commendations and armour once they fix everything, especially if it was an error on 343's end. If anyone has more information about what 343 is planning to do with this issue, please let me know.
  17. Okay I have the Wake-Up John Achievement and I beat the Halo 4 campaign with my Mates. Is there any reason why I didn't get the avatar award or is 343i too d*mn lazy to fix bugs instead of there playlists?
  18. So, I have finished the Halo 4 campaign offline and received all the achievements. Though, I have not gotten the accommodations or Mark VI armor and Visor. I have seen that you have to be online when you complete it, but, I have credit for some of the missions but not all. Even though I played the whole campaign offline. Why does it count 5/8 but not the other three?! 343 please try to fix this!
  19. Ok so I must have overlooked some information and linked some things in my mind that weren't accurate because when I played through Halo 4's campaign I was very confused by the time it ended. I would like to say I have complaints and questions about everything in the story but I'm only going to focus on the one unconfirmed subject for me at least, that being The Forerunners. Throughout the games and books the forerunners are said to have been a race of super advanced beings who expanded across the galaxy, then in an effort to destroy the flood they killed themselves and all sentient life. But they had libraries of samples belonging to all sentient life in secure areas so they could be distributed back after the Halo's were activated, restarting sentient life from where it left off. So I'm going to jump right in with my opinion here. Until I played Halo 4 I always assumed the forerunners were in fact humans. Hence why the Prophets referred to them as Humanity's forefathers, why Guilty Spark calls humans Reclaimers, why only humans can use (and instinctively know how to use) important forerunner controls. But as it happens I was wrong and the Forerunners are simply confused aliens. You may be wondering why I said "confused" aliens, well my friend I can only assume they were confused. Or at the very least their thought processes are very different to that of a human. Let me explain. Why when they wiped out all sentient life did they clone all the species, excluding themselves. Did the forerunners decide their species had been around for long enough? Did they simply forget to add their own samples to the libraries? For whatever reason when they fired the Halo arrays the forerunners decided that they weren't worth having around any more. That's one reason why i thought they were humans, because we were a result of their gene samples that were plonked on Earth after the Halo's were fired. But what confuses me most according to 343's cannon, they were at war with humans. So before they all died they made sure that their mortal enemies could rise back up to their former glory and use all the forerunner technology. I may have missed something but to me that makes little to no sense at all. Which brings me on to humans. Where's all the ancient human stuff then? Over the years humanity has discovered Forerunner artifacts, robots, planets, stations and weapons. Yet not a single human space chair has been discovered. There is no evidence anywhere that anything besides the forerunners existed before the events of Halo. But apparently Humans were not only a living species they were also a galactic nation large and advanced enough to stand against the forerunners. So where are their planets? Their robots? their Artifacts? Or did the ancient humans just have an identical taste in architecture and engineering as the forerunners? As I've said I must have gotten the wrong end of the stick or something because I've always felt that Halo had been subtly hinting that humans and forerunners were the same. But maybe I'm wrong and they've always been shaved brutes with jedi force powers. But if someone could weigh in and explain what I've missed I would appreciate it! And another thing when did every one find out that forerunner's name was "Didact"? I swear he never mentioned it to Cortana and Chief when he was evily monologue-ing
  20. Hello everyone, I recently beat the campaign solo on legendary, which was a HUGE pain in the ass, but I did not unlock the Masterchief's armor on multiplayer! I looked it up and it turns out that you needed to beat it while online which is like a huge kick in the face since my internet disconnects a lot and is very problematic! So, I pretty much went to all that trouble for almost nothing! What I want to know please, is there any way to still unlock the armor and not go back and beat it all over again on legendary? Because, the armor is really cool and all but its seriously not worth all that trouble! Does anyone know a moderator or something who can unlock it for me? I would really, REALLY appreciate any and all help!
  21. After playing the halo 4 campaign on legendary solo for about 6 hours and getting to shutdown, I was happy I was nearly finished and have the achievements and the Mark 6 armour. Though I came on halo today my campaign was reset back to the prologue, though when I look at my commendations, I have finished up to shutdown, it also reset my armour, load outs, season pass content and my rank by 3 ranks. Is there a source or resolution for this problem because I really can't be bothered to redo something I spent hours doing due to shoddy development. If anybody else has this problem please post.
  22. Hey guys I would like some help on finishing campaign I already got one mission done and I think it would go faster if I can get some help. So message me here or on live my tag is "KingOfCards V2"
  23. When I beat the Campaign on Legendary, I noticed that the Commendation 'Requiem' in the Campaign commendations, wasn't complete for some odd reason, even though it said I beat the mission and that I had completed the Campaign on Legendary. Just now I got around to doing the mission again on Legendary (Starting from point Alpha, AKA the beginning of the mission, the whole 9 yards) and yet again, no commendation completed. Has anyone else experience this and/or came up with a workaround? Thanks ahead of time!
  24. Sorry, I just got fed up reading all the negatively titled threads so I'm starting a good one... Best parts about halo 4 Campaign -The Campaign was so in depth and detailed and just generally awesome -It has been by far the best game I've ever played at getting by emotions involved and yes by the end I was in tears -The new race of enemies put me out of my comfort zone as I was getting to learn the best ways at killing the Forerunners, this was particularly noticeable on my second play through on legendary, which surprisingly I am finding easier than when I first played Heroic. -The new weapons were very nicely done and apart from the incineration canon none of them are too overpowered , despite this though they still got across through the weapons how much more advanced the forerunners are. -The development of Chief's and Cortana's characters was incredible and really made you even more attached to them -I like the new supporting characters - mainly Lasky and Palmer Multiplayer -Despite complaints from some about no respawn time etc, I personally thinks it just adds to the madness that is a Halo fight -I think all the maps are brilliantly designed so there is virtually no camping what so ever -I like having custom classes, it allows people to specialise their gameplay but it doesn't give new players too much of a disadvantage as the weapons and abilities aren't too powerful -Spartan Ops is just a genius alternative to firefight and adds more story to the game -I think the player cards as opposed to just names is a very nice touch along with changing infection to flood and not allowing people to change their vote - stops people voting with the majority, happened all the time on Reach Improvements for Halo 5 -BRING BACK CORTANA... my preference anyway -Make it ASAP.
  25. So, I am having this issue as are many others as described on Halo Waypoint, and nobody is acknowledging this issue. https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst130327_HALO-4-Sound-Problems-during-Cutscene-s.aspx Cutscene Sound Issue - During cutscenes, sound effects including music, ambient noise, and general sound effects sound muffled, like a low bitrate music file. - Dialogue and vocals tend to be unaffected. They play at lossless quality. - In game sound effects are unaffected. - Prerendered cutscene sound effects are unaffected. - In game engine cutscene sound effects are the only ones experiencing low bitrate qualities. This is a summary of the issue. I experienced the issue during ingame cutscenes with many sound effects and music tracks sounding muffled and like I was listening underwater, while the dialogue was crisp. The game itself had no issues but any time a cutscene occurred with the ingame graphics engine, everything sounded extremely low-fi. I am using an optical cable on a 250gb slim 360 with a Sony 5.1 receiver. I attempted with the game running from disc, installed to the hard drive, multiple reboots and experienced this from start to end in the campaign. This is not a minor issue as 343 advertised their sound production was going to be phenomenal, but I may as well have only had one speaker for these cutscenes because that's the sound quality I was given. Were the wrong files for the surround mix included on the disc? Is a patch in the works? Instead of enjoying the cutscenes, I could only cringe at the sound quality. Any and all information on this glaring issue would be very much appreciated.
