The Destiny Beta has been confirmed to kick off in July according the Activsion/Blizzard first quarter report. The Beta for Destiny is coming in July, two months before the official release date as the report shows but no full date for the beta release has been given yet. There are speculations that it could launch on Bungie Day (July 7th) which is pretty safe to assume as it is Bungie's own annual festivity and what better way to celebrate it than launching the Beta on that day. But whatever the date is Playstation fans will be first to play it as Bungie announced last year that the Playstation will get early access to it. It is not yet confirmed how long Xbox fans will have to wait for it to come to the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One after it releases on the PS3 and PS4, it could possibly be something along the lines of a week or so. To gain access to the beta you have to pre-order the game to receive a code at participating retailers where you then enter it over at bungie.net. So are you going to be participating in the beta? Bungie has been up to a lot with Destiny lately with people being able to Pre-order and receive a reserved spot in Beta gameplay. Here is a video from the site put up recently. Respawn Entertainment is now taking registrations for TitanFall's Alpha testing. As of right now this Alpha testing is only for the Xbox One, there is no information available as of yet on when or if this testing will become available for Xbox 360 or PC. Project Spark announced via Facebook that a beta is on it's way to the Xbox One. Here is the official statement: Project Spark Xbox One closed beta begins in February. If you have a Windows 8 beta key, it will also give you access to the Xbox One beta. If you are in the Windows 8 beta, you will automatically have access to the Xbox One beta when it starts. If you gave away your Project Spark beta key, don't worry, we have you covered and will be sending everyone a second key when Xbox One beta begins. Terminal Velocity is my first "real" Halo 4 Forge map. Up to this point, I had only gone into Forge to create "Oldschool" maps, by placing weapons similar to Halo 3 for appropriate gametypes, and setting up a type of Neutral Bomb before the mods started coming out. I have been hosting custom lobbies for Forgers for some time, and finally decided to design my own creation. Squad Battle in Halo 3 was my all-time favorite playlist, and the inspiration for the size of my map. My lobbies, most recently carrying the title "Spartans' Playground", reflect the type of maps I personally enjoy experiencing: those maps that transport you to another world, a unique experience, whether it is visually or it surprises you with an unexpected element. I especially enjoy maps that allow free exploration and limited boundaries. I tried to encompass these qualities in Terminal Velocity, which has minimal kill zones (Think, the sand dunes on SandTrap...), and a unique spawn system. Spartans were made for this... Terminal Velocity is set up for competitive 6v6: Slayer, Dominion (not tested yet), CTF, Ricochet (not tested yet). At this time there are no weapons spawns, as I am still studying map balance, which so far is unexpectedly fairly sound using default War Games Infinity. Description : Beacon is a symmetrical 4v4 map made on Forge Island. It has two bases for Red Team and Blue Team, as well as two side bases (colored yellow and green). Red base is coupled with Yellow base, and Blue coupled with Green, in the sense that there is ramp leading from Red to Top Yellow and no ramp from Blue to top yellow. The same goes for Blue and Green. Apart from this, Mid is colored purple and has three levels. The Overshield spawns on Top-Mid (Purple 3 or L3). The Sniper Rifle spawns on Bottom Yellow, and the Railgun spawns on the Bottom Green. There is also Blue Bridge, Red Bridge, Yellow Bridge, and Green Bridge structures which connect their respective bases to other bases. Furthermore, there are also multiple Tactical Jumps detailed in the Showcase video below. As you may know world of tanks is coming to the Xbox 360 and Wargaming wants you to participate in their beta. But for now the beta will only open to those in North America and Canada but those located in Europe or other territories will be emailed as soon as the beta becomes available there, so they are accepting non North American and Canadian applications. Hello my fellow forgers and anyone else out there who stumbled upon this topic, I have had an idea I have Ben gathering resources for for a long time now, and it is time to unveil it, Halo: Battlefront. This is going to be a reboot of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 within Halo 4. I know there are a lot of people out there who loved Star Wars: Battlefront 2 as much as I did, and were crushed by the fact that it was abandoned a speculated 60% or more into completion do to the fall of Lucas Arts, So I have taken it upon myself to try to get together a team if experienced forgers to make this happen, I have the Gametype ready to go, all that needs to be done now, is the maps, I need a series of modded maps. My first project I am going to undertake in this, is the Jedi Temple, I am going to need about 100 dominion base stripes to create the holo book cases in the library, if there is a way to get the holographic table in impact over to forge world, that would be awesome, I also need about another 100 or so block 4x4 flats at make this happen. I also need a team of at least 5 other experienced forgers who can memorize a map layout and have a passion far making this happen, to make this happen, the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 game mode is in the dominion game mode, allowing me to fully exploit the game to its fullest potential. Please guys, lets make this happen. So to catigorise all of this an give a proper list, here is what I need, and what my goals are. NEEDS: -Modded forge Island with 100 dominion base stripes, 100 block 4x4 flat, 50 Circular Ramp small -5 experienced forgers with a passion for Forging and Star Wars battlefront 2, Good memory, and ability to listen and get things done -People experienced with modding game types for further tweaking -Many Beta testers when the maps are ready -floor plans of all of the SW:BF2 maps (Google sketchup optional) -patience as this will definitely take months to perfect Goals: -to rebirth Star Wars: Battlefront 2 -to provide the halo community with a fun, interactive game type -to revolutionize Halo 4's multiplayer -to create a smooth gameplay experience that I well balanced and well designed

INFORMATION FOUND AT GAMESPOT [uPDATE] EA confirms next entry in shooter series, promises access to beta next year for those who preorder October's Medal of Honor Warfighter; "The Battlefield 3 story is still just the beginning," company says. This morning, Electronic Arts confirmed Battlefield 4, and said a beta for the new shooter will commence during fall 2013 for unspecified platforms. Gamers can get access to the trial period by preordering this October's Medal of Honor Warfighter. EA said more details regarding Battlefield 4 and its beta will be announced at a later date. Battlefield 4's beta will deploy next fall. Speculation concerning Battlefield 4 was sparked over the weekend, when EA's Origin webstore posted, and subsequently removed, promotional material for the game. [uPDATE] The official Battlefield website has been updated with a message from EA on Battlefield 4. The statement says the company has nothing further to share on Battlefield 4 at present, and talked up Battlefield 3 as a game still in its early stages. "Even with billions of bullets fired and millions of games played, we know the Battlefield 3 story is still just the beginning," reads a line from the statement. The existence of Battlefield 4 comes as little surprise. Battlefield 3 arrived in October 2011 to a warm critical reception and shipments of 15 million units. Additionally, EA Labels president Frank Gibeau said in November "there is going to be a Battlefield 4." Battlefield 4 may not be the only new franchise entry in the works. I am looking for people to test three of my maps. Vertigo v1.1, Vertigo v1.2, and "[Enter Name Here]". If you want to test them just message my GT for an invite to a game. At least 8 people are required to start testing. Edit:I will not be online until tomorrow morning (August 19th). Based on the opinions of the beta testers, the map will be improved for better gameplay. On the maps Vertigo v1.1 and v1.2 there will be multiple gametypes tested. Including KOTH, Stockpile, Headhunter, and Team Slayer.

I found out a solution. Instead of making everyone else's gaming experience judged on by 1000-2000 people on the forums, why don't you try this. Instead of making the Title update mandatory, why don't you do a test? For a bout a month, make another playlist, that only has no title update. That way there would be a one playlist with title update in every gametype, and one without it. It would include every playlist, but without the title update. Moniter the number of players on each play list. Whichever one gets more players would become the new official title update. A: there might be a new video of frank o'conor talking and some people might see some pictures about halo 4 on the walls with some really good info like at halo fest. After playing the title update for a little while me and my friends have come to the conclusion that reach is no longer halo. A couple of my friends are die hard halo fans nd theyre considering selling there copy because its so broken and i agree with them. Now i realize some you guys like the update because its more like call of duty. Well then you have no business playing halo. Every game has its own unique play style. Through the previous halos they always have kept th e same play style(by they i mean Bungie). Reach had the same feel too but after 343 released the title update its nothing like what halo players have been used to and enjoying before. In my opinion and my friends as well 343 needs to release an update to take away the changes or what would be the best would be to set everything back to the beta. And when i say everything i mean everything game type settings weapons abilities vehicle everything. Do that or at least make a playlist with beta settings because i believe that would bring a lot of halo fans back.
