  1. Ok, so ever since the First Look Trailer, I have been seeing many threads complaining about how Halo 4 will be copying COD. First off, Halo 4 will be like Halo 4. That's why its called Halo in the first place. 343i knows what they're doing and will make whatever decision is for the best. Beside's, half of their team is made up of Ex-Bungie Employees, and even fans. Also, the perks you've heard about, aren't even called perks. Frank O' Connor said that those were just the names reporter's gave it. And yes, armor will affect gameplay, but not the way most of you are thinking. It will most likely be small things like "2% more jump height" and stuff. Lastly, as you all know, Halo 4 will be introducing custom classes/loudouts. No this will not be like COD. 343i even when out of their way, to state that players wouldn't be able to choose power weapons as their starting weapon. But instead, they will most likely be able to choose simple weapons like the Battle Rifle, DMR, Assault Rifle, or magnum as their starting weapon. This has actually long been a fan request since Halo 2. So yeah, stop complaining guys. Halo 4 is in good hands. 343i is taking it into a new direction, and change is good. We need to all stop looking a the past games and move forward. Thanks for reading, TheL337destroyer

  3. Here is a new trailer for the live action series Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn. This trailer is called "Enlist" and it's the third trailer 343 industries have released for this series. It focuses on the young recruits that have joined the military academy, the series is set to be released on October 5th. 5. Now, before I begin, I must apologize in advance if this or something similar to this has been posted. Anyway, without further ado.... There are shots of blue-armored, short little aliens in the trailer. I thought to myself, knowing the fact that forerunners were only approximately a meter tall... which is about the same height of the blue aliens, that possibly, those could very well be the forerunners themselves. My evidence to prove this? Look at the image here: Where it says ``An Ancient Evil Awakens``, there is a symbol behind it. This, I am nearly certain, is a forerunner symbol. Therefore inferring that they will play a role in the game, and a major, bad-news one at that. And now, what do we have here? It seems that John has brought along a few friends. By the looks of them, it very well seems a possibility that they are Spartan III`s, or most likely, Spartan IV`s. These could possibly be the characters that fill in for the co-op experience. The question is, Who? Why? And How? I hope all of these questions will be answered in time. Now, I know that we already know about the prometheans, but I decided I would Include a picture of one in action Also, on a slightly different note, the banshee aesthetics have been revealed. Drum roll, please... And the reach looks are back! While I, personally, like the reach design better, what do you think? Support, or no? Anyway, unfortunately, there was no evidence on what playing style and physics the banshees use. But assuming the it is reach`s aesthetically, it may very well be the reach controls. Anyway, that is all I`ve got. I hope I found something useful!
  6. Alright, firstly, here's the video. http://e3.gamespot.c...-and-stage-demo The weapons that are confirmed by this video are as follows, but are of course subject to change by the time the game comes out. There also appears to be NO BLOOM in the demo. The Battle Rifle: The 3-shot burst human precision weapon is the first weapon seen in the trailer. I think a lot of us are happy it's back. It carries 36 rounds per magazine. The Assault Rifle: This makes a come-back as well as the human medium-short range assault weapon. This is actually Master Chief's favorite weapon. It carries 32 rounds per magazine. The Plasma Pistol: Seen being held by the grunts and a jackal. Was not fired. The Carbine: Seen held by an elite. Was not fired. The Energy Sword: Also seen held by an elite shortly before he was vaporized. Was not used. Fragmentation Grenade and Plasma Grenade: It looks like you'll be able to hold 4 of each grenade, judging by the amount of grenades Chief starts with in the stage demo. You can see the grenades counter in the top left of the HUD. Sprint: Master Chief sprints in the video, but we don't see a meter running down. Does this mean sprint is unlimited? Or is it just for the demo? Lightrifle: A forerunner weapon. It appears to be a precision weapon, similar to the Battle Rifle and the Carbine. It carries 15 shots per magazine, like the DMR. It seems to do more damage than a DMR though, one shotting some of the smaller enemies. It may be that they were "headshots" or that that enemy is weak against it. It also has a zoom feature. Scattershot: This is a forerunner weapon. It appears to be close-medium range weapon. It looks similar to the shotgun, with 5 rounds per magazine. It also acts like the shotgun when fired as well, appearing to be best suited for close to medium range combat. Forerunner Vision: This appears to be a cross between heat vision and X-Ray vision. Enemies appear in red. No friendlies were seen in the video so it's possible that they may appear a different color, or not appear at all. Banshee: Seen early on in the demo. Not clear as to the mechanics yet. Phantom: Also seen early on in the demo. Probably not drive-able, but who knows? More will be added when more comes to light.
  7. i was doing some talking in the chat above and i have came up to a conclusion that the weird structure in the trailer is something hidden behind a halo ring possibly
  8. A leak found on their Microsoft Job Promotional Video: Working at 343i. Looks like the Halo 3 AR is back! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nUod7k2HwU&feature=related Full Video (Its at 00:25): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXs2SdH8WSg&feature=youtu.be
  9. So real quick, I just want to say this. I routinely check Halo Waypoint every other day to see the bulletins/updates. Now they usually always start popping up around 1:30-2:00 for me (eastern time). But for some reason this today, they haven't. I mean come on, its almost 5:00. Is 343i maybe waiting to post a Major Update? Who nows, just a reason and a theory to help us wait and see if there is going to be any info..
