  1. Hi guys. i was watching youtube videos the other and and i ended up going through alot of videos made by THFE (the halo forge epidemic). i saw one videos where they were talking about how they git some of the invasion maps that they forged into matchmaking. this gave me an idea that halo 4 should have a game type that only features maps and game types created by players. how this could work is that there would be a page where people submit maps that they've created and would like to see in matchmaking. then someone from either THFE or 343 would go through and test out maps to see if theyre good enough to be in matchmaking. i realize that this would be time consuming for whoever would be reviewing the maps. what they could do is choose like 10-15 maps that they want to be in match making and once a month, swap the maps for different ones. if you think this is a good idea or have any suggestions then please comment

    "S"

Download Link Player Count: 10-14 Gametypes: Team Slayer, Multi Flag CTF, 3-Flag, Assault, Neutral Bomb, Stockpile, KOTH, 3-Plots Hello everyone. In an attempt to bring more activity to the Forge World forums, several avid forgers including myself have decided to share our goods here. Most of these are not new maps (this one was finished last November after five months of testing), but these are quality maps which have been tested endlessly and honed to something resembling perfection. So, what is S? Well, it is a symmetrical map for squad/BTB games (10-14 players). The map is designed completely around creating a perfect balance between infantry and warthogs. The map plays a mean game of multi flag CTF, with some of the most hectic but balanced gameplay around. This video should explain everything to you, and I know you'd all rather listen to me speak than read a wall of text. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUkyY1grmfI&list=SP6A29376A730D8C40&index=3&feature=plpp_video So, that covers pretty much everything, right? Thanks to all the testers and everyone who helped with this map in any way. You guys are the best. For the rest of you, what are you waiting for? Go play this map! Don't forget, the map also supports 4-player splitscreen! Thanks for reading! Don't forget to download!
  3. Gamertage: Death by Dogs Map: Field ch. 0 Preview Gametype: Fields Fields is a rather interesting free-roam map, You can decide to play the game like a hide-and-seek game or a traditional holdout game. The map takes place in the entire Canyon, the cave, and a section of the island where you will find may abandoned biuldings and areas ranging from a pier house to a camp site to a pipeline to a grave yard etc. At each of these points of intrest you will find weapons from earlier strugles and weapons are only found at these areas, none are in the open fields. There are only two DMRs with 0 extra clips but will be usefull if you find the areas they were left at, and one sniper with 0 extra clips also. all other weapons are assault rifles, shotguns, and a few magnums. The Story: You have been wandering these fields for multiple days, no one in sight, empty biuldings and things just left to rust. What happened here? On the 7th day you spot something on the horizon, you walk towards it and a figure comes to focus, another person. You begin to run towards them not thinking at all, and when you reach him you shoot him in the chest. Then you remove its head just to make sure its dead. You think to yourself,"They've found me..." This is going to be a series I plan on starting in halo 4 and I wanted to get some sort of a preview out to everybody. This series is going to be called "Fields".

  5. Name of Map: Covenant Cruiser Link to MAP: http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/haloreach/Mattias25/fileshare#!/?section=MapVariants&MapId=&GameMode=0&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&tags=&startIndex=0&details=30627137 Link to Gametype: http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/haloreach/filebrowser/Details/30627139 Recommended Player Count: 10 Gamertag: Mattias25 Gamertag: Mattias25 Map: Covenant Crusier Gametype: Infected Cruiser This map is meant to be played with the gametype "Infected Cruiser". It makes it so that all the zombies are Elites. The scenario of this linear style infection map is that a squad of spartans have crashed their pelican into a covenant cruiser. The air is running out and the humans have got 10 seconds to scavange what weapons they can from the crashed aircraft and to run to the breathable zone on the other side of a shield door. What they don't know is that the Elites on the ship have become infected by some sort of virus and they are charging at the humans from different tunnels and airvents which can be found throughout all the ship. Covenant weapons can be found all over the ship and the humans have to switch to these since their ammo will be low. The humans have to fight their way through the cruiser (time-mapped events allow them to move forward) to finally find salvation inside a drop pod which seals them of from the zombies during the final moments of the game. Recommended player count is 8-14, 10 being the best. The human spawn Zombie teleport 1 The first playable area Zombie teleport 2, putting additional pressure on the humans The crate explodes, allowing people to acces the second area The corridor of the second area The corridor of the second area from another pespective The covenant armory of the second area Zombie teleport 3 The second area A killball (with a kill zone) which humans can get pushed down into if they don't work together to keep the zombies abey The narrow bridge spawns in, allowing humans to move forward (no shovelling!) The third area Zombie teleport 4 The plasma launcher can be picked up here, as well as some complementary plasma repeaters The gravity lift allows players to move on to the final playable area The fourth and final playable area The fourth and final playable area Hope you enjoy it!
  6. Hello, please check out my map. 2 - 4 players for maximum fun. comes with gametype. I know you don't really review maps for small amounts of people, but this is really fun. Map link: http://halo.xbox.com...etails=20727331 Gametype link: http://halo.xbox.com...etails=26703483 Feel free to check out some of my other maps. (A lot of them are for personal purposes, so please check out ones like 'Area 39', 'Shut Down', 'Water treatment center' - gt: KOTH, 'gammazone', 'Euphoria city' or 'Truemans War'.
  7. I recommend going to about 12 players as the player count for this game type. I created this after realizing that you could really make 3 different types of zombies, so I experimented and found something that was sort of like a stacking difficulty version of juggernaut. The Minotaur spawns in the middle of the labyrinth, and yes there is a sort of maze that you play on. Other zombies either spawn as harpies, which really just are meant to point out where players are, or sentries, which are non moving, high damage shooters that have spartan lasers. 8. Spartanscout396 reporting in with a Lobby announcement: Halo 2 Mjolnir Mix.mp3 Hello gamers of the Forum. I try and run lobbies with all around games... Some games i tend to avoid just to keep people from fighting and arguing. I will try and run Infection, Slayer, Insane, King of the Hill, Invasion, Stockpile, and any other games. I am all around when it comes to games. I'm not a pro in all or any of them but i play for fun. I strongly enforce the Honor System for Halo. Most of the maps and game-types that i have have been sponsored by THFE, also i have a few of my own. Please no Parties i will only do Game Chat. I will not deal with anyone's bull!@#$, so if you get kicked it was more for rude behavior, insulting me or other player(s), and/or constant profanity. Otherwise, send me a message on Xbox live or on here for an invite if I'm on. Thank you and I hope i see people sending me messages and invites.
  9. COMPANY FREELANCER Company Freelancer or CFL is a Competitive Clan. We have very skilled members that will more than likely be on everyday. We don't judge people by K/D but how they perform. How well you do in a 1v1, or Team Slayer with the clan determines if you can join. We don't necessarily have a ranking system all we really require is that you wear the emblem. Our clan record is I would say around 26-1. We have two leaders one being myself and the other being the U.K. Leader WK Fighter. We have a U.S. and U.K. Division. I lead the U.S. We have around 35 members. We have a youtube link here http://www.youtube.com/user/CompanyFreelancer/featured and if you would like to sign up using a form you can go to our website here http://companyfreelancer.webs.com/ there we will post clips, gameplay, clan battles, game nights, machinimas, etc. You can expect us to be around for a while and expect us in Halo 4. If you would like to join message me JimmyEagle13 or sign up using the form on the webite.
  10. Jump Rope Player Count: 8-16 Map Name: Jump Rope Gametype: Jump Rope No, it's not an actual moving rope for you to jump over, but its the same concept. Instead of a rope, you're jumping traffic, while on a rope. And since this is an infection game, the more people that get infected, the more traffic there will be. Two zombies start each round, while everyone else spawns on top of a rope. Humans cannot move left or right, they can only jump. They also start with spikers and plasma pistols for entertainment purposes. The infected spawn in a room with large variety of vehicles to choose from. About 30 seconds into the game, wraiths begin to spawn. Each round is 3 minutes long. You'll also notice everyone has jet packs, but only the last man can use it. Last man also earns 5 points along with an additional 5 points for any remaining survivors. I also added a unique feature on this map. As many of you know, the covenant vehicles like to glitch and flip at random times at about 1000mph. Instead of just letting them fly into space or die, I added a complicated set of teleporters to "catch" the flying vehicles and re-teleport them so they glitch straight towards the humans below. There are also two vehicle grav lifts that the infected can use to fly towards their enemies if they choose. If you choose to not use a vehicle, you will die in the sky, fall, and hit the ground while everyone below points and laughs. Another great map for any large party. I hope you enjoy it!
  11. Hello, I am a big fan of all of THFE's work and I have an idea. Earlier, I made crates with weapons on top that spawn a few minutes into the game. I was trying to replicate weapon drops, like in Halo 4. I'm sure you guys could make something way better than that, but I still wanted to share how I did it. Anyway, I hope you consider my idea and do a turorial. Sincerely, theDman1954

    Raptors

Hello guys! I'm here to present to you a map made by Tomlids. He does not yet have an account here and so I am taking the liberty of promoting his awesome map.The map is named Raptors and supports both infection and race in a Jurassic Park themed setting. The gametype uses a special varient where all zombies are elites. Download Map Here: Download "Special" Gametype Here Otherwise it is recommended that you use the gametype: zm_outbreak Below you is an overview shot of the map showing the zombie respawn points. The main idea behind this project was to have a medium sized infection map that supported all sorts of fun gameplay. This map has without a doubt achieved its goal. Humans can hold out in a tremendous number of ways, ranging from holing up in close quarter tunnels to riding in the back of a warthog. VIDEO LINK Weapons available: -rockets -sniper -shotguns -pistols -grenades -assault rifles -turret Vehicles available: -1 warthog -1 mongoose The shining jewel of the map has to be the warthog gameplay. The map was redesigned specifically to promote better vehicle pathing and now warthogs can take full advantage of the loop around the map. The best hope for surviving in the warthog is to keep moving and the circuit worked into the map allows it to do just that. The size of the map however keeps the warthog from becoming too powerful as the raptors can easily cut across the main building to flank the vehicles or lay ambushes. Some action shots... Here humans are seen defending the campsite. The warthog barrels through the cave where the rockets spawn Just about the best mode of transport to out distance the raptors Holding out in the smallest of the three rooms inside the main building
