  1. It seems that Batman: Arkham Knight, which releases this June, will be getting a hefty Season Pass with a ton of content! Most gamers who were excited for Batman: Arkham Knight were shocked to find out recently that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. will be doing a $40 Season Pass for the game. Warner Brothers, however, quickly responded and let loose a plethora of details on what makes the Season Pass worth the money. GameSpot.com has the details, as the Season Pass will apparently include 3 new story packs and 3 new skin packs, one of which is ideal for classic fans. Batgirl: A Matter of Family - A prequel expansion that will take place in Batgirl's past, allowing you to play as her for the first time in a new story arc set in a new location. The Season of Infamy - This expansion will allow you to play as Batman again in a set of missions pitting you against legendary villains from the past that will feature all new gameplay mechanics. Gotham City Stories - The stories of Batman's allies are now playable expanding their lore in the game and taking you from both before and after the events of Arkham Knight. Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks - This pack will give you access to legendary versions of the Batmobile all with different themes and styles and all will be drivable on the game's numerous race tracks which also align to the vehicle's signature era. Crimefighter Challenge Maps - A variety of new maps that utilize the unique crime-fighting styles of Batman and his allies in the game's story. Character Skins - A variety of skins from across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman. View attachment: bet you aint readin this.jpg Warner Bros. has stated that they don't want to give away all details yet, meaning there could be more expansions awaiting us in the future. I am really excited for all the new stuff available with this, and may just have to pick it up when I can. What are your thoughts on this Season Pass, is it too excessive? Let me know down below! Thanks for reading! View full article

  3. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel now has a confirmed Season Pass with some new content for the game in the future teased in the description! Borderlands has a history when it comes to downloadable content, with the original's critically acclaimed DLCs, and Borderlands 2's fairly well received expansion packs for new areas, creative enemies, great new playable characters, and other features like customization items and weapons. If the description for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel's Season Pass, according to GameSpot.com, has anything to say about it, we can expect some exciting things in the future for the prequel game. 2K released the image today, promising new challenges, characters, experiences, and maps and missions, with four confirmed major expansions and other releases sprinkled in. You can purchase the packs singularly for a fair price of $10, or spend $30 on the Season Pass to get a decent deal. Details on the expansions within the Season Pass however are slim, even to 2K Australia and Gearbox, the people working on it however. A possible idea was talked about, having Handsome Jack himself (his body double actually) as a character with how well received he is by fans. A piece of confirmed DLC, the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit, is staying put as a pre-order bonus until further notice, but it may be added to the market for it's own price. View attachment: 2640197-borderlands.jpg Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel launches on October 14th for last generation consoles and PC, with no current generations ports planned. What do you think of the idea of DLC already in development for a game that's basically in itself a DLC developed into a full game? Discuss it below! Thank you very much for reading everyone!

  5. Bethesda's upcoming Survival-Horror The Evil Within is getting downloadable content after it's launch as a Season Pass has been announced! There are a plethora of horror games releasing within the next few years, between Silent Hills, the Resident Evil 1 remake, and Alien Isolation, now Bethesda, known for The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises, is throwing their hats into the ring with a psychological survival horror called The Evil Within. IGN.com picked up that Bethesda has announced a Season Pass for the game, selling at $20 USD. Three add-ons are included with unknown release windows. The first has you take control of a man called 'The Keeper' as you follow on an unknown story at the time, taking part in 'sadistic' mission based maps. The next two follow an episodic sense as a two part story concerning the main character's female partner, Juli, elsewhere in the environment of The Evil Within. The Evil Within launches this October on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and PC available for the standard game price of $59.99. View attachment: the-evil-within-logo.jpg Are you excited for The Evil Within and it's Season Pass, or do you dislike the idea of development of DLC this early in development of the main game? Debate and discuss it below, thanks for the read!

  7. I bought a season pass thinking that it would allow access to all maps added to Halo 4, but these two new ones AND the new gametype I have to buy seperately. Doesn't matter how cheap they are it's the principal, and I'm disappointed in the flagrant false advertising.
  8. When I first read this I kind of laughed, but then thought it is better than nothing. Having to buy a game you already own again just to play it on a the new XBOX One is, well, kind of a put off. I mean you want a game when it first hits the market, then realize you have to shell out another $60.00 for another copy plus the $500.00 for the new console. I guess my initial laugh was based on the thought, "Who is willing to pay $120.00 for a game when they can wait a month or two and get it for $60.00?" The DLC seems hardly any kind of an inducement to pay out that kind of money. I am not the one who could legitimately speak to the new console being backwards compatible for 360 games, but can figure the need for a dual purpose disk reader and supporting hardware/software may not be an easy task or financially viable. Hopefully someone who knows that field better than I can explain that matter. Here is the original story that caught my attention, plus the link to XBOX Wire for the statement in their own words. Microsoft's Xbox 360-One Season Pass Guarantee Most carry across. But there's a catch... By Robert Purchese Thursday, 15 August 2013 story found @ eurogamer.net "Good news*! Companies signing up to Microsoft's Season Pass Guarantee - and the big names apparently are - will give you automatic access to Season Passes for Xbox One games that you've bought on Xbox 360. *There's just one catch: you have to buy the game again on Xbox One. Activision, EA and Ubisoft were mentioned as participating, and Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 were name-dropped. It's better than nothing." story found @ eurogamer.net

  10. Hey, 343. I spent 100 dollars on the LE of H4, because I really wanted the Season Pass. I typed in all of the codes that were in my case; however, I don't have a season pass, and as a result, don't have the new map pack. Could someone please rectify this?
  11. So I only bought the Halo 4 standard edition cause I just got an xbox 360 and when I preordered halo 4 it was all out of Limited edition etc. I dont have the wargame season pass and was wondering if it was still worth buying. You save 15% on all map packs but you also need to spend money to buy that season pass so how would that save you any money? If it does, it would be very little anyway, since it cost 2000 MS points to buy and thats $33 in Australia. I dont know if its worth spending money just to save a little for future DLC. Any Suggestions? Cheers
  12. Ubisoft releasing a season pass for 'Assassins Creed 3'. The pass will cost you a extra $30. Will be available across all platforms. Read below for more details From: http://www.computera...pass-confirmed/ By: Mike Jackson for CVG UK The AC3 Season Pass, only previously rumored when a claimed internal GameStop document was leaked, has been officially confirmed via this week's US PlayStation Store update, which offers gamers the opportunity to pre-order the game with a Season Pass for an extra $30 over the usual $59.99 price. The PS Blog update confirms, Ubi will offer an Assassin's Creed 3 Gold Edition which, at $89.99, will come with a Season Pass which is expected to give gamers access to much of the 'extensive' DLC the developer has planned for AC3. When asked in the blog comments if the Season Pass would be offered separately, a rep replied replied "Yup, it will". There was no mention of a standalone price, but the $30 mark up on the Gold Edition of the game is a solid hint. Ubisoft has confirmed an Assassin's Creed 3 release date of October 31 on PS3 and Xbox 360, with an Assassin's Creed 3 PC release date to follow on November 23. A Wii U version will be available at the console's launch.
