Heyo, welcome to The Best & WORST! As you can see, this is a new series. "What kind of series?" you ask? Well, one where I ask 2 questions about a certain series or subject. Like: What is the Best Halo comic? & What is the WORST Halo comic? Got it? OK, good, let's begin with a (hopefully) enthralling subject to get those mental gears turning... Who is the Best Spartan in Halo? & Who is the WORST Spartan in Halo? Whether or not The Best & WORST will continue is up to you guys, but if it WILL continue you may post some suggestions on what the NEXT Best & WORST should be about! SD, out!

This is for a research purpose; we are trying to conclude which is the best halo 3 map for mostly any given game type. For example CTF, VIP, Team Death Match, FFA, Oddball and etc… In conclusion vote for the map that is your favorite map. Feel free too discuss and add your input of why you like a certain map. (Hopefully the poll shows up correctly otherwise I will have to try again. and some maps had to be excluded from the poll as they couldn't fit in the poll.) The maps that got excluded were: Stand off, Snowbound, Sanbox, Foundry. If you want to vote for these you can do so through the comments.

Hey guys, long time. I'm working on a project for the Hub of the Dead Infection-Map contest over at Forge Hub! So, I have most of it done. Now I'm just confused over one little detail. That has to do with the way the sky looks. Now, I'm going to give you guys two images that don't have too much stuff from the entire map, and are from an older version, but that's okay, because technically I haven't "revealed" it to any forum yet. I'm going to have descriptions for each one, and so that'll tell you whatever you can't gather from the pictures (which will probably be a lot of stuff). So I want you guys to either vote for option 1, or option 2 as a lighting setup. Don't forget, this is an infection map. OPTION 1: This is a daylight option. It's bright, has lots of sunlight, a sandy atmosphere, slightly cloudy but has bluish sky. Performance and light-baking is slightly better on this setup. It looks similar to WyvernZu's lighting on her Sandtrap remake. OPTION 2: This option is not a night option by any stretch of the imagination, as the huge sun on parallax shines through everything. But it is noticeably darker, has a slightly thicker sand effect and is also just a more effed up day time. One thing to note is that performance with the light-baking is worse than Option 1, and some pieces look a tiny bit glitchy (nothing that you can notice unless you look really carefully). So that's that! Basically, I'm not sure of a scary vibe needs a darker lighting necessarily. I've been told that my map feels like it was once lived in, and something happened where people died/can't be there anymore, and this was with Option 1 on. So, that's the thing. It's an infection map, so a sketchiness is favorable. But, if it can be achieved without having to be physically darker, it's fine. Anyway, thanks and vote if you read this! Hello there ladies, welcome to the official weekly site poll #3 hosted by me and Kenway! This is the poll where we ask you about your opinion on (mostly) current events and give you back the most popular opinion the next week. "But guys, you left about a two week gap between this poll and the last. What gives?!" You're right and we sicerely apologize for the delay. Kenway's PC decided to go kaboom and my schedule has just been flooded. But we're here now! Last week we asked you about your thoughts on the REQ packs. Most of you seemed fine with it as long as it is balanced properly. A reply that stood out to me was made by Bnus who focussed more on the gameplay aspect of the matter. Which is We've finally got a bit of information about Forge in Halo 5 and so I want to know what you're hopes and dreams are as well as your biggest fear. Hello and welcome ladies and gentlewomen to the 2nd weekly site poll done by me and Kenway! The weekly poll is where we ask you for your opinion on (mostly) current events and give the most popular opinion back to you the next week. Last week we asked you about if you'd like to see the lore be expanded outside of the game (in books, comics, etc.) or prefered it to stick with the games. There were quite a few responses and most of you prefered it if the story was kept within the game, but didn't mind some of the side stories within other media. I think Axilus Prime explained it just right: Thanks for all your responses! Now let's move on to this weeks topic. This week we've gotten a more detailed explaination on requisition packs, or REQ Packs for short, from 343i where Mister Chief assured us that we shouldn't worry as much about them and that everything will be fine. So taking this information into account, would you like to see more extended universe content in the Halo universe in the future, such as books, television shows, etc. Or, would you prefer we stick to the games and avoid all those complicated side stories? Alright, so Yoshi and I and a few others are working and testing some maps out. We have less than half finished, but we're working on them. Nonetheless, this will take quite some time before they are done. However, we will make sure they work well. Test lobbies will be ran, and bugs/glitches will be fixed to their best. Now, before this keeps going on and sounding like chivalry. I should explain what the topic is all about. Featuring what to expect, and to do. This is a chain-effect Event setup. In better words, have you ever played GTA 5's Heists? Or Witcher? Or even Deus Ex? Although those are some great examples, what this event is... It's not quite like that, but it's sorta like that. What your team does that round, and if they win, that will affect the outcome. Simply put, the maps are all fixed maps. However, outcomes will affect the rotation and the continuation. There will be SIX different maps. The first FIVE maps will be setups. Each one featuring different objectives. E.x.: Assault, CTF, Territories, Slayer, Elimination/S&D. The SIXTH map, will be a surprise gametype. However, this one is greatly affected by your outcomes. You could be having fun, or you could be on a defensive retreat, leading to your game over. Just make sure what you do, you get it done. A backstory will also be added to the "Heist" or "Setup". Giving each team something fun to read afterwards when the results are posted. Also, please take note that even after the playthrough is complete. The Event will not be, we can play it again, mix up the teams, and enjoy the fun. Any questions or concerns? Hey everyone! This is just a little poll for me to get a read on people who play on the 3DS and play competitively. Hey everyone. So I'm thinking of hosting a MoM event on Destiny on the Xbox One. I'll be getting my Xbox One in about a week and Destiny a few days after it's release. I'll be packing away my Xbox 360 because of a lack of space in my room. This leaves me with two options. I can either A. Host an Event on Destiny on the Xbox One, or B. Host an Event on any Halo game this weekend. This weekend leaves little time and would be rushed, but an Event on Destiny on the Xbox gives more time. I'm not sure how many people will be getting Destiny on the Xbox one though. So vote in the poll and comment below to see how this will all turn out. Thank you. - Blake BellaMoMa
