So i wanted to start a thread on the score to Halo 4 and what potentials Halo 5 could hold. I know there are mixed emotions regarding Halo 4's soundtrack. Me personally i like some elements and some not so much. There are only a couple of pieces for me that are really memorable. I think the soundtrack to Halo 4 stands for what it was meant to, which is to give an identity to the unique and awesome nature of the Forerunners. It feels alien and has the techy feel to match it. That being said it has nothing nearly as memorable as Breaking Benjamins Blow Me Away, or Reach's, soaring anthem. I would like to see a re-imagining if you will of how Bungie approached the soundtrack to Halo 2. Bring in some bands again to really dig in and give it some meat. Those were songs written by fans of the game. People who really enjoyed the story and just plain got it. I kno wthat 343 really wanted to create this large epic movie styled story, but for me there was no music in game that really got me pumped. That made me want to jump off my couch and be all like "hell yeah" take that you split lipped ba$&*rd$. Sound off marines.

Please turn off the music in the matchmaking lobby! It is like being water-boarded... over and over and over again the same 12 second sound track being drilled into the brain. It's so aggravating I want to tear my headphones off between matches, but then I can't enjoy conversation w/ my friends.

It would be a great idea to do ones of the following: 1) Add the option to turn the sound effects/etc off in forge; giving us the option to listen to our own music on our hardrive. 2) Give us the option to play the halo soundtrack in forge instead of going insane listening to your monitor for hours on end. 3) BETTER YET, put an item in forge (that you can only play one of) and have it trigger the Halo soundtrack (player's choice in track) to play for all players in the game. How cool would it be listening to some epic game music from the campaign when you're fending off other players in custom flood gametypes!? This could (and would) be annoying for some players; this could be countered by again, giving us control over music volume in the game options.

I just played cod the past 2 hours with a friend, (one of my life's most boring and ridiculous 2 hours)and while waiting for the game countdown to start, there is music depending on the team you are in (most of you know this). And I came up with an idea, why not 343i brings something like this in Halo 4? Or something like Battlefield 3, where music plays in the end of the match depending on victory or defeat? Also it would be cool having the option to enable music during gameplay, with a volume option. Sorry if that has been posted before.

It has been over two years since I played the ODST campaign and was rummaging through You Tube and found a Machinga video. I really had forgotten just how good the graphics and music was for the game. I had played the campaign and fire fights for about a month until internet became available. This game really was much better than I had remembered.

Hey guys, been meaning to post an introduction but am just now getting time to. Well, I guess I'll start with saying that that yes, I'm obviusly a Halo fan, but that's all I really play. ....at all XD I'm 14, turning 15 on Friday, November 25 and have been playing Halo since I was about 6 and have been stuck with it ever since. I live in Tennessee, have a huge passion for music, and love graphic design, Science, and in-depth thinking. XD (I overthink everything, and usually have too much to say about the simplest things just because I think in many different perspectives) The musical instruments I can play are Trumpet, (main) Guitar, Piano. I also know how to play many other Brassinstruments, and can also play some on the dums, but those instruments are the ones that I know most fluently. I was thinking about making a Photoshoo/graphic design thread, but didn't know how many people ever... designed.. XD I was thinking that people coud post images that they had designed or digitally painted, annd maybe even give each other ideas on what to make, or maybe even have a different thread every week on a common subject to create images. Well, I'm glad to be aprt of this community and hope to make a lot of friends with you all. Thanks for reading, RANMAN

Hey yall. Was browsing halo stuff on Google when i can upon this site. Contained the sheet music and i believe mp3 to the majority of halo music. being a high school musician myself i went crazy over this site.
