  1. Hi, I am Logic Venom (Xbox Live Gamertag: MayhemMachine97 ), I am the leader of Team Logic. Team Logic was recently created after the demise of BoS Clan, a clan I co-led and co-owned. As one of the former leaders of BoS Clan, I have moderate experience on running a clan. I recently created a clan called Neco Asylum but my co-leader left and chaos ensued, I am now restarting the clan as Team Logic. I am creating this clan to start off with a new team and a way to meet new people. Some of the things we plan to do are: - Active Forums - Weekly Events - Competitive Teams and QS Teams - Elite - News and Event Team - Graphics Team - Gamebattles and Clan Battles - Team Logic YouTube Channel - Multiconsole and Multigame support We play: - Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (Xbox 360) - Halo 4 - Minecraft (PC and Xbox) On the requirements' side of things, we don't ask for much. All you need to have is: - Need to be mature (age doesn't matter) - Needs to have a mic/headset - Decent to High Skill Level in FPS games IF INTERESTED PLEASE REPLY WITH THIS!! Gamertag: Gender: (optional...it wont change if you can join or not) Country: Mic: Yes/No Or you can send me a message and/or friend invite on xbox live Here's mine: Gamertag: MayhemMachine97 Age: 13 Gender: M Country: USA Mic: Yes How can I contact you with any questions? 3. Source-JoyStiq The Minecraft cart full of gold bars isn't stopping anytime soon, as 4J Studios, developers of the Xbox 360 port of the game, announced it has now sold more than seven million copies on the platform. The previous milestone was set in March, when the game surpassed six million units. Mojang, the studio handling the PC version, announced a couple of days ago the game had passed the 11 million sold mark. The retail version of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, which became available in North America earlier this month, launches in the UK today.

  7. Source-Engadget Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition gets a disc-based version, hits retail April 30th. Minecraft has already been plenty successful on the Xbox 360 as a downloadable game (and on other platforms, of course), but there will soon be another way for players to find their way into the world-building environment. Microsoft announced today that Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will be available as a disc-based game at all the usual US retail outlets on April 30th, where it'll set you back $19.99. The game will be otherwise identical to the downloadable version, and come complete with all the features and content that will be included in the forthcoming ninth update to the game. Gamers in Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan will have to wait a bit longer to get it, though, with release dates in those countries set for early June (other countries haven't been specified).

  9. Source-IGN Mojang has Revealed that maybe one day Minecraft will be on the PlayStation 3,but what about the Wii U? Mojang has revealed that it may one day bring Minecraft to the PlayStation 3, but a Wii U version is "unlikely". Speaking to iGamer (via Edge), Minecraft Pocket lead designer Jens Bergensten revealed that other consoles would be considered once the game's exclusivity deal runs out with Microsoft. "Microsoft has an exclusivity deal for consoles,” he said. ”When it runs out we’ll consider Minecraft for PlayStation, but Wii U is very unlikely." In the meantime the company is said to be focusing on refining the Pocket Edition of the game so it's more in line with the PC version, particularly with reference to "so-called online multiplayer." You can read the full interview with Mojang in the latest issue of iGamer, available via the App Store.

  12. Hi everyone! Forget the HALF Clan post! We made revisions, and need some help with the website! It's not completely done yet, but was made using weebly. If anyone could afford weebly pro, or take a recommendation so I can get a month free, please PM/ Reply here. We now call our clan, HALF Republic. We have made great changes. We, so far, support Minecraft, Halo 4, and Black Ops II. Also, we have a new perspective. Each game's clan is divided into fireteams, for Halo 4, or squads for Black Ops II. So it's a unique clan. If anyone wants to help with the site, once again, PM or reply. Here's the link: halfrepublic.weebly.com. Also, don't judge the clan by the site, do it not yet being complete. If you want to join/help, you know what to do!

  14. I'm the leader of ToksykGaming. My name is Ace. I'd like to find some new people to play with online on Halo 4. Toksyk Gaming is a small group of people that don't mind partying up to do Spartan ops, War Games, hunt achievements, and test Custom Games maps. We wanted to expand because the main four of us started having some minor complications with our gaming schedule, so it seems we're never on at the same time. We'd like to see what other people have to offer, so TGU is now open to anybody who meets these requirements: Must have a working mic (Kinect doesn't count), must have Halo 4 (obviously), and must be 18 years of age minimum (or at least not a squeaker). Those terms are fairly easy to meet, so I'm hoping some of you guys would like to join. If you meet the requirements and would like to join, HMU on XBL with a message saying you're from the forum and want to join. Backstory- All of our members are from rather large clans that were often unsupportive or required too much out of us. We decided to start a small group and we promised to keep it small enough so that we have people to play with, and that people wouldn't be ignored. Thus, TGU. We occasionally film machinima-style videos and I will do some PC stuff (Minecraft, DCU Online, TF2), with the collaboration of a small clan called the GoD X Clan (godzxclann on youtube) and we're always open to volunteers. I hope to be in contact with some of you soon. - Ace of Spades, Leader

  18. Hello, everyone. I will teach you how to create a slime farm with ease with the following instructions. You can do these right away after beginning a new world. I do these on the Xbox version but they can be done on the PC as well. Here's how: 1) Create a 3x3 hole, descending on a drill formation. 2) Around the 3x3 hole entance place a 5x5x3 "survival hut, equipped with a bed, crafting table, and furnace (also place a chest were you think that it should be comfortable. 3a) Stop mining until you reach bedrock. Once you reach it cover 3 blocks upwards were the bedrock was. 3b) If you find a cave or a ravine, patch that with wood, or start all over. If you find a fortress, abort plan (start over) and mark the place as important. 4) Make cobblestone stairs for better access in and out the farm (cave). 5) Start mining a 50x50x3 "Slime farm" and place some chests and furnaces on the entrance. Here you will gather enough cobblestone to create a mansion (along other necessary resources). Without an Iron or Diamond pick, this will easily take 2-3 hours (mostly 3). 6) Each time your inventory maxes deposit cobblestone and other resources on an organized matter in the chests. 7) Lava may come out in some areas, so quickly stand looking towards a solid near the lava area and block it's path (repeat this until there's no more lava). Enchanted Diamond Picks with Efficiency3/Durability3/Fortune2 (or 3) will greatly speed up the process (finishing in 1-2 hours). Benefits of Slime farms? The Slimes, of course, and the resources obtained along the way. These caves can hold up to 30 Diamonds (and trucks full of Diamonds if you have the previously mentioned enchanted Pick). P.S. Once I'm able to play Xbox again, I'll make a sped up tutorial for the visual benefit.
  19. Technic/Tekkit Platform: PC The Director's Rating: 10/10 This is a Minecraft Mod Pack that is ridiculously fun. It's just like normal Minecraft, except with machines and magic! Well, kind of magic. More like "Alchemy" as defined by "Full-Metal Alchemist". It includes the Equivalent Exchange mod, the Balkin's Weapon mod, the Buildcraft mod, and the Blutricity mod. There are more ores as well, such as copper, tin, and silver. There's also a couple more trees, like the Rubber Tree. You can build wires to connect different machines (even including electric furnaces that don't require coal!) and pipes to pump things into and out of chests! There are dozens and dozens of new things to craft in Technic/Tekkit. The difference between the two is that Tekkit is a newer modpack that is multiplayer, while Technic is single player. Tekkit also includes a single player mode, so Tekkit is probably the one you want. Combat: With the Balkin's Weapon mod, PVP becomes ridiculously intense. Not only are there new weapons (muskets, cannons, battle-hammers, etc) but there are also new armors. The weapons and armor can be made to the point where they are very OP, but these are commonly banned on PVP and anti-grief servers. Building: With Tekkit, building is easier than ever, while at the same time challenging. You can make it to where you can instantly get an entire inventory full of whatever you want to build with, but to build what you need to do that takes a very long time. There are many different things and ways you can build in normal Minecraft, and Tekkit adds to that exponentially. EMC: EMC is basically the in-game currency for creating items with Equivalent Exchange. Some things are worth very little EMC, like Cobblestone, while others are worth a lot of EMC, like diamonds. EMC can be transferred into creating items. For instance, if you "condense" a certain amount of cobblestone (around 8k) then you can get a diamond, and a diamond can be exchanged for 8000 cobblestone. Synopsis: This game is a mod-pack that is so different from the original game that it counts as it's own game. It has been described as "how Minecraft SHOULD be played" and I agree in earnest. It is 10x more fun and engaging as normal Minecraft, and is relatively easy to download and play. The only downpart is that you need 64-bit Java installed, and you need a "premium" Minecraft account to play it. The game comes with it's own launcher, and you can select to play Technic, Tekkit, Vanilla Minecraft, Yogsbox, and one other that I forget. While this game is widely popular in the UK and in certain circles elsewhere, it is largely unknown by the gaming community (i.e. most people here have no idea what it is). The Director's Recommendation: This game is MASSIVELY worth it to get. You do need to have a Minecraft account (i.e. the full minecraft game) but other than that it's completely free. I recommend getting it. I don't often give out 10's, but I couldn't find anything to rationalize a deduction for this game. You can find the download link with a google search for "Tekkit" and you can find instructional videos on how to download it on youtube. Seriously, if you have a Minecraft account and are a bit tired of Minecraft, you need to try this mod. Lonely girlfriends guaranteed. If you have a recommendation for a game that I should review, then let me know in the comments (I follow all of my threads ;D). Remember though, if it's a hyped up game then I won't do it. "Lesser Known" is in the title after all. Hope you enjoy your time in the world of games. Wanna see the others? Check out the menu! http://www.343indust...own-games-menu/
  20. Just curious as to what the people of the forum use as money in Minecraft on the Xbox 360. Also I would like to know why. I use flint as money. I use it because it has no use that is absolutely needed. Yes, I know it can be used to make Flint & steel and arrows, but arrows can be gathered from skeletons while flint and steel last for a good amount of time. A lot of people use Iron, Gold, or Diamonds as money, I think that isn't a good form of currency for the reason that those resources are useful for tools, armor, rails, etc. Why use useful materials when you have practically useless materials. To sum it up: Flint = easy to get and not very useful = good currency. Iron/Gold/Diamonds = Useful, less common = not-so-good-currency. [End random speech] - Angel of Death, High Councilor.
  21. I doubt I am the only person to find this but... I have found a way (on survival) to "create" mossy stone bricks and cracked stone bricks in Minecraft: Xbox 360 Mossy stone bricks: Place stone brick stairs on grass. Break with (I did with a stone) pickaxe and you should get the mossy stone. (I got it everytime) Cracked stone bricks: Place stone brick stairs on a stone brick block, Break with (I did with a stone) pickaxe and you should get the cracked stone (Not everytime for me!) This is a good way that I found to get lots of mossy and some cracked stone bricks. Enjoy!
  22. Mojang, the creators of Minecraft, continue reaching new heights with their indie game now having over 8 Million sales of the PC version In addition to blowing the lid off of XBLA sales records with well over 4 million sales, and continuing to set incredible landmarks in the handheld market with over 2 million sold, Minecraft continues to set milestones like never before. Minecraft as a game continues to have a phenomenal level of success, with humble beginnings in the hands of Mojang founding member Markus "Notch" Persson, and growing over a period of years into one of the most successful indie game titles in gaming history. In addition, the recent changes to Minecraft in 1.4.4 - and future changes planned the game, including Mod API support, more adventure map options, and all sorts of customization options - Mojang continues to push the game to new heights, even as they get involved in the community, with everything from direct-feedback bug fixing to real-life rewnewal projects. Congratulations to Mojang for achieving these great heights. And good luck for the future. Though i do believe it will take a miracle to make them dependant on luck at this point.
