As much as I like playing Halo 4 online, it becomes increasingly impossible to play due to connection problems. I remember on Halo: Reach, there were a variety of matchmaking options you could choose from, one being "Good Connection" which selected players from your local region. Being from Australia, it's almost impossible to play online from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM due to all the Americans being online. Don't get me wrong, I don't care about playing with Americans and have nothing against them, plus they offer a better challenge than most other players, however what I don't like is that my bullets seem to want to come out of my gun 2 seconds after I snap back the RT as well as the unresponsiveness of the controller in general which makes online matchmaking both frustrating and boring. So, would there ever be a chance of having Servers or maybe even just putting a Connection setting in for matchmaking so there might be a cut down on the lag?

I have Fiber Optic Cable, 5MB Dwnld/1MB Upld which is the standard internet service of most people, my friend (who lives about 400miles away from me) has 10MB Dwnld/5MB Upld and no matter who is host or time of day, the second person can barely play for the lag is unbearable. This is happening to others around the US, so it's not me or my friend, and it's certainly not my McDonald's WIFI connection. Anyone?

Decided to see who else feels they should follow the same footsteps as those being released nowadays. I think it will be better for a huge title like ''Halo'' and from my experience playing GOW3 on their dedicated servers sure helps out. No longer do i get all the bs games lagging everywhere. If you don't agree that’s cool but take note if you've had lag issues on a game like GOW3 in the past its either down to you having a ****y connection or you playing on their hosted servers which if you go and purchase the new maps you'll find it's better and that they stick you on the dedicated servers which helps a hell of a lot from what we all use to. So what do you think? and if no then please explain why...

Some of my friends can easily beat some levels on LASO solo, but nothing compares to the stick sensitivity lag of the co-op campaign. The loading zone teleportation gets screwed up, You either over aim or under aim, the game keeps freezing and you will most likely will experience fatal lag spikes to the knee. I was not expecting this problem, as for we were fine with Reach campaign, but this is just ridiculous...

I don't know why there aren't more posts about this, as there is definitely a problem. Over several boxes, in several different locations (I went as far as 100 miles from home to test), I noticed there is terrible campaign lag with co-op. Whoever is host has a perfect play, and the client lags up to .2 to .5 seconds, making precision aiming or jumping impossible. I grew up pretty far from where I live now, and playing with all my friends from there is a blast...but not this game, not campaign, and I really hope someone finds a fix for this. I've tried a wired controller, I've tried using original graphics, and I've tried playing with someone in the same town. I'm pretty experienced in IT (it's my job), and I'm pretty sure I've ruled out all the usual suspects. I'm also running a terrible fever of 102, so forgive me for the Robo-rant.
