  1. So a lot of Halo 5 players have been wanting Infection back in Halo 5: Guardians! I do too. This is what I think 343 Industries should do! 1. Bring the Infection mode in January or ASAP ( MAKE SURE IT WORKS) Duh... , 2. TWO styles of Infection that I would like and most Halo 5 Players would want is Classic Infection like from Halo reach and a NEW style using Halo 5: Guardians Game Mechanics. Please respond thank you and have a Happy Holidays!
  2. I've been unable to find online matches since the infection playlist was added. I've let it search for players for 30 plus minutes several minutes and no luck. My friends can find matches, but if i join the party it won't let them. I had no problem finding matches before the infection playlist was added. I've uninstalled the game several times, signed out, unplugged the console, etc. None of these seem to fix the issue. Is anyone else experiencing this? I need help
  3. Hey guys i have been working on a flight map and it is finally finished. In case you did not know, flight is a journey style infection game type where survivors must escort a bomb carrier throughout the entire map. Here is a video walkthrough link https://youtu.be/TaA1cQvKSYc
  4. So I decided this Morning that I would go on a hunt to find all the Classic Halo 3 Maps from Pre-MCC and download them for whenever I would decide play good ole Custom Games again. Or when ever I get gaming internet back... AHHHHHHHH- While Looking I could not find a single mention of 30 Days of Night for The Master Chief Collection. So I decided to make it. 30 Days of Night is set on Cold Storage with only 1 infected throughout the entirety of the round. The Infected starts in a box and the Survivors spawn in front of him. The Infected has Good Camo on. Survivors start with an Assault Rifle and Shotgun, but trust me, you'll be using the shotgun the most. It IS possible to get inside the infected's box, but that is not a wise decision. After 30 Seconds, the map will dim and a few doors will lock themselves with Energy Shielding. If a survivor hasn't gotten to a hiding place now would be a good time to do so. After another 30 Seconds, The Lights will almost completely go out, leaving the map in a very, very dark state. Most of the Doors on the map will lock, leaving few pathways for all players to take. A gravity lift will also spawn for the infected to get out of his Box and hunt down the other players. This extreme Darkness makes seeing the infected very difficult and creates a Paranoid situation for the Survivors. Basically it's Predator in a very dark and CQC environment. Band Together or seperate, your choice. Another Basic Map I have made, but still a fun part of my memory and I hope you can have fun on it too. Both the Gametype and Map are saved in my fileshare [EVOL SPARTAN II] on the MCC under the same name.
  5. So with a quick put together and after looking at what Special FX can do. Yoshi and I have made a dark infection map on Skyward. Known simply as Cat and Mouse. The map is a looped box, as displayed below. The image is an exterior view. You cannot access the exterior at all. If you do, goodbye. Anyways, the inside of the map is full of corridors on a flat surface. Which is grass. Powerups are available every 160 seconds. That's 2 minutes and 40 seconds for those of you who are curious for a breakdown. The following powerups are: Overshield and Active Camoflauge. Both vital if used correctly. Map is dark, but players and weapons are visible. Despite Special FX. Every hallway/tunnel is broken down in view. Covers are placed in positions, forcing you blind from what's on the other side. Take safety measures and carry a shotgun. This map is intended for 6-12 players. But supports 16 players. Which is the maximum. This is a typical simple infection map, symmetrical and easy layout. As seen below, 1st image is the exterior. 2nd image is spawn view. 3rd image is tunnel view. Enjoy!
  6. Look into the Eyes of Flood Mode Now we can see through the eyes of these mysterious creatures. Up until this point we have only seen this picture but now we get inside of them. We get to see what will be on our HUD. And we hear a little information on the attacking style that these creatures will have. Ducain also talks about the new map called Complex, but it's a very brief analysis. Here is the video. Watch till the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IZfuB5jIDk&list=UUzGLSfWbq4CiqKFO9lU9HLg&index=2&feature=plcp Video by Ducain23 I hope you enjoyed let me know what you think in the comments below. Edit: One more Screenshot from Flood Mode

  8. GT: Darnell1992 Map: NZ_Jail Break Gametype: NZ_Jail Break Image : https://s3ugc.blob.core.windows.net/ugc-container/userfiles/ugcuserfile-e600f881-ac79-46ed-bc46-0621111b9fa2-c2fbb9f14a524970-full?sv=2012-02-12&st=2013-12-09T07%3A30%3A42Z&se=2013-12-09T07%3A50%3A42Z&sr=b&sp=r&sig=5YhurLv1erf9lFeCV9bmhNy3H1Axvshv2ReCInK2Qwg%3D NZ_Jail break is a new take on the Nazi Zombie gametype created by THFE. Jail Break features the same ordinance system for survival but in a very different way. Grenades ( Currency and now the only thing you can call in via ordinance. However you can then use the grenades to open paths throughout the map or buy weapons located throughout the map from vending machines. Along with that there are also two working power switches that can be activated to obtain bonuses. One bonus is an over shield while the other is a random weapon spawn (notably the strongest thing in the game.) The real problem i have is that so far i haven't been unable to test it. Because of the new features in this version of NZ_infection there are a whole bunch of numbers that need tweaking before it will run smoothly. Because grenades are used for practically everything now ill need to find out - How much ammo should one grenade get you depending on which gun you buy? (1 clip atm all guns) How many kills until you get ordinance? (atm 4) How many grenades should doors take to unlock? (atm 2) The ideal strength of the zombies? Balance between the number of players and amount of currency going around so there isnt someone who feels like its pointless yet the zombies don't feel over powered. These are my general concerns and i am less focused about the map atm unless the gameplay is completely ruined because of my map. The objective is to get the gametype worked out and have this idea of a second version of NZ_Infection out there so others can start making maps too. I need a group of testers and will be checking my X-box and this thread. I am very busy until after December 14, which is when i finish at University for Christmas and hope to have a testing session soon after. If any body would like to have a go at working everything out and adjusting the gametype it would be awesome. Hopefully ill see you guys soon Peace!!!

  13. Gamertag: REMkings Map: When Running Fails Gametype: On the Move Recommend player count: 12-14 players When Running Fails They left the city with dozens, in the hope of hitting the road to salvation. Only few made it out. A small group of latecomers finally reached the highways, now in such a sad state of affairs that all chances of escaping seemed lost - leave alone any chances of survival. Or is there still hope? Team up with a buddy or two, board one of the remaining Warthogs and outgun the chasing undead. Prepare for a joyride. "When Running Fails" is my attempt at a Drive or Die map, which you'd used to see a lot in previous Halo titels. Drive or Die maps, for those are not familiar with the name, typically consist of a large driveable area, which can vary from a huge desert to a long road, where the sole purpose of the game is to get in a vehicle and keep driving away from the zombies pursuing you. I myself am a huge fan of Warthog usage in Infection maps, so you can imagine I loved playing on these kinds of maps. Unfortunately, much to my regret, I have not seen any good Driving maps in Halo 4 yet due to the difficult-to-work-around-with layout of all 4 of the forge canvases. It was therefore that I decided to give it a try myself. And now you're here to see the outcome. Here are some self explanatory pictures for nom. Important notes There are two things you really have to keep in mind when playing this map if you want to get the greatest of pleasure when playing the map. 1. There is a huge trait zone just above the surface of the ground level. This trait zone only applies for humans and massively takes down their health, while also decreasing the damage they can deal to enemy players. In other words: this effectively dismantles attempts at camping. Because of the fact that all players have trait zones above their heads, zombies will quickly find you and take you down with ease if you're trying to break the game. So yeah, just get in a vehicle instead of walking around. It's more fun for everyone, including you. 2. I have used a modded gametype that allows zombies to sprint. This will come in handy when trying to keep up with the Warthog, so make sure to use this function all the way: you'll even have unlimited sprint. 3. There are some bumps in the road that couldn't possibly be smoothened out. These bumps don't effect Warthogs but they can slow down zombies walking into them. It is possible to keep running around the whole track without running into any of these bumps, though. Make sure to keep an eye on where you're running and you should be fine. Tips Finally, I'll give you some tips to apply on this map if you either want to increase your chances of survival or if you'd like to get some extra Infection on those nasty humans. - Keep driving circles on the outer ring of the map. You'll be able to keep your speed at best, making it harder for zombies to chase you down. Also, generally you'll have great sightlines on the side, so zombies will have a harder time ambushing you. - If you happen to be riding shotgun, it is recommend to grab your sniper rifle and try to go for some no scopes on zombie players passing by. The auto aim makes it rather easy to pick up some kills, and it will also help out your buddy wielding the turret on the back, who in the crucial phase of survival will likely not be able to take on all zombies all by himself. - If you're playing as a zombie; Make sure to keep sight on any humans (accidently) driving or walking around on the ground level. As mentioned before, they are now easy one hit kills and they also deal less damage, providing you a good chance of getting one or more sweet Infections and making the horde grow. - If you're playing as a zombie; Try and flank the Warthogs driving around. This is usually accomplished best by cutting the humans off by estimating where they'll be driving next, and then hitting them from the side by surprise. This will likely slow them down or even turn them over, or in the best scenario even flip them on the side, making for a nice opportunity to leap upon this new gained meat together with your fellow undead. That should be all! I hope you will have give this map and gametype a download and enjoy playing it. Whether you're a great fan of driving the Warthog in Halo or killing off zombies/infection survivors, you're bound to have a great time. - REMkings

  15. Hello, my gamer tag is Wagoner1993 but you can call me Wagoner. I've been forging since Halo 3; however, I never really got into it until Halo Reach and now I consider myself a very talented forger. I'm part if the MK25 forging clan and I have been for about a year now which has improved my skills greatly. If you look in my file share, you will find a mixture of Flood, Mini-Games, and some Slayer. I will be posting some of them in the forums throughout the next couple of days so keep an eye out for them. I look forward to becoming part of this community
  16. Hi everyone, I'm working on a flood map and I need a way for the flood to be forced to spawn at the nearest attacker spawn point to the uninfected players. For example if the humans are in the 5th room of the map then the flood shouldn't spawn in the first unless that his the location of the nearest spawns. Any help on this would be much appreciated as the map really wont work right if I can't do this.
  17. Repression Map: Repression Gametype: Hivemind Gamertag: Auxi Klutch Youtube Channel: Mk25 Forgers Description: This map was made for Free Roam Flood. The map was also contributed by Shadow Kryptiic & DUN3Z. The map is multi-leveled as well as it is completely indoors. The map consists of initial ordnance drops as well as random ordnance drops for consistent gameplay. The map was also submitted for flood matchmaking, and is 1 of the 4 maps that were accepted. I hope that you guys like this flood map. We put many hours with the map design, playtests, and fixes. I also want to thank all the people that helped playtest this map. Also for the ones that didnt make it to matchmaking, they were all good maps.
  18. If you even want to call it "Flood Mode". I mean, they look NOTHING like the flood from the trilogy! Sorry if I sound like a whiny 12-year-old, but come on, Flood Mode sucks! You can't even give them weapons, abilities, loadouts, etc! If there is a way to let 343i know about this (hopefully they already do) then PLEASE let me know. I don't really know how this works. Do I just have to hope for that slim chance they will come across this forum? I tried Xbox.com, but no one was helpful.

  25. I already submitted this map before but it wasnt on my file share but now it is. The map is called isolation and the gametype is called isolation flood. My gt is WoodChuck5562. Since I don't I have pictures I wrote a description. Hope you like it and check it out. Descripton: Its a dynamic map and there are three parts to it. The map was built on Impact. There is also a game mode that goes with it. I recommend playing with at least 5 players, but it works best with 8-12 players. With more than 12 people the survivors have a tough time staying alive. Here is information about each piece of the map: 1st- The survivors start in a circular room with flood spawning in an elevator shaft on the side of the room. There are warthogs and mongooses in this room but they will be useless until later. A small hallway leads off from the room and there is a "launcher" at the end of the hallway. When the portal opens after 2 minutes you will be able to launch yourself to the next section of the map. 2nd- There is a small outpost on a large meteor which you are able to move around with low gravity. Once inside the outpost you will be able to grab some shotgun ammo and have the option to take a teleporter to the next section (you will be able to teleport back to this part of the map). The teleporter opens up after 1 minute (3 if you count the 2 from before). 3rd- You will be teleported to a small room in a medium sized satellite. There are two hallways which lead off in different directions. One is a long hallway and the other takes you to the 3rd story (you start on the 2nd) which has a few rooms. Once on the 3rd story you can get onto the outside of the satellite then get back in the way you came or get in through a window on the 2nd story. The window will drop you off at the end of the hallway which is the other path you could have taken. Then there is a staircase that takes you to the bottom/1st floor. There is another long hallway then a small room at the end which has a random weapon in it. Ive tested this map several times and if you have the right amount of people it can be fun. The survivors need to work together to survive the first 2 minutes before being launched to the next section. It takes a couple of tries before they figure out what to do if they haven't played on the map before then once they figure out how to survive together they should be able to make it to the next section most of the time. Usually about 5 survivors make it to the outpost on the asteroid then only 2 or 3 survive the journey to the satellite. How well they hold out on the satellite varies each game. It is the easiest spot to survive but only a few people make there so there are lots of flood by that time. Hope you like the map. Please check it out on my fileshare, my gt is WoodChuck5562.
