  1. Details of the Price Hike: With Season 5's arrival, the in-game economy of Halo Infinite saw a significant shift. A new pricing model was rolled out, with coatings now being multi-core enabled. This change, aimed at providing more customization options, has come with increased costs, causing a stir within the community. Community Reaction: The reaction was swift and vocal, with players expressing their frustration on social forums and community boards. The price hike has not only affected the affordability of cosmetic items but has also raised questions about the direction of the game's monetization strategy. 343 Industries' Response: In the wake of this backlash, 343 Industries has stepped forward to address the concerns. Acknowledging the players' sentiments, the developers have explained the reasoning behind the new pricing, emphasizing the value they believe these changes bring to the player experience. Impact on Gameplay and Customization: While these adjustments do not directly influence gameplay mechanics, they significantly affect the customization landscape—a feature many Spartans hold dear. The new pricing may alter how players engage with the game's cosmetic content, potentially impacting the overall enjoyment for some. What are your thoughts on these adjustments? How do they influence your experience as a Spartan?

  3. Looking for anyone willing to spare 15 minutes to help me (or you as well) acquire the Party Hearty co-op achievement in Halo 5. It will probably be easiest with only two players. If you're interested, PM me over Live, my gamertag is Relue117. I will also try to keep an eye on my forum inbox. Also, let me know if you are interested in scheduling a meeting at another time, like on a weekend. Thanks!
  4. Just recently got Halo 5 and looking for competitive and fun players to team up with. I'm down to play any game type. Shoot me an invite! GT: McClucker
  5. It’d be great if I would quit getting banned for the being booted out of games. Its not even ranked, but still it’s not like I’m backing out. The game drops me.
  6. Hello this is the leader of the FWS clan speaking and I’m here to tell you all about us, we once upon a time held a prominent position in the halo community as a formidable clan not being outdone by anyone but after a great few years we disbanded now 3 years later we are back and have plans on becoming more powerful than ever and I want YOU to be apart of it. We are a military clan who as well boasts a formidable official competitive team and will soon be doing tryouts for that as well. If your interested in becoming better and joining the reimagining of something great than come contact me or my subordinate thank you for your time and make the right choice. leader gamer tag- Newfie VeNom 2nd in command- impartyunicorn
  7. Hi everyone, Spartan here with Site Poll 95. Last week we talked about your favourite Spartan-IV, and one soldier came out on top by a mile. There were some competent rivals in Poll 94, such as Palmer and Buck, but Thorne was the community's favourite. It was great to see such a large response from users on Twitter, which more than made up for the underwhelming number of answers left on the site here. Click here to view the last poll, 94. The future of the Reclaimer Saga? Originally named "The Reclaimer Trilogy", the Reclaimer Saga is currently at a standstill, to the public eye at least. Halo 4 was beautiful. Five years after we last saw John, was great to have him back. Halo 5 wasn't as well received, by most of us, but it expanded well in the Campaign. We know very little about Infinite, next year will be a lot of information, that's guaranteed. The way things are at the moment though, Halo's future is not clear. It'll certainly clear up when we know more about Infinite, but for now, the Reclaimer saga's up in the air. The name of this week's poll isn't clear, what I'm looking for is your thoughts on this saga. A big questions to be answered: How many episodes will it include? Infinite would have been the last if it was a trilogy, but it's not. The thing is, due to its name, John-117 must be included. I can imagine the four installment being the last, as if Halo 5, Infinite, and the one after that are their own trilogy. It's really hard to speculate, and I personally don't care too much for speculation, I'm more eager for time to pass so we know what's happening. Something that's essential is how long the saga will be, what do you all think about that? Things you could cover are how and when the saga will end. Would it be the final end? Will it be a long, but final saga? Would it ever be able to top the original trilogy? Many things to be said here, go nuts. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, Spartan out.
  8. Hi everyone, Spartan here with site poll #84. Last week we discussed whether Halo Infinite will be open-world or not, and there were some great points made by community members. Click here to view the last poll, #83. Do you want the REQ system to return? Halo 5's REQ system is controversial, that's for sure. Some love it, some hate it. Frank O'Connor said in an interview at the start of this year that the REQ system is "well-liked", which caused quite a stir considering how many people in the Halo community are opposed to it. The REQ system is something very new to Halo, who could have seen it coming? It's not a very unique idea, but it's something I would have never imagined coming to Halo. The main issue people have is that it can benefit users who have more money to spend on the game. Sure, there's no direct impact on your performance in Arena, but there can be in Warzone. I think the "unbalance" argument for the REQ system isn't a good one, because 343 integrated it really well and fairly. My problem is that it's boring, like really boring. Think Halo Reach's credit system, but you don't necessarily get what you want. I personally believe Halo 5's armour "unlocking" is the worst way in any Halo game out there. What if you just want this one set of armour, but the chances of you getting it depend on an RNG, and how many REQ points (or how much cash) you have to burn. What's your stance on the REQ system? Stances, those are something else you can only get randomly by an "RNG pack"... Let me know whether you want the REQ system to return or not, and why. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, Spartan out.
  9. The Halo 4/5 art styles are really just different species (or "ethnicities") of alien races being depicted. This is made clear in the Kilo-five trilogy, the appearance of most Elites, Jackals, and Grunts is canon. Some are clearly not, such as the Arbiter's, and this is due to resource limits. The reason both species aren't shows is because of time constraints, and resources. The ultimate solution is to have all species shown, and this may well be possible for Halo 6. If 343 can show all species, or at least the ones that should be there by canon, Halo 6 will be almost perfect already. Of course there are many things that can be improved/developed, but the appearances in-game and in cutscenes are too important to be sacrificed. Halo's most important aspect, in many people's opinions, is its lore. 343 have done an outstanding job with Halo Wars 2. They show both the original species from "Bungie's" Halos, and the "343" species. This is what all future Halo titles need. It makes sense, and breaks no canon or lore. Why would there only be all of one species in a specific military? There would be a mix, like we see in Halo Wars 2. For the Covenant, the only "mix" we see is with grunts, and that's perfectly fine. It could make sense that all of Let Volir's crew was full of were the Halo CE/2/3/Reach species shown. We can safely assume that there were some Halo 4/5 species during the older games as well, just not depicted. The Arbiter, Thel Vadam, certainly needs his real appearance back in all future titles, but all the rest (not previously confirmed Elites) can be mixed. The Kig-Yar have 3 different species confirmed, with names. The Sangheili don't need different species names, they're not that different and wouldn't distinguish each other in that way. They Unggoy, I can't say, would love to see some more differentiation between the Halo 4/5 ones and those prior though. The reason we may see 343 succeed in this area with Halo 6 is because of the time spent on Halo 6's development; clearly a lot longer. It will most likely drop in 2019 or 2020, and will be a huge success in the eyes of it's followers if 343 mix these styles together. They could be working on it right now as you read this. It will revive the dead horse everyone keeps kicking, and grow it from a colt to a stallion. This will be even better than before, because we see things how they really are, with all species (or the ones which are meant to be there canonically) involved. If 343 don't do this, it would be very disappointing, and more hope would be lost. I'm confident they know what to do now, and have known for the past 2 years. Halo Wars 2 has reassured me, and I hope to see both styles in future titles. Bringing back the old and getting rid of the new is not the way to do it. That will only make it worse, it won't make much sense, and completely get rid of newly introduced species (which have canonically been there from the start). We need both, and I put my faith in 343 to not fail us.
  10. Hello everyone, I am writing this post to highlight significance of the engineers in Halo 6. They should indeed play a vital role, and here's why: After the human-covenant war, humanity began acquiring Huragok, most of which had knowledge from the time of the Forerunners. This explains the major technological advancements seen in Halo 4, compared to the state of UNSC technology in Halo 3. These engineers are stationed upon every UNSC ship by the time of Halo 5, 2558, and they make technological advancements wherever possible. They were allowed to reproduce, each new engineer inheriting the knowledge of its parent(s). These engineers are essentially organic computers; biological AI. They learn, and serve humanity, with no opposition. It's like an AI without rampancy, they have no reason to fear humans, and the UNSC takes good care of them. We give them new tech to work with, and they make it even better. Did I mention they live for technology? So it's really a win-win situation, and here's how they tie in to Halo 6. When Cortana calls for all species to join her revolution, the engineers will certainly not be convinced. They essentially share the same value as us, and will support humanity and its allies against any potential threat. They have nothing to gain from joining Cortana, and will certainly remain with humanity over the Created. Despite the fact Cortana now controls the Prometheans, these engineers are aware of Forerunner knowledge that could give us the upper hand. One engineer can make a major difference, we essentially have a fleet of them. I strongly believe these engineers will play a vital role in countering the Created. Not only are they resistant to Cortana's persuasion, but they are pure intelligence which understand the Domain and how to deal with forerunner tech better than anyone else, and faster. Despite Halsey's exceptional intelligence which was certainly a valuable asset, there's nothing new that she or any other scientist can deal with better than the engineers. They are faster, and more efficient in every way than any other human. We'll need them, and should certainly see them in Halo 6. With them, we won't have to worry about not understanding anything, troops can be sent in with a definite goal assuming the Huragok have analysed everything necessary. I don't believe they'll continue to play a background role, they're now going to be more important than they've been for the past 5 years. What are your thoughts? How do you think the engineers will tie into Halo 6, if at all? - Spartan

  14. Hello. I'm looking to join a Halo clan. -I'm 18, have a mic, and own both Halo: MCC and Halo 5: Guardians -I'm looking for a community-focused group, I don't play competitively and can't usually put up with the ****ty attitudes that some of those kinds of groups have. -I've played Halo since CE and the only three I never played/have yet to play were Halo: Spartan Assault, Halo: Spartan Strike, and Halo Wars 2. -I'm looking for a group that can be flexible with schedules. I'm a college and high school student whose schedule can change randomly at any given time, as I don't want to be reprimanded for something out of my control. -I'm willing to be in a lore group, and I know a fair amount of the lore, but I don't know everything. GT is Armed Solution, Time Zone is PST (UTC -7; Pacific Standard Time) Thanks for your posts!
  15. Before I give the description for the rest of Greywatch there are some restrictions and thoughts to keep in mind. A.) An average K/D or higher is required, there are some exceptions. (Arena or Warzone) B.) We're looking for players in a similar age group as us so that nobody feels uncomfortable or left out. That age range is anywhere from 15-19 with some exceptions. C.) You're going to need a Facebook, if you don't already have one. We like to get to know each other, help each other, text each other at anytime, and ultimately improve our communications and friendship between us and you. When we get online we do group calls and/ or text when we're active to try and play together. We're all nice people, very laid back, with a dark sense of humor. D.) We're going for roughly 20-35 members as we'd like to keep things small, right now there are 12 of us. E.) ACHILLES PROGRESS: We have not yet unlocked any of Achilles, if you join us and help out, you'd be getting the armor yourself and helping us as well. We currently need to prioritize Spartan Kills, we've been kicking *** in Firefight to boost our REQs and REQ points, some of us are still doing this while others jump around; because of this we ask that if you join you help us boost those player kills. F.) Final bit here. At Greywatch we are a family, we love and support each other, we do almost daily group calls, we laugh together, and we take care of each other. We only ask you be understanding of us and we'll be understanding of you. With that please look over the rest of the clan info if you're interested and meet the requirements. Greywatch is a small clan/ company of coordinated Spartans with different skill sets working as a unified, organized, tactical team. Only those capable of fighting against impossible odds or giving teammates the opportunity to do so are qualified to join. 1.) Clan colors are White and Black. (It is required that this be set while partaking in Clan Activities) 2.) Our clan emblem is Team Crimson (rare tier) with a White Primary and Black Background. The Secondary is up to you, but should be unique from other members. 3.) Teamwork is essential in combat. Move as a group or in groups. Watch each others backs, keep each other alive, coordinate strikes, and strive as a team. Each individual has strengths and weaknesses, make sure yours boosts your team or covers another ones weakness. 4.) Each member should have a unique armor set, unless you'd like to duo with a friend, this way each member sticks out better as an individual. (Some groups may share armor sets. Achilles is also an exception as it demonstrates strength and unity as a clan.) 5.) A clan base is being designed; as well as a possible clan ship. Each member will get their own quarters that they can adjust to their liking within each via personalization. Ex; Favorite/ go to weapons, toys, symbols, etc. 6.) Not everything will be clan related, it's good that members interact with each other and build friendships to boost combat efficiency and teamwork. (It's suggested this be done over various games such as other Halo titles, Star Wars Battlefront/ Battlefield, Minecraft, GTA, Rainbow Six, etc. To help with team building.) 7.) Members will be categorized into groups of Soldiers, Pilots, Marksmen, Bounty Hunters, Forgers, Drivers, War Masters, etc. (Groups will change and be adjusted over time and an individual may be part of several groups or commonly linked groups.) On Facebook you can find me if you search Clark Sampels, my profile picture is my girlfriend and I in skeletal makeup from Halloween; it also has a blue filter over it. If we accept you, you will be added to the official group chat with the full members and be given a spot in the Spartan Company. Thank you for all the reading. -SkeleClark [Other members to contact are:] -The Hibble -TwistedKarma605 -ARC Nano (By Gamertag)

  18. Gamertag: ARC GuiltySpark Player Count: 2-9 (1 slender, 8 players) Download Link: Click! Map Trailer: Click! THIS IS NOT AN INFECTION MAP, THIS IS A WORKING SLENDERMAN GAME Slender: Oakside Park is a custom game I have been working on for a long time but is finally finished. It is based on the game Slender: The Arrival and is a really fun game for as little as 2 players to 9 players. Please give this map a download, I would really appreciate it! RULES Everyone must go to Red team and 1 person on blue team to control Slenderman OBJECTIVE Red Team must work together to find 8 pages hidden throughout the map. They are switches that need to be activated in order for them to win. Once all are activated, an alarm will sound and everyone must run to the beach to go to the escape van through the gate and win Blue Team (Slenderman) wins by either keeping Red team from finding all 8 pages before the time limit expires or kill them all. He is controlled from a panel up in the sky similar to “reaper”. There is a light marker in the sky that tells the controller where Slenderman is on the ground. The map is very dark making it hard for players to find there way around. Slenderman makes a buzzing sound if you are near him. His face is glowing from the front so you can still see him in the black of night. Make sure to check out my gamenight video and map trailer on my Youtube channel. Huge thanks to CREATIVE FORCE for helping me with this great custom.

  21. "Many dangers lie within these toxic sewers like poisonous gases, corrosive acid, and radiation. Sounds like a great place to play grifball!" A Standard-Size Grifball Map by: ARC GuiltySpark Gamertag: ARC GuiltySpark Player Count: 8 Download Link: Click! Layout Design The layout of this grifball map has everything standard size to matchmaking maps for the best play experience. The size of the court is 260W x 310L (not including the initial spawn area and the side pipes). At the beginning players run in from a pipe tunnel outside the map which is unplayable after the intro. There are also stacks of two pipes on each side of the map that players can jump on and run along. Aesthetic Design The theme for this map was an industrial underground sewers that holds acid or toxic waste. The map uses a 3 tier platform style which is a hard platform, pipes in between each platform, and cables in between each pipe. There is one big pipe running down the middle of the court with acid underneath. There are two big platforms beside the pipe and another set of platforms with more acid and pipes underneath. Two tunnels are at each end of the map where players initially spawn and run in from. In the middle of the map there is another big tunnel that leads up to the surface with light shining through it and on to the court. another series of pipes run along the ceiling. The rest of the map is made of a decaying yellow brick. On one side there is a whole in the wall with acid dripping down the side. The map has lots of cool sounds and lighting effects to immerse you in the environment. There are also special details added around the map like warning decals on the floor and walls as well as barrels and dead bodies floating in the acid beneath.

You and your fellow companions hear something strange coming from the Food Hall based at the top of Camp, you find something to protect yourself with as it becomes clear that something isn't quite right... And Queue the Epic Music and Montage Effects... Pictures of the Map: Most of the shots are cinematic and the map kind of explains it self, there is however a few things that I couldn't take a photo of and even somethings that you might of missed in the images, these include... 1. There are 3 Zip-lines, these can be seen in a few images as cables. 2. Each cabin contains unique weapons and is surrounded with at least 1 Assault Rifle. 3. There are waypoints that spawn above the Survivors heads every 20 seconds that show their current location. 4. Most people don't realise but the Tree House ladder is broken, so you'll need to use the rock placed nearby. And that's the whole kit and caboodle, I hope that you enjoy playing the gamemode as much as I did making it. <3 FatAussieFatBoy
