Pitting of tamed, wild, or domesticated creatures as well as unfortunate humans (like Preston Garvey) in a gladiatorial extravaganza for the amusement of yourself, and your bloodthirsty settlers. OR unleashing of said creatures / hostile humans upon your unsuspecting posse for maximum carnage. Planting of... plants onto excavated ground on aggravating dirt-less structures: like concrete, house floors, or in the enclosure you keep your enslaved humans in. Utilization of groundbreaking technology like Radiation Scrubbers, Fusion Core Generators, or artsy Neon Letters for spelling "STAY THE FRICK OUT OF MY ROOM, PRESTON!". Giant elaborate deathtraps of all shapes & sizes (floor spikes, rotating wall blades, humongous rat traps, etc) used for big or small game: like Preston Garvey. Forgery of legitimate concrete or metal structures that lack the myriad of holes, and overall lack of quality by amateurish contractors. Looking at you, Marcy. Release a grunt when an active ceiling fan slams against your cranium.   10. I know, I know, we might sound like one of those small tiny clans filled with little kids screaming and yelling. We aren't. Don't judge a book by it's cover, silly, Chaos Gaming is one of the biggest and most respected gaming communities on Xbox. We span across CoD and Halo Reach and will expand into H4 when it comes out. We contain over 1700 members registered on out website, with well over hundreds more unregistered on the website. Our Halo Reach division contains 7 Branches; Backlash, Dynasty, Impact, Intensity, Shockwave, Revolver and Supremacy, and our CoD side has well over 15 branches. But I'm here to recruit for Halo, not CoD, so let's go ahead and talk about us. Chaos Gaming has been around for about 3 years and is built around one rule: Treat others the way you wanna be treated. We value respect and integrity above all else and just want to make others have fun, make friends and enjoy themselves. We hold tourneys that yield prizes that range from Microsoft Points to Xboxs, but our main attraction is our Game Nights: One hour, give or take, dedicated to just playing games and having fun.   13. Microsoft will offering unlimited cloud storage for the Xbox one a MaximunPC article states.The news came out of PAX Australia, here is what a Microsoft rep said about it. "Xbox Live offers Xbox One unlimited storage space in the cloud for all Xbox Live members to store numerous types of Xbox Live content, including your profile, games, Achievements and entertainment. This content is stored and saved in the cloud so you can automatically access it anywhere, anytime, no matter where you are." With the change of policies such as removing the used games restrictions the Xbox one has slowly but surely been getting back on track and with another positive announcement it will certainly help improve it's reputation a bit more.

My ideal clan is one that actually has skilled players. If you remember in the Halo 2 online days, Clan Matches were the best part of the game. People have been waiting since the first release to get it on Next-Gen (when they were known to public) and PC, which will bring in hopefully more profit. People have been discussing if Rockstar will be worth it in the long run, but that doesn't matter. All I want you all to do, is discuss what do you want with the upcoming release with PC, what would you like to see with all this next-gen power? I'm gonna throw this thread out there as a bit of a teaser as well as an invitation to anyone out there that still loves to play there daily Halo, but doesn't have many people left on their friend's list that plays Halo. I'm making a gaming community called "Project Ascension" with a strong emphasis on Halo. The community will deal work with our members to grow and expand for every type of gamer, from the casual Halo player, to the elite players. We are set up to have a war-simulation event (And no, not a LARP) in which all our participating members form into teams and work to gain domination of a risk type board, with each territory being represented by an actual in-game map. Alongside this, you can expect us to have a handful of gamenights each week ranging from any of the Halos, to other amazing multiplayer games. On top of the Campaign war simulations, and gamenights, we will also hold Tournaments, and days were we get together to simply work on achievements to help our members get that next step closer to 100% their games. Now that I'm done with the very rough explanation of what Project Ascension is, let me try provide some quick guidelines to the community: 1.) We don't have an age range, We have met plenty of 14 year olds that have it much more together than some guys and gals in college. We do however work to limit drama on the community to as small as we can. 2.) No, we do not require any changes to your gamertags, profiles, statuses, or anything like that. It's dumb, and a waste of your time to do it, and a waste of my time to even think of asking you to do it. 3.) We are an open community, if you are part of another community, we don't mind. We are just restarting and we understand that other larger communities have a lot to offer as well. We do appreciate monogamous members, but it's not like we are gonna chain you to the community. 4.) No, we don't demand that you attend every thing we do. We do appreciate members conveying that they wanna join an event, but unless you convey you want to join in, you don't need to feel pressure to join. Project Ascension already has pretty much everything we need to start up on a moment's notice, but due to our admins either being in college final's month, busy with a wedding around the corner, as well as other things in life demanding our attention, we won't be officially starting up for about a month and a half, late May to early June to help remove the chronological math from that. With all of that said, myself, and the other admins do find ourselves enough spare time to jump on our xbox often enough to forge some fun maps, do matchmaking, and keep up with anyone that wants to join with us for some fun times. Oskari Hakkinen, head of franchise development at Remedy, said in an interview published earlier today that the next generation of consoles represent "a quantum leap" from systems available today. While the platform holders have yet to announce the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4, or whatever they will eventually be named, the likelihood is that at least one new console will arrive in 2013. Here, we analyse five key features that will shape and define the next generation. 1. 4K resolution displays Stunning visuals are always a crowd pleaser, and graphical improvements tend to be the first thing the average consumer recognises when comparing two hardware generations side by side. Most recently Yahoo reported that PS4 will support ultra HD '4K Resolution' displays. 4K resolution is the term used in digital cinematography to broadly describe a resolution (pixel count) of around 4000 pixels horizontally on a display. This is similar to 'Ultra HD', or 'Quad Full High Definition' (QFHD), which at 3840x2160, is exactly double today's full HD resolution of 1920x1080. With 3D failing to take off as the next big thing, Sony and the rest of the big players in the TV industry are looking for a new way to get consumers to upgrade their sets. Given that Sony's already selling 4K Blu-ray players, similar support for games and movies on PS4 seems highly likely. 2. Platform Ubiquity Next gen consoles will allow players to engage with content in new, increasingly imaginative and convenient ways. PS3 Remote Play using PSP was an early step in this direction, but things will only accelerate in this direction with Wii U, PS4 and Xbox 720. Users will be able to begin playing games and watching movies at home on one device before leaving the house and resuming them on another, or vice versa. Secondary devices will make experiences more immersive by delivering companion content using tech like SmartGlass, and serve as remote controls for your home console, whether it's the Wii U GamePad, your Vita or your mobile phone in the case of SmartGlass. A new PC-based development environment for PS4 should also enable more companies to take advantage of initiatives like PS3-Vita Cross Buy, which let you buy a piece of software on console and get a free digital version for handhelds. 3. Enhanced communication Online gaming is a great way to keep up with friends without having to ever leave the comfort of your own sofa, Kinect Video is an interesting feature, and the integration of social media platforms on consoles is nothing new, but next gen consoles should make great advances in the communications space. Earlier this month a Microsoft job ad revealed that the "next gen Xbox" will support Skype. The potential to make or receive free phone calls on your console is an appealing one, particularly if it means you can simultaneously play games, eradicating the need to juggle your mobile phone or telephone receiver with your controller. The Wii U will also go in this direction, allowing customers to make video conference calls with their devices. 4. Digital dominance The brick-and-mortar games retail business will not survive another ten years, the executive vice president of EA Games recently told CVG. While the next generation of consoles are highly likely to support physical media formats, that doesn't mean the digital revolution isn't already in full flow, and day-and-date digital game releases are likely to become as mandatory as DLC in the next few years. That said, sales figures for downloadable triple A games on console won't match sales of physical products until digital prices are more reasonable. We can't think of any reason why New Super Mario Bros. 2 costs £10 more to buy from the eShop than it does from GAME for £29.99 (games on PSN and Xbox Live's Games of Demand are also regularly overpriced). Sony also has the possibility of opening up a games streaming service with its newly acquired Gaikai tech. 5. Subscription options Microsoft has been trialling a console subscription model in the States, where customers pay $99 upfront for a new Xbox 360 bundled with Kinect and a two year Xbox Live Gold account, and are subsequently charged $14.99 for the following 24 months. We've heard from a well placed Sony executive that the company thought about introducing such a model for the PS3's launch, and think it would make sense for the platform holders to roll it out from the offset of the next generation. The model locks buyers into the concept of upgrading at the end of their contract, when they can pick up the latest iteration of the current hardware offering. It has worked for Apple with iPhone and iPad, so there certainly is potential for consoles to do the same. The subscription model also allows the platform holders to sell their high-power machines at a low deposit RRP, meaning that the huge investment required to make these machines won't be reflected in such exorbitant product costs.   23. Ive been gaming since the release of the original xbox. Ive been playing the halo franchise ever since it came out. Lets see, in 2001 I was 6 or 7. That's how long I've been playing halo. And just xbox in general. I played halo 2 casually. Then when halo 3 came out, I stepped it up. I acquired 50s in multiple playlists. TS, TD, Snipers, SWAT, Big Team, and Squad Battle. Now that halo 3 is no longer available online, I've moved to halo4. I actually quit gaming for a year because halo 3s servers shut down. I was depressed. Yes. Depressed. Because the servers shut down. Now im back. I want to get into halo 4 and see what I can make of myself. I've played a little casually. But I want to become one of the best like I was in Halo 3. If anyone has a casual team that I can start out playing with in Halo 4, please shoot me a friend request. I just wanna get my skill up for now. Once I feel like I can keep up with the big dogs, I will either make a competitive team, or join one. Starting at Three O'Clock PM CST, Our lovely Staff starters RedStarRocket91, Church, and Brony went into battle with us members! <--- (Your favorite team) Featuring The Dumb Marine, F1ZM, JXZAW, TGS Shadowless, Trae Housten, Spyro, and Bnus to start out! We played slayer, 343iSWAT, SWAT, Boogeyman, and a few variants of Regicide. (Not RegiSWAT..), We also got to go back in time and play classic infection on Halo: Reach map remakes! Featuring Asylum, Countdown, Uncaged, and Blood Gulch! Some other lovely people who made it late but stylish surely were BeckoningZebra1, Drizzy_Dan, Absolute Dog, GermanShepardD, and HC Halo 3 Recon!! With our loveable Dog GSD still holding his expertise in SWAT and with sniper rifles, He was the best man on the other team. (Don't worry ADog, You were very well of a fighter too! As well as RSR91. And Brony (If I had a headset and a capture card this would be very much interesting...) One of the best moments may have been RSR running from the Boogeyman, A very entertaining act you had there buddy, It was just as funny as Cops n' Robbers, With mongooses flipping around a blocky city that had really even roads. <--- Not really even, Very bumpy... Now, While everyone probably had this one moment You have to agree that despite the fighting and any possible crouching it was very fun! Even if some of us were very hyper! Heres a question for you guys, What was your favorite part of the playdate? (Sorry if it seemed dull, I'm not very good with recaps.. Or memory!)
