We played it on 6 players with two Xbox`s linked and had a lot of fun test it together. It’s a openworld map with lots of Gameplay possibilities. Sniper from the roof of the buildings or balconies, jump between buildings (and try to reach the 2 Banshee platforms) or simply ride vehicles on the ground. There are also some nice Aesthetic places and hidden Weapon drop locations. Find all entrances to reach all the Buildings roof (except 1 only accessible with the Banshee or Jetpack). Reach 150 Kill points and acquire Personal load outs that includes infinite use of your equipment such as: A Promethean / Hardlight Shield / Hologram or a Autosentry or a Jetpack witch allows you to flight over the entire Map and be f.e. with the Sniper Rifle or Rocket Launcher a annoyance for your enemy. Name of Map: Revenge Canyon note: Revenge Caynon is an updated version of another map of mine called "Death Canyon", i decided to just make the update as a new map because i figured some people might prefer one over the other, the update was that more cover was added in the valley of the canyon towards red and blue base, and certain objects have been moved, or chanched such as the warthog changing from a rocket to default warthog, and the shade turrets were removed from the yellow and green bases. In between the two clifts is a large land mass which is connected to the to clifts or yellow and green base, by a brige. long ranged guns are encuraged in this map, but close-mid range are also usefull on the clifts, near the yellow and green base, and when no-one is ontop the clifts, then in the valley to. There is a gravity lift on the left of both the red and blue bases, you can use these to get up the clift. There is also a teleporter inside the tunnle that leads through the middle land mass that will bring you ontop of the land mass. you can jump down the clift, but some health will be reduced. you can advoid this by jumping onto the large cargo boxes or rocks near the red and blue base, or you can jet pack down, or use thruster pack while falling, or simply go back through the teleporter on top of the middle land mass.

CHaTEAU-FORT v2Original CTF map by Kurosaki Tensai This UNSC training grounds is a recreationg of classic wargames that were held on Harvest, at Corbulo Academy and even at CASTLE Base on planet Reach, where the first Spartan II's got their training. It's recreation on Requiem is meant to provide new Spartan IV recruits with the best possible training. It's name is french for Stronghold, a fitting name for this fortress above the ocean. Download link: http://www.halowaypo...19-f7eaf335c1fa LAYOUT This screenshot details the various weapons and vehicles that can be found on the map: Take note that on the end of each of purple and orange rocks, you can drop into a bush, which also features a shield that will take you back to top if you so wish. You only need to jump up. I figured this is helpful for flag runs and to limit abuse of this power position. MAP DESIGN This map started out twice as big, featuring man cannons and a neutral Wraith, but it didn't feel right, and it lacked cover. I quickly decided to make a second, smaller version focusing on infantry and power positions instead. My main goal while making this map was to imagine what a UNSC CTF training grounds would look like. So I came up with a mix of buildings and natural terrain that would feature short and long sight lines, ramps, jumps and vehicles. My main concern was to provide easy access to all areas either with jumps or ramps, thus improving the flow and allowing for enjoyable flag runs and flag defense. GAMEPLAY (CTF) The teams start on opposing sides, and usually try to rush the neutral rockets top mid. The early stages of each match are centered around gaining control of the top level of the map, then it transitions into vehicle control of the mid, yellow and green routes, thus chanllenging players to be smart about the route they choose to use to get to the opposing team's flag base. I made two custom gametypes for this map, both featuring three classes that most players like to use: DMR/Mag, AR/ Mag and BR/Mag. All three use Resupply, Dexterity, frag grenades and no armor ability. The gametypes I made for this map can be found here on my fileshare: CTF CSTM http://www.halowaypo...67-d594cdb18b22 SLAYER CSTM http://www.halowaypo...0a-9360f7f23fe2 I tested the map with various MLG gametypes but they were too limiting, so I figured I'd make my own small changes. These are meant to provide player favorites and insuring skill is rewarded more than luck: No POD, friendly fire ON. Vehicles are allowed . Initial weapons drop: Sniper rifle: 2X (120s) Rockets: 2X (150s) Plasma pistol: 2X (20s) SAW: 2X (150s i believe) Boltshots: 2X (120s) Battle Rifles: 2X on each base. (30s) Frag 'nades: 2X at yellow, green window. (Not seen on these older screenshots). (30s) Initial vehicles: Mongoose: 4X (30s) Warthog: 2X (120s) Ghost: 2X (150s) SCREENSHOTS Detailed views of the Red side of the map (Anti symetrical with the blue side): The Sniper alley is large enough for vehicles to drive through (Although it is hella risky). It still supports 16 players for BTB Slayer, but I recommand not going over 12 fot CTF. -Changed jump-ups to ramp in each of the team's base to allow easier navigation. Players responded positively -Increased the respawn timer of Warthog and Ghost. There were too much vehicles present at one time, I hope 2 minutes will help. Will need more feedback to finetune. -Made the middle part of the map even. It was not centered, thus leaving blue team more exposed than red team. Simple fix. In the same idea of evening thigs out, I made the yellow and green flat rocks smoother for the ghost and wharthog. They used to feature a ramp-like jump. Now smoother. -Added Weak kill zones on all 4 walls to prevent abuse. -Added 2 BRs in each base so players don't run out of ammo. -Changed Green and Yellow ledge layouts, added windows on ground level, added frags in this area. -Will add bushes in front of red and blue bases for aesthetics and gameplay improvements. -Have to watch budget, it's pretty tight. (Still, no framerate issues at all, even in big parties).

This was a Mini-Game that I loved to play in Halo 3 and have wanted to recreate since Reach but never had the right space to do so. We've pretty much done everything as it was in 3 but changed some things up to better suit the Map and Halo 4. Now, onto the way it works. There is 1 Flood (Tank) The rest Humans (Mongoose) Simply the way it works is the Mongeese must run from the scorpion and try to stay alive for the remaining time. Each player has 1 life, when you die your dead. There are multiple rounds in a game, with hazards and jumps to go along with all this. That's about it for the way it works, quite a simple map. The new natural pieces make the map look more beautiful than the Ravine or the Impact pallet(there's trees in the background!) Because the map is made to replicate the original Sanctuary, I believe no-sprint gametypes would be best for it. It can also support v3 CTF and Slayer very well though. Note that this map is NOT for standard Infinity Slayer, so the kill boundaries are not edited for jetpackers. Now I know that THFE is all for new, original maps, but I believe we should give this remake a shot. Also,there's a classic version coming up, which will have the original weapons and spawns from Halo 2. I will update this thread as soon as it's done. Pictures!

It's become common knowledge at this point in the day that Forge Island is available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. 343i did say at their panel in PAX East that Forge Island was ahead of schedule and could be releasing early but no one predicted it would be this early. If you have played this in BF3 it should! Two teams of 4 are located on the opposite sides of the large island (on Forge Island), and they have 4 Scorpions each. The players spawn with a Rocket Launcher in a safe "garage" where their Scorpions are located. Each player has 2 choices: Either hop in the tank and go head on with the enemy or try to sneak around supporting their team on foot. There are 3 heavy weapons to help the players on foot, 2 Sticky Detonators and 1 Spartan Laser. The map is in a forest, and the scenery is compiled by trees, rocks, buildings etc. (No images) I'd like some feedback

  11. i have some data on the size of forge island. i have tested using a ghost as seen here going directly up the ghost exploded at z: 395.8 which means z: 395.7 is the max safe point going southward the ghost exploded at y: -494.5 which means y: -494.4 is the max safe point going northward the ghost exploded at y: 487.5 which means y: 487.4 is the max safe point going westward the ghost exploded at x: 771.0 which means x: 770.9 is the max safe point going eastward the ghost exploded at x: -227.8 which means x: -227,7 is the max safe point going downward, into the water the ghost exploded at z: -70.2 which means -70.1 is the max safe point to help you understand which directions are which, here are some pictures West East North South Up *directions were taken on the largest island* Summary of the Max Safe Point Coordinates X1: 770.9 X2: -227.7 Y1: 487.4 Y2: -494.4 Z1: 395.7 Z2: -70.2 max safe point is defined as: the area that a player can be in before Return To Battlefield is shown happy forging!
