  2. Map Name: Furnace GT: n0mnom321 Link to file: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/fileshare/details/3f142ba3-eb65-41c6-9e57-8f38c0d9d072 Supports: Extraction, KotH, Oddball, Slayer, CTF Best played with: 1v1 or 2v2 Slayer Hey everyone! this is my newest map, furnace. Furnace is a small map for 2-4 players and is based around the theme of a smelting factory. The map is set on the erosion canvas and is inspired off of adrift. The aesthetic details feature aesthetic furnaces, lava pits (or molten metal pits) and many pipes that really makes it feel like a place, not just a map. The outer paths of the map are connected in a sort of C-shaped design, that I intended to give a circular flow to the map (although it has only been tested once, so I am not certain that it works lol) and a central area where there is a main power position and a power weapon (sticky detonator); unlike my previous maps, I had a general Idea of what the map was going to be like before making it so I don't think that there is any lazy cover. The map is still in very early stages of testing, and I have yet to remove some pieces I think make the bottom of the map and the blue base cluttered, but other than that, I would appreciate any and all feedback and hope that you like the map. Cheers and a belated happy new year! Weapons: Sticky Detonator(drop) Designated Marksman Rifle Battle Rifle Magnum Assault rifle Auto-sentry(drop) Fragmentation Grenades PIctures: The corner 2/2 in the picture above is where the sticky detonator spawns. The Y, cross at the back of the picture leads into the tunnel connecting red/blue. And the overview picture: CLARIFICATION: the battle rifle is on the stairs of the 2 storey tower, and the DMR is next to the lava pit near the jump down, at the bottom of the map. the magnum is right next to the red spawn (I think it is ok because it's just a magnum, but Please tell me if I'm wrong). The assault rifle is at the top tunnel that is connecting red and blue base. the sticky detonator is at the top of the tower, a very exposed position. Not all of the pictures are up on my 'recent screenshots'? I will post more pictures once they are on the 'recent screenshots' list on halo waypoint.
  3. How this track came about? In my life there are very few things that I love doing. I mean I like going to the cinema, but I don’t love it. I like to watch football on a Saturday afternoon, but it’s not something I love doing. However if there’s one thing I do love doing, it’s driving a mongoose or warthog across terrain. That’s where this map came from. I decided to make this map on Erosion as I’ve already explored Ravines terrain, and Forge Island and Impact don’t really have much to offer in that particular area. Another decision I made pretty quickly was to use construction aesthetics as a theme for the map. With Erosion being rather dusty and baron, I thought it would make a great construction site. With all decisions made I went ahead and forged the map. It took me about 2-3 hours to forge the track, and then a further 3 hours to do all of the aesthetics. During the making of the map, largely because of the bumpiness of the terrain, I made the decision to use warthogs and not mongooses as the main vehicle. You can still choose to use mongooses (or ghosts) if you want, Warthogs are just the recommended vehicle. What was the hardest part? Deciding on the final layout of the track. Took me about an hour of randomly driving around in different vehicles to come to a final decision. Fastest lap time: 47 seconds Number of checkpoints (per lap): 15 Difficulty: Easy Vehicle: Warthog (recommended), Mongoose or Ghost. Easter egg: One of the construction workers seems to have lost his football (soccer ball). Can you find it for him? Note: THIS MAP WILL ONLY WORK WITH ‘CONSTRUCTION RACE’ GAMETYPE. 9. After an earthquake, an old facility that studied the water of an underground lake was destroyed, and was made home for the flood. As scientists go in to explore it, they discover what happened to the isolated facility. Best played with 8-14 players but can hold up to 16. Use with my Hell on Earth gametype, or any other flood game mode. Map made by Shadow KryPTiiC Sorry for no pictures, i don't know or have any way of attaching pictures to this. If you can help message me on xbox live or reply down below.
  10. Sup peeps, just registered here to submit my map. My gamertag is Endymion72 and this map is in my Fileshare titled "UNSC Ironclad Brewery". Sorry for the poor quality images; download it from my fileshare to see the whole thing. Description: A mid-size close quarters map with great verticality, high suspension, and dynamic cornering. There are multiple tiers with a number of highly accessible bridges, ramps, intersections, and man cannons to get around the map. I only say it's mid-size because it takes up a lot of space, but ultimately close-quarters weapons lend themselves best the map. I would say it would be a great map for SWAT or SWAT Magnums as well. It is currently only set up for up to 16 player Team Slayer variants (no neutral spawns yet), but I will work on adding KOTH, Oddball, Flood, and Regicide variants. I would say it's tight enough for the Shields Up! minigame as well. Promethean vision, the Boltshot, and melee weapons will do you well here. There are many toys to be found around the map as well. I called it the brewery because I was going to use a bunch of those Erosion pipes to create a feeling of some kind of liquid refinery, but I got pretty tight on the budget and also forgot that Erosion doesn't have silos. Still a chill place for Spartans to play some War Games and go relax though. There is a small UNSC campground at the base of the map complete with fishing and a gaming hut (only accessibly in forge mode or via a well-aimed suicide). The glow caused by the green mucky-muck lake on Erosion really lights up the map well. Enjoy! A video review would be awesome... Looking for people to playtest it, message me if you're interested. Gone Fishin' War games.
  11. I'm currently working on a Forge Map down in the slime biome of Erosion and I'm looking for some suggestions and feedback. I currently have one base set up right now directly above the slime but I want to incorporate the slime as an important feature of the map; to have a toxic, noxious feeling to the map, if that can be understood. Then I want to know how I can publish my map to THFE possibly. My Gamertag is Dragonzzilla and I can only play for extended periods of time. Care to help a brother out?
  12. From what I've played on, here's mah top 5. I'm sure there's some better tracks out there that I left out.
