Hello. I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I have tried multiple methods of solution to no avail. I purchased the Halo 4 Limited Edition that included the War Games Map Pass, but, like many others, have come back to play Halo 4 after a few months only to find that I am unable to get the latest two maps because it is not recognizing that I have the Map Pass. "Go to your Download History and re-download it." -- I've looked in my Download History. It shows all of the separate pieces that were included in the War Games Map Pass, but not the War Games Map Pass itself. At least, not under that name (is it under a different file name?). "Make sure to do a License Transfer." -- I've had the same Xbox 360 since I downloaded the War Games Map Pass, but I did this anyways. My Licenses are all up to date on this system. '"Are you using the same Gamertag?" -- It is the same account, but I have changed my Gamertag since I purchased Halo 4. Please, help. I'm so frustrated and sad, but mostly just sad.

One of the largest topics that seems to be spamming up these fora is people complaining about not being able to play the DLC maps. And yet, we now have a DLC playlist for just 2 weeks and it has a population lower than all but throwdown. If people want a DLC playlist so badly, why aren't the numbers showing it?

Hello everyone! I'm The Dumb Marine as always, And I'm here to deliver some news! Okay, So earlier on Halo 4, I was talking to a friend of mine who brought up a smal glitch with Halo 4. Which reveals unseen weapon skins, One for the Battle Rifle, The other for our beloved DMR. Now, The Battle Rifle skin is called BLAST or BLS while the DMR skin is called Concrete or CTE. I have in-game pictures to show you as well! (This glitch is not illegal in any way, But I shall not exploit how to do this glitch at this given time.) Battle Rifle BLAST (BLS) DMR Concrete (CTE) So those are the skins, And now what they would look like in the menu. (The pictures below are a mod made by ddeZ droL. Mods should not be used as they are against the Xbox LIVE Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct, Doing so can get you temporarily or permantly suspended from the service) What could this mean? Now that the Xbox One has released, I'd like to get your thoughts on what has been your best ever DLC on the Xbox 360, this could be anything, best ever maps, best ever add-on campaign DLC, so come on forum, whats been the best DLC you've downloaded and why? heres a few of mine and why 1) Gears of War 3 - RAAM's Shadow, not only did it tell a bit of back story, but it also let you play as the great General RAAM himself, I always love campaign DLC, especially when it fills in the gaps 2) Red Dead Redemeption - Undead Nightmares - its not often a DLC is sold as a standalone game, this is what Rockstar did when they released Undead Nightmare, it took the game of RDR and turned it on its head to bring a game which is a LOT of fun. 3) Halo Reach Noble Map Pack - for me the best of the map packs for Reach, not only were the maps aesthetically pleasing, they also played well, Breakpoint still being my favourite map to play on.... 4) Batman Arkham City - Harleys Revenge - Batman DLC has historically been challenge map after challenge map, which lets face it blows, Harleys Revenge, took the campaign and expanded on it, harder gameplay, played as Robin, and filled in a few more gaps, plus some interesting achievements to boot. 5) Halo 4 - Champions Bundle - buying the whole lot for 800MSP, was definetly value for money, maps, armor, stances, emblems, and a new gametype, who doesnt love Ricochet??? I'll add more at a later date after giving it some more thought so whats yours?

I can't be the only person to have noticed this, but we're stuck with the same few maps on rotation time after time in matchmaking. I paid good money to get the DLC and there are some good maps amongst these. Even outside of the DLC, there's a good variety of maps that we just don't see in matchmaking. Is there any way in which this can be remadied? It'd be nice to have the option to play more than the 4 or so maps over and over again. Thanks.

Hello all out there. I have some problems with Halo 4 Castle DLC, and the achievement Ashes to ashes. When i search for a game in any playist, i can't find any of the Castle maps. I've tried to play with friends and found Daybreak or Perdition, we tryed everything to get Ashes to ashes, but nothing unlocks it. Got at least 50 kills in total yesterday with Binary Rifle, Incineration Cannon, Pulse Grenade and Scattershot, on Castle maps - Still not unlocking. then i tried go to Team Slayer to find it my self, but still no luck, cannot find any Castle maps in there. only the Common, free maps are showing. Things i've tried: Unstall game - install again Delete everything and transfer to other harddrive - try from beginning to install everything. Recover profile. Uninstall everything except Castle DLC, and updates + Wargames unlock. Play every playlist at least 10 rounds trying to find a Castle Map. No luck. Tryed connect 4 controllers to reduce player count so at least 4 players have Castle. Boosting. (still glitchy) Please tell me if there are anything i can do. Or will there come an update to solve those glitching Achievements. This annoys me alot when it is the only Achievement i miss. Sorry for bad english or misspelling.

I just came back to Halo 4 after a while off. I've got a little time to kill, and picked up the Champions Bundle because I was all like "Right on, new maps y'all"! So I told my brotha Alexander Hamilton to make it happen because I know how he likes headshots, and Pitfall looked like some sweet nostalgic multiplayer goodness. Hamilton digs Halo 4, and he has hooked me up with some awesome DLC maps in the past... his favorite is Shatter cause it "gives him the space he needs to hunt that little punk Aaron Burr down" (his words not mine). The only problem is that in the 75 matches or so I have played since getting back on I have never seen Pitfall or Vertigo in match making as even an option to vote for. Understandably I was a little upset... some things were said aloud, and then I put Halo 4 down to go to bboy practice. When I got home Hamilton texted me from 343 Industries' bank account and was all. "Where you at man, these new map are the shizzle my nizzle, why aren't you online helping me mop up these fools?" ARGH!!! Your right Alexander Hamilton... those online fools need to be mopped! They need it! So I got online again to help my main man Hamilton under the condition that even though I know how he likes to hang out with Snoop Dog on the regular he needs to talk on the headset like a normal adult. "Hey Alex you were the first Secretary of Treasury for god's sake... pull it together son, and lets go do this." So Hamilton and I jumped back online to mop up some fools as we all know he likes to do. We cleaned up SWAT style on Haven, Adrift, Abandon, Solace, and Complex. Had some crazy fun on Exile and Ragnarok. And that when I noticed it. Not only had I not seen Pitfall or Vertigo up for match making I had not seen a single map from any of the DLC that I purchased come up even once for a vote on any multiplayer game type. At all. A ton of the maps that Alexander Hamilton and I were so ready play were the ones we were completely locked out of! That's when he called me... Me: "Yo, Hamilton whats up brotha?" AH: "It's cold and dark in this bank account. I can't get out to romp freely on the digital fields of battle... It's lands are locked to me." Me: "I know... Me too. It is a sad day. Buying Halo 4 DLC feels like a giant rip off right now." AH: "It's no fun here, and I want to make my journey home." Oh My god! I don't have time to write any more of a crazy stupid post so lets just get down to it. Set up Lobbies that allow me play on the DLC maps that I paid for or be good enough to return my Hamiltons to me!

So I've been going through Halo 4 on Legendary after taking some time off from it. I got through levels 1 and 2 without any issues. But then came time to play level 3: "Forerunner". After several failed attempts to load the level, a little message appears at the bottom of the screen saying I may be missing some downloadable content. Every other level loads just fine. Only Forerunner gives me problems. I downloaded the Spartan Ops Episodes 6-10 free DLC to see if that would work. No such luck. I tried re-installing disc 2. Nothing. Do I have to pay for DLC in order to carry on with the campaign? I was playing in co-op and when we reached the end of level 2 the game sent us back to the lobby, so I don't think restarting the campaign will fix the issue. My last resort would be to delete all of my saved data from my Xbox and start completely from scratch, but if anybody has any other suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

In champions DLC matchmaking it finds players, and I can choose maps but then when the game should load, it just says 0% and I get kicked out and have to start all over with a new search. I have bought the champion pack. I have everything else skins, stance and resistor but not the maps Vertigo and Pitfall?? I was so angry that it did not work so I bought the bullsey pack also to be on the safe side!! I have tried everything, downloaded everything several times. have also downloaded my profile several times and reinstalled the game halo twice. Nothing seems to work! Please, please someone help me with this!! P.S everything else works great. It's just those two maps that arnt working. D.S

you would think that the following week after Castle was released, there would be a DLC Playlist for the 9 maps of the map packs (not including Forge Island) [which didnt happen] its such a hassle to have to switch to different playlists to play a couple of maps *remember: these are just theories of what could happen until 343 says and does something* the quotes below are from the waypoint forum just because a dlc map choice appears at voting, doesnt mean it will get voted for or recieve the most votes the quotes below are from various different sites while looking for any useful info i dont see how this quote fits into this "three or four months after a map pack goes online, most "core" playlists like Infinity Slayer and Big Team Infinity Slayer should be made DLC-mandatory, just like Halo 3" after the last quote listed, the only thing that came up in searches was informaton relating to the different dlc map packs such as the maps, achievements, and reviews at this time, all we can really do is make different theories and guess

Why fragment the online community by selling map packs? Giving them free would ensure longevity .I bought Halo4 for 4vs4 Team Slayer and now cant access it because I dont have the maps.Im sure if you had a promotion where you gave the maps free there would be a huge increase in online matchmaking.The dlc should be singleplayer content.Halo Reach has more players because their matchmaking doesnt take entire game modes away.It simply removes the dlc maps from the playlist when someone in the lobby doesnt have that content.

So I was thinking about this pretty strongly... should 343i include a free, community made map pack? It would be filled with maps for each game mode, and some extra aesthetically pleasing details. The maps might be made by THFE, or they could be by unassociated map makers. I think this would improve community morale, bring players back to Halo, and be lots of fun. Also, they could add these maps to the official multiplayer playlists or even have one of its own. Obviously it would take place on the four forge maps in Halo 4, and they would be equally varied and distributed. I think this addition would be promising. I know that they do already have community maps in War Games, but I'm asking for a full fledged map pack that is treated as so and even includes achievements. Anyways, guys, your opinions?

The dlc maps only show up if all players in the lobby have them, then why should I have to buy maps that I never get to play on. It is unfair to all the players that purchesed the DLC maps, This also goes for Halo Reach, It used to be you had to have them to play in the ranked formats ( Reach and H4 do not have) point being is i will not down load new maps till they show up in regular mackmaking. But it will not matter if the do Because every one just wants to play on Haven anyway, Why should 343i even make new maps if all everone want to do is play the same map over and over and over and over.

I just wanted to ask, what's the bright idea behind smashing the playlists together? Was it really so difficult to keep up on a separate big team playlists? I'm just curious as to the new updates on the Halo 4 frontier as this is a very disappointing game on the multiplayer flip side. I'm not here to start a fight as I am generally curious as to what the meaning is behind this. I understand games have to evolve to keep up with the current gaming demands but we all loved being able to chose between Big Team Slayer and Big Team Objective! I understand that people want to have more variety in their gaming experience but this is why there was a general assortment of playlists, as different as they were. Are you truly making a large portion of us chose between Halo 3, Reach before 4 even comes into play? I call shenanigans! And now with the new DLC, don't get me started on that... Season pass my a$$. Hello guys and gals! I am the The Dumb Marine as always... But let's get into this. Okay, So as a few people heard, Halo: Spartan Assault content came with the Champions Bundle. But some of us don't know of it, or just haven't seen it. I myself discovered the rumor was real just yesterday, In matchmaking of course. So first, The requirements are obviously Halo: Spartan Assault and Glyph codes for Halo: Waypoint, The Spartan Assault achievements Recruit, Prodigy, and Powered by Mjolnir, And Halo 4. I have pictures here of what comes with it. NOTE: The picture DOES NOT BELONG TO ME!!!!!! So, The items you see in this picture are the DMR Striped Skin, And the Determined stance for online multiplayer. There are also two armor skins. First is for the Air Assault armor set, The skin name is Vision. The second armor skin is for C.I.O, Also know as Rush. Unfortunately, I do not own any pictures of the armor sets. I see in the do's & don't it says this section is for posting help & not asking for it, but I can't help but see the laundry list of posts doing just that. I purchased the War Games Map Pass. I can't believe I've only noticed this now, but the new maps never....NEVER...pop up on BTB or 4v4. I have no interest in any other gametypes except slayer, so if the maps are only for dominion or ctf well, that sucks for me. I've been entering & quitting for over an hour now & not once have any of the 6 maps show up. The packs show up when I look on my hard drive through the dashboard. When I look on the marketplace through the game, the map packs don't even show up to give me an option of re-downloading them. I can't help feeling a bit cheated. There are 19 maps, 6 are from those 2 packs so there is a 31% chance of one of them showing up & they never do. ????? I also just checked, both Majestic's & Castle's maps show up if I go to start a custom game.

In the new Halo bulletin, 343 fully explains what comes with the Champions bundle. For example, if you’re most interested in the Bullseye pack, you can download it as a separate piece. However, bonus content is included with the entire bundle. Let’s break it down: Bullseye Pack Vertigo Vertigo is an asymmetrical map that provides a wide variety of indoor and outdoor combat. The map lends itself best to Slayer and Extraction game types and is best played with anywhere from 8 to 10 players. Vertigo also touts the return of a dynamic, interactive element in a Halo multiplayer map: Each base has a trigger point that depletes the shields of all players in range when shot. The map also contains a series of caves on each side as well as three levels of verticality, providing players with several different routes for attacking each base. Pitfall (The Pit) When we first showed off Pitfall, a remake of Halo 3’s The Pit, the crowd at our panel was pretty excited. Not only will Pitfall add another medium-sized symmetrical map to Halo 4 Matchmaking, but the remake also includes updated features (such as strategically placed crates and ledges) that provide increased pace and flow. Whether you’re playing Capture the Flag, Slayer or the new Ricochet game type, Pitfall will bring back memories of sweet, sweet carnage on The Pit. We’re excited to integrate both of these awesome maps into Halo 4 Matchmaking next month. Ricochet (gametype) + Football themed armor If you checked out our RTX panel, you know that I’m quite excited about Ricochet due to the pacing, strategy and unique mix of attack/defend dynamics. The objective of the game type is to protect your team’s goal (a zone that is similar to a Hill in King of the Hill) while scoring in the opposing goal, either by throwing or running the ball into the goal. Running the ball into the goal earns you 50 points, while throwing the ball into the goal gets you 20 points. If you’d like to see a live demo of the game type, you can check it out around the 58:40 mark of our panel live stream, where 343 staff were joined by our friends at Rooster Teeth for a little exhibition match—check it out! The game type will be exclusive to the Bullseye Pack for a limited time of 2 weeks, after which it will become available to all players. Hey guys, first time posting i was wondering if you could help me? i bought the war games map pass which lets me download all the dlc, i downloaded the first dlc when it was released (crimson) when majestic was released i downloaded that and the crimson playlist was gone from my matchmaking screen where i pick which gametype i want to play. the same happened for majestic when the castle dlc came out. i deleted all the dlc and the pass from my hardrive and redownloaded it all (pass from marketplace maps from in game store) and its all on my harddrive but only the castle is still coming up in the playlist. does anyone know what im doing wrong? thanks 5te XD

The Castle Map Pack for Halo 4 debuted this week. That would be news in an of itself, but in an effort to pull in even more extra cash from Halo fans, Microsoft has opted to discount all previous DLC releases for the game. The big caveat here? This sale runs for one day only. Either you buy these packs at a discount today, or you're stuck paying full retail price tomorrow. So, what kind of discounts are we looking at? According to Microsoft, both the Crimson Map Pack and the Majestic Map Pack are each now now available for $7.50 (instead of their usual $10 price tag). Likewise, the War Games Map Pass has been discounted from $25 to a more wallet-friendly $20. You can find all of these discounts on the Xbox Live Marketplace, but again, they're only valid for today, so if you're interested we'd recommend you hurry over and grab your discounted content ASAP. Oh, and in case you're wondering, the Castle Map Pack will set you back $10. It's too early for this addition to see a discount, though buying the discounted War Games Map Pass will allow you to grab all three DLC packs for what is effectively two-thirds of their normal pricing. Lately I have noticed that after about a month or so, New DLC becomes very,very unpopular to everyone. SO 343 has to kinda do something about that because now people are just going back to the original game types. which is not bad whatsoever, but I paid to play good DLC with people and I want to have what I paid for.

In this topic, I'd like to hear your opinions about H4 DLC/Spartan Ops. I know most of the DLC added in Halo games (if not all) were only map packs. I'd like to see, either in DLC or Spartan Ops, the return of Thel' Vadam, AKA the Arbiter. Also, as they have just added Grifball ( ), why not Blargball, adding also playable Sangheili? In Spartan Ops, I think Episode 7 was missing something for some missions. Most of Episode 7's missions were like kill stuff, kill stuff, press a button and kill stuff. So I hope they'll add something jaw-dropping in the next Episodes, as I believe this Season is close to an end. And could be more jaw-dropping than the return of Arby, and maybe a plot-twisting return too, such as Jun's (if he's even alive )? Imagine the situation: Miller: "Crimson, we've received word a Sangheili ally with critical intelligence regarding the Didact's Hand is being targeted for assassination en route to Requiem. We need you to escort his fighter." Me: "...I may now rest in peace..." *finishes episode and goes into multiplayer* Game: "A new feature has been added: you may now play as Elites in matchmaking. Wort wort wort!" Me: "I may now rest in peace twice.... BUT AFTER I PLAY A TRILLION TIMES WITH THIS NEW ELITE FEATURE :DDDD" For DLC, well, I can't say much. Halo DLC is pretty much only map packs and achievements. I haven't seen anything different in any Halo DLC. I hope the maps are really well made, and do not have such big flaws like the one in Complex (if you don't know it, then you probably just bought the game). In addition, of course, with the return of the Arby, they could add Sangheili as a playable race in H4 But this is all dreams, of course. People say Arby will make an appeareance on Spartan Ops, but I don't think it is true :/ What are your opinions and ideas for upcoming DLC/Spartan Ops Missions? P.S.: If you have a proof that Sangheili will be added in MP/any of the things I've said above, please share it with us! You don't want to look like a jerk that goes around and confirms stuff without knowing it, right?

Hey sorry if this is in the wrong area but i have 2 features of my halo 4 limited edition that do not work which is the mappacks (get 3 packs for free) and the speclaisation (that one not fussed about) can you try to fix this for me everything eles works btw thanks for taking the time to read this.

Battlefield 3: End Game will land on all platforms in March 2013.
