  1. Map Name: Fusion Author: Shukunyami Compatible Gametypes: Slayer, CTF (Will add more later) Description: Fusion is an asymmetrical competitive map featuring a large nuclear reactor core in the middle of the map which is connected to a gravity well lift by a bridge. The reactor area serves as the base of operations for Red team. There is a teleporter that can take you inside the reactor, which can lead to hectic, cramped battles, as the inside doesn't have much room to move and features a kill ball floating in the middle and a hidden incineration cannon. The Blue Team base is a bunker with multiple floors and a pile of sandbags on top with a Binary Rifle resting against it. the are a few smaller structures littered around the map as well which feature different Promethean weapons hidden inside. The blue base, while not as easily defendable as red base, comes with 2 mongooses and 1 mantis, along with 3 small platforms that have machine gun turrets on them. Each base also has Dominion Turrets, which can be used in any game mode that allows for teams, but blue base only has 2 while red base has four. You can find the map on my fileshare, along with my other map, Hunger Games Impact. Enjoy!
  2. Looking for a Easy going Competitive Clan that mostly plays CTF, Dominion, Grif Ball with the potential of competing professionally!
  3. Name of Map: Confinery Canvas Map: Forge World Link to MAP: http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/haloreach/RiseAgainstCode/fileshare#!/?section=MapVariants&MapId=&GameMode=0&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=List&tags=&startIndex=0 Recommended Player Count: 6 Game Variant: Slayer Gamertag: RiseAgainstCode Gamertag: RiseAgainstCode Map: Confinery Gametype: Slayer Description: This map is a 2v2 1v1 map that can support up to 8 players. Its a symmetrical map focused on close quarter encounters. There is a neutral rocket launcher, shotgun concussion rifle, grenade launcher and a needler. There are also so frag and stick grenades around the map. This map supports slayer and ctf.
  4. Does anybody know when 343 industries will add the MLG and Team Doubles playlists. In my opinion Halo 4 will be more fun if those two game types are added. I believe that MLG is the best game type and needs to be added because, people all start to communicate and improve their skill and that makes the game more competitive and fun. f you have the MLG game types and maps let me know where to get them please.
  5. Gamertag: Game Boyo Map Name: Corrosion Hellstorm Gametype(s): Hellstorm (CTF Variant) Description/Player Count: This is a variant of my Corrosion map (on Erosion). Technically this was the original idea for the map, but I just recently figured out how I was going to manage it. It is designed specifically for the Hellstorm Gametype (which you can download from my fileshare as well). The basic concept is that the CTF flags (Red and Blue) are swapped. Red Teams goal is to get Blue Teams Flag to the Red Flag Capture Point, which is deep in the heart of Blue Base. Blue Teams goal is to keep Red Team from "storming" the base and returning the flag. Also, Blue Team cannot go past the wall in the middle of the map, that is why Blue Team cannot deliver Red's Flag to win. This may all sound confusing in writing, but it becomes pretty self explanatory once you are playing in the map. So Red Team have fun "Hell-jumping" into Blue Territory and Blue Team enjoy slaughtering Red's as they try to get into your base. Each teams are still armed to the teeth with Shotguns, SAWs, Sticky Det., Rockets, Snipers, Incineration Cannons, and both Grenade Types. But this time there are no vehicles (as they are not practical and in some ways would break the gameplay). It will support 1-16 players on 2 seperate teams, it has no Neutral Initial Spawnpoints for FFA or additional team spawns. I hope you all enjoy it!! -- Best Regards, Game Boyo P.S. If this map gets reviewed, please send me a link to the review, or message me on Xbox Live, much appreciated! Pictures: Below the "Dev Notes" Section Dev Notes: 1) There is a Trait Zone in the middle (wall area) to avoid the use of Jetpack Spartans from managing their way over to Red Teams side of the wall, but this shouldn't affect jetpacks in any other way as it is only localized to a specific area inside the wall. 2) The Man Cannon mechanics can be tricky, so my best advice is to be moving at either a full-speed walk or run at them. I have tested crouching and walking towards them and as long as you do it at full-speed, there should be no problems; if you inch your way to it slowly, you may not make it over the wall (and possibly go splat on your way down). As long as you make it over the wall, you should take no damage from the fall. Good luck Hell-jumpers!! 3) And my apologies to anyone who may have downloaded this map prior to 12:10PM CST on December 4th 2012. I seem to have uploaded an incomplete version of the map. The proper one is now uploaded to my fileshare. Pictures as promised:
  6. Okay, so these two maps are two attempts at building the same thing (i.e. a space station), the first attempt having fallen short of my initial vision. Both maps are symmetrical. I named the failed attempt Derelict and decided to finish it enough to be played in slayer (no objectives), compensating for the map's inadequacies by giving the whole thing a trait zone enabling double jump and half gravity (and quarter fall damage), removing the glass from all over to allow for the outside of the station to become part of the playable area of the map, and threw down a whole bunch of heavy weapons (none of which was intended at first). My second attempt is named Observatory and definitely lived up to my vision (albeit barely, 9,970 spent and I already hit the unwritten limit on total objects, and I had to go back repeatedly swapping decorative pieces for less expensive substitutes, not to mention delete a whole bunch of spawn points). The map is enabled for 4-16 players (Red, Blue, Gold and Green teams) on Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, Free for All, Flood, and Oddball. It has multiple levels in the middle with a pair of heavy weapons (Railguns, Scattershots and Concussion Rifles, in that order from top to bottom) on each of the lower 3 levels (4 total). The docking ring of the station connects to the 2nd level of the mid-section (2 levels above, 1 below). Sections are colored by quadrant to assist in navigation (internal walls are colored specifically to indicate which path leads to which quadrant, outer walls are colored accordingly with the color of the quadrant in which they reside).
  7. Hey everyone, I recently re-made a CTF map in Impact from a previous (though well received) 1 Flag Foundry Map (Yes, Halo 3). I have had a few friends come and test out my map during the different stages of developement and testing. It's currently in a proto-type version, with ordinance not quite timed, but put for placement. Buildings and structure are in near final stage. If you have any criticisms or reflections on "glitches" or cheats, spawns, weapons and timers, or the discovery of an overpowered position, please post a reply to help me further balance the game. The Map variant is titled "UNSC Say My Name" coupled with it's corresponding Game variant "High-Priority Package". As is the gametype uses it's own custom classes, but you may turn it off as you wish. Final descisions on the caracteristics of the variant are still in the works. Positive comments or critisims only please. SammichEaterPro [GT]
  8. There are just a couple of complaints I have with CTF which I find enjoyable overall. First off I really hate the inability to return flags, however I understand this was something 343 wanted to make different from previous titles/other franchises. I also really don't like the ability to cap a flag when your's is away from the base. Also I understand 343 stands behind this feature. The last thing that really bothers me; and this would have to be on the top of my grievance list, is the fact that you have no say in weather or not you pick up the flag when you walk over it. If you fix anything in this gametype 343, please make it this. It is much easier to maneuver around an enemy base without a flag and a giant marker over your head.
  9. You have to make flags and oddballs so that you have to actively pick them up. Makes me rage so much when someone just trows an oddball to me and I can't do anything. Same with the flag. Accidently walk over a flag and then it's in my hand and I'm unable to do anything.
  10. GT: Temporal Enigma (On my Halo 4 fileshare. Obviously the system isnt up yet) Gametype: Four Way CTF Map: Four Way CTF (Space) It is a four way ctf match. each base i symmetrical and contains a turret, mongoose, and a warthog vehicle pad. I have played this map with four people but the more the better. The good thing about this map is it could be 3 way or two way CTF too. a rocket spawns in the middle at the beginning but other weapons drop later. you can also earn ordnance. one cool ordnance drop is the Jet pack Armor Ability!
  11. Here you go guys, I managed to grab these off of The Halo Council's News page to share with you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Knee5wf5Pto http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=f_aopGlSnH0 Hope you guys enjoyed c: I'm hyped for Halo 4, are you? ;D
  12. New to Halo 4 CTF (Capture the Flag) there is a unique weapon...the flagnum! This spectacular combination of UNSC developement and in-the-field implementation results in...the amazing ability to dual wield both a flag and a weapon, specifically the .45 magnum! If you break down the words to the root, and then combine them (scientifically of course), you get [flag-num (flag derived from flag, num derived from mag-NUM)]...THE FLAGNUM!!! Bringing you the latest Halo 4 news live from Carolina's (cramped) memory unit; -Church *Note In all seriousness, while this is really a feature of Halo 4, this was meant as a joke and should be treated as such. And in all seriousness, this is seriously funny!
  13. Download Championship: http://halo.xbox.com...etails/30559234 Have a score to settle? This is where you do it. Championship is my take on the ultimate Capture the Flag map. It also works great for Assault. It's perfect for both small and large team games. Each base has strengths and weaknesses. Each base has a set of well balanced, multi-tiered entrances. This map is all about the gameplay. At the heart of the map is the upper level Jump Block Crossing. Below that is the massive Magnet Rink. If you go for the jump block cross, you may end up in the magnet rink. The center of the map is intentionally open to make the players in the magnet rinks inability to jump interesting. The two gates, along with the two ramps on either side of the map add great short and long range conflicts. The light man cannons in front of the bases throw players up and into their opponent's base like old school pirates boarding a schooner. -6x DMR -4x Magnum -4x Plasma Pistol -4x Assault Rifle -2x Needle Rifle -2x Concussion Rifle -2x Needler -2x Grenade Launcher -2x Shotgun -1x Energy Sword -1x Rocket Launcher Thanks for checking out my map, Championship. Have fun!
  14. Please note it is camera quality and loud, so watch out! Here is a video showcasing a game of Capture The Flag on the new map, Exile. This is from Bravo's point of view, thanks to him for recording gameplay and uploading it to his YouTube. 17. Update: I mailed these ideas to 343 Industries themselves! FloodFight: I think there should be a new version of FireFight called Flood Fight. Where you square off in survival against waves of Flood. A re-imagination of Firefight, or kind of like Halo: CEA'S Mission: The Library. It could also maybe become a New Infection Gametype, where players square off 8v8. One team are players who spawn as Flood Forms who try to Infect you. While the other team are players who spawn as Spartans trying to Survive until the Round is Over. A good idea in the comments was: ODST Playlist: An idea of mine, is to make a new Playlist called "ODST". Where it is basically the same as regular matchmaking, but everyone are ODST's. The health system would be based off the game Halo: 3 ODST. And maybe when the Game starts, You and your team spawn in Drop-Pods. I think that would be pretty epic. Here are some Game-Types I came up with: ODST Team Slayer - 4v4 Slayer ODST Rumble Pit - Free for All ODST CTF - 4v4 Capture the Flag ODST FireFight - Classic Firefight ODST Swat - 4v4 Team Swat with the Killer ODST Magnum It seems like it would create and attract a New Halo Fan-Base. And suit some of the Halo Universe who love the playing style of Halo 3: ODST, more than regular Halo. It would create a whole new community, and you could play something a little different if you ever got bored of playing as a spartan in Multi-Player. All 343i would have to do is make a custom gametype for the Game Mode. As for having your guy look like an actual ODST.. It would be fairly simple. Just make a 3rd species preference. Its just like how you can choose between playing as a spartan or an Elite, except that you can only use it in the ODST Playlist.
