    It seems 343 is moving on again. Small groups of people at 343 have already started the creative process, and even a few lines. "We do kind of know what’s going to happen in the next game pretty well at this point," explains franchise development director Frank O’Connor. "We’re doing serious real planning and even some writing on the next game already, and that’s a luxury – we’ve never been in that position before. So we both know at a very high level what’s going to happen in, say, ten years from now. But at that very granular level knowing what’s going to happen in the next game and that’s just been a great feeling for me." As it appears, Bonnie is mobilizing Frank O'Connor and a few teams to "really lay the fictional foundation for the next 20 years." Bonnie also points out that several ideas playing a part in Halo 6 are already layed out. Stating they had to know where they were going by the end of Halo 4. Frank O'Connor has displayed caution, however in this, saying that starting too soon and too fast could change Halo's world and change plans. Frankie says: " ... [if] you start making those stepping stones too rigid, then you’re not being realistic about the game development process. That process could change the story but we know what’s going to happen in the next game, and we kind of know what’s going to happen to the Master Chief ultimately. " Halo 5 is finished.     Hey everyone. I know that some of you must know me, the older members at least. I really wouldn't expect a newer member to remember me, given I'm barely here anymore oppose to how much I used to be here in the past. And lately, I've been making more frequent visits, lurking among the shadows of the forum just to see that all of you are safe and okay. Because despite how distant I have gotten I still care about every single one of you, dearly. You guys were all my friends, and I still see you as friends, even if we don't talk often. With this member ranking structure update, I've come back with the goal to get to Legendary status, yes. Who wouldn't have that goal? But I just want all of you to know that me coming back isn't just because of a fancy color and title. It's because I miss this place, I truly do. I miss the countless hours of fun in the shoutbox. The events. The members. The moderators. ...Art week.. The one thing I did for this forum that no other succeeded at. Everything in this place that you can even imagine, because the possibilities are endless with the creativity and devotion of all of you. But at the same time, I find it hard to come back, because as I grow older I'm starting to do different things. I'm starting to get more and more friends outside of my digital life. I have parents that are slowly starting to rely on me, because sooner or later I'll be the one taking the torch. And most of all, I've just gotten so many priorities to the point where I don't know where to start. I would sit here and make another promise to come back, and stay back. But at the same moment, I can't. Because I don't know where my life is going to take me. I just go day by day, and whatever happens is going to happen. I have a goal to try and come back, because I feel that I need to do it for all of you. You all showed me how fun it is to be within a community. And with the time I was here, I was at my peak of happiness. And ever since I left, I feel like that happiness just left. And on top of that, you all are amazing people that I miss being around. Because this place is diverse, and flowing with as much cheeriness and prosperity as possible. And it's amazing how no matter what happens here, that mood maintains. I don't know if this is a thank-you, a speech, or even a declaration of home-coming. But I know one thing, and that is for sure. I should be here, and I should be doing as much as I can to pay back all the respect, and kindness I've received over these two years. But rather, I'm sitting and thinking of what to do, rather than just doing what I should've been doing this entire time - ..Just being here. I owe it to all of you, to be here. Because you all cleared up my dark and stormy nights. No matter how little interaction you had. I will come back, because I know I have to. And I know I've said this before, but at the time I was too incompetent and immature to understand. But now I do, and I will apply as much effort as possible to be able to be here. Not only for myself, but for all of you. Thanks for the wild ride these past two years.     Welcome one and all, to the next Official Art Week thread!! And from last time as you all know, we had a little theme going on with our photos. And this time, we are going to follow that same tradition. However, this time was about a new type of theme, and what we plan on doing with it. Our theme for this Art Week, is to make photos that revolve mainly around Rooster Teeth. What we plan on doing is, getting a collection of Rooster Teeth related drawings all together, and sending them all to Rooster Teeth, as a tribute to their hard efforts, and to try and help raise their spirits. So, RvB, RWBY, Rooster Teeth Animated Adventures, or even just a tribute to the RT Life. Either way, let's bring a smile to their faces this time around. Rules: I'm allowing 5-6 photos per artist. Do NOT copy or post other artists work without permission from them, alongside I. Please try to keep the photo on topic. You can make photos that do not relate, however and state that was the intention. Be considerate of other members work, do not be rude, or harass another over their art. And remember, make sure it's appropriate and not like, all over the place. Last but not least, have a fun time thinking up your ideas, you've got plenty of time until then, so... Get doing whatever you do.     I realized in the time I've been here I never even posted an introduction on the forums, so here it is. Hi, I'm rrhuntington. I joined this forum two years ago, after watching this place for a good time. Before I came here, I had not known a place like this even existed. A Halo forum where fans of the series and some former fans could find themselves and talk about Halo and games in general. I joined 343ICF because I love Halo, and that statement holds true to today. It really is a magical game to me, and it was a staple of my childhood. So to join a place that prides itself in the enjoyment, news, and following of the franchise was an easy deal. During my first few weeks I had signed up on here, I had no intention of staying as long as I have, and I really didn't. I stayed until December of 2012 and then left for over a year. I joined in what I like to call "The post Halo 4 period." Where the community of Halo still seemed shell-shocked on what kind of gamed Halo 4 truly was. At that time, I couldn't see the good this site had to offer. Realizing now how I felt back then, I must have been blind. When I came back late in 2013, I don't remember what told me to come back. Maybe it was a rekindling of interest in Halo, maybe it was just curiosity. Whatever it was, I'm glad it happened. I started becoming more active, engaging in more conversations, and writing posts on thought provoking topics. It's like something just clicked in my brain. I saw through whatever cloud blinded me the previous year. I joined play dates in Halo and other games abroad, and I mingled with people. I started to make friends on the site over the past year. They have made me laugh, and made me think and have given different viewpoints on many different topics. I rose from GREENIE to Trusted to Dedicated very quickly. There was so much to talk about in threads and in the Shoutbox, that it made ranking up easy, but it was never about that. After a while, I just wanted to be around you guys, everyone on this site. This place has become a (sort of) home for me. It wasn't just about Halo anymore, it was this site, and the people who dwelled here. I'm sorry I couldn't see that before. I come here everyday... because of all of you. Everyone that's ever been here has made it a blast. All the GREENIES, All the Trusted, All the Dedicated, Art Department, News Team, The Moderators, Admins, TWAM... Even the Banished ones who are no longer with us. I want to thank all of you. You are my reason to keep striving here. We'll go through tough times, and we'll go through some of Great moments together, and I'll be honored to be a part of it all. As we step upon the door to a the dawn of a new era in Halo, and this site alike, I'll keep walking with you through the door and beyond. You've all made it a journey I'll never forget, and I don't think I ever want to get off this ride. Let's make some more memories eh? Look Buddy... See ya around.

    Hello American football fans it's almost time for the season to officially start. That being said: Mayh3m, BZ, and I are looking for some football heads to get into our Fantasy Football league with us on Yahoo. It'll be a Standard draft, standard point league. Right now we have 3 people like I said. One good thing about Fantasy Football is that you don't even need to be hardcore football fan to get involved. I got into the NFL THROUGH Fantasy Football actually. It makes you want to watch games to see your players do well and keep stats. If you're interested follow these steps: 1. Create a Yahoo account. 2. PM me when you've done so. 3. Get ready for game day! We need an even amount of people with 4 minimum but we're opening this up to all the members just in case there were some football fans or anyone who were interested that we might've been over looking.     Hey everyone, I know it has been a while! And I am quite sorry for that. But, I have some good news! Art Week will be officially starting again in the beginning of August. The date is NOT specified, but just know that it will most definitely be in the beginning of August. Which is why I have been thinking about it a lot, and so I have some results. So, here is the concept this time. For us in the Northern Hemisphere it is summer. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, it is Winter. So depending on where you are on a Hemispherical way of looking at it, that should base your pictures theme. Although, if you'd like to do vice-versa or just make your own idea in general, go ahead! You are free to your choices here, right? Also, if you've noticed my new status.... You're probably wondering what the whole "I love bees" gimmick with me is, right? I know you are. So now to unveil why I've been away for so long!! I've been waiting for a long time now. Here is a few hints: So, any idea yet..? Well, you most likely guessed right! What you are seeing right now is my new gametype... Halo 2 Anniversary slayer! This is in version 0.04 as there hasn't been a lot of issues, but I'll be waiting for Comic-Con and GamesCom before I add any more features into it. The first night it was easier to get players to fill the lobby but the second night it was a little tougher. Eventually we ended up filling the lobby out of nowhere during a 3v3 lol. We played on some of the best competitive maps other than MYM submissions with some of the best members of the Halo Community.
