He was helped by some huge names in the Forge Community such as Redemption1272, the winner of our Meet Your Maker Forge Contest, WARHOLIC from The Halo Council, Psychoduck of THFE, and The Fated Fire who was one of the runners up in the Meet Your Maker Contest. Now the usual argument is about Halo being like CoD now and all that but he takes an interesting approach to this one and goes as far as saying that it copies Super Mario! From what I've seen in the gameplay video: you can find action around every corner, the man cannons prove to be very useful, and there are some interesting vantage points on the map. Our great former MoM, Victory Element, will now be awarded with the MoM Award: PLAY DATES Halo Wars Play Date The Halo Wars Play Date was a huge success if I do say so myself. We had a full lobby right from the start and two lobbies going. First we started with me, skumm, and Boss against Sweaty, Elite, and the Heroic AI. We destroyed them. Then AbleSir Thomas joined the fun and it was the same teams except we decided to go all random leaders and Boss got stuck as Covenant and was MISERABLE. It was great. And I got wrecked by AbleSir, Sweaty, and Elite's air units combined. All in all, great time. I found myself going with a pattern of competitive and aesthetic maps really. This week I felt like featuring a Dominion map so who else to talk to than Dominion Host for The Halo Forge Epidemic than AbleSir Thomas? I asked him for a map he made for Dominion and all he gave me was a link to this beauty. The map's aesthetics will be similar to that of Ravine, so it will be green and rocky like a beautiful grotto in some parts and more like an island in others! I found myself going with a pattern of competitive and aesthetic maps really. This week I felt like featuring a Dominion map so who else to talk to than Dominion Host for The Halo Forge Epidemic than AbleSir Thomas? I asked him for a map he made for Dominion and all he gave me was a link to this beauty. It's free. And it's huge. It has 3 main "areas" if you will: The Large Flatland, The Mid-size Flatland, and The Small Flatland. There is a massive amount of space in the skybox of the map. The map's aesthetics will be similar to that of Ravine, so it will be green and rocky like a beautiful grotto in some parts and more like an island in others!
