The map was also contributed by Shadow Kryptiic & DUN3Z. The map is multi-leveled as well as it is completely indoors. The map consists of initial ordnance drops as well as random ordnance drops for consistent gameplay. The map was also submitted for flood matchmaking, and is 1 of the 4 maps that were accepted.   6. Everyone says if you don't like something, voice your opinion. Well here goes. I hate slayer pro. If I wanted preset classes and no radar I would play on a MLG playlist. Oh wait, h4 doesn't have one. Well maybe 343 should get rid of one of the crappy playlists and put a MLG list so they can take slayer pro out of the social playlists. Anyone else agree?

HALO 5 IDEAS I think that maybe cortana should be back and that you can play as master chief as he should visit earth and find out about the odst's in new mombasa, reach where he finds out the history of noble team, and new forerunner planet, where there is a halo ring on the outside (like Jupiter its rings) Brutes and flood should be back as different factions every single weapon from previous halo's should be back and amplified so they are all equal and not overpowered, but have more varieties of weapons like halo 3. Able to have equipment, armor abilities and 5 different types of grenades: frag, plasma, spike, flame and pulse but making their rate of explosion more higher and their damage within 1.5-2.5 radius. equipment as in portable gravlifts powerdrain tripmine etc from halo 3 armor abilities must stay and jet pack must be better or equvalent power from halo reach cuz it just sucks in halo 4 make one map that is massive and that is the same as a battlefield map cuz so on multipayer it can be spartans vs elites slayer with mammoths, elephants, pelicans, shortsword, longswords phantoms scarabs every halo wars vehicle for unsc and convenant so its one big total war on the field so its just massacre everywhere. game mode for flood vs Prometheans flood vs spartans elite vs spartans slayers make zombies, spartan zombies and flood in infection playlists invasion must come back to be continued!!!
  8. All right, "Elite" said my poll was one-sided, so I'll remove my influential opinions (lol) and make some unbiased, boring points. There are many options for Halo 5's Magnum. Each iteration throughout the saga has had its perks and flaws. In CE, the "Pistol" was great--a lightning-fast three-shot kill with 2x zoom, deadly accuracy, and a high skill-curve. Its two major flaws in my opinion were that it had a large clip (12 bullets, I believe), which forgave errant shooting, and it dominated all other non-power weapons, leading to sometimes monotonous--yet consistent--matches. In Halo 2, it was christened "Magnum" and received some new features. It was a five-shot kill and the first iteration to have an eight-bullet clip. These nerfs were added to balance out dual wielding, which brought some epic combos to the game (Pea-shooter/Magnum, SMG/Plasma Rifle). While it was rewarding to use, its kill time still made it a clear secondary to the Battle Rifle. In Halo 3 the Magnum did not change much. The Battle Rifle and Assault Rifle clearly outshone it in many respects; it was used mainly for cleaning up headshots when the primary weapon of choice ran out of ammo. It also didn't have a scope, as I recall. In Halo 3: ODST, the Magnum underwent a dramatic change. It became silenced and was pretty much useless against the Brutes; however, its scoped ability remained highly effect against Jackals and Grunts (yayyyy!!!). In Reach, the Magnum was either a 5sk or 6sk, but it shot much faster. To compensate for this, bloom was added to prevent spamming. It remained an effective weapon; in te beginning of the game, the bloom reset faster than that of the DMR. In Halo 4, the bloom remains and the Magnum is a six-shot kill. It is actually surprisingly effective--if you can manage the bloom. Firing faster makes for random outcomes, so pacing is key. Some say that a six-shot kill is not rewarding for the skill it takes to deal with bloom, or because the primary weapons are now buffed (#Halo4Turbo). Its damage was increased to promote teamshooting, but it remains a 6sk. 343i now however have the ability to tweak it with ease, so opinions on its transformation are welcome. Which Magnum was the best? the worst? Do you think there should be different variants for multiplayer and campaign (stealth levels) or should it be consistent throughout both faculties? Leave your thoughts below; I'll reset the poll questions so they are less biased and so I can recollect the information after writing this lengthy post.

    Dear 343, from all the competitive community, we need a four shot kill battle rifle. we cannot just have 4SK settings at tournaments because it would put off all the casual community. but it is so much better to have 4SK at tournaments because it promotes team shotting, good positioning, if you sprint you will get punished and you also get punished for bad aiming because you cannot get yourself back on track with your opponent so easily. please buff the BR, for the competitive communities sake. check this video out: say yes if you want to support us!!!

  14. Source: Examiner 343 Industries released a title update to Halo 4 on the Xbox 360 Thursday with various exploit and gameplay fixes. The exact details of the Halo 4 title update have not been released yet as 343 Industries wanted to wait until after the update was released. Community manager Jessica Shea did say, "this particular TU tackles actual game and gameplay issues, not sandbox tweaks and balances. We have another TU in the works and will continue working on the timing and content of the next one." The title update moves Halo 4 to version 1.02 and is an approximately 30MB download. Halo 4 players have already confirmed a number of fixes on Reddit and the Halo Waypoint forums though. These include the following. Haven has been fixed. Weapons are no longer in the floor. Endgame killcams added in some gametypes but reportedly don't work correctly Game is reportedly smoother. An issue with DLC only working on one profile has now been fixed. Trying to launch ‘Halo Waypoint’ from Halo 4′s menus no longer crashes your console. It is now possible to get the ‘Last Strike’ medal in Matchmaking. We'll add the full list of fixes when 343 Industries releases them. Here are some issues that were not fixed with this title update. Theater is still broken Super Throw Glitch still work
  15. 343 has shown that it doesn't know how to manage the halo series. the community further depletes as we speak, and it is, in part, 343's fault. this is because most people don't like to play out-of-date games, they want what's fresh. if the new game is either bad or not as good as it's predecessor, many players don't know where to go, and simply don't play. and 343 ruining or taking out many of halo's selling points is not the way to go. you cant argue that halo is not as popular as it used to be. that is not all 343's fault, however, they are not doing anything to help. lets be honest for a second. halo is getting more like CoD with each game. deny if you want, but you know it's true. 343 tried to please everyone, but ended up with very few real fans. many of halo's original values have been either removed, or changed for the worse. a short list I came up with off the top of my head: end game is bad, Spartan ops is not worthy replacement for firefight, less emblems, bad armor, ordinance drops instead of preplaced weapons, bad ranking system, little to no custom games, forge sucks, lack of game types (yes I know they add some, but its still not much) removal of many weapons, infection is gone (yes I know there is flood, but you cannot customize it in custom games anymore. infected can ONLY have sword thing, etc.) bad maps, boring and repetitive multiplayer with higher level players having advantages. ranking system not based on skill, unexplained (or unclear) explanation of covenant enemies, NO graphical improvements less features, less vehicles, mantis OP (and IMO unwanted), armor abilities, loadouts, keep in mind this is not a complete list this is just a list of things I can com up with off the top of my head while writing this. maybe if we can come together on the forums something will come of it. unfortunately, most original halo fans have given up hope and wouldn't think to come here. but if you have, like or comment for support of change or resell of halo's franchise.

As you all know, the Sangheili species are not (yet) playable on Halo 4. 343i and lots of people use the argument "The Multiplayer (War Games) is now canonical to the Campaign", but here are the stuff the are wierd about this: ->The MM is actually a simulator aboard the Infinity ->The simulation is to train Spartan IV's ->The Flood is destroyed (at least not present on Campaign nor SpOps) So. You see what I mean? The humanity has not encountered the Flood at all after the events of Halo 3, and yet we have a Flood-specific gametype. I know that it's for the fun, but think: ->S IV's are probably not going to face Flood ->The Flood is not present at all ->The War Games are supposed to simulate an actual battle ->You get to control the Flood ->S IV's probably don't even know what the Flood are You see where this is going? 343i didn't include playable Sangheili for canonical reasons. If it is supposed to tie up to both SpOps and Campaign, why are the Flood in the WG simulator but Sangheili aren't? S IV's are going to face the Storm faction, a Covenant remain thing. So why not to put Invasion too? You Spartan fans are going to say: "Oh, simple, why would a Spartan, the mighty powerful Spartan with cool armor, would want to see the war as a dinosaur?" And here's my answer: "Why would a Spartan want to see the war as a Flood?" It makes no sense. UNSC would be then training a demonic, inter-galactic parasite to defeat their ranks? Because if an infection happens, the infected spartans would know how to take out other Spartans, so yeah. No sense. It would make way more sense to include Sangheili. Why? ->There actually are Separatist Sangheili that are allied with the humans ->There is no alliance between Humans and the Parasite ->Seeing the war from your enemy's point of view is a good strategy You may say "But there are no Sangheili aboard the Infinity". The humans have the tech to create a frigging huge ship! I think they are more than capable of creating an "A.I" that the players would control. 343i needs to think of a better excuse of such a stupid move. What would you think?
  18. Hey Guys, Just wanted to get a little feedback for my map, Omission. This is the first truly quality map that I have made on Halo 4, I spent hours on it. Made a few on Reach but none of my friends are really Forgers so they were somewhat undermined. I have some friends that really love it, it is designed for Halo 4 matchmaking and I can honestly say you will not be disappointed if you decide to take a look. I'm really looking for feedback and ideas to make the map better, so if even some people could download it it would really be appreciated. Name: Omission Game-types: Slayer, Infinity Slayer, SWAT, CTF and KOTH Best with: As many players possible. Description: Symmetrical map set on a UNSC research base/laboratory that studies planetary rocks.   19. I for one was very disappointed by the lack of large maps in halo 4, true we have a lot of BTB maps but they are all fairly small and incapable of supporting heavy vehicle combat. What i would like to see in halo 5 is the introduction of a 16 v 16 heavy combat playlist which would pit teams against each other on very large maps loaded with air and ground vehicles. I would like to see the following vehicles in halo 5: -Warthog -Guass hog -Rocket hog -mortar hog -mongoose -Scorpion -Mantis -Falcon -Hornet -Wraith -Spectre -Banshee -Chopper -Ghost -Possibly even pelicans and spirits With this massive pallet of vehicles we should also get some new anti vehicle weapons here are some ideas: -Rocket launcher -Anti armor/air rockets (tracks ground and air targets, low splash damage) -Anti personnel rockets (no tracking, high splash damage) -Spartan Laser (how could anyone forget:) -Heavy Railgun (The most powerful weapon in the game, hold 2 rounds, has 2x and 10x scope, one hit kill on literally anything, pelicans included) -Plasma Launcher (practically the same as the one from reach but with better tracking and more damage) -Anti armor incendiary rounds (can be placed on map and are weapon specific, deal 2x the damage to vehicles) -Gauss turret (like the one on the warthog except in "shade turret" format -Rocket turret (like the ones on the mammoth in halo 4) -Oh and possibly mines as well (they could fit into a grenade slot on your HUD) These are just some cool ideas i had, feel free to critic them or add some ideas of your own
  20. Ok first things first, I am a first time poster on this forum, so please let me know if I am doing anything incorrectly. So tonight I went onto Halo 4 to test out the new maps and Infinity rumble playlist, and I noticed that there were only about 40,000 people online at 9:30 EST. This disappoints me, as it seems like every day more and more people are leaving the game, and the community itself. I got to thinking, what is it about Halo 4 that is making these people not want to play, and what could be changed to help to bring them back. My answer to the first question is that the game has branched too far out from what originally made Halo a great FPS, and my answer to the second is as follows: What Needs to Change: 1. A 1-50 TruSkill Ranking system must be implemented 2. Ranked Playlists must be added with the 1-50 ranking system. The playlists I would like to see are: 1. Lone Wolves (6 Player FFA) Gametypes include Slayer, Infinity Slayer, Oddball, and King of the Hill 2. Team Slayer (4v4) Gametypes include Slayer and Infinity Slayer 3. Team Objective (4v4) Gametypes include Capture the Flag, Oddball, Extraction, and King of the Hill 4. Team Swat (4v4) 5. Team Snipers (4v4) 6. Team Doubles (2v2) Gametypes include Slayer, Infinity Slayer, Oddball, and King of the Hill 7. AGL (4v4) Gametypes include AGL Settings Slayer, Capture the Flag, Extraction, Oddball, and King of the Hill 8. Squad Battle (6v6) Gametypes include Slayer, Infinity Slayer, Dominion, Extraction, Capture the Flag 3. Social Playlists need to be distinctly separate from Ranked, with random matchmaking instead of skill based. Social Playlists I would like to see are: 1. Rumble Pit (8 Player FFA) Gametypes include Slayer, Infinity Slayer, Oddball, King of the Hill 2. Social Slayer (5v5) Gametypes include Slayer and Infinity Slayer 3. Social Skirmish (5v5) Gametypes include Capture the Flag, Oddball, Extraction, and King of the Hill 4. Multi-Team (6 Teams of 2) Gametypes include Slayer, Infinity Slayer, Oddball, and King of the Hill 5. Big Team Battle (8v8) Gametypes include Slayer, Infinity Slayer, Dominion, Extraction, Capture the Flag 6. Action Sack (4v4) 7. Grifball (4v4) 8. Flood (6v6) 4. In order for the above playlists to work, Dominion, Regicide, and Infinity Slayer must all become gametypes (as opposed to the playlists they are now) to be voted on with all other gametypes available in each playlist. Only Infinity Slayer would have personal ordnance and instant spawn, all other gametypes would have their normal settings. Join in progress would be enabled for Social, disabled for Ranked. Killcams would be dependent on the playlist settings. Loadouts would be allowed based on the particular playlist settings. 5. No more random weapon spawns. Weapons should spawn how they have in every other Halo, in a particular place on a timer. Making weapon spawns random removed one of the two biggest facets of Halo gameplay, power weapon control. Besides skill itself, weapon control and map control were two of the most important aspects of all Halo games, and I believe it imbalances the game to have random weapon spawns. 6. Remove bloom and recoil. I feel like bloom was a failed experiment in Halo Reach, and it should not have been brought over to Halo 4. There may need to be some changes made to the fire rate of the DMR, Magnum, AR, etc. The BR has recoil, but it is small and almost unnoticeable anyways, so might as well just remove it. No bloom worked fine in MLG, and the previous Halos, with some tweaking it should work fine here as well. 7.Remove flinch, bring back being knocked out of scope. I don't know why they changed this in the first place, but I feel like getting rid of flinch and adding back in being knocked out of scope when shot is the way to go. The game would feel more like Halo I believe. 8. Remove Invisibility as an Armor Ability, make it a powerup like Damage Boost, Speed Boost, and Overshield. Have these placed around the map like in previous Halo titles, able to be picked up by a player. That is pretty much it, everything I think could be changed to help make the game feel more like Halo, less like a mishmash of other stuff. Let me know what you think about it! Mercules

  22. So, from what I understand, I was to receive Fotus Armour from my Halo 4 Console Disc. However, I don't have the Armour in my selection, I've tried everything. I'm really getting upset about this. I know it's a bit silly but I payed for it and I should have it. I have the SN of my console and the game case. What can be done to fix this?
