  1. Nintendo Direct Packed in A Lot Of Brand New Games For The Year Of 2014 If you are a true fan of the Nintendo Franchise then you already know that 2014 is going to be filled with goodies. Nintendo Direct is an Online Presentation done by Nintendo describing what the upcoming year is going to look like for them. This year they had quite the full sack with lot of toys for all the good little girls and boys. Most of the conference held on Today, December 18th, 2013, had to do with the 3DS. They started the presentation off strong with a glimpse at "Hyrule Warriors", which, however, is not what you think. This is going to be an extention of the "Dynasty Warriors" game franchise not apart of the "Legend Of Zelda" franchise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEYeCFFbHOU There was then talk of the recently announced Kirby: Triple Deluxe and some new game modes that it will include. There will be a four playerfighter mode and a rhythm-based plat former starring King Dedede. Also, Nintendo announced the Yoshi's New Island. This game will be on the 3DS platform. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtJyud6dFNM That one will bring some classic feelings back to the Nintendo platform. Speaking of Classic feeling Nintendo is also planning to make a "reboot" of the old Donkey Kong Country games. The newest installment will be called Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DueE8vJXpo8 It will infuse that good old fashioned Donkey Kong feeling with all new ways to experience the fun. You will get the opportunity to play as multiple characters across your tropical journey's. Then lastly in the big announcements, they announced another track and some awesome footage of Mario Kart 8. This time we get some awesome footage from an airport themed map. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrKY8cJfXEw And with that we come to a close. Source IGN

  4. Does Destiny have the potential to be 2014's game? Made by the ambitious and amazing company Bungie, Destiny looks like it has the potential to be nominated and even chosen as the best game of 2014. Destiny almost makes me just looking at it. When Bungie said they were going to go bigger than Star Wars and better than Halo, I think they might have a chance. Now, with early impressions, do you think Destiny has a chance at achieving this prestigious award?
  5. I'm sure most of you know about the new Robocop movie coming out in 2014. I was just looking around and found some images, including some pictures of the new Robocop suit. And a picture of this thing. I can't remember what it's name is since it's been forever since I've last seen Robocop. I just wanted to see what you think about it. There's more info at http://www.omnicorp.com/#
  6. Rumor suggests the Xbox 720 and the PS4 will not be released at the same time. Read below for more details From: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/homepage.php? By: Tom Ivan GameStop CEO Paul Raines doesn't expect both Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4to launch in 2013. While Christmas 2013 releases for both consoles have been rumoured, the boss of the biggest specialist games retailer in the world told Polygon that the latest whispers he's heard suggest Microsoft and Sony will enter the next gen race at the different times. "This week, I'm getting a lot of rumors that are very interesting about 2013," Raines said. "We have not been expecting two more consoles in 2013. "We're expecting Wii U this holiday, another one next year, and another one in '14. These rumors change every week, but we're hearing more about next year." Xbox 360 launched a full year before PS3, a factor many feel has greatly contributed to the success of Microsoft's console, and Sony has admitted it would be "undesirable" to let Xbox 720 get a significant head start on PS4. However, SCE America CEO Jack Tretton said in June that quality is more important than getting to market first, stating: "We've never been first, we've never been cheapest, it's about being best." EA Labels president Frank Gibeau suggested last week that Xbox 720 and PS4 are due to launch "in about a year's time". More recently, he labelled next gen consoles the company's currently making games for "spectacular". And Oskari Hakkinen, head of franchise development at Remedy, said last month that the next gen consoles his studio's also developing for represent "a quantum leap" from those currently available.
