It depends where you live. If you live within North America, it's a good to buy it as the Multiplayer should be funcitonal and the campaigns work fine. If you live outside of N.A. it's probably best to lay off buying it for a while still, since it doesn't work properly.

MCC works on a different system, and 343i wanted to give everyone a clean and even start. That's why old data from previous games will not be featured in MCC.
-
Precursor. Would there be any better choice?
-
I didn't care about them, they meant absolutely nothing to me in the slightest. So it won't matter if they make the final cut or not when H5G launches, cause it really doesn't make a difference.
-
But disregarded lore does nothing beneficial for anyone, because 343i can no longer reverse it. Black Team is dead, there is no changing it, because if you do, you overwrite previously finished lore. Which is why I don't understand why Escalation is being pushed aside to change something already set in stone.
Even if they did change it, Black Team's dead was essential in setting Blue Team and the Chief on their path, changing that means changing the plot of Escalation and Halo 5, which is far too much work to do, which is why changing it will never happen and disregarding the lore for personal preference just simply confuses the surveyor.
It's like saying this "If Halo 3 never happened, how would you have wanted the trilogy to end?".
Disregarding laid out lore is perfectly justifiable for gaining insight on people's thoughts.

The game can't be more than 34% broken in any region of the world because only a third of it is online. 80% would mean that living in non-US regions screwed over the offline stuff too somehow. Weren't the framerate issues and crashing only caused by online Forge and co-op?
Nope, it was caused by Forge itself. Online and co-op had nothing to do with it.
-
You mean 34% broken. Because at launch only the online aspects were screwy, and the online aspects are only 1/3 of what the game has to offer. And now...well they're still screwy as all hell but not nearly as much. So now I'd estimate it at...17% broken. Unless you live in Australia in which case it's still 34% broken.
I agree that it's completely absurd for the issues to persist for this long. By now it really should be flawless. But at the same time, the degree of hate in these hate posts could only be justified if 343 intentionally made the game buggier as a prank on the player base, and then proceeded to sell empty cases for Halo 5 as an even bigger joke.
Including Forge having framerate issues, Campaign not working in co-op and it flat out crashing.
The game in Australia is about 80% broken, and that's the same for most people around the world not living in the US.

Not even close to enjoying it. I bought it for the anniversary remake (which I will say was fantastic) and for Halo 2-3 Matchmaking.
Boy was I sorely disappointed by the matchmaking, and still am.
The anniversary treatment I'd say gets a 9/10, it could still have work done on it. But Matchmaking gets a 1/10, and I'm being EXTREMELY kind about giving that point. Cause it still doesn't work. -
Too ambitious with little time.
A recipe for failure. Hopefully they fix all of the main issues someday. So far theyve been doing good
They've only been doing well for their customers within America.
For those who live outside of America, very little has changed since day one regarding multiplayer.

They too were ambitious.
That's all there is to it.

Locke is the only correct answer.

How do you feel being a leader of the community?
I don't define myself as a leader, I follow orders and regulations as agreed to when I was asked to join the Moderating Team a while ago
How has being in the position you are in now effected how you are on site?
It hasn't, if I wasn't fit for it in the first place I wouldn't have been asked in the first place.
What makes this site important enough for you to put so much time into it?
I like Halo, so that's pretty much why I joined and stayed.
How has the community changed you?
It hasn't, the internet doesn't change me.
What drives you to go the extra mile for all of these people you have never met before?
I just do my job, I don't see that as me doing anything special for anyone. It gives me entertainment, so that was my top priority to fill.

We already have a dare based game, to keep it confined and populated, I'll redirect your attention to it here.

Brute Chieftain is the proper member title you've achieved, check this thread for the full list of ranks/member titles.

So this has taken a dark turn.
For everyone who voted against me.

Channels already show stuff like Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh! amongst other children's anime. Asfor better/late teen/adult shows no, I'm hiding my power level at all costs from my family.

Who's the best Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters character, and why is it Yami Bakura?

I have an issue in your comparison between Suros and Red Death.
Red Death provides healing after a kill. Suros on the other hand has a chance to heal with each round on the bottom half of the magazine. That provides tons of chances to heal, with out even needing to kill anything.
That is the difference between their two abilities. Thought I would make that clear for you.
The thing about Red Death is that it's a confirmed heal, while SUROS has a horrible percentage chance of regenerating any health. I've been relying on SUROS as my only source of health regen for Hard Crota, and the amount of clips I have to go through to get any health back is insane. I usually average around 4 clips to get health regeneration start, while Red Death needs one kill of anything, and since there are tonnes of Thralls at the end it's a far better choice of weapon to use if you have both.
That being said, using armour that regenerates health is the most ideal option to take advantage of.

Why are they still doing new movies when they could just make a new series? Anyone know?
Toriyama is writing a new manga which will be adapted to anime. The movies are simply setting it up.
-
I have a 360 and One, don't play the 360 though
-
I don't like it, but I want it back.
The reason for this is, that it promotes proper teamplay. Spamming nades without penalty is bad game design, friendly fire should be in because of this. However it must have a harsh penalty system for abusing team killing, as in deranking or bans.- 2

Updating thread here.
At the moment being 9 people it's gonna be a first in first serve. If we have 1-3 more people sign up we can have two lobbies running simultaneously with 5-6 people in each fireteam.
Regarding partaking in the event, everyone needs to be join the 343iCF Clan Theoreticals, send an application and I or Bnus will add you to it. This needs to be done so the Raiding Party Achievement can be unlocked for everyone after completing a Raid.
It'd also be helpful for those who haven't done the Raids to at least watch a video on it so you know what you're doing, it makes it a hell of a lot easier on the higher leveled players who would be forced to drag the team otherwise.
Destiny: House of Wolves expansion release date announced

"House of Wolves will not have a Raid activity. We didn't make this decision lightly. Our team has been humbled by the reception of Raids in Destiny and we are creating a new Raid for a release later this year." - Deej
What the hell are we meant to do, with only two Raids Bungie? That's pathetically bad.
