I'm not sure I fully agree with the previous films being dissapointing. I for one enjoyed Legends, and Forward unto Dawn tremendously.
When it comes to the new show coming out, I believe that Microsoft will put as much funding into it as they need to make it successful. This show is a big deal in the gaming world and will be combed through with a very very fine comb, and everyone involved knows it.

I've been brushing up on Installation 01 because I wasn't really aware of it until only recently. From a new set of eyes, it looks like they are making progress in decent ways, but I'm not sure if it's just fluff to keep people interested. Anyone that has been following it for a while, does it look like they are progressing at a steady pace? What was their initial goal for release?

Hey all,
I'm curious on who thinks they will purchase Scarlett day one? Thinking back, I didn't get the Xbox One until possible 6-8 months after release and didn't feel like o was missing much. I recall them saying that Infinite will be on both Scarlett and One, which comes to my main question. Are you buying Scarlett day one, and if you are/arent, why?

I know I'm reviving a dead thread, but this is something I'm hoping to see in Infinite. I loved in Call of Duty when they had the skin unlocks in ration to certain amount of kills with that weapon. It really made me want to work towards a goal and having something to show for it in game. I really don't like the unlock system they have in Halo 5 and same with Overwatch where it's nothing but a gacha system with a random chance at anything.

Halo 2 with mods will bring me back to some of the best days of my childhood. I remember playing modded maps on Halo 2 before they closed down MP, and I don't think ive had that much fun since!

There hasn't been many games that have piqued my interest for a while now. I played fortnite for a couple months because it was the first time in a long time that I had a hard time keeping up with other people in the beginning. The building/fighting mechanic made it very fresh and new, which is why I think it took off the way it did.
Ive been waiting for another game to come out that'll hit me the same way that Halo, Fortnite, Fallout, and even games like SSX.
I preorder Stadia and I'm excited about Cyberpunk 2077, but nothing else has truly grabbed me the way those other games have.
Anyone have anything that they are passionately waiting for?

Seeing how many guests show up each day on this site(and yes I know that most are misclicks trying to get to waypoint) I believe that once mcc becomes full steam and infinite comes out, if this site has a few active members that keep it interesting during the release, we should gain more of an audience.

The playlist seems to have been made to maximize games played and minimize load times. Some people like the repetition. There's so many playlists to choose from, why don't you just play a different one?

Hey everyone!
Most people I've talked to who are big Halo fans have almost zero faith in the quality of Halo Infinite being above par. Personally, I feel that 343 has had a long time to establish a baseline of what their players want from this game. Depending on who you talk to, Halo 5 was a bust in multiple categories, but still held a few people attached. I do believe that it'll be a great game(more than good) and Microsoft/343 will put their all in the flagship game for the new console.
What are your thoughts?

Really disappointing to see that Activision are still treating their employees so poorly. Layoffs and redundancies might be necessary if there's poor performance or real concerns over financial solvency, but to report record sales with one hand while wielding the axe so brutally with the other is just ridiculous. Here's hoping those affected can find new, better jobs soon!
I've always heard that Activision was not the best place to work. So unfortunate for a company of that caliber to treat their employees like that.

Maybe a community playlist? I thought playing custom maps and gametypes kept it interesting all the time.

Making them all standalone would be would be so costly that it would kill the whole entire profit margin for them.

But I guess it isn't even a debate anymore seeing that we're not going to keep our member status. The forum is starting new and I think it's going in a more community-driven direction!

I have to disagree Tyrael. Not to toot my own horn but just my posts, knowledge and reputation should have seen me as Legendary ages ago. Imagine how I felt to see people given such a status just because they held a staff position...and not given on merit, contribution or any other forum attribute. Even horrible staffers can be given the title.
I didn't know Legendary Members had to be staff before this update. I thought it was genuinely someone who gave back to the community and left for a period of time or have never come back.
