  1. Lets just first start out stating that no...this clan name was not named after the new Halo 5 "Guardians." Though it was a huge coincidence. Clan Background: This clan has been up and running since the beginning of Halo Reach. Originally named the Sanguine Order but later changed it in the middle of Halo Reach's life time to the Sanguine Guardians. The reason behind "Sanguine" is two factors: 1. The English Definition for Sanguine is "Optimistic or positive, especially in an apparently bad or difficult situation." 2. Sanguine is Latin for "Blood" so it is pretty much like saying Blood Guardians though we are little in members, the ones that are with us are very dedicated and have been here since almost day 1. The reason for such a low population is that the clan hit a toll when Halo 4 came out as we saw that it wasn't very clan friendly and stuck to Halo Reach. But seeing that we were already playing Halo Reach for around 2 years...things became a bit boring and we weren't able to find anymore active Halo clans to play with. Because of that our numbers dropped as people started to get bored with the same "Halo mechanics" meaning that we reached our limit on things to do in Reach as it was no longer being updated and morale steeped low after seeing that we will not be a Halo 4 clan. But none the less, we are still standing with the most dedicated of people who are willing to accept those into our family for the upcoming Halo 5. My Background: I started the Sanguine Order with a friend. Unknowing what my limits were and my capabilities as well; I was eager but also unknowing how to be a good leader. With little help i obtained from my friend (Mainly because he got a bit bored with a lot of stuff so moved onto other things.) and having started this clan at a some what young age, I would have to stay the clan wasn't all that, haha. But as time progressed, I matured and slowly but very surely I shaped this clan into what it is today with a very organized system, dedication, and passion for what I love doing which is this clan. I have not only met very good friends, but have made pretty much family that I look forward to playing with or hell, just talking to every single day. I didn't have the best of family members when growing up (usually working a lot or just didn't have enough time) so i made up for it by gathering a great connection with my fellow clan members. This clan has been an important milestone in my life and has made me who I am today. Now this might sound stupid because its "Clan" in a "Video Game" but not all things have to be physical or let alone tragic in order to shape your being. About the Sanguine Guardians: 1. First off we are a Military based clan. If you do not know what that is just think of ranks and chain of command type stuff and having scheduled routines on improving in game skills and outside habits plus having battles against other clans for either fun or bragging rights. (A lot of people get intimidated about "Military" based clans because it sounds like army and marines type stuff which in a way is very similar to what we do but we try to make it fun and not so much just getting on Xbox to simply do tasks.) 2. We only have respectful people in the clan. Meaning no trash talking other people or T-bagging in game. Of course venting to the clan leader about another member is not considered trash talking. 3. We look at following the rules as a sign of respect. If you simply join the clan and **** off and not doing anything with us then why did you join? 4. We are very team oriented with almost everything. Going back to talking about the in game skills; not only do we look at your single combat but also team related combat if not even more. 5. etc... Requirements: 1. Age of at least 14. We are pretty lenient when it comes to age so we will allow those who prove maturity to join. 2. Must have a Microphone in order to speak to us in party chat. 3. Must of course have an Xbox one and going to be obtaining Halo 5 4. Must of time to spare for the clan but we of course understand that Real life priorities come first. 5. Must be willing to better yourself whether its in game or in Real life. 6. (Not as much as a requirement) Have the Master Chief collection to have clan initiation before Halo 5 comes out. Ending note: I honestly spent too long into making this post that i would be surprised if it would let me post this and not have to restart because of how long it took me. Anyways, If this sounds like something you MIGHT be willing to try...why not? If its something new, try it. You might like it. And if not, you can always leave. We would all understand. And one last thing...Joining us wont just be a clan but rather (i would have to say) being part of a family.
