  1. CoD is not a competitive title. It is a casual, arcade shooter that a few pros actually picked up for lack of a better option. Halo is no longer a competitive title. It USED to be an arena style shooter that measured and rewarded skill. Halo Reach and Halo 4 are more arcade than arena. More casual than competitive.
  2. This is completely wrong. We have the patience. We waited just fine until November 11, 2014, when the game released to the masses. Nowhere did I see on the packaging, disc itself, or UI that it was an Alpha or Beta phase, yet it's more broken than several Alpha builds that I've seen. Just another money grab by Microsoft Studios and 343. It was a success and they didn't even give us a working product this time. @elitedennis1993 < This guy understands. @James Avery < This guy obviously doesn't know the value of a dollar. @TheDMinion8 < Umm I pretty much HAVE to play a different game and that is just wrong on so many ethical levels.
  3. Simple answer: No. Long answer: The game is just as unstable as ever. Spend your hard earned money on a good, functional game like Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4, or Grand Theft Auto 5. When (and if) the game is actually fixed, I'm sure you'll know about it and you will be able to save money most likely.
  4. The reason people don't like the changes to Halo and compare it to Call of Duty is one simple reason: Competitive vs Casual/Arcade Halo 1 was an amazing competitive gaming title (and still is) Call of Duty is an amazing arcade title, if that's what you enjoy. Halo has deep roots in competitive gaming history and the more and more they try to compete with Call of Duty's sales, the more it will fail because it loses the competitive niche factor. Also, sprinting itself is not the problem with Halo. It's the other garbage they have packed into the last 2 titles. Jet packs, thrusters, drones, "killstreaks" (basically).. It all started with Halo 3 when they introduced the gravity hammer, bubble shield, power drain, etc. Overshield and active camo was more than enough. Want some truth? http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/38624-message-to-343-industries-from-angry-mobs-of-gamers/ ^This. Another thing that ruins these great competitive titles? Rewarding failure. We don't need an achievement/trophy or a medal when we get a kill after we died 6 times in a row. "Yay I get a reward for playing like crap!" Call of Duty does it the most, but Halo is really starting to catch it. Example: MW2.. Running on top of a building, jump off, break ankles. What happens? LEVEL UP! GUITAR SOLO! MEDAL! ACHIEVEMENT! WEAPON UNLOCKS! NEW BADGE! NEW LOGO! Blah blah blah. Please, keep that preteen joy out of my competitive grown man title.
  5. You promised us so much 343. You took the reigns when Bungie backed out. Then you released an abomination called Halo 4. Even though everyone hated Reach, what did you do? Expand upon it's broken, arcade style multiplayer system. The story was great, in many people's eyes, even mine, but any side of competitive multiplayer that Halo had left, you torched it. You made Call of Duty: Halo Edition and lets be completely honest, it failed. It didn't fail because a new studio was under the helm. It failed because we already have a new Call of Duty title every 10 months. We don't need one with space marines who jump high. Then, after the failure, everyone wondered what you were gonna do next. We said, "Maybe they'll turn the ship around" and we had very high hopes for Halo's future. One amazing day, you announced Halo: MCC. You took all the successful Halo titles, your very par title, and packaged them into one single disc bundle with promises of a true competitive eSports title. Amazing. Every pro or am gamer who wasn't a PC purist was excited. "Console returning to pro gaming?! NO WAY!!!" They were right. No way. You took a simple reskin job. Yes, the visuals are beautiful and when the game runs, it is smooth as butter. But when the game works about 2.3% of the time? Is that worth $60 to countless disappointed people? Is that worth organizations throwing money into compiling teams for your "HCS"? We put all our trust and hopes in you and you let every. single. one. of us down. Good job 343 Industries. You ruined the greatest thing to happen to competitive console gaming. You might have actually killed it for good. You have scared away any company who might have had a chance to bring a competitive eSports title to a console again. I for one, want my $60 back. That won't happen though because I was so excited for your broken game (that's not even a new game, just a reskin and compile job) that I opened the plastic. Maybe I can get $25 bucks for it by selling it to someone else, but honestly, I'd feel like a terrible person for selling such a steaming pile of feces to another human being. So please, 343, give us our moneys back, even if it means a recall. Then, if you want to come back later, do an alpha test and a beta test. But if this is all Microsoft's fault because they rushed you, then re-establish your company elsewhere and forward our hate to them. Thank you, bewareKRAKEN
