  1. Happy birthday Screech

  2. Awesome! I still can't believe how realistic Sgt. Johnson looks!
  3. Surprise, surprise... I'm sure they'll come out whenever GTA V ends up being released on ps4, xbox one, and pc.
  4. Huh? That's not my video... it's from a youtube channel I'm subscribed to... try reading my post before personally attacking me next time.
  5. So a little update of sorts... they demoed Cairo Station again on Twitch's E3 stream and decided to take some questions from people in the chat. One the questions they answered was about whether or not The Master Chief Collection will be released on PC and they answered in a way that makes me think that a PC release is something they're actually considering. They didn't say yes but they didn't say no either. So maybe there's hope for you PC gamers getting an actual Halo game (not something like Spartan Assault) released on your platform for the first time in a decade!
  6. I'm guessing you're talking about the Halo 2 maps, right? If so, I'm 99% certain they're going to be giving everything Halo 2 - campaign and multiplayer - a complete graphic overhaul. A few others have mentioned them saying some of the maps are going to be "re-imagined," which most-likely means they'll be changing a few of the maps' features up a bit. But they were pretty vague during the initial announcement at the MS conference so I could see why you'd be confused about it. Yeah, skulls were in the campaign but I'm pretty sure terminals are new (I admittedly haven't played H2 campaign in a long time) so I figured I'd just include both those tidbits.
  7. Halo Canon has posted a video compiling all of the H2 Anniversary campaign gameplay released yesterday by IGN and other outlets, along with another video discussing a ton of information we have on The Master Chief Collection thus far. Here's a list of all the Master Chief Collection features that are discussed in the two above videos, for those who don't want or aren't able to watch them right now: Re-done cinematics in Halo 2 - the new cinematics will "look better than Halo 4's" and, like you're able to switch between old and new graphics during gameplay, you'll be able to switch between new and old cinematics. Skulls and terminals in Halo 2 campaign - there will be skulls and terminals in Halo 2: Anniversary's campaign - this was revealed in the IGN play-through of Cairo Station: Halo 2 co-op campaign - In the IGN video, it is mentioned that you'll be able to play Halo 2's campaign cooperatively with a friend over Xbox Live. But other sources are saying all of the games have 2-player split screen co-op and 4-player online co-op... we'll see. Campaign Playlists - these allow you to play through Halo campaign missions in a unique new way. Whether you'll be able to create your own campaign playlists hasn't been announced but I think it would be a cool feature to include. Here are a few of the 'cross-game playlists' that are built in: Matchmaking - it looks they currently have a setup that links game modes to games. For example, the Team Snipers playlist will put you in games on CE, 2, and 3 (I'm hoping they update it so you can sort by game as well): Matchmaking ranks - 343 has said they are working on a ranking system that will span all of the games' matchmaking. Nothing has been confirmed, however. Halo 3 and 4's graphics - they are not being completely overhauled like the Anniversary games, but they are getting a resolution bump. Apparently comparable to a Blu-ray remaster. 1080p, 60fps... you know the deal. Forge - though it doesn't seem to be present in the current build 343 is using to demo the game to the press, it has been confirmed that you will be able to use forge on Halo 2, 3, and 4. Not on CE, however. And that's pretty much everything! Be sure to let me know if I missed anything and feel free to post gameplay here as it's revealed! I'd like to see what Halo 3 and 4 look like running on the Xbox One.
  8. The regular game itself comes with a download for the Bandana skull (unlimited ammo and grenades) if you pre-order it from GameStop.
  9. I'm excited and I have no worries! Also, I saw this in the comments when reading an article on the MC Collection and thought it was too hilarious not to share: Yeah, MC totally wasn't on the box art for the first few games....
  10. I'm not one to say I told you so but... I told you so!

  11. Games With Gold launches today on Xbox One! I'm pretty excited to see what this Max: The Curse of Brotherhood game's all about!

  12. After a ton of leaks surfaced online yesterday, the devs took things into their own hands and decided to officially announce the next title in the Battlefield franchise - Battlefield Hardline. According to the announcement posted on the Battlefield Blog, the game is being developed by Visceral Games, not DICE. In addition to that, the game, which is said to be the first title in "a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise," will focus on the war on crime (cops vs. robbers). Visceral Games general manager Steve Papoutsis had the following to say about how Hardlines came to fruition: "Several years ago, I was at an internal EA meeting in Barcelona with creative leaders from across the company. It was here I met Karl Magnus Troedsson, the GM of DICE, for the first time, and we immediately began talking about games. I’ve always loved Battlefield and KM was a huge fan of Dead Space, so we started talking about different ways we could work together, different ways we could take Battlefield and action games in a new direction. And from that point, the project that would become Battlefield Hardline was born." He went on to state that more will be revealed at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (obviously), during which gamers will be told more about "the ways we are adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer, more about how we’re bringing our strengths at Visceral to single player." On another note, a lot of leaks on the contents of the game have already begun to surface. One of the many videos ib the leaked weapons, gadgets, and ranking system can be viewed below (it appears the game will be using a prestige system similar to that which is used in the Call of Duty franchise...). So what do my fellow Battlefielders think about Battlefield Hardline? Is it too soon for another Battlefield game to be released? Is Battlefield starting to become the next Call of Duty? Let me know!
